Very cute and fun restaurant! We came at brunch time on a weekday and it was pretty open so no need for a reservation. We got the huevos rancheros and the french toast. The french toast was amazing and the huevos rancheros was decent! We will definitely be back again!

I was really excited to try this restaurant, but the experience wasn’t what I expected. I ordered a well-done omelet, but it wasn’t cooked properly—the side under the toast wasn’t done. The hash browns were overcooked and didn’t taste good. On top of that, we waited about an hour to get our order. However, the waiter was friendly and tried to accommodate us, helping us move from table to table, and he also managed to add chicken to my friend’s sandwich just as she requested.

I’ve eaten here twice and both times thought I wouldn’t come back. Breakfast restaurants are expensive in summit county, but even given that this place is expensive for what you get. We are here in October and the thing that really made the place unappetizing was the Halloween decorations. Some of them were cute, which is fine, but they had a window decoration of two bloody zombies. Another one was some sort of goul or something. These may be ok in some stores, but seemed in bad taste for a breakfast restaurant, and made us lose our appetite. When we inquired about it, they said they were trying to win a Halloween contest and all the other shops on Main Street were participating, but most of the other shops we saw did not have decorations, or they had tasteful decorations In short, Bread + Salt had marginal food, was expensive, and had a decor that made you lose your appetite

Bread + Salt has a charming atmosphere and friendly service, making it a nice spot for breakfast or brunch in Frisco. The food was decent—nothing mind-blowing, but solid overall. Portions were on the smaller side, and the prices felt a bit steep for what you get. That said, the ingredients tasted fresh and the presentation was lovely. It’s a cozy place to relax and enjoy a meal, just be prepared to pay a little more for the experience. Worth a visit if you’re in town and want something casual and elevated

Loved this place. What a gem. Ate outside on a gorgeous day. Had the best food and well paced. We were going rafting so were on a bit of time crunch, but they accommodated without rushing or brining everything out all at once. Had oat milk for my latte. My bagel sandwich with side salad was delicious. Loved so many things on their menu. My daughter got the french toast with "eggstra" which was bacon and scrambled eggs for her. My husband built his own omlette. It was our anniversary and it it was so special.

Amazing food! All 5 of us that ate here all loved our food. Service was great and great location with beautiful views!!

We had a great lunch here. My husband and I knew we were going out to dinner so we just wanted to share a sandwich. The server was really friendly and helpful. No problem splitting. We had the grilled cheese which came with soup so we asked just to get an extra cup of soup and our server said we can split that too. Very nice presentation and very friendly staff. Would highly recommend

Hostess (owner?) was very friendly and efficient. My waitress left me hanging for some time which caused a mismatch in timing with my hot beverage and food. She was friendly and attempted to be helpful but just kept missing things. Huevos was pretty tasty when it was all mixed together but it could've used a lot more salsa and the potatoes could have used more something. Salt? I rarely regret a huevos order but the scrambles surrounding me at other tables looked better.

Their homemade bread is pretty incredible, I was very glad I asked them to put my eggs Benedict on the bread instead of English muffin and got to try it. I also thought the mushroom Benedict was unique and lovely. As for the other dishes, bread and salt is just your typical diner spot. You know what you're going to get, but it won't be a gastronomical experience. Fairly empty on a Saturday morning which was great after being told there was a wait across the street.

On our way back from Breck, we stopped here in Frisco to enjoy a breakfast on our way out. The food was delish and servers were very polite and friendly. Definitely would go back on our next trip out there.

What a fun little find our our weekend away in Breck/Frisco! It's small, a little confusing what to do when you walk in (I think I figured out that the "front" entrance is actually on the side? And the entrance on the patio is the exit? It's not super clear, but it all worked out - the only reason I take a star away!) Rhetorical service was excellent and quick, the food- amazing. This was the best hash browns I've ever had- a simple dish but so delicious. I got the Butter it Squash scramble. It was just the perfect amount of food. Prices weren't too bad, we felt we got good quality food and service for the cost. The bread was delicious too! We came on a Saturday and lunch doesn't start until noon, we went for lunch but ended up enjoying trying the breakfast food.

Such a cute and scenic town in Frisco! Was heading back from Breck and stopped by this gem of a Cafe and really happy with it. The staff was all very friendly and attentive. Our server was able to drop some recs and provide warm and comforting service. I ordered the pork Benedict with a cup of coffee. All delicious. They make their hollandaise sauce in house every morning and it had great flavor. A bit smokey and chipotle. So good! The eggs cooked perfectly. Great job chefs! Coffee delicious.

Good sandwich for lunch. We were greeted promptly by a friendly lady and shown a table. The chicken pesto was tender and fresh. Really good green salad accompanied it. Most of the people were enjoying a late breakfast and I could see why. The breakfast dishes looked phenomena. Service was mediocre as our server, seem to disappear for lengthy periods. Inside is clean and functional.

When looking at Bread & Salt's menu, I was excited to try. After getting there and waiting for quite some time, my anticipation only grew as I got hungrier. We finally got seated outside (there aren't a ton of tables) and waited for quite some time to get a waiter, then waited exceptionally long to get drinks. The food was decent, but nothing spectacular. We had to continually ask for refills on coffee and water as the waiter was inattentive.

Food was only so so. Kitchen staff was not busy and took a fairly long time to get to table. Coffee was meh. Cute space, prime location, many hopes for the future!

Atmosphere: Walked into a very small diner. A sign read: No WiFi, Please chat with each other like it was 1985. There was a chalkboard to sign in when there was a wait. Service: As we walked in, we were greeted with a smile and were told if we could wait until they could arrange a table for 5. We waited no more than 5 minutes and were seated. Server immediately asked us for the types of drinks we wanted. Great service and very attentive. Food: Had a traditional breakfast the first day, two eggs, sausages, hash browns, and wheat toast. The sausages were home made and were very good and the hashies were great. We went there two days later for lunch and had a Pork Burrito. This was very good and packed with flavor. They have wholesome food to satisfy anybody's appetite. A great place to eat if you want a great meal and are hungry.

This place is small and not a lot of space, but very comfortable. Service was great, we had to wait for around 15-20min for a table which I didn't think it was bad. The server kept coming to check on us and my water was always filled. The food was on point! Everything we ordered was delicious.

So my husband and I eat here every chance we can get! The last time we just got the classic breakfast. Today I tried something different and I'm so glad I did. I got the omelette with herbs and truffle oil. It was unbelievable. If you've never had truffle eggs, give them a shot. My husband got the French toast with bacon and eggs, and it looked pretty good. I still preferred my dish!

Go out for breakfast nearly every day and am in Summit County a lot, but this spot is not on my rotation. Check the menu as it is limited and they allow 'no substitutions'. Food was ok, but the bacon in my omelet was overcooked, somewhat like bacon bits. There are better choices in the area for my tastes, but maybe one of the menu items is perfect for you. Service was ok, location great.

Great Food and Service, But Frustration with Healthier Options Pricing We recently dined at Bread + Salt and overall had a pleasant experience. The restaurant boasts great food quality and service that left a positive impression. However, there was one aspect of our visit that left us feeling a bit frustrated. The food choices at Bread + Salt are certainly appealing, and they cater to those seeking some healthier options. We opted for fruit instead of toast and avocado instead of hashbrowns to make a more nutritious choice. While the quality of these healthier alternatives was commendable, the issue arose when we received the bill. We were surprised to find that these healthier substitutions were priced almost as high as an additional full entree ($4.00 for fruit and $4.95 for avocado...each). It's understandable that restaurants need to cover costs, but the substantial price gap between these choices and the standard options left me feeling like we were being penalized for trying to make healthier choices. I believe that pricing healthier alternatives at such a premium can discourage customers from making better dietary decisions, and this is something I've experienced at other establishments as well. It's disheartening to see that making a conscious choice for a healthier meal can sometimes come with a hefty financial burden. To sum it up, Bead + Salt delivers on food quality and service, but I urge them to reevaluate their pricing strategy for healthier options. Encouraging patrons to make better choices should not come at the cost of their wallets. Rather than charging the equivalent on a third entree, a fairer pricing structure for nutritious alternatives would enhance the overall dining experience and align with the growing demand for healthier dining options. I would still recommend Bread + Salt for its culinary delights and service, but I hope they take this feedback into consideration to create a more equitable dining experience for all customers.

Cute local place to stop for breakfast/brunch before skiing. unfortunately, I'm usually not too hungry early in the morning and that's when we went before skiing. I only ordered an orange juice and an everything bagel with cream cheese and bacon. No complaints there!! (because how can you get that wrong?) Can't vouge for the other food, but my friends ordered the breakfast burrito and enjoyed it.

Awesome spot, highly recommend this location and the food they serve. Super nice staff and a great atmosphere to have a nice quiet breakfast. Stunning views of the mountains and downtown scenery.

Great breakfast in an amazing little downtown always tastes better! The staff was friendly and accommodating of our baby, and the food was fantastic! We will be back for brunch again!!!

Visited today and was very frustrated with the service. It took us 25+ min to order and around an hour to finally get our food. Once arrived, the food was cold. Overall the taste of the dishes was okay but the service unfortunately ruined the experience for us. Mushroom Benedict was an interesting dish, I would order that again if I were to come back.

We ate here for 3 straight mornings. Great food menu and a generous amount of food. Also they open before everyone... give them your business!

Delicious. Stopped in for lunch and had a burger with the salad and it was above my expectations. Service was friendly, the decor was very nice and everything was clean ! Definitely a place I will visit again soon.

Dined at Bagali's across the street but they served bread + salt brunch menu. Omelets were cold and not packed with mix-ins. Hash browns were undercooked and cold.

Great breakfast and excellent service. We sat outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather and had awesome food.

I am traveling to Frisco and Breckinridge CO for New Years Eve weekend and I can't wait to try out this place. I will post a review with pics.

I like when a breakfast place has some nontraditional dishes. I feel like it's great to have the "standard" stuff that you can always go back to, but it's nice to try different things every once in a while. The Avocado sandwich was delicious, lots of green, and I liked the fresh Jalapenos in there. They also make a delightful Challah french toast. When it's nice out, there's a lovely outside seating area. I believe in the winter this area is closed; after all, this place is at around 9000ft altitude. The service was also very efficient. Bottom line, a good option for breakfast if you're in that area.

What a great breakfast experience! The service was prompt and the food was well priced. The 3-2-1 and Everything Bagel sandwich were both fantastic. 5/5 recommend.

Nice little restaurant right on the main strip of Frisco. We stopped here on our way to copper mountain to fuel up for a day of skiing. It is a small restaurant and seemed to fill in quickly, the service was relatively quick and we were in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I had the green sandwich and I added bacon, it was good, if I ordered again I'd add an extra egg as only one side had it. I would come back to Bread+Salt next time I'm in the Frisco area and need breakfast as the menu has fresh and unique items and the menu seemed to be reasonably priced for being in the mountains.

The food is tasty but be warned it can be chilly if you plan to sit outside. We were hoping to be seated in the sun but the host sat us in the shade. Regardless, the staff were nice and the food was tasty. I ordered butternut squash scrambled eggs which were delicious. Most of the plate is covered in potato hash and I wish it was the other way around. The inside of the restaurant was busy when we arrived on a Saturday morning so keep that in mind if you plan on coming during that time.

While the town of Breckinridge may be larger, sexier and flashy, Frisco is just fine smaller and down with mellow and chilling. And this was s the place to get your morning grub on. Family owned, intimate space and ingredients that are locally sourced. They even give credit to the farms that they buy from. Menu has plenty to choose from and looking around, everyone was chomping & smiling. The staff is exceptionally friendly as well. I'll definitely be a repeat offender.

So why Bread and Salt? I believe the owner equates the Bread to prosperity and that you will never go hungry. Salt-so there is always spice in your life. I'll take it! This place would be a perfect breakfast spot to stop that's in between Denver and say if you're heading to Breckenridge but passed the tunnel. Frisco is a cute town. I love hanging out here beyond a ski trip. Bread and Salt is cute as a button inside and out. They're about 7 years old. They support local as well and they make their own bread at a bakery right across the street. So I can tell you now. Their bread is that good! We requested a second helping. Lol! We tried: 1. Roasted Apple Challah French toast. Anytime I see challah I FORGET everything and tunnel vision comes in focus. The best bread for French toast imho! Request for a real maple syrup.m 2. Huevos Rancheros. This was amazing. In the savory section 3. Boozy mimosa! They're open for dine in and to go. Open 7 days/week from 7 am-2 pm.m Great staff and awesome food. Street parking available!

Happened upon this place during our Christmas vacation. The Huevos Rancheros is one of the best dishes I've ever eaten. Everything perfect. And reasonably priced.

On the way to Vail for a weekend get away, with snow and injurious traffic, we decided to respite with breakfast. Bread and Salt was perfect with minimal divergence. I loved the charming exterior, very inviting. The hostess was polite and sat us at a window table. Our waitress was also very pleasing and sweet. Seeing a place with sparse tables due to COVID brought a despondent mood, which was quickly reprieved with the waitress' genuine smile and optimism. The owner named this place Bread and Salt as these are ingredients found in almost all meals, and the fact that they bake their own country wheat home made bread at their sister restaurant called Bagalis. Bagalis is a bakery literally across the street, which turns into an Italian restaurant in the afternoon. I would highly recommend the bread over the English muffin. Although the muffins are locally sourced from Harvest Moon Balking Co. in Denver, you really need to savor this freshly baked bread. The menu offered extensive choices for breakfast, but I craved the Spanish Chorizo Scramble. It was flavorful with onions, spicy chorizo, mushrooms and herbs. Of course I ordered their toast, a thick cut, perfect for making a scramble sandwich. The bread was amazing, so I asked for a second slice. The coffee was delicious, apparently the Conscious Coffee from Boulder. My wife ordered the Roasted Apples Challah French Toast with side order of crunchy thick bacon, which she loved. She was offered Maple Syrup and fake Maple Syrup, oddly enough; of course she chose the real deal. She also had a Mimosa that was stiff. The real maple syrup and additional toast were an extra charge and are disclosed on their menu under breakfast sides. Awesome and charming place with great service and flavorful food.

DONT GO HERE. This is eggs Benedict. They are charging 19 dollars for an English muffin, one slice of ham and two eggs with NO SIDE! I love right behind this place and would go but not after today. Working in the service industry I know this isn't right.

My go to breakfast spot. Local farm to table theme. Wait staff is on it. Classic Benny was solid and wife's breakfast was great. Local blueberry jelly was a nice touch.

Standard breakfast fare in a cute spot with good ambiance. A bit pricey for the quality. Portion sizes are just right. We tried multiple omelets, scrambles, a Benedict, and coffees and were very satisfied. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was excellent!

Good food! We had the egg blt, grilled cheese and chicken pesto. Bread was good, servings pretty big. Nice views when sitting outside, right off main street. A little pricey for sandwiches. $15 kids menu?

We enjoyed our breakfast here very much. Excellent service as well. The wait was a little long, but not too bad. Just don't believe the yelp waitlist, as they don't actually use it and just look confused if you mention it. There's a chalkboard by the door and you need to write your name on it when you arrive (if you don't know this, you end up even farther back in the line . . . .).

Love this cute little place! I love how you write your name on a chalkboard for the hostess to see to know who you are and how many are in your party. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We didn't have to wait but did wait a little longer for our meal than some other tables. We were in no rush and everything was worth the wait! Definitely recommend!

We enjoy sitting outside. Tables have a cozy feeling. Try the truffled eggs for a truly decadent experience. Great staff. They know their stuff. Lots of menu choices. We treat our dog to the sausages. She approves!

For a busy Saturday morning with a line of customers waiting they still managed to get us seated quickly, took our order promptly and served very good food in so little time. Bravo. The menu is creative, not just typical breakfast brunch dishes. But not an overwhelming number of choices. The whole place seems clean & well organized. Good coffee, strong enough and good flavor. Nice whole wheat toast from quality bread, eggs cooked exactly as ordered, and the best smoked salmon, thick slices that tasted like good fish. I didn't taste the sausages in the other dish so I can't comment . Staff were working very hard and moved with purpose. I love watching a well run operation. Thank you.

Super slow service, forgot our drinks and was in no hurry to take our orders. They were not busy enough to warrant the long wait.

Stopped by for a quick bite after a morning of skiing. We were seated right away around 1pm. Food was decent, especially the mushroom benedict. However will have to agree with an earlier review that they need to revamp their "kid's menu". The kid's burger was $16, plus an additional $3 if you want cheese, which we did. It was the most expensive thing we ordered, hardly a kid/family-friendly experience. Otherwise service was average, and it was an enjoyable meal.

Delicious brunch! We had the Avocatini sandwich and the mushroom Benedict. Both were fabulous. The Avocatini has fresh jalapenos and packs a punch. Great staff and cute, sunny interior. I'll be back.

I was really craving some pizza and saw that the menu had it, so decided to give it a try. After looking at the menu pizza was the last thing on my mind as they had so many good options! I ended up getting the chipotle pork Benedict and we also ordered the lamb pasta. The Benedict was out of this world, I'm normally a bit wary when it comes to holla Daisy sauce but they did an awesome job here. The rig he amount of sauce over the two eggs, the pork was so tender, and the poached eggs were done just right. When the second dish arrived I totally thought it was a soup and not a pasta because there was so much liquid. I'd give that one a less than stellar rating when compared to the Benedict (definitely finished that plate ha)

Bread+Salt is a wonderful place for breakfast on Main St in Frisco. I have been going here for years whenever I come on vacation. The restaurant is pretty small and has indoor and outdoor seating. I went on a Tuesday morning and it was not busy at all. I had the chorizo scramble and my friend has the Avocatini "Green" Sandwich. Both of the dishes were excellent. My scramble had great flavor with the chorizo and mushrooms. It also came with hashbrowns, which was a big part of why I ordered the dish. The green sandwich was large and very green from the avocado and pesto. Bread+Salt has a nice menu with many unique dishes as well more traditional breakfast dishes as well. I highly recommend going here!

Unfortunately due to prior commitments we did not allow enough time to eat at the restaurant but got it to go. OH MY GOODNESS the French toast is beyond delicious. 5 huge slices which are served with warm, cooked apple bits and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. I absolutely loved the wait board that I noticed when I went in to get my order. You place your name on it and are able to see where you are in line for a table. What a marvelous idea.

We were in town for a wedding and decided to try Bread+Salt based on the reviews. Food was delicious and service was friendly. Loved being able to sit outside and see the view of Main St with the mountains in the background.
