"Those who lived in Austin before 2020 will remember the long reign of pizzeria Brick Oven. Attracting crowds of people for almost 40 years, the pizza spot became an Austin staple for being the only restaurant at the time to offer fresh pizzas made in a real wood-fired brick oven in the 1980s." - Sonia Garcia

Enjoyed a meal at this lovely Italian restaurant with friends and family. Most of out table had pizza and enjoyed it very much. I had the spinach stuffed ravioli. It was delicious. I would go back again.

Great pizza! They are generous with toppings and the wait staff are friendly. Good happy hour specials too.

This was the original Brick Oven. It has a nice atmosphere. Interior is very nice with charm. Food was respectable and came out fast.

I have only been to the parking lot to take photos of some art behind the building. However, the air around the restaurant smelled AMAZING and I definitely want to go back and try it.

Came here for dinner with a large group for a date event. A couple who we came with decided to pull up a table next to us to fit into our group. The manager quickly and sternly informed them "don't move my furniture." They offered to move it back, the manager declined and spent the rest of the night making comments under his breath when he had to squeeze past the tables. The service was horrible. My dates and my appetizer didn't arrive until after our meal and it was incredibly unappetizing. The spaghetti and meatballs were flavorless and entirely underwhelming. The prices were also ridiculous for what we got. The appetizer below is $8. I kid you not it's sliced bread with cheese and pepperoni on it. I don't understand. The spaghetti was $14 if I'm not mistaken. ***To make matters worse.*** These was a customer sitting on the patio drinking cat calling each and every one of our dates. He was aggressive, and was shouting insults at all of the men (including me) who responded to him. He looked like a regular but I can't be too sure. Anyway, horrible experience through and through. Burnt bottom but watery and tasteless top, that takes practice and total uncommittment. Well done. And it's crazy expensive in comparison to the disappointing result.
