Bread & Cie Wholesale

I have loved the bread at Bread and Cie for at least 20 years! My favorite is olive bread! Delicious and real European bread!

I have been a customer of Bread & Cie since they opened and I still am. My puppy and I are foodies! We can never get enough of their breads and desserts. If you have never been there you are in for a real treat! Judge Bullock

Try the Activated charcoal Sourdough Loaf 🍞. It is Super tasty, wonderful texture and a stunning slice for avocado toast. Breakfast Republic, PB has a GREAT one on b & c charcoal sourdough, which IS DARK, and definitely blue-ish black. 👍👍

I have never tasted this bread/baked goodies from here, as far as I know, but every dang day I walk to work (blue building across the street) and I smell heaven. What ever kind of baked deliciousness you’re crafting in there... keep it up. It’s a great way to start my day :)

I've been using their French loaves for all the sandwiches at my shop, WeBeOB, since we opened in May '20 Outstanding, delicious!!!! It's all about the bread.

This is one of the few places you can get a taste of rustic breads here in San Diego...

Took some time today and spoke with Cia . I've always been super impressed with their bread and had a question about what commercial bread mixers they use. She was super pleasant to speak with and even though my request was not regarding a wholesale purchase order she was more than willing to help just thought I'd share a pleasant experience!

Good selection of European breads and pastries. There are a few tables but this should not be considered a dine in venue.

nice to have an artisan bakery with a high enough profile their goods are conveniently stocked by local grocery stores. BREAD & CIE's OLIVE BREAD is one of our household staples. great for grilled cheese sandwiches or just toasted or grilled with a little olive oil. their fabulous BAGUETTES are regulars at our charcuterie dinners and are great for sopping up the broth/gravy when we've eaten all the steamed mussels or spaghetti or eggplant parm. for CHRISTMAS day dinners (steamed king crab, drawn butter and caesar salad) they're perfect for (FISH MARKET-style) cheesy, garlic bread. dense and chewy, their breads are the stuff of life.

THE "Best" bread bakery in San Diego bar none! The offerings are not "cheap" but when you factor in the quality ingredients, the superb flavor and chew, their breads rival some of the best in the state. Reminds me a lo5 of the ACME Bread Company in San Francisco, but with a few more unique offerings.

Service Dogs are not meant to be distracted or called. Employees are not properly trained on proper Service Dog protocol.

We've been using their bread for our menu and it's the best bread I have used. Their orderjng process is so easy and customer service staffs are alway on the top of the situation and friendly.

OMG, what s good cookie I just had. I am a vendor who stopped in at Bread and Cei for a sales call and was asked by my Office to bring back some bread, so I did. After spying a Chocolate Chip cookie I took a bite and WOW! This was the best cookie I have ever tasted. If you want one you better get one before I eat them all LOL

When we opened our little bistro in Old Town we shopped, and sampled all the local wholesale bread companies we could find; and it wasn't just their close proximity that led to our decision to use their products. Great ingredients, no preservatives, fresh 7 days a week, awesome helpful staff, and excellent all around service. We highly recommend Bread & Cie as a wholesale provider.

Wow! I live this place! The croissants are out-of-this-world! My favorite confection is the apricot oatmeal cookie. The coffee selection is excellent. I wish Bread et Cie would open a shop downtown near me!

Five stars, but why, why, why have you not updated your website and store menu on the wall to reflect no Fougasse on Tuesday? I just drove there early today focused on Fougasse for a friend's 93 birthday luncheon. She and I have loved it over the years. Bread and Cie has been a morning treat for years...beginning back in the days when your coffee was served in large bowls with a cookie and a gold spoon. Obviously, we haven't been there several years. But still, it's 2018, get your website current. I stopped at Sprouts on the way home. It was a lot easier. But that Fougasse would have been such a special treat. Bummer. (I'm from San Diego, not San Francisco as yelp states!)
