The Incredible BLTs of Philly | Eater Philly

"Breezy’s Deli and Market in Point Breeze is the new kid on the block, serving up decadent sandwiches and energizing smoothies. Its turkey BLT, named “The Beer Jesus” is a hoagie packed with house-smoked turkey, turkey bacon mayo, tomato-cherry spread, and gruyere cheese." - George Banks-Weston

Breezy's Deli & Market Review - Point Breeze - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Everyone needs a Breezy’s in their neighborhood. The cheery Washington Avenue deli and market on the border of Point Breeze and Graduate Hospital comes from the same team as neighboring Porco’s and Small Oven Pastry Shop. It’s basically a corner store run by a chef, so they sell produce, meat, and snacky sweets from local purveyors like Metropolitan Bakery and Milk Jawn. But if you see a line of parents and their scooter-riding offspring, it’s for the smoothies and made-to-order hoagies. They all come with hoagie juice–their signature vinaigrette—but the standout is the super savory Roast Beef Jawn packed with herbed prime rib beef, banana pepper relish, marinated onions, mustard-horseradish mayo, and horseradish cheese. The Italiano is also good, since it’s stacked with Porco’s porchetta. And make sure to grab a salted chocolate chip cookie from Small Oven on your way out." - Alison B. Kessler

Google
Great place for some of the best sandwiches in Philly. Really enjoy their roast beef "tush push". Also have a good variety of produce and interesting products. Glad that the Porko's crew is able to offer this expanded concept to the neighborhood

Excellent smoothies and juices! A wide variety of goods and fresh produce. I loved this place!

Ordered the turkey hoagie on seeded roll ( the roll y’all) W/ regular mayo and oil. It comes with mixed greens, guy-ere and another cheese… I didn’t think I’d like it but surprise surprise. Chad made my sandwich ( yum). I got some of the dietz chips ( dill pickles) off the shelf. Excellent flavors and taste. I was more than pleased with the taste and quality.. a little pricey total was $21. It’s a must try…

Google
The hoagies here are legit. I got the turkey BLT one and it’s my go to. At first I thought the price was a little steep but once you bite in and taste the high quality ingredients it’s all worth it. One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had.

My FAVORITE croissants, smoothie and soft serve icecream spot. Can't ever have enough of these. Great pleasant staff and experience each time. Nice to have a convenient spot in the neighborhood.

Hear me out: The sandwiches SLAP! They should actually compete on Dana White's Power Slap. Matter of fact, they are about to get ME TOOed, because the sandwiches here slap. LOL That being said: Let's call a spade a spade. They are really overpriced. I was reading over the comments and it seems like that was the number one concern. We as the consumer understands that you are a "mom and pop shop" but at the same time you are selling to middle class customers who want fair and competitive prices, especially this day in age. Again apples to oranges. Suggestions: Maybe mask your prices with a meal deal? Add like a bag of chips and one of your delicious smoothies for like $19.99 and you can increase your ticket price while focusing on your main product: The Sandwiches: which in theory helps rotate your groceries and foot traffic. Go Birds

Google
The eggplant caponata & roasted red pepper hoagie was the singular best vegetarian hoagie I've ever had, by a mile. One of those sandwiches I'll day dream about for the rest of my life.

Google
Ordered an Italian (typically how I judge a sandwich shop in Philly) and it was a decent tasting sandwich but not the Italian you expect when you order a hoagie in Philly.. had a strange almost curry-like component to it which wasn’t necessarily bad, just wasn’t for me.

Yelp
We ordered a Gobble 'Til You Wobble and the quality was fantastic. The Sarcone's bread was toasted perfectly and it was just the right blend of ingredients. We look forward to trying more menu items.

Yelp
We went here after my husband saw it on instagram. It's a bodega and sandwich shop in a neighborhood. So there's nothing nearby if you're visiting and want to walk around. But we were here for the sandwich anyway. We got the dark horse which was big enough for two if you aren't looking for a huge meal, which we weren't. It had mortadella, arugula, pickled onions and a spread with a sauce too. Overall it was good but I'm not sure it was worth the two Uber rides. If you're around there and have a car I would go but not if you're staying in the city without a car. Sandwich had a little too much vinegar for my taste but my husband thought it was perfect. So depends on your liking. There was a small sitting bar area inside.

Yelp
The eggplant hoagie was delicious however the avocado smoothie was a dark color and tasted bitter and off like the avocados may have went bad and they still made it

Yelp
Breezy's Deli & Market is a terrific addition to Graduate Hospital: well-stocked and organized corner store if your recipe needs a boost, a delicious hoagie shop, and friendly staff at your disposal! We ordered The Beer Jesus a/k/a Turkey BLT (house-smoked turkey, turkey bacon mayo, tomato-cherry spread, gruyere cheese, cooper sharp, lettuce, tomato, marinated onion, Breezy's herb blend & hoagie juice, s + p, olive oil) and The Party Boi a/k/a Italian (Porchetta, pepperoni, hot gabagool, genoa salami, provolone cheese smear, pickled pepper relish spread, lettuce, tomato, marinated onion, Breezy's herb blend & hoagie juice, s + p, olive oil) hoagies online and picked them up after a short jaunt. Jam-packed with flavor, I especially loved the super-thin sliced tomatoes. Will be back to try other offerings, including smoothies!

Yelp
Fresh deli meat and crusty bread. I think next time I'll order the non-seeded and have them scoop the roll. It is a massively big roll. Variety of toppings both unique and health (sun dried tomatoes). We ordered ahead and even though the missed a few 'cut in half' perfect for EAGLES tailgating. Service was on point. Small corner take out spot.

Yelp
So excited that Breezy's deli finally opened. I decided to go grab a hoagie for lunch. I wanted a ham and cheese hoagie but they did not have ham but asked me to try the Porchetta because it is pork. The deli has unique chip flavors, candy, sauces, oils, etc. the deli has produce and flowers. I did wait about 30mins for the hoagie ( it was busy) but everyone that worked there were super friendly and professional. The hoagie was good. I will definitely be back !

Yelp
I ordered the Italian Hoagie and was thoroughly impressed with the taste. For $16 I hoped for more quantity wise, but quality wise I have no complaints. If this was ~ $3 or $4 cheaper I would make this my new go to lunch spot. I was also craving a smoothie and I saw online that they offered some, however when I got there and saw how small they were for $7-$8 there was no way I could justify that. The staff was very friendly, I waited about 15 minutes for my sandwich but I went at noon on a Friday and they were very busy. I would say that this is not the most size inclusive place, if you are a larger person you might have a hard time navigating the tight walkways inside. But they have some chairs outside you could wait at.

Yelp
I have been waiting for this market to come alive for so long and I am so excited that it has finally joined the neighborhood. I tried one of the sandwiches here and the ingredients all tasted so fresh and delicious. While it was one of the most delicious sandwiches I have had in a long time, it was definitely also one of the most expensive sandwiches. $17 for a sandwich is totally nuts. I love the concept of this place and am a huge fan of the place for supporting/promoting local businesses, but the prices are just insane.

Yelp
really really REALLY YUMMY sandwiches! like truly insane and beyond good -- a very thoughtful sandwich. the rest of the store is super cute and has an interesting variety of products, plus the staff is super friendly and kind, always! it's pretty expensive there but worth the cost in my opinion, i just don't get it regularly just as a treat!!!!! i do wish they had lattes though (if they do then im silly and i can't wait to discover!!!!), a yummy coffee and a delish sandwich with maybe a bag of chips (nora seaweed snacks tempura spicy flavor im lookin at u!!!!) is an unbeatable lunch. still -- THIS PLACE IS AWESOME check it out!
