Food is good especially the sweets and croissant. Good clean and hygienic. Service was also great. Bowls and wraps are few items to try out at this place. Sourdough pizza could be better. Drinks are not that great. Overall a good to go place with less crowd as co.pared to.other cafes that are inside french quarters.

The place has a lot of potential, especially with its delightful ambience that creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The food is another highlight—flavorful and well-prepared, making it worth mentioning. However, the experience is overshadowed by the lackluster service. The staff's unfriendly demeanor and the long waiting time for food left a negative impression. While it’s a great spot for those prioritizing good food and ambience, the service issues make it difficult to fully enjoy the visit.

Has a few vegan options but they're great. Loved the hummus, veggie on sourdough toast. And the orange vegan cake The coffee was superb! Nice ambience but needs mosquito control measures.

A truly delightful dining experience. The food was excellent, with a lovely ambiance and a memorable night out. The service was also exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff. I highly recommend Bread & Chocolate for a combination of food, atmosphere, and service.

Loved the crossaints and desserts. The coffee was so bad :/ I had ordered a mocha (oat mil based) and it separated so don't order coffee with plant milk. Loved the other toast as well. Take a friend because the menu does not have many single serve options.

Visited for brunch in peak tourist season so there was an expected waiting of 20 mins, however, the same was worth it as the service and the food was amazing. This place lives up to the hype with its beautifully thought-out menu and delicious food; don't forget to check out the day's specials: absolutely amazing. The Hummus and the sandwich were easily 5/5.

Every bite feels like a celebration of flavors. And can we talk about their pizzas? Crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of indulgence. Pair that with their pastries and bakery goods, which are so authentic and delicious, it’s like being transported to a cozy European patisserie. Don’t even get me started on their coffee. It’s rich, aromatic, and the perfect companion to their baked wonders. Every sip feels like a moment of pure bliss. As you can see from my photos, I am a regular here, and for good reason. The ambiance is serene, the staff is lovely, and the food is nothing short of magical. If you are in Puducherry, do yourself a favour and visit Bread & Chocolate. We had a very Delicious brunch from here. Such a beautiful and well kept place. Really loved the Moroccan Chicken Toast. Our Croissant was a lil bit burned , but other than that , a very good experience 💯
