The perfect way to kick off the new year! I had such a lovely time at the sourdough pasta and amaretti class with Chef Jenna and Chef Jyune. They were both so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, explaining with clarity and great practical tips. Jay, who sent reminder emails, was also really pleasant.
The atmosphere of the class is welcoming and conducive, with soft music in the background, and a clean and well laid-out workspace. There's a little dining space too, to eat what you've made. The space has clearly been designed with thought and warmth (I don't mean that literally-- you'll be in airconditioned comfort).
I love that the class is hands-on, just a small group, with various ingredients prepared in advanced for ease. Whether you're here on your own or attending as a couple/with a friend, you'll feel at ease and ready to pick up some new techniques and recipes. Great for both beginners and intermediate cooks. Very accessible too, just a short walk (~10 minutes) from Tan Kah Kee MRT station.
I was also pleasantly surprised that we were able to take home such generous portions. Will definitely be back for a future class!
