"El Gato Negro, an LA pizza pop-up by chefs Travis Matoesian and Alan Rudoy, is slinging its pies at Bravo Toast Silverlake on Thursday, November 21 at 5 p.m. The chefs, who met while working in the kitchen at Funke in Beverly Hills, prepare pizzas topped with classic Italian ingredients and LA-inspired ones like sojuk. Natural wines and beers will be on hand, and a live DJ, too." - Cathy Chaplin

Absolutely love coming here, always welcomed with such smiling faces. The staff regularly remembers my order and makes me feel at home. My go-to is the shaken matcha because I am guaranteed great flavor and even better designs EVERY TIME. If you’re in the area (even if you’re not), I highly recommend bravo toast!

Google
Very friendly people and nice space, but the food was nothing memorable. Small slice of bread with minimal toppings for a premium price. Yogurt portion was very small. Better lunch and breakfast options for the price in the area.

Whole blueberries that burst in your mouth. Rich, flavorful latte. Altogether a satisfying cafe experience that I recommend!

Google
Food was exceptional. The sauces for the breakfast burrito were tasty and the jam for the toast tasted super fresh & light. Egg dishes were very good and filling. Coffee was spot on. They also have WiFi and space for working with a laptop. Not busy when we went. Outlets available. Premade cold drinks and juices with healthy options. Highly recommend

Amazing food. Always exactly what I need. AND they dont use seed oils. My favorite breakfast spot in la. But dont tell anyone if i get a bottle of wine 😉. And the staff is beyond exceptional. Always service with a smile😇

Google
Bravo Toast in Silverlake is a five-star gem with a vibe! It has an inviting atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff. We went on a Friday evening and enjoyed a flight of wine and some cocktails on the super cute heated patio. Loved the crispy potatoes and all the toasts!

Tina C

Google
The strawberry matcha was okay! Not sure I’ll go back for it but the place is cute.

Google
So happy to have this place in the neighborhood! Delicious food and perfect wine bar spot to catch up with friends or for a date night. The crispy potatoes and quinoa salad were wonderful! Highly recommend.

Yelp
Fabulous place. Love the ambience, food and service is great. I come here for my coffee every time I'm in silverlake and they remember my order. Thank you bravo toast!

Janeane G.

Yelp
I've only experienced Bravo via delivery due to being a no-car girly living in DTLA...close enough to receive but not close enough to be worth an Uber ride. Anyways, I see that the brick and mortar is cute and I dig it but you guys should not offer delivery, it doesn't commute well! I've ordered twice and it's just inedible, guys. Maybe if you change your packaging from the cardboard box with the thin slippery layer (which causes all food to slide upon each other, no demarcation from one food to the next), the condensation has completely taken over...you put a small jam jar and plastic container of butter in the same slippery box and everything feels slippery, watery and GROSS. Eggs are 100% flavorless - no salt, no pepper, just vibes huh I also tried your chicory iced coffee and cold brew with cinnamon syrup - neither were "good" and both just tasted like very strong cold brew concentrate. Again, cute place that I'm sure is more of a "let's go to Silverlake for the vibes (and not the substance)" kinda place which works ~sometimes~ but this ain't it...for me. Wish you well tho!

Yelp
This establishment should have been customer service and placing a bigger sign on the door when are your business hours. If a passenger by was just looking around and reading the menu, do not have your workers lift your arm up and gesturing WTH don't you see we are close.. you should think before you act. The worker should have come to the door and say Sorry we are close for the day but here is a menu to look at in the mean time when you decide to come back.. This is not good for business. The owner should have customer service class 101 for all the staff to attend.

Yelp
I had high hopes for Bravo Toast, but wow, was I let down. From start to finish, it felt like I was the punchline of a bad joke. $18 for a meal that left me hungrier than when I walked in. I've had better, more satisfying toast from a toaster in my own kitchen and I think that's the point; who is this place even for? What are we too lazy to slice some sourdough and mash some avocado? If you're looking for fancy toast that leaves you questioning your financial choices, Bravo Toast is the place for you. If you want something that's actually worth your time and money, $5 and a trip to the grocery store would do you good

Nicole G.

Yelp
I came here for a workshop and was pleasantly surprised. It is a nice space with indoor and outdoorish and outdoor seating. I had the honey vanilla latte and was pleased to have the option of cold or hot. I got cold and it was really good. I was able to taste the avocado toast bites and they were delicious. The staff were very pleasant and helpful when I was making my selection. This is a pretty chill spot. I would definitely return

Gloria H.

Yelp
Bravo Toast is a quaint little gem in Silver Lake, perfect for a light brunch and coffee. Yes, it's a bit on the pricey side, but you're paying for the cozy ambiance and prime LA vibes.

Laken B.

Yelp
Divine! Wow. Cute seating options! Indoor and outdoor! Soo many homemade GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!! The toast used for the bread was just enough of moist and crunchy! My favorite of all was the Zab's sauce option. It took the avocado toast to another level! The sale it by the bottles! It's a local company. The neighborhood is cute and definitely a walkable area too! Customer service (which is always one of my top priorities) was good too! The staff gave us samples of the other hot sauce they had too!

Carl L.

Yelp
Breakfast burrito is simple but decent. Coffee is decent. The reason I'm giving 2 stars is for the $2 discrepancy between the price of the breakfast burrito on the website menu ($14) vs when I ordered it in person ($16). I know the cost of inflation affects everyone, but this is a deceitful (or careless) business practice to not be transparent with consumers like me who like to read the menus for food items, prices, etc. before visiting a place. I'll take my 2-buck-chuck-self elsewhere before the menus are menu-ing in transparency!

Yervand A.

Yelp
I'm so glad I decided to give this place a shot, even though I was hesitant after reading some reviews. We all know how prices have been going up, so it's understandable that businesses have to adjust too. And let's be real, homelessness is a big issue in LA, and it's not something a coffee shop/restaurant can solve alone. But let's focus on the good stuff! When I walked in, I was pleasantly surprised by the welcoming vibes, even though it was empty. I had been craving avocado toast for ages, so I ordered that along with some scrambled eggs and a black coffee. The service was on point too - they brought me my coffee right away and even asked if I wanted water, which was a nice touch. Now, let's talk about that avocado toast. It was absolutely amazing! The avocado was so creamy and the eggs were perfectly fluffy. I can't wait to go back and try more of their tasty offerings!

Yelp
Bravo Toast (est 2020) is an ostentatious brand new corner coffee, fast causal breakfast and lunch spot located at Sunset Triangle intersection of Silverlake neighborhood of LA. They have one other location in West Hollywood. BT offers a wide variety of drink/food items on their menu from toasts to salads and plates to pastries and desserts. Interior and exterior design and layouts were modern, relaxing, and roomy. Similarly, their seats were very comfortable. I ordered a regular Purist Cold Brew-a medium bodied, colombian, single origin. It's refreshingly good. Staff were assiduous and professional. Prices seem fair for the area. Atmosphere was robustly relaxing. Free street and metered parking. Overall, I had a good experience and enjoyed their drink. I recommend this cute coffee/breakfast shop.

Kimberly A.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday morning and it was not packed yet. We shared 2 different toasts and had the burrito as well. We enjoyed all 3 of them, but the burrito hit the best with the salsa. The latte's were also delicious and we had some black coffe to go as well! Cute spot with cute pottery!

Karina P.

Yelp
This is a popular avocado toast destination in Silverlake and Beverly Hills but they've since grown their menu to include wraps, salads, and other breakfast items. I tried the green goddess avocado toast with burrata and pesto aioli. It was good, but a bit bland and the bread was not toasted. Service also took forever. Skippable.

Jason T.

Yelp
I got the bagel toast which was toast with garlic & herb cream cheese along with cucumbers. My honest opinion is that it is good but could be better. I believe the the bread that is used is too thin. If the toast was a thicker toast, that would make the dish much better and filling! Unfortunately they did not have regular cold brew on deck so I had to get an iced Americano. The employee was very kind to allow me to try their special Dreamy cold brew (Hazelnut/Chocolate). The Dreamy cold brew had a very strong chocolate flavor and could be a good entry for chocolate lovers wanting to try coffee. With a wide variety of options, I will definitely come back to try out more dishes! For dog owners, this place is a dog friendly place! Parking is only street parking and this corner can get crazy depending on the day and time with other popular shops in the same corner.

Nijole T.

Yelp
The cucumber and cream cheese drizzled with olive oil toast is absolutely amazing! Who knew something so simple could be that good? Their yuzu matcha lemonade is perfection. I also love their tuna toast and salads. Everything is made to order fresh with highly quality ingredients. Super friendly and cute cafe for a delicious breakfast!

Melanie K.

Yelp
The service and food are good but this place is way too pricey. Charging customers for $15 per toast is absurd to me. Their breakfast platters also cost around the same price, and to be honest it was very underwhelming. Just eggs and sourdough paired with 1/4 of an avocado. I do not see myself coming back.

Krista C.

Yelp
Cute spot! Really loved the asthetic of this place. I tried the tuna and ricotta toast. Loved the shaken matcha with cinnamon. Indoor/ outdoor seating and nice bathrooms for patrons of the restaurant. Food took a while but large portions and very fresh.

Irene M.

Yelp
First time here! Nice seated patio. The green goddess toast was recommended by the server. It was really good and the service was quick. Iced vanilla latte was great too. Great spot to get some work done.

Kasia M.

Yelp
I tried Bravo Toast for the first time today and it was pretty good. However the breakfast burrito I saw others getting looked really good. The matcha strawberry was also fine. The seating area was a mix of indoors & outdoors & there were a couple open tables on a Friday at lunchtime. The baristas/staff here are genuinely great though. Service rating 10/10.

Ruhee J.

Yelp
I have always come to the WeHo location so I was super excited to find out they opened in Silverlake. The menu is chefs kiss - the toast - toasted to perfection - we got the three toast combo which had savory and sweet options. The tuna has always been my favorite! Also you HAVE to get the potatoes they are decadent. Healthy wholesome options. Ambiance is incredible - lively - they have board games, super fun vibe. Not pretentious but intimate and also dog friendly in the patio -such a plus for me. Service - 10/10. Staff was awesome, knowledgable about the menu and prompt w/ food

Michael S.

Yelp
Great food, coffee and great staff. Good for a long or short stay. Great location. Good atmosphere and they have wifi

Emily C.

Yelp
Great ambiance, extremely friendly staff and service, perfect place for some healthy bites and drinks in the evening.

Ani M.

Yelp
It was fine. Overpriced and watered down matcha latte. The regular latte was alright. Nothing amazing. The whole place reeks of silverlake energy -- white girls sipping 9 dollar lattes while a homeless man lays naked in the parking lot next door while tanning his nuts. I say this because that's exactly what we witnessed as we walked inside...

E R.

Yelp
Delicious toast options. We got the sunny toast (added bacon, sub gluten free bread) and bacon egg and cheese toast. Both delicious. To drink, we got the strawberry matcha & iced vanilla latte. The latte was good, but the matcha was a bit lacking. There is plenty of seating, but due to an exposed trash can, there were quite a few flies that were disruptive/distracting. I am looking forward to returning and trying more toasts!

Noah G.

Yelp
Love this place! My new favorite place to grab coffee and lunch. Their coffee is among the best in the area. Service and vibes are also great, definitely recommend a visit!

Joa F.

Yelp
fast internet, polite service, delicious hot sauce. Ask for the the secret sparking cucumber drink

Riley T.

Yelp
They made our drinks incorrectly with the wrong milks, with only two people ahead of us in line it took a little more than 10 minutes for our coffees to be ready. The employees were not helpful with the experience and seemed very tired and uninterested. Bad service, never going back to this location.

Luke W.

Yelp
Awesome coffee and reading spot, super cool space with a nice little courtyard and good decoration, good for studying and reading but the coffee is actually delicious too so you don't have to compromise. Matcha lovers the matcha is also good. And most importantly the baristas there are all super friendly and hilarious. PLUS i had the burrito once and it was delicious, in fact i might get it again right now.

Rafi L.

Yelp
Food is not fresh and not tasty, very slow and professional service, never come back, It was my first and last visit

Ann D.

Yelp
It's the best avocado toast I have tasted by far. They offer variety of food (not just avocado toast) and drinks (like wine & not only coffee or lattes). The service is excellent very profession, courteous and friendly. The area is very relaxing and nice outdoor seating with outdoor heater if you get cold. I highly recommend this place or if your in West Hollywood go to the Bravo Toast there. Both are highly recommend.

Jack J.

Yelp
Amazing food and coffee! I need that dreamy cold brew in my life daily!!!! Staff was great, music on point! Will be back!!

Julia P.

Yelp
Literally my favorite place to go for breakfast and cocktails/small bites! The gluten free toast is great and not super small like most places. The green The Doheny latte is my favorite latte I've had in silver lake. Also the espresso martini with Soju is so yummy! Service is great - everyone that works there is so helpful. It's a really chill place to hang out at also. Definitely check it out if you are in the area!!

Yelp
A Toast to Bravo Toast: A Serene Weekend Brunch Spot Stepped into Bravo Toast on a quiet weekend morning, craving tranquility and good food, and I found exactly that. Highlights of My Visit: * Avocado Toast and Scrambled Eggs: The star of the morning was undoubtedly the avocado toast paired with fluffy scrambled eggs. The avocado was exceptionally creamy, melding perfectly with the eggs to create a breakfast that was both filling and delicious. * Mimosa Delight: The mimosa cocktail was a delightful, freshly prepared and bursting with just the right touch of zest. * Ambiance: The café's modern design offers a roomy and relaxing atmosphere, which was an instant win. The interior and exterior setups are well-thought-out, making the most of the space. * Comfortable Seating: While the chairs were comfortable, the cool morning made the seating feel a bit chilly. A minor detail, but something warmer to sit on would make the experience even cozier. * Service: Service was top-notch--professional, friendly, and efficient. It's clear the staff is well-trained and eager to make guests feel welcome. Room for Improvement: * Coffee Varieties: The coffee, while decent, didn't quite hit the mark for my taste. A selection of beans or at least a query about preferred brews would be appreciated. * Pricing or Portion Size: The prices felt a tad high for the portion sizes offered. While understandable given the quality and location, a little more generosity on the plate or a slight price adjustment would make Bravo Toast even more appealing. Parking and Accessibility: * Parking: There's convenient free street and metered parking available, which is a plus for anyone driving into the area. Final Thoughts: Bravo Toast offers a serene escape with excellent food that's worth a visit. The few tweaks I've mentioned would elevate the experience from great to exceptional.

Charles W.

Yelp
Exceptional, in a couple key aspects: professional expertise - in art and craft of coffee creation, and hospitality - in both service and ambiance. Glad to have stumbled on to this corner, thank you.

Laura K.

Yelp
Loved trying their dinner bites! Excellent toasts and delicious quinoa salad. Good cocktails too! Will definitely be coming back.

Sol S.

Yelp
BT rocks! Exceptional toasts with all the necessary accompaniments done right. Service is friendly and welcoming.

David B.

Yelp
VERY SMALL PORTIONS!!! In a neighborhood with salad places on every corner, this place was the priciest and had the smallest portions. They charged $5.00 extra for just a few shavings of white meat. I expected better.

Hyun Y.

Yelp
Yay! I liked it! Frosted matcha, the drink is matchaiy and frost is like ice cream creamy. Rec!!

David P.

Yelp
The food here speaks for itself but on top of this feat the service is outstanding. Cuisine for both morning and evening is extremely fresh and inventive. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Drinks are exceptional. Love how involved the owners are in their business.

Brandon C.

Yelp
This place is great. Really helpful staff, quality of the food and drinks are great, and the prices aren't outrageous. I really like how they arranged the seating. Also they're open at night which is such a plus in this area. Not many places you can go just get a coffee or a drink and something light to eat.

Daniela S.

Yelp
I love love love Bravo Toast. When I learned they were opening up a new storefront, I was so excited and it beyond exceeded my expectations. The manager, Hannah, I believe was her name, was so personable and recommended the Sunny Toast, which was out of this world delicious. Also, the outdoor seating is so cute and very ambient. The matcha was so delicious, would highly recommend. Def gonna be a new favorite spot!

Nico D.

Yelp
This is my new fav spot in Silverlake. Hannah and Beatrix are the best. Hannah literally conjured flames upon our request. And beatrix gave me her own personal deck of cards when I was bored. 11/10 service. Will definitely be coming back :)
