It's been a while since we last visited Brewability and we hadn't yet been to their new location. One of our favorite local artists, Josh Blackburn, was playing and that was that. Dinner date planned.
Brewability & Pizzability, as their name implies, offers craft beers brewed onsite and well as a variety of homemade pizzas.
Their mission is amazing and as a social worker, I love their inclusivity. Brewability hires differently abled folks and uses a variety of innovative processes around their processes. This was the brain child of a special education educator and home brewer.
They offer a variety of ways of to order, the most common being by color code. This inclusivity extends not only to their staff, but also to customers. This is brilliant and makes ordering quick and easy.
I enjoyed a blueberry sour (Blue) and a house made seltzer (White). My guy had their IPA (Green) and their seltzer (White). He's not a seltzer guy but this one was so good. You can also up level your seltzer by requesting it with a scoop of sorbet.
We ordered a large 16" pizza, half Sweet Heat BBQ Chicken and half Green Chili Chicken. Their crust is a unique one - and so very good. It uses spent grains and is egg free, dairy free and vegan. It was probably my favorite pizza crust in a long, long time.
And, this new location was fun, offered massive tables, along with more intimate options and of course the bar, where we sat. Folks were amazing. They also live streamed Josh. He's a badass, if you haven't heard him play. Check him out.
They often have live music and lots of folks dancing, having a fabulous time. Great energy, friendly staff, good craft beer and yummy pizza. Fabulous night.
