Where To Eat Outside In Fort Worth - Dallas - The Infatuation

"Brewed is one of our favorite outdoor spots along Magnolia, featuring a cozy brick-top patio surrounded by roses and a fire pit for late fall night hangs. While their brewed items (coffee and craft beers) are great, their New American and Texas-inspired dishes hold their own too. And even though an entire section of the menu is devoted to waffles, Brewed isn’t just a breakfast or brunch place. Their daily lunch and dinner specials are fresh spins on classics - we’re partial to Wednesday’s chicken fried steak, but their duck fat fries are probably the best thing on the menu." - emily smith

Brewed was a solid experience overall, though parts of my visit were less memorable—which, to be fair, probably means it deserves another try. I can’t quite recall what I ordered or how it tasted, but one thing absolutely stood out: the biscuits and jelly were excellent. Warm, comforting, and done right—they honestly made up for the rest of the meal. If you go, try the biscuits no matter what. They’re the clear win and reason enough to stop by. The vibe and location work in its favor too. The surrounding area is cute, walkable, and has a lot of character, which adds to the experience. That said, parking can be tricky since it’s on a semi-busy street with limited street parking. Weekends get crowded, so expect a wait and plan accordingly. Not a blow-you-away first impression, but enough upside to justify a second visit—especially for those biscuits.

I don’t get why this place doesn’t have higher reviews, this is the best brunch I’ve had in DFW so far, and I was born and raised here. Service was great, the food was SO GOOD. Loved everything we ordered. Will return v soon

My sister and I stumbled upon this place while looking for a cafe in Fort Worth. Most breakfast spots in the area don’t have Wi-Fi, but BREWED does, so extra points go to these wonderful people. I was skeptical at first, but the food was PHENOMENAL. We had the Hot Chicken Cornbread Waffle and the Texas Breakfast with smoked bacon, eggs, and Serrano cheese grits. The jalapeño corn bread waffle and hot honey chicken paired very well together, and wasn’t too much heat. We had it with regular syrup instead of the blackberry syrup. The grits were very creamy and had a little kick to them. My eggs were perfectly scrambled and cooked just right. The bacon had the right amount of crisp and was thick, and the honey biscuits were fluffy, homemade, and felt like a warm hug. Bonus: the food was very reasonably priced. I WILL be back to try the other things they have on the menu.

To the manager on duty today, I understand you must move throughout the restaurant to perform your duties. However, while navigating the space, you bumped into me twice. Although you did say “excuse me,” the second incident was avoidable and made me uncomfortable. Additionally, when I entered the restaurant, I waited at the entrance to be seated but was not greeted or acknowledged. I eventually approached Emma, one of the supervisors, who was extremely helpful and professional—she truly turned the situation around. I ordered a gingerbread latte and was looking forward to ordering a meal. However, due to the lack of service upon entry and the uncomfortable interaction mentioned above, I decided not to stay and may consider returning on a weekday instead.

Google
Came here for breakfast with my friend. Never been here before , today way my first time. My server was “Matt” such a sweetheart, he explained the menu PERFECTLY to me since it was my first time coming here. I definitely would love to come back when I’m in the area to try other things on the menu like “Bread Pudding French Toast” . The atmosphere is open but quiet , very classic, but not to much either. I love it ! Food was awesome

Google
The deviled eggs we ordered were covered in MOLD! It was the most horrible sight I'd ever seen. I'm not sure how they missed something like that in the kitchen. It totally wrecked my appetite. The main courses were average at best. I wouldn't come here for the food, but to hang around and drink mimosas. To top it off, the coffee mugs were hand washed by a 5 year old it would seem like. The mugs were covered in grime and stains. Below you will see an arugula leaf from the plate with mold on it. The bigger plate was covered in even more mold. I didn’t get a chance to get a photo of the entire plate. Other photos include flys everywhere and dirty coffee mugs.

Google
The food, atmosphere and service were phenomenal. Personally, this is one of my top 3 brunch spots in Fort Worth. Our server Greyson was very attentive & had a great sense of humor. I would also argue his height is above average compared to most servers I’ve had in the DFW metroplex.

Google
Great little breakfast spot in an eclectic area. Parking is a challenge but it's Fort Worth. The fifteen minute wait not bad for a Saturday morning. Had the standard breakfast plate- eggs, sausage and bacon all excellent. Biscuits required a fork to eat but most home made biscuits do! Prices reasonable service was attentive.

Yelp
I visited Brewed in Fort Worth, Texas at 7 AM with friends after their work shift, and we were able to catch the happy hour special. They offered mimosas and other cocktails like margaritas at a great price, which was a delightful way to start the morning. The breakfast tacos and chicken biscuit were amazing and made for a great morning bite. I also tried the açaí bowl, which could use a bit of improvement. The restaurant might benefit from working on their healthy menu options. Overall, I enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Both the indoor and outdoor seating are pleasing and aesthetically pleasing. Customer service was also great, adding to the overall positive experience.

Yelp
My wife and I visited Brewed on a corner at 801 West Magnolia Avenue while in Fort Worth on business. After a workout at the gym, we were looking for a bite to eat. We were greeted immediately and seated. I had a traditional mimosa and asked the server about the Bucket of Love and Twist of Bacon. The Bucket of Love was just regular pork rinds. The Benedict Waffle had eggs over medium, not over hard as requested, and the ham could have been crispier. The rustic aesthetic outshined the food which is why I rated Brewed with 3/5 stars. The atmosphere was charming, and the service was prompt and friendly. While the food presentation was appealing, it didn't fully meet our expectations in taste. The restaurant's rustic and cozy vibe made for a pleasant dining experience, but we left feeling that the food could use some improvements to match the delightful ambiance.

Yelp
Pistachio latte was very good and not overly sweet. Kids enjoyed their hot chocolates. Started with the deviled eggs and they were pretty good, but next time we'll try something else. Waffles are served with warmed real maple syrup! Lox Benedict and fried egg sandwich was delicious. Service was friendly and quick even with the restaurant being busy on a Saturday. We had one child who wanted a side of fruit but only the strawberries and the kitchen accommodated that. Sausage is not on the menu as a side item, but you are able to order it. One thing to note: The restaurant is small and they pack the people in so space is limited and the noise level gets very high. Several times our waiter couldn't hear what we were saying, causing us to have to yell our order. Bring the headphones if your group has a sound sensitive person.

Yelp
Oh how the mighty fall. This used to be a great place with a unique menu and quirky ways of designating the tables by naming each table after a state. Also, the coffee was fabulous. Not so any more. The coffee was mediocre, the menu was a laminated cluttered mess, and the food was average. We had a lovely young lady give us excellent service and other that that , the experience was totally forgettable.

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday late morning. There was no wait. Our waitress was nice. I loved the set up in there ! Very cute and lots of photo opportunities! I ordered the chilaquiles with a side of fruit and the iced thai-licious! The chilaquiles had great flavor but I was thrown off by the soggy chips? I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to be. The description said tortilla so I imagined a taco situation. My coffee was very good but I expected it to come in a more aesthetically pleasing cup! Overall if I'm ever in Fort Worth again I may give it another try!
google avatar

Marica M.

Yelp
What a cute brunch spot! I came in with a friend on a Saturday morning and they had the interior all decked out in purple for a TCU game. There is ample amounts of parking nearby but I can see this posing a problem on a busy morning. We made a reservation a few days prior to coming and I'm glad that we did! They were busy. I ordered a latte and it was good; nothing too special that set it apart from other lattes I've had before. For my meal, I got the bread pudding French toast and my friend got the green Chile pulled pork hash. She said that her meal was good and that she liked it. I liked the bread pudding French toast as well, but was surprised that it only comes with 3 pieces! For marking a meal at $17, that seems a little steep. I would like to come back and try some other menu items here!

Yelp
After work, a group of us decided to come here (it was suggested by a colleague that lives in the area) and by surprise we walked into their Christmas pop up. It was decorated from top to bottom throughout the entire restaurant with Christmas decor. I ordered the Mexi-Cali avocado toast - I love fresh avocados (being from California) that the spread was underwhelming. I do wish that the toast was more dense - something was missing to make this dish be excellent. My boyfriend ordered the spicy burger- he said it was good. We ordered a pitcher of mimosas as well. The service was quick and food came out quickly. Overall, the food was okay and not memorable. The drinks were great and the decor was great.

Yelp
BE CAREFULL!! It's all good and your eyes will be bigger than your stomach. The chicken biscuits are huge and sooo tasty!
google avatar

Reg C.

Yelp
Carlie was a great server! She is very friendly and made good recommendations! I will definitely come back again!
google avatar

Gabriel V.

Yelp
Fun and clean place. Not the greatest customer service efforts in terms of being seated and friendliness of the staff, but I get it, they're busy. The food was all very good and is very unique and aesthetic, so high commends for that.
google avatar

Yelp
What a great brunch, lunch breakfast spot! I came to celebrate my birthday with a friend and since it is my birthday, I decided to try the French toast because it sounded like dessert. It was absolutely delicious- Yes I did eat dessert first !! The whipped cream is amazing. It has espresso in it and it is so creamy and delicious. Everything is made in house every day. We also tried the love in a basket which was bacon and pork rinds. It was a little different than we expected but it was also good. The bacon was absolutely delicious and meaty. There was lots of pork rinds, and we couldn't eat them. All did find out they were also made in house. . They also have a full bar and a happy hour from 7 AM to 9 AM but I don't think it's a good idea for me to day drink I got a latte and it was also good as my friend got the chai latte and loved it as well . They have a beautiful patio outback it's just over 100° in Texas so we will definitely be back when we can enjoy that patio

Yelp
This is an outstanding brunch spot on the east end of magnolia right in the heart of south main. Tons of delectable food options. My personal favorite is the bacon with a twist. And it is how it sounds, twisted bacon in aesthetic and in taste with maple syrup and brown sugar flavor. It's to die for. Delicious Irish coffee for the morning that has a great kick and tons of other robust entrees to choose from! The wait staff is very attentive and friendly and the furniture and layout is as Austin as it gets. It's a vibe for sure. Worth checking out!

Yelp
Lukewarm food every time. Snooty waiter this last time who spoke down to my teen. Very loud but pretty dining room. Drip coffee is undrinkable.

Yelp
This location was easy to find. They have free parking behind the building and plenty in the parking garage across the street (you do need to pay if you park in the parking garage) We went on a Saturday for brunch and we were seated quickly. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. I ordered an iced S'Mores iced coffee. It was good, but didn't taste like a s'mores. It tastes like a coffee with cream and sugar. The presentation was nice. The lox benny was delicious! I ordered a side of macaroni & cheese. THAT Mac n cheese was one of the best I've had in a while. I would come back just for that lol The lox Benny had smoked salmon, capers, egg and a delicious sauce with what seemed like pickled red onions. It was so good and filling. I had to take half home for later. It was a good portion. Everyone was super friendly and quick. The location was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I will be going back for sure!!

Yelp
Service was always lacking and hostess/admin has always been lacking forcing long wait times with indifferent service. Excellent cause just poor follow through!

Yelp
Wonderful brunch! My partner & I love to try new brunch places. This weekend we were blown away by our first visit to Brewed. The drinks, the food, the service (Jacob) all SUPERB. One of our newest favorite spots! Will be back soon. Loveee

Yelp
Worth. The. Wait. I wish this place would use the Yelp Waitlist that would make it a frequent stop for me. The service was friendly and available. The drinks were tasty and the food was just perfect.

Yelp
A Model of Hospitality! (and great food!) We showed up, all 13 of us, for a reservation to celebrate a birthday. Emily, the manager, was especially sensitive to seating us without much wait, and was very gracious in welcoming our party. Brittany served us with efficiency, patience and humor. Our ages varied from 2- to 90-years old, so the group was demanding at times. Still, our orders were taken quickly and delicious dishes - every one - were served piping hot and at [virtually] the same time. Care was taken to ensure the dishes were wonderful, and drinks were refreshed regularly. All the time, with smiles and pleasantry. Such hospitality was more than enough, but the GREAT food and specialty coffee drinks made this an especially joyous family event! Thank you, Emily and Brittany, and your excellent support team at BREWED! We're grateful for the wonderful memories you helped craft!
google avatar

Iliana E.

Yelp
This is such a hipster place! A gold mine for Instagram and all kinds of social media so if that's not really your kind of motivation then you'll be happy to know they do have an outside seating patio and it's beautiful! But to let's get to the food. The burgers are delicious and the waffles are amazing I recommend this place to have a small get together brunch with friends or family! Service is friendly and attentive! Definitely coming back soon! The reason I don't give it a 5 star is because it can be a little too crowded and loud during peak hours so if you want to avoid that go early!
google avatar

Rebekah S.

Yelp
I got myself the Texas breakfast plate and absolutely loved the grits so buttery and creamy absolute deliciousness! My drink was a pistachio latte (with oat milk) it was warm with a delicious nutty natural pistachio flavor
google avatar

Sarah T.

Yelp
This place was so awesome! We visited during the holidays so everything was super decked out for Christmas! Fantastic photo ops, friendly servers, great food and drinks, awesome prices. Will def be back!
google avatar

Jessica A.

Yelp
I decided to check this place out after seeing that they had a Christmas pop up. I'm so glad I did! The food was incredible and service was awesome. I tried the Texas breakfast and got my daughter some Christmas waffles. Everything was perfectly seasoned and well worth the visit. Since it is decorated, there was plenty to look around and enjoy including garland, nutcrackers and Santa Claus. I can't wait to come back after the season.
google avatar

Awna U.

Yelp
Cute, kind, and good food! My gorgeous husband had the candy bar latte with oat milk, our nieces waffle, and macaroni, cheese, and waffles they were happy! Our youngest one kept saying this is so good!
google avatar

Yelp
A delightful breakfast, great atmosphere and a wonderful outdoor seating area. I'd recommend the Chilaquiles...Corn Tortillas, Chorizo, Salsa Verde, Over-Medium Eggs, Crema, Pickled Red Onion, Queso Fresco, Avocado, Cilantro. Served with Serrano Cheese Grits. The flavor was fresh and bright. The Eggs were well cooked and the fresh avocado on top rounded the dish out. A nice surprise we're the Serrano cheese grits...wasn't expecting much and I'd ensure I have them again the next time I'm there. My wife had the avocado toast which was fair and she would not reorder in future visits. My daughter had the Texas breakfast and we were all impressed with the biscuit...very light and full of flavor...it almost had the texture of a focaccia bread. My daughter, a coffee drinker, believes that the pour over is as good a cup of coffee as you can get in the city and they have an extensive coffee menu. A bonus for us was the Bread Pudding French Toast...thick Slices of French Toast Sticks made from our famous New Orleans-Style Bread Pudding, Espresso Whipped Cream, and a Texas Whiskey Vanilla Cream drizzle on top. The bread pudding was served with warm syrup and made a great dessert to split and round out the meal. A great experience all around...and they take reservations!
google avatar

Andy Y.

Yelp
Great brunch spot! Interior: Huge and a lot of space for big groups too! The decor is nice and has a good natural feel to it! Feels very cozy and brunch Drink: Matcha Latte: Great drink selection and this latte looked super purdy lol Food: Chicken N Waffle: Great choice if you can't decide ! The syrup was so good and the waffle was crisp. Overall: Great vibe to brunch and had alot of seating available with quick turnaround and outdoor access as well! Service was quick !
google avatar

Andrea D.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place randomly. Will definitely be back. Good drinks, good food, great service.
google avatar

Jonathan D.

Yelp
Let's see was there anything we liked... honestly... no there wasn't. To start parking was horrendous and had to park in a dirt/muddy area. Upon walking in it was seat yourself and there was not enough silverware for the three of us. Once seated we were eventually greeted by a waitress who was not great at being a waitress. There was nothing on the menu if you're watching carbs and the items we chose were not good enough for a cheat day but we ate it anyway. We got a regular cup of coffee each and the reason I say "A" is because they never came back to refill it until we were getting up to leave. I suppose the ambience was fine but I would say that's the only thing good aboutthis spot. I do not under any circumstances recommend this restaurant especially if you're looking for a healthier option. Happy Fooding!!
google avatar

Liv W.

Yelp
Brewed has gone so downhill. The food is horrible-- lukewarm breakfast tacos on a mission tortilla. My sister's avocado toast had the thinnest layer of avocado spread (def not fresh) possible. Both of our sides of Mac and cheese were cold and the pasta was undercooked. I never send things back but they literally were so cold that the cheese was a solid. It also takes forever to get food out here. So disappointing.
google avatar

Sydney S.

Yelp
Expensively bland food. I would go back for the drinks. The atmosphere is pretty and offers plenty of space for large parties. However, the giant windows at the front of the restaurant make the building very hot without any air conditioning. It's hard to enjoy anything when you are nearly sweating. Overall, the service was good and food comes out quickly.
google avatar

thienly n.

Yelp
No idea why the ratings are so low because hands down best waffles in Fort Worth!! They have mac n cheese style chicken and waffle and the classic and this is all my family orders every time! We also love the bacon banana waffle so much!! The flavors are great, service kind and efficient, and the restaurant is super cute and unique with their decorations! Have been back many times and would recommend!!!
google avatar

Susan S.

Yelp
Perfect from start to finish. This morning I walked in to the most enjoyable staff I've encountered at a breakfast spot! From the hostess, to the food runner, to the beyond delicious Chilaquiles and amazing bartender (Jacob), I was beyond impressed. It's clear that the management takes care of their team. Make it a point to stop in but plan to grab a custom made coffee drink at the bar while you wait! It'll be worth it!
google avatar

Ryan V.

Yelp
Pretty won't go back. Server was not good. $70+ for 2 meals and 2 drinks because a mandatory 20% gratuity is ridiculous... not saying I wasn't going to tip but a mandatory $13 tip for a server with an nasty attitude and crappy overall experience is unreal. The food was good but based off the price gouge on tip and server I had, I'm okay eating somewhere else. My server got a nasty attitude with me when I asked about the 20% and she said its for tables over 6 people... there were 4 of us and a toddler LOL. But at the end of the day, it is what it is...
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
Brewed was on my list of places to try for brunch and I was so disappointed! The place is pretty and our waitress was nice but that's about it. The food was so bland and horrible quality. Not worth the price which was around $60 for two people. I left wishing I had picked another place so definitely won't be returning..
google avatar

Quinn N.

Yelp
This place is quite ok, I have mixed feelings. They have a great patio but our waiter didn't ask us whether we prefer to sit outside or inside, and so we were seated immediately indoors, and it's quite dark inside for some tables because the tables and the windows don't line up (hmm i wonder why). The coffee is very classic, not acidic and plenty of it so that's great. The golden turmeric tea was too sweet for my taste. The breakdown ingredients (milk, vanilla, cinnamon) do not have sugar so that came as a surprise. It's now no longer a healthy drink even though it's under healthy drink section. The dishes are classic, the grits were so good, to me it's a must have.

Bambi B.

Yelp
I was so disappointed. Called best brunch but I found the menu uninspired and not creative. We got seated right away but no server for almost 10 minutes. it wasn't really busy but we waited for our food for about 20 minutes. One of my eggs was broken, potatoes were lukewarm and no butter or jelly for the biscuit. Wecould never find our server. We never got a coffee refill even tho we asked. We won't go back.
google avatar

Isabel L.

Yelp
I can't tell you how many times I've been to Brewed and I've LOVED it every single time! The atmosphere is chill, the people are chill and the food is yummy! One of my favorite spots!!
google avatar

Michelle A.

Yelp
Food is delicious but the drinks are underwhelming. We had the cowboy coffee and Bloody Mary that I won't get again

Jordan C.

Yelp
I'm giving it five stars only because of the food because the service was absolutely horrible. we went in this morning for my cousins birthday. It was a party of four. I ordered the mixed berry Horchata. It was good. We also got the queso as an appetizer. Which was a nice surprise that it came with salsa as well and then I ordered the fried eggs sandwich and that was probably one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Server was kind of rude asked for straws multiple times and she wouldn't bring them so we ended up having to ask somebody else and my sister ordered gravy for her mail and didn't receive it and she let her know and she forgot to bring it out and she finally brought it. Other than that, the atmosphere was great.

Sam P.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was good...the waitress and the chef went above and beyond to make adjustment on a dish that was on the menu! I got to say every single thing that was on my plate was good I got to highlight the biscuits, Serrano has brown, waffles and egg omelette! Will go back!

Kimberly M.

Yelp
This restaurant is gorgeous. The food was amazing and Chris, our server, was absolutely fantastic. He was able to move our party to better accommodate us. He was busy, but we wouldn't have known it by how well he took care of us. I recommend the restaurant and you'll really love it if you have Chris as your server.
google avatar

Chanel B.

Yelp
I gathered here with a group of friends for brunch. I didn't get to see inside Bc of was late and walked right up to my friends outside. It was a pretty quiet place for brunch. There was no music outside and certain areas were shaded and u shaded. The mimosa's were good and the food was good too. It was different twist for chicken and waffles with the mac and cheese cooked into the waffle. Wait staff was very nice. Even took a group picture for us. I would return with my family.
google avatar

Kirsten C.

Yelp
I went for brunch and had the best time! I got there at 10 and there was no wait. It seems the crowd started rolling in around 10:30, and there was definitely a wait at that point. The hostess and manager were so accommodating helping me find a plug for my laptop at the bar. The batista hooked me up with a super cute and delicious oatmilk latte, and when my friend arrived we decided to grab a table and do brunch as well! I got the eggs Benedict over biscuits, which has a layer of bacon in between. So delectable and savory and reasonably priced! My friend got the waffles with Carmelized bananas and bacon. She loved them! The service was wonderful. Attentive and kind. The food was delicious and the location is stellar. Really, I cannot recommend this place enough!
google avatar

Janice W.

Yelp
we had a bridal shower on Sunday at 10:30am the place was packed service was awful and my breakfast was cold. It was a party of 17 and gratuity was added to bill , which is typical of large parties. Most waiters would remind people of this but many who attended did not understand this a tipped again. Half way through everyone paying i asked about gratuity informed everyone not to add an additional tip and the waitress became rude. i will not be back, there are too many other places that serve Brunch with a better atmosphere and food.
google avatar

Josephine L.

Yelp
The food was pretty good. The mac and cheese waffle was all the crispy cheese you want in a baked Mac and cheese. And the eggs Benedict pretty solid gravy and biscuits. The service was TERRIBLE though! Our server checked in two times, to take the order and for our bill. When we asked other servers walking by our table for something they ignored us because they weren't our server. We had to get up and walk to our waiter while standing around the bar drinking to ask for more stuff. Let's not also talk about him standing over you while he watch you out down the top for the bill. Not worth coming back here. Don't bother coming either!!!

Barbara H.

Yelp
This place is wonderful! Just get there and be prepared to wait, They will seat you as soon as they can! The food is Great and Staff is Great! We celebrate Birthday parties there and I see many larger groups enjoying the time together and the food also! It's Special because everyone is in a Great mood!

Corie B.

Yelp
A lovely establishment to visit with friends and family. I was there for brunch and ordered a poinsettia mimosa to start and was very pleased: plenty of champagne, orange liqueur, and a dash of cranberry juice. The food was hot and delicious as well. I will say we waited a while before we got our food, but it was worth the wait. Ambience was beautiful and I greatly recommend you try this place out with your favorite company.
google avatar

Connor P.

Yelp
Cool environment. Nice people. Service was smooth. Food was pretty sad. I ordered a gingerbread coffee, and there was no gingerbread. I ordered the chicken and waffles and the chicken was the most bland piece of fried chicken I've had in a long time. For the price, the food is extremely underwhelming. There are good things here because I tried others meals to see if mine was just that bad. So I can say you might have better luck with something else, but at least from my experience today, I wasn't a fan.

Yelp
Brewed is one of my favorite places for breakfast.... However.. the last couple months I'm unsure. I was going once or twice a week for the avocado toast and some good drip coffee, but they changed it up. Once, it was my favorite and I usually recreate what I liked at home. Now, the last three times, it seems like they use an ounce of avocado "spread" for two pieces of bread and the "nuts" are basically sesame seeds. I enjoyed it when it was a lightly smashed avocado and you actually received some pumpkin seeds and almonds.... I'd rather pay an extra dollar or two and get a quality meal than this joke. Anyways, everything else is tasty, that's why it's still 4*, I just hope this isn't a trend.

Yelp
Good food, been twice now, which says a lot on its own. Decorations are cute for Christmas.

Yelp
The Southside Benny was really good and filling. I traded out the grits for the hash brown casserole. Service was good too. The restaurant was a little warm inside. The temperature was maybe around 71 degrees. The background music was a vibe.
