Google
Cute cafe with an outdoor patio, walk up window and indoor seating. Inside there's both a Mirjam cashier and a self service kiosk. Coffee and pastries were both good and while the torta was a bit pricey it was huge - easily enough for two people to split, making it a much better value. Staff were friendly and service was pretty quick.

We came here on a Saturday at 10am and the line was out the door. This place came highly recommended. We were able to sit outside, it was a little chilly. The entire inside was full of folks. I got the veggie breakfast panini, it comes with a side of salsa verde. And it had a sauce on it, probably a chipotle aioli. It was tasty, the bread was very crunchy, and the veggies were fresh tasting. I got a cold brew too, it was tasty. My kid got a plain bagel with cream cheese and an orange juice. My partner got the farmers panini, it comes with bacon and eggs and a chipotle aioli. It was well received. My partner also got a horchata latte. Overall this place had a great vibe, good food.

Google
I ordered the coconut Ube latte and it was gorgeous and delicious! To eat, I had the turkey panini with verde salsa (spicy and yummy!) the sandwich was good—nothing spectacular but tasty. I was a little disappointed with the danish (blueberry and lemon) it was too dense for my liking, dry and unflavorful IMO. I would go here for coffee but maybe skip the food!!!

Google
Hands down one of the best coffee shops found this year. It’s so hidden and very welcoming inside. Tried their grasshopper latte iced and coconut ube latte iced. Both just as good! Their service was amazing as well and very quick. Easy to find parking too so that was a plus. Highly recommend everyone to try this place!!!

Google
One of my top 5 coffee shops! I love their lattes, and pastry items! Lately it’s been more busier, which sometimes makes the drinks have less quality on the weekends, but overall I recommend!

Fernando Delgado

Google
I had an iced pistachio latte during my recent visit, and it was amazing! I'll definitely be back to try the other drinks. The chicken torta was packed with flavor, and the green salsa that came with it had the perfect amount of spice. I arrived an hour before closing, and they were still a little busy, but a little patience and compassion go a long way!

Google
This cafe was great! Loved the Coconut Ube latte, was fun and unique drink. Not too sweet and definitely a good afternoon pick-me-up. I also enjoyed the match latte- I added cherry syrup (this was a first for me) and it was a perfect mix. Refreshing, light, and delicious. Would like to go back to try their tortas. I've heard the chicken/chipotle one is delicious!

Google
a little more expensive than other coffee shops I've been to but it was good and they had a pretty unique menu. I wasnt a huge fan of their chai tea latte, but the torta was great!

Yelp
Great, fresh tasting food! We had the chipotle chicken torta and the mushroom torta. Both are highly recommended!

Yelp
a hispanic owned coffee shop, with great drinks and good tasting food. what more can you ask for. The service is okay, the staff is friendly but super busy so of course they'd wanna get people in and out. the walk up window is amazing because of the pup cups! i recommend the uber coconut latte and their cold brew.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Ok, I think I'm coming here weekly now lol. We tried their mushroom torta and it was flavorful and delicious (we aren't even vegan or vegetarian!). The bread was so nice and soft too. Service is kind and friendly, my dog enjoyed his puppacino :) Was slightly busy on a Friday mid morning. We enjoyed the aztec mocha! So good.

Yelp
Super nice vibe, smell, and great coffee. Super friendly people and I have to say the service is excellent. They are quick and responsive I like the area, and would visit here again

Linda C.

Yelp
The service leaves a lot to be desired. The server kept saying Im new " I don't know" I ordered a small cafe de olla she bought me a large. It had no piloncillo In it It tasted like coffee with a ton of cinnamon. She asked if I wanted cinnamon and I told her yes cafe de olla comes with cinnamon. Again she said I don't know Im new here. By the way worst cafe de olla ever. I would have ordered a cafe americano had I known

Yelp
Great service and tea selection. We got the red berry and lemon ones (they had fancier names). Will be back to try the coffee!

Yelp
Love this local corner coffee shop. The variety of drinks and food is great and unexpected. They have an adorable patio and the staff is super friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
Great service, even better coffee. Brew brew has a lovely local feel and is always full. The quiches are to die for and I love their seasonal lattes! Bring your pup and order through the window for a little pup cup treat!

Yelp
Brew Brew is one of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood. You must try their lavender latte, or their miel latte. Their coffee is something I look forward to on Sundays after church , cafe y una donut. If you're hungry and want something more than a donut, order the mushroom torta. It's a vegan sandwich with black beans, mushrooms, and all the goodness between two slices of bolillo. The ambiance is great if you want to meet a friend or work /study. In the summer they have outside seating to enjoy an iced latte with a side of sunshine.

Alexandria G.

Yelp
This is a nice addition to the neighborhood. The Iced Horchata is amazing with a shot of espresso, which is how the cashier recommended it. I bought a bag of beans (Ruca) and had them ground for a French press. The coffee is lighter than expected but OMG the taste is amazing. Chocolate forward! The selection of pastries is nice too! Visit the patio this summer, and tell them Alex from Las Damas sent you.

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, unique flavored and delicious drinks and food! Had the snowflake latte and tomato and basil quiche, would recommend both.

Berenice D.

Yelp
There was a bit of a wait but definitely worth it. I loved watching the snow fall through the windows . It was cozy. Great coffee, great food!

Elaina S.

Yelp
Love this place, my two smaller kids use to work there when it was a grocery store, The owner and family are Good Souls, this place is amazing Free wiFi the food the coffee. I love the coffee... the outdoors seating with beautiful lighting.. great service
google avatar

Gabby V.

Yelp
Best Ube latte I've ever had wish I ordered a large instead of a small. Cozy and warm vibes. Will definitely work from here sometime. Update: their tortas are delicious!!
google avatar

Kelly M.

Yelp
I love Brew Brew. Excellent drinks and service. Excellent tortas! I have but one suggestion -- waaay more cream cheese one your bagels!! Its barely enough to spread over 1/2 of one side... for real!
google avatar

Yelp
A lot of coffee shops are closed right now for some reason and I'm glad Brew Brew was able to reopen. The inside is cozy and would be an excellent place to sit down and relax and sip on some delicious coffee. I ordered their Aztec Mocha. The coffee itself was perfectly brewed and had a unique taste. They have several options that's I wouldn't mind checking out on the near future. You get an abuelita flavor with mocha. My only complaint is that the guy working the counter wasn't very inviting. When we entered the building there was no acknowledgement or "welcome, we'll be right with you" and when I received my coffee I said thank you without a thank you back. Maybe an off day? Luckily their coffee was good but If I receive that type of service again, I won't be returning.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! It is a great find in a cute area and I can't wait to return! The staff is genuinely nice and actually make good reccomendations, too! The drinks and food are both delicious, and the atmosphere is really relaxing too. There is a nice little seating area inside and outside to accomadate customers needing some space. My favorite is the specialty drinks! The only things difficult, and no fault to them, that it is in a neighborhood, so unless you live close by and can walk, the parking situation is a bit diffuclt, but that should NOT deter you from going there!

Cathy F.

Yelp
Had the snowflake latte So Delicious! Prices are great and the staff are super friendly!
google avatar

April P.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. The prices were very fair. Service was friendly. The cafe miel latte is amazing. They have alternative milk options other than just dairy milk (almond and oat). I also ordered the mushroom torta and homemade salsa verde and it was very good! I love the touch of fresh flowers throughout the cafe. There's an adorable patio seating area outside. It's very bright and extremely clean. I will absolutely be back here!
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
Very good about keeping a limited amount of people in the store. Asked a few to wait outside when it was too crowded. Very friendly staff, as you'd hope and expect from a good coffee shop. Both times I've had the Snowflake Latte which is a little sweet, but just what I need being pregnant right now haha. We've tried the Tomato Basil Quiche and the Spinach and Feta Quiche - both very nice and they heat them up well. We also tried a sprinkle donut and it was delicious. I'll be back!
google avatar

Neal G.

Yelp
The drip coffee is smooth. Good selection of pastries and quiches; I'm enjoying the cinnamon roll. Chai latte is a nice balance of sweet and spicy. Wide selection of single-origin whole bean for purchase. Cute decor.

Yelp
I've learned to make my coffee and matcha lattes at home, but it's nice to have Brew Brew within walking distance. I treat myself every now and then to their grasshopper latte. Pistachio + Matcha = Yum. Pro tip on the Oaxacan Horchata Latte is it doesn't come with any coffee! They ask if you want to add a shot of espresso, but I really think that should just be the default, otherwise it's way too sweet. I like the vibes here but haven't posted up due to Covid. It's still a nice neighborhood spot tho.
google avatar

Laura R.

Yelp
Great coffee shop with a twist on traditional Mexican drinks. I went the day before Halloween and they had cute día de los muertos toppers!
google avatar

Berenice S.

Yelp
I passed through this place countless of times and I never went inside. A co-worker recommended it, and I'm a sucker for coffee. It's small, and a bit dark but I get in we're in the middle of a PANNY. Staff is so friendly and the coffee OMG I beat myself up for going to Starbucks everyday. I had the horchata latte, and a glazed doughnut. You can taste the quality right away. I love that it's local and they had really cute merch, mugs, pins, stickers. I ended up buying the Walter Mercado sticker " mucho mucho amor"

Yelp
Stopped here with a colleague for meeting. I got a chai and a muffin. Both were good. Place is chill and internet connection worked well.

Yelp
Came here for a trendy presidential latte on Inauguration Day and it was amazing! My boyfriend and I will be back for the Tortas and the Lattes

Yelp
Beautiful space, locally owned, excellent sunlight, really nice little gifts, some tasty bites, and good coffee. What's not to love? This little coffee shop surprise turned out to be one of my favorite local spots on Diversey. They have very good sammies to go with your coffee in the morning, perfectly put together to get your day started off right. I really like the interior decoration, the music, and the people were extremely nice. I'm looking forward to coming here more often!
google avatar

Salena C.

Yelp
My coffee obsession is becoming more and more real (I blame wedding planning!), and Brew Brew has been on my list of cafes for a while! It's a slightly dim, cozy spot with lots of dark wood and the option of unlimited refills. I ordered the lavender honey latte and thought it was delectable. No added sweetener needed because the pops of floral and honey were so, so good. Plus it was under $5 for a 16oz. I asked the barista for suggestions since I thought the posted menu was a little unclear, and she verbally told me about some of their specials. I really liked her a lot, and wish all baristas took time out of their day to smile and engage like she did. I wish I found out about Brew Brew when I still worked in that neighborhood! I can't be back that often, but whenever I'm close I know my go to spot :)
google avatar

Ann P.

Yelp
Darn good coffee, tasty home made treats (cannot recall from where but made locally) and a cool hip vibe. They also have some fun gift items for sale include David Bowie pins. Dine outside in their little patio area. A fun spot.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check out a local coffee shop near the Hermosa neighborhood. I was finally able to yesterday. Closest one was Brew Brew Coffee and Tea. It was less than a 5 min drive on Diversey from my location at the time. We Yelped and came across the menu. Their site focuses on winter brews which caught my attention. The website itself was very nice and it made me curious to know what else was on their menu outside of their winter brews. One drink that stood out was the Oaxacan Horchata which, I believe, does not have any caffeine at all! I loved it. It was very good. Nice and warm, not too hot. You can taste the milk, rice and cinnamon that you typically have in Horchata. Come to find out there's hints of cantaloupe! Would not have believed it! It topped with slivered almonds which add a great touch and texture to go along with the drink. Just what I needed trying to battle CHI-laska!! The shop itself was fairly small. It was quaint and quiet. Plenty of folks there around 2ish. It let me know that this was the local spot to be at. Had to actually take our drinks to go, that's how short on space it was. The shop offers much more once you actually see their menu inside. I'm not a coffee fanatic so I encourage you to try yourself. Short of a 5 given the space. Overall, great place to check out! Very original with their winter drinks!

Marwa R.

Yelp
The food here is so delicious! The drinks are also creative and very yummy. The cafe itself is super cozy, staff is so kind and quick, and they even bring your food out to you if you're dining in. Can't wait to come here again :-)

Roasted Unroasted C.

Yelp
Roasted: small coffee shop in Avondale. They serve a decent food menu as well as good coffee. They use Passion House coffee which I love that they are using a local's coffee. Ambiance was good - music was a good volume, staff was friendly, it just felt more like a cafe focusing on food vs. coffee. Latte was great - temperature and taste were both spot on. I've been wanting to check this coffee shop out for a bit now and it was well worth the visit. Unroasted: coffee hit the spot for a lazy Sunday morning. I like that the park is across the street and music was soft hit the vibe. Staff was courteous and coffee was on point. There pastries look amazing. Latte art was good but not the best I've seen. No sugar added

Yelp
This coffee shop is around the corner of my house I leave right here in Logan Square over 27 years and is the first time I have a coffee shop close to my house I am enjoy to go definitely definitely is a very good addition for my neighbors

Yelp
Brew Brew What a cool name! Love this hidden little coffee shop and never knew it was in this even in this area. The times I've been there it was never packed and it was a nice and calm atmosphere. So for the mobile working people I would highly recommend! The matcha latte and bagel / lox are my favorite things to order but if you got a sweet tooth don't forget to grab a donut. They are delivered fresh from Gurnee Donuts which you might of heard of. Just Amazing!
google avatar

Arelys A.

Yelp
Great iced matcha latte and much better prices than Colectivo or Intelligentsia! Popped in today to grab a latte to go and the barista was really nice. There were about five people in the cafe either working on laptops or chatting with friends. Chill music playing in the background and the walls were a nice dark color that made the place feel very relaxing. My latte was delicious and the pastries were calling my name. I was debating getting the old fashioned or red velvet donuts but decided against it (gotta get fit for the wedding!), but I think I'll head back next week and try one. I work from home and am always searching for a cute cafe to work out of and I think I found a new spot. There was plenty of street parking, wifi, a printing station, and lots of seating options.

Yelp
Very cool place in the neighborhood! Comfortable, w great coffee and tea options. The menu is simple but delicious! The staff is very cool and friendly. The sitting accommodations are good too, i.e. tables, lounge seating, etc. This is my first visit and glad I stopped by.

Yelp
Brew Brew Coffee Lounge may not have the flashy, stylish exteriors and a logo of the Statue of Liberty painted in green, but they have friendly faces, neighborhood serenity, and quality coffee from Metropolis. After a trip to the bank on a Saturday morning, Rosa J. and her hubby needed to continue their days with energy and open eyes. I occasionally passed by Brew Brew when running errands at Logan Square/Avondale neighborhoods on Diversey, one (1) block east from Pulaski and directly across from the Kosciusko Park. Other than the basic fresh-brewed coffee such as Americano and Red Eye, they have a few caffeinated specialty beverages. We adventurous people ordered a medium mocha, a medium tiramisu latte, and a poppyseed muffin. The total came to $11.45. I would say prices were fair for the neighborhood standard. When I was settling down, pulling my i-pad mini out of my bag, and logged onto their free wifi, our drinks were delivered to our table. How kind! That's why I like the local neighborhood coffee shops, because there's no need to ask for names and write them with a sharpie on the cups. Their tiramisu latte was listed on the "special menu" on the black board in the back. If you like to "drink your dessert in a cup," I would definitely recommend this creatively-crafted beverage to you Yelp sweet lovers! Their matcha mocha was quite solid as well. After all, you can't go wrong with Metropolis coffee in the house! I wish a community coffee house like Brew Brew Coffee Lounge exists in my hood, Albany Park. Perhaps re-creating BBCL will be my next mission in life...you never know!

Yelp
This coffee store is such a nice place to visit. I've been there a couple of times and it always was a pleasure because of their coffee and tea options. Last time I ordered maple latte for myself and it was pretty cool. I mean I have never tried it before and really regret about it now because it's so delicious and can leave completely satisfied such a great coffee lover taste like mine. I'm pretty sure you won't stay indifferent after tasting it. And what I like about this spot is their inner and outer design. It brings a sense of coziness and really feels like home. Staff is always polite and helpful. Always ready to help you pick something special for you and that's nice. They're all like one big family and it attracts us customers here like a magnet. Very positive vibes and aura. Definitely gonna return here again soon

Nancy B.

Yelp
Went in to order a coffee and the Horchata Latte sounded intriguing so I decided to order it. Only thing is that this "latte" has literally no coffee in it so I paid $6 for flavored milk. Also they charge extra to make drinks iced???? What? The Horchata itself has a great flavor, a bit sweet but i expect a latte to come with coffee and not be surprised when it doesn't. They should take the word latte out of the drink and just call it an Horchata

Yelp
07/20/17 @ around 12:30pm Took business associate to try a local eatery called BrewBrew. The experience was very embarrassing & disappointing. Waited about 30 minutes to get ordered food that never arrived as they served 4 people ahead of us. Rediculous. Our simple order of 2 Italian sandwiches was simple, in comparison tho the others that ordered after us that included smoothies with their sandwiches and received there food before us. As my guest and I experience this pathetic service, we sit there sweating & watch others sweating while this establishment maintains is sauna like tempertures. (Coinsidently my guest is a general contractor and could not see any Air Conditioning vents anywhere) After 30 minutes we just left unhappy & disappointed with empty stomachs. Paid $20 & $5tip learn how much this place sucks. Would not recommend BrewBrew to any one. Poor service Poor unhealthy environment.

Yelp
Not very dog friendly. I often walk my dog in the park that's across the street from here and figured it would be great to just pop in and grab a coffee to go on the way back home. Was told they're allergic (yes literally) to dogs and shouldn't bring them inside unless service dog (even though I said I wasn't staying I just wanted it to go). After paying I was suggested to wait outside and they would bring me my order. Also had to ask for a receipt, they don't offer.

Yelp
Definitely just OK. I stopped by last week when I was looking for a quick café breakfast, because I prefer to patronize local whenever I can. I had been to Brew Brew before and I knew their products were good, so no risk. But I found the service really disappointing. I ordered tea and a quiche, and unfortunately sat with my back to the counter. After some time, I realized nobody had called out my order so I turned around and looked at the counter, and saw a beverage there. I asked the guy serving whether that was mine, and his answer was, 'I think so'. So I picked it up and waited for my quiche. That also took significant time, and finally I had to go ask for it. It too was sitting on the counter and nobody said anything. The guy actually had to ask the person from the kitchen whether the food was mine. Maybe that's the norm here, but I think it's fairly straightforward to ask for a name and call out when the order is up, or at least call out *something*. The guy behind the counter certainly did not seem to be excited about his job lol.

Yelp
The street parking on Diversey was free, which was seriously the best. I tend to drive a lot, so checking out coffee spots in the city can be a bit of a hassle when metered parking is required. It was pretty packed when I went on a Wednesday, so you might have to share a table with someone if you want to stay. I had one of their seasonal lattes - the grasshopper - and a pesto mozzarella sandwich. I enjoyed both. They have a variety of baked goods from Defloured Bakery and donuts from Gurnee Donuts. They use coffee from Counter Culture and I learned that the oat milk they use is housemade. There's free WiFi and it seemed like a great place to do work, but for some reason I had trouble accessing different websites. I think they might have a website blocker. It was frustrating because it made it hard for me to do work. Funny, it was also the same day that IG and FB were down (social media is part of my job) and so it was just a double whammy. When I looked around everyone seemed to be working fine, so it may have been just me who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yelp
So happy to have this place down the street. They have a ton of tea choices (key since I'm not a coffee guy), and they have a bunch of creative latte and drink flavors with an emphasis on herbs and floral notes. The pastries are bomb, especially the Ube donut! But I do have one warning/note: everything I've had here is super sweet, so go into it with your eyes open and you'll be fine. I wish I could only mark it down a half star for that. They also have decent breakfast and lunch choices as well. Great place to get work done, and the music selections are always dope.
google avatar

Josh N.

Yelp
I always try and stop in here whenever I can. I grew up in this neighborhood and this place popped up a little before I moved somewhere else. Great prices and great coffee. iirc the owners are from the area or at least around the area which is awesome and we've been needing a place like this for a long time. Staff is always super nice. Decor is super simple and straightforward just like their coffee menu. You guys always have my recommendation whenever anyone moves in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Brew Brew has all the makings of a good, cozy coffeeshop. I felt like I walked into an old friend's living room to catch up over a refreshing beverage. The barista who took my order was friendly and conversational -- not something you find at every coffeeshop. The cold brew that I ordered was on point as I sat down with my boyfriend to answer a few emails and converse before our flight back to San Francisco. Usually at coffeeshops, my earphones are on full blast to drown out my surroundings, but I actually really loved the music they were playing here. The vibe was welcoming and seemed like it was designed for folks to come in and get work done. There was an email-based "PrintWithMe" system that I had never seen before. So cool! At the same time, there were lounge areas if you're looking to get away from work and relax over an espresso. What a great way to end our trip to Chicago. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Brew Brew!

Yelp
Love the London Fog and the pastries. Clean, efficient and nice people. Love being able to support a local business!

Yelp
Nice place. Warm, clean, friendly, big windows on a corner overlooking the street and neighborhood park. Lots of dark wood and ceiling fans in this cozy coffee shop. A good selection of seating options: individual tables, long table which could seat 6-8 people, and a small lounge area with a simple sofa, coffee table, and lounge chairs. Laptop friendly with outlets available and overall quiet and calm atmosphere. I was there around 1pm on a Saturday and the place was mostly full. I had the lavender honey latte and a peanut butter and banana toast. Both were tasty and a good value. I found out about it on BrewPass. I'm glad I did, and I'll be back.
