Yelp
I created a Yelp account only for this experience, because it was just THAT bad...
I am not one to complain, but I must tell the experience I had here tonight. I enjoy eating at Brewster's occasionally and tonight was beyond a terrible experience. I dined with my husband, daughter, and grandson. The food was great, though it took a while to get because the place was very busy. Our waitress, Ashley, was such a doll. She was very polite, attentive, and a hard worker. This part of our experience was great. Now, here comes the terrible part, which is why I am rating only 1 star. Another server, whom I believe was named Lindy (?) was absolutely horrid. We could hear this waitress screaming, cursing, degrading, and even threatening to physically harm our waitress from the kitchen area. Not only that, she even screamed & cursed her TWICE right next to us as our waitress remained completely calm and professional. Mind you, there were also a couple other guests in the dining area who were completely taken aback and even took the time to complain to us. Our poor waitress told use that she had spent a couple hours in the emergency room earlier for 2nd degree burns when we inquired about the bandage on her arm. I felt so terrible for our server, Ashley, because she was working so hard all while holding her composure, which I can imagine, had to be very hard for her after such a rough day. I do not want to keep rambling, but I do need to mention that with my 20+ years of owning my own restaurant the extremely disrespectful waitress would have been fired on the spot for not being able to control her anger in such a way. I will not be coming back to Brewster's because of this. I am very disappointed because we do always enjoy our food and have always enjoyed the atmosphere until now. This is the by far the worst experience I have ever had in any restaurant and the worst behavior I have ever witnessed by a server. Extremely displeased. I will be letting my friends know of this experience. I do hope this waitress is reprimanded accordingly.
