"For a city that didn’t previously care much about hotel restaurants, we suddenly have a whole lot of them, including Breva, inside the renovated Hotel Figueroa. Given that it’s just down the street from the Staples Center, this is a well-placed spot for a drink and snack before a game. The menu is Basque-inspired, with good ham and cheese croquettes, great fried chicken, and a not-very-Basque-at-all cheeseburger that you should definitely order. The vegetable dishes are less impressive, but the desserts are worth leaving room for." - Jess Basser Sanders

Breva is inside the The Fig Hotel aka The Fuigeroa Hotel. We went on a Friday for lunch. Wasnt too busy we were sat immediately. The server came fast to take our drink order and shortly after that we place our order. I order the the Burger at the Fig is was really tasty medium rare. My friend order the Dry aged burger. Both very good but next time I go back I'll order the Dry aged one. Nothing wrong with The Fig Burger its just that the Dry Aged was better in taste for my liking. Also Brittney was great and very helpful in her recommendations. Chocolate cake was too chocolatey for me needed a scoop of vanilla.

It was a great experience. The rib eye steak I ordered was great. The meat is very tender and flavourful. The atmosphere is nice and fancy. The service is great. Hope to visit again.

We tried dine LA menu there. Toasted bread with mushroom is so yummy. However, it took over half an hour waiting for second course.

Delicious food and amazing service! We got seated in the hotel lounge area since we showed up without a reservation and the restaurant was full. Their food is fresh, flavorful, and hip. We had octopus, chicken wings, mushrooms, flat iron steak, and branzino! (It was a bit more than needed for three people, but we finished everything.) Our server was Brittney and she was super attentive and professional. She definitely made our dining experience superb. We left feeling like it was worth every dollar we spent. I highly recommend it.

I visit LA often, this is a great addition downtown. Beautiful bar, good menu of classic dishes. Best G&T ever.

You can tell the people behind this place truly care about providing a stand-out experience. Breva is located inside the newly revitalized Hotel Figueroa. Like the rest of the hotel, its atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between being lavish and inviting, which isn't an easy trick to pull off. Everyone on the staff, from the valets and those at the front desk, to the servers and bartenders, are super helpful and friendly. You'll find none of that too-cool-to-care attitude we've all encountered at other posh places here. I arrived early for dinner with friends and found a quiet spot at the edge of the lobby to do some work. All I had was hot tea, and the staff was very intuitive about when check in or leave me be. I felt welcomed. That carried over into the restaurant where the servers and managers made my party feel at home. We even got to meet one of the chefs and the gentleman in charge of the bar program (who made me an incredible off-menu cocktail with mescal!). About the food...having never tried foie gras, I decided to give it a go. It was too rich for my taste buds, but my sense is that the dish was done impeccably well. What I was really excited about, and what really shined, was their burger. Seriously just damn delicious. My friend order the fried chicken and crispy potatoes, which were also amazing. What a meal to remember! If you find yourself in the area, you must check this place out.

This is a great restaurant with amazing tasting good. The service was great and quick. Good pricing was reasonable. They do not have typical drinks on their menu but they do offer soda, tea, and sparkling water. The bill had an item at the wrong price but they fixed it for us immediatly. I suggest the potato skins app, tuna sandwich, or one of their burgers.

We had the clams, tuna tartare, and fried chicken. It was all excellent, and the appetizers were larger than in some other upscale restaurants. Cocktails were also lovely. Very pleased with our whole experience.
