If you're craving authentic Indian flavors, this place is definitely worth checking out. The food is rich in taste and truly captures the essence of Indian cuisine. One standout dish we tried was the samosa chaat - it was bursting with flavor and instantly brought back memories of India. The service is attentive and friendly, and the menu offers a wide range of vegetarian options, including an impressive selection of parathas. Whether you're a long-time fan of Indian food or trying it for the first time, there's something here for everyone.

Google
Never have I complained about a drink being too strong, but the pani puri shots were a bit much. Literally no other complaints about this place. Service is great, food is good. Did their lunch special today, it was a lot of great food for a good deal. Their regular menu items are also very good, but their indo-inspired cocktails are why you should be going!

We visited Bricklane in Jersey City and had a mixed experience. The appetizers — Paneer Tikka and Dahi Puri — were flavorful and well-prepared. For the mains, we ordered Paneer Matar and Dal Makhni, which tasted good as well. However, the entrées took an unexpectedly long time to arrive, which really killed the momentum and our appetite. While the food overall was decent, the long wait took away from the experience. A good one-time visit, but for the price there’s nothing exceptional that would make us rush back.

I ordered dinner from this spot via Uber Eats and went with the chicken keema pav. The dish came with four butter-toasted pavs—those classic soft Indian-style rolls—paired with a generous portion of keema bhaji. The keema was mildly spiced, leaning slightly on the greasier side, and while it wasn’t bursting with flavor, it was hearty and satisfying. I did feel like it was missing a fresh touch—maybe some cilantro or a squeeze of lime and definitely some fresh crisp onions would’ve brightened it up. A pleasant surprise: the meal came with a sweet treat (looked like a besan ladoo) and two kinds of chutneys on the side. Both chutneys were fresh and flavorful, adding a nice zing to the overall experience. Not mind-blowing, but a pretty good and filling meal for a casual dinner delivery.

This place is a gem in Jersey City. The staff is very attentive and always pleasant. Cannot ask for better service. The food is amazing and the kitchen is open well after midnight. The bar is nice and classy, creative cocktails. Also like it’s not too loud in here which makes for great conversation to meet old and new friends.

Google
This place is hands down one my favourite Indian restaurants in North Jersey. We got the Malai Kofta and Paneer Tikka Masala, both of which had very unique flavours and filled with spices. The apps are also nice, like the dahi puri and samosa chaat which are our favourites.

Google
Nice Indian restaurant in vibrant Grove Street, one of the good places for Indian food in Jersey City. We had Lacha Paratha, Garlic Naan and Veg Jalfrazi , Onion Paratha and everything met our expectations. It’s one of those places in Jersey City which is open till late 2am, and also has bar section, so a good place for all the late night hungers.

Google
I've wanted to go to Brick Lane for 20 years, since they opened their NYC location. I've read about their Phaal and have seen shows where this dish was featured as the spiciest curry anyone's ever eaten. I've tried Phaal at restaurants in Canada and at Indian restaurants that claimed that they could duplicate it, but nope. The Phaal at Brick Lane was indeed the spiciest. They have a Phaal Challenge where if you can consume the entire dish under 30 minutes, you're featured in their P’Hall of Fame. I'm the lightest and slowest eater and have never finished any dish, never mind under 30 minutes, so I opted to forego the challenge and just ordered the dish to be enjoyed at my pace. The spice level did not disappoint. It tasted like Dave's Insanity Sauce or capsaicin was used, in addition to the variety of chili peppers. My fellow diners tasted some of mine and two were immediately incapacitated by this innocuous looking dish. My son, who grew up eating extremely spicy food thought the Phaal made his extra spicy Vindaloo taste bland. Per the server, the chef wears a gas mask while preparing this dish to prevent inhalation of the noxious fumes. The plain and garlic Naan were great accompaniments to dull the pain. The Gymkhana Style Tomato Soup was noteworthy. It tasted like it might have coconut milk in it. My fellow diners quite enjoyed their Mango Lassi after trying the Phaal. The Vindaloo and Biryani were also excellent. I don't eat lamb, so I did not try the Lamb Shank Roganjosh, although our friend said it was also excellent. Will definitely go back to this restaurant. Might not order the Phaal again, so that I can try some of their other dishes, but then again, the spiciness of the Phaal is kinda hard to resist.

Yelp
Ambiance was great (music playing but not distracting and an appropriate volume). Staff was super kind. Was pleased with every item we ordered, which is a difficult feat! First time in and will definitely return. Great spot for if you have guests visiting town or want an easy spot to catch up with friends

Yelp
3 stars for food, 5 stars for service, atmosphere, and innovative menu options Came here on a double date on a Friday night. There was indoor and outdoor seating options and since it was hot outside we sat indoor with the AC. We had a reservation for 6:30 but there were a few empty tables around us. We had a complimentsry amuse-Bouche to start, a spiked mango lassi, and pani puri shots. I loved innovativeness of the drinks - mixing modern drinks with traditional Indian flavors. We also ordered a prawn curry and a chicken curry. Both were okay, a little too sweet and the portions were small for the price. The jalapeño cheese naan and rosemary naan and aloo paratha were yummy, and so was the chaat masala. Overall had a pleasant experience, but the flavors didn't really live up to the quality of the restaurant and the pricing

Yelp
Okay spot. Tikka was good, sweeter side but enjoyable. the beginning complimentary apps were good. Would skip the biryani, it was nothing to write home about. big portion though. Service took a while considering it was empty, but they were kind none the less.

Yelp
As a hungry vegetarian, I was very pleased to come here for Easter brunch. OMG, I am in heaven and we ordered from the buffet meal available only on weekends. High level * Price is right!!! You get so much for the price including naan!! * Food is so fresh. * Made on the spot - these little appetizers - are delicious! * It includes Chai as well. LOVE IT. * My friend had the flesh dishes and he ate it all. * We got a little mint at the end with our receipt. * The Gulab was delicious - these are these tiny little carb balls in syrup. * Service was attentive. I am looking forward to coming back here when I am not dieting.

Yelp
We have been coming/ordering from Brick Lane for a while because it's consistently delicious. They recently added a brunch buffet from 12-4 on weekends and omg. The menu changes every week--today the theme was Guri Padwa. At least half the buffet options are vegetarian. There is self-serve masala chai, and ample salad ingredients. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. We always have a great time and will definitely keep coming back.

Yelp
Awesome place. Sunday brunch was really affordable and the food was high quality. Would recommend.

Yelp
We didn't realize this was an Indian restaurant until we sat down but it was as still a good lunch of chicken kabob platter & cheese. We ordered two (there were two of us) and we really only needed one. The service was very slow. But it as a nice lunch.

Yelp
I've been coming here many times since arriving in Jersey City in 2016. This last time there was the best yet. I came with my mom and step dad for my mom's birthday as she is a vegetarian who loves Indian food. She got the Chana Masala and Manchurian soup, my step dad the Biryani and Manchurian soup, and I got an order of the London Samosas (which I always love) and the chicken jalfrezi. Everything was delicious. My mom said that her meal was her favorite that she's ever had. Also, what set it apart was how kind the waitress was. She went out of her way to explain the dishes, how to eat them, and what went into them. 5+++ stars for her kindness and attentiveness. Also, they played a birthday song for my mom and brought a lovely coconut dessert. It was all just so lovely of an experience.

Yelp
Needed a late night spot and stumbled upon this gem. The food, drinks and service were amazing!

Yelp
Fancy Indian dining in JC. This restaurant has a nice ambiance and great food. They give you papad and tomato soup shots. The soup was delicious! We had the chicken kheema pav which was really good and resembled pav bhaji. Very unique dish. Chicken tikka masala was pretty standard. Drinks were great! I would give it 5 stars but the service was slow. Our appetizer and entree came out together and pretty late into our seating.
google avatar

Yelp
this review is purely based on take out order. Food was warm after a 15 mins walk home. We ordered veg biryani, daal makhani, hariyali chicken appetizer. Taste was good, portion sizes were decent. food is on the pricey side, so I expected decent quality which it didn't fail. Only complaint I have is veggies in the biryani tasted slate. Many restaurants do that and thats where they lose the customers. if you offer veg biryani, dont compromise on the veggies!!! I would have given this a 4 star except for this issue
google avatar

Yelp
It's our go to spot in downtown JC area. They have consistently delivered with great food and friendly service. Its on higher end on with cost but we feel like quality usually keeps up with it. Cocktails with Indian twist are a winner and so are their curries and breads. Will recommend to anyone in the area for a good meal. Their lunch specials are a steal too for what you get

Yelp
We have been visiting Bricklane for many years, I think since they opened here and have always liked them for their food quality, ambience and service - but they have upped their game are now EVEN MORE AWESOME. The reason is their weekend brunch buffet - unlimited portions of yummy food that will leave you wishing you had more space in your tummy. The Crown Jewels are their chat counter, worked by Tanashvi who creates gol gappe with the patience and skill of an artist. So yummy. Her colleague Sindhu also provided exceptional service - offering freshly prepared chicken tikka for our friends (we are vegetarian so can't comment on it) and freshly made garlic naan and roti (breads). Both of them swiftly cleared our plates keeping the esthetic beauty of our table and the restaurants pretty ambience just perfect. In terms of value for money, just their chat counter and dessert choices are enough to more than recover value for the buffet price which is quite reasonable for the spread at $26. All in all, the four of us had an awesome time enhanced not only by food quality but also superior responsive service by Tanashvi and Sindhu.

Yelp
Im not pregnant but i drive an hour to eat this 3 times a week. The Tofu Sizzler is absolutely amazing and i crave it so much, especially as a vegan! The service is amazing when they are not extremely busy and the vibes inside are really cute. Definitely try sitting on the more inside section when its cold because the breeze comes through. Will never get over this place!!!

Yelp
Glad there is atleast one Indian place on Newark Ave. Ordered Samosa chat. It came in a decent portion size. Though it was not authentic, it was filling. Service was okay since we did not have water glasses provided unless we asked for one. The outdoor seating was good. Okay to check out once.

Yelp
Had my daughter's reception here end of June for a small crowd. Can't say enough about the great customer service we received from their wonderful staff and I mean all their staff. From the moment we first called to inquire we felt very welcome. We had food tasting before the event and I have to say their food is of high quality in taste. Thanks Rohit for food tasting. My most and many thanks goes to Nandini. She is the person who coordinated every little detail for our event and attended us personally. She is such a sweet person Thankyou Nandini for your hard work and dedication.

Yelp
I'm so glad it's in my neighborhood, though I'd wish it was not on Newark Ave (and maybe exchange place with a view). The food here is great, the few times I've had a sit-down here the service has been good too (the staff was very friendly). I continue to order from here, pick-ups are super smooth too.

Yelp
We went there for a friday dinner and it is probably one of the better indian restaurants in the area. The place is well designed, has a nice bar area and ambient lighting. We were seated in the back where its a little wider and prefer that over the front. The service is nice and our server was very helpful. She got us some tomato soup and papad on the house. She even got us seconds on the house. I got the vegetable tawa, malai kofta and tandoori roti while my husband wanted to try fish and chips. I did laugh at him for trying out fish and chips in an indian restaurant :). My food was great, the veg tawa was very spicy and nicely complimented the mildness of the kofta. They also kept well as leftovers so i would recommend that when you go, get one spicy and one mild dish to balance each other out. My husband's fish was well cooked but he was disappointed with everything else. The fries were crispy, the tarte sauce felt like it was from a jar, the mushy peas were more like a soup and the baked beans were nothing special. I would say in his defense that they do call themself a british indian restaurant and if they have fish and chips, they should do it right. I probably would have given it a 3 star due to lack luster fish and chip however the service and ambience made it a 4. Do come here if you are craving a sit down indian meal.

Yelp
The first time I came here was for a Yelp elite event and I finally made it back to try it on our own. We got the the following items: Lamb bhuna came with rice - the lamb was tender, sauce was spicy and the portion was pretty big. Tandoori chicken - this came out on a sizzling platter with lots on onions and sauce. Chicken was moist and charred nicely. Sesame naan - soft and flakey with lots of sesame Mango lassi - a classic to cool down the spicy lamb Overall a good dining experience and of the Indian we've tried in JC this has been the best.

Yelp
A decent but pricey Indian restaurant in the heart of downtown JC. The interior decor was beautiful, it was elegant and cozy. We were served complimentary papad and tomato soup that tasted like sambar, which I really liked. Our server was helpful when deciding what drinks to order and I ordered the god save the rani cocktail and it was refreshing but quite strong! Among 4 people, we ordered garlic naan, and paneer tikka masala and malai kofta at a medium spice level. Both dishes were great, not too spicy but still packed with flavor. It was a little on the pricey side for Indian food but I'd go back again!

Yelp
Just discovered this fantastic Indian restaurant! Casual with a bit of elegance. Romantic lighting, superior service was very friendly and polite. The food is excellent! Nan bread made to order. All ingredients were fresh. AND a fantastic bar as well. Their version of the cocktail Mule is one of the best drinks I've ever had, and presented perfectly and carefully. The prices are very fair as well. We will go there again very soon!

Yelp
This place is pretty new, it was my first time going on a Sunday afternoon. The menu is quite diverse, I have an Indian heritage so very familiar with the menu options. Overall great service (though you get the new restaurant vibe you know they are just figuring things out). Started the meal with papadam and 3 chutneys which is offered as you seat. I personally loved the onion chutney - but the sweet and coriander ones are also incredibly fine. The nan is clay oven crispy and lots of fluff (no ghee or oil at all, so a bit dry), but still nice. Large portions, we both ordered the mango fish curry, which was a special on the menu and it a bit sweet (of course), but overall very well prepared. I look forward to more chances to try other menu options. This place is a very welcome addition to the downtown jersey city's exotic food culture!

Yelp
1st time experience at the restaurant was great but this time when we went, we were very disappointed. The food was subpar this time or maybe the items we ordered were not good. We got lahsuni chicken (garlic chicken) , which was very tomatey and very little garlic. We also ordered haryali chicken tikka. This dish was not even well salted, let alone any other seasoning. It also had a bitter burnt taste. Bhuna chicken was okay but nothing special. The two items we liked were garlic naan and goat cheese vada. The cocktails were also extremely disappointing because they were very expensive and didn't have much alcohol in them. It felt like we are drinking a very sweet juice or dessert. Their prices are quite high for this quality of food. After our previous experience we were very excited to go again but were met with disappointment.

Yelp
This is the best option I know of for Indian food closer to Grove Street, although if you're looking for the best, keep going down Newark Ave to Journal Square. Visited late on a weeknight for dinner, taking advantage of the outdoor seating on a beautiful night (hence the dark photos!). We stuck to apps and shared everything - overall, enjoyed the meal - service a little slow, but not in any way that was a problem for us. Highly recommend the paneer tikka tandoori - comes out sizzling, with the proper big chunks of flavorful paneer and vegetables. Make sure you squeeze that lemon over the whole plate before serving! Imli baingan was also very good - the eggplant chips were perfectly thin and crispy. I would prefer less yogurt and chutney however, as that made everything heavy and dominated the taste rather than complimenting. Paneer pakoras and onion kulcha were standard - but would suggest they serve both with at least 2-3 chutneys or raita to keep it interesting. The lassuni gobi had a delicious tangy tomato sauce and the cauliflower was cooked well, but the batter was too chewy and not crisp enough. Aloo chaat was not good - all potato and no lentils or crispy papdi bits (which makes it a chaat!). The cocktails were surprisingly good for an Indian restaurant, but would ask about how sweet drinks are if you're sensitive to that - the Cheeky Bandar wasn't sweet, but the Rasmalai Martini definitely was dessert-level sweet. I will go back to try more things from the menu!

Yelp
The restaurant is spacious with lovely decor (we sat upstairs but there's also a downstairs seating area). The staff are excellent, very courteous and welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. The food is British style Indian so some of the dishes will be different from the ones you find on traditional Indian restaurant menus. Dinner started with complimentary poppadoms and a demi-tasse of tomato soup which was a nice touch. We then had Onion Bhajis and the London Samosas to start. The Samosas were excellent, the Bhajis were very tasty but not as light as I was expecting them to be and a little overcooked. We would definitely order the samosas again but probably not the Bhajis. For the main course we had the Meat Sizzle Plate. It had various marinaded chicken pieces, lamb chops, and some Chicken Sheesh (sausage). We also did the $6 upgrade and got an excellent Naam bread and some curry sauce. The meats were good, the Tandoori chicken was the winner for us. The Sheesh was good but it did have a few very spicy spots in it that caught us by surprise. I wasn't fond of the lamb, as the marinade was a little sweet and it was cooked through - I should have asked for it to be less cooked - but overall it was a good dinner and we will be back soon. They also have a good selection of beers and cocktails. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service and atmosphere.

Yelp
Disappointing Indian food at high prices. They did not ask what spice level we wanted and everything ended up being too spicy for us. The pani poori had undercooked and under seasoned potatoes with way too much tamarind sauce, making it overtly sweet.

Yelp
The food is excellent. The interior design is on point. And the service is great. We had the Lassuni Gobi, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Saag Paneer, with garlic naan and plain basmati rice. Unfortunately, however, the restaurant is not 5 stars in my book for a couple of (somewhat superficial) reasons. Firstly, the location is fine/whatever, definitely not in a trendy spot. That sin could be overlooked, but secondly and majorly, the outside appearance of the establishment leaves a lot to be desired; frankly it looks run down. The sunken-in and fraying red awning gives off "we don't care" vibes and doesn't encourage one to venture further inside. This lackluster exterior design definitely doesn't reflect the lovely scene inside, nor does it do justice to the prestige and history of this restaurant. I honestly feel they're overlooked by many potential customers because of this. On the bright side, because they're so empty, the staff are very attentive!

Yelp
The complimentary mushroom soup served prior to my meal was a nice touch. Decent food and very welcoming ambiance at this downtown JC Indian bistro.

Yelp
Love this addition to downtown Jersey City! The space is beautiful inside. I didn't realize it was so big. We walked passed it so many times since it opened, I was glad we finally had a night to stop in. For the table we ordered we started with the Goat Cheese Dumplings and Samosas. Both were delicious, but the dumpling stood out for me. If you're there with a group, they're both a good size to share. We also ordered garlic Naan - make sure you order the garlic Naan! It is so good. I'd go back to visit for this bread alone. I had the Chicken Tikka for my main. Had I known it was going to be so large, we would have shared. The portions are huge! You definitely get the value for your money. The only downside was they weren't serving cocktails that night we went. It sounds like this was a temporary thing. Not sure why, but only wine was available. The bar area is really large. Would love to stop back even just for a drink!

Yelp
I recently came here with my family and had a great time. One of our servers was Chan and he was wonderful! I ordered a few drinks that were off menu and the bartender made them wonderfully. We ordered a sampling of appetizers and some entrees. I really enjoyed the keema samosa, chicken tikka masala and the rice that came with it, and the garlic naan (so garlicky, so good). If you're in the area and love Indian food or want to try it for the first time, this is the spot.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here to satisfy a quick chaat craving and it did get satisfied but the customer service is slow. Love the location and ambience. I got the samosa chaat and the restaurant smelled really good with the Indian spices. Will return back for a good brunch!

Yelp
Delicious, clean, modern Indian restaurant. Very pricing ! ($6 for a naan) Staff are all from Indian with traditional dishes served. If you want chicken Tikka masala make sure you order from the Curry Section not the tandoor section. Dishes were nice would return if in area

Yelp
As you step into Brick Curry Lane, you are greeted by a warm and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant's interior is tastefully decorated, combining modern elements with traditional Indian accents, creating a pleasant and comfortable space. The soothing background music adds to the overall ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The menu at Brick Curry Lane showcases a wide variety of Indian dishes, ranging from classic favorites to innovative creations. Whether you are a fan of vegetarian or non-vegetarian cuisine, there are plentiful options to choose from. We started our meal with the flavorful Samosas, crispy pastries filled with a savory potato and vegetable mixture, or the Paneer Tikka, grilled cottage cheese marinated in aromatic spices. For the main course, the restaurant offers a range of curries, biryanis, and tandoori specialties. The Chicken Tikka Masala is a standout dish, with succulent pieces of chicken cooked in a creamy tomato-based sauce that is rich in flavor. The Lamb Rogan Josh, with its tender meat and aromatic spices, is another crowd-pleaser. Vegetarian options like the Palak Paneer, a creamy spinach and cottage cheese curry, are also highly recommended. The prices at Brick Curry Lane are reasonable, offering good value for the quality and quantity of the dishes. Portions are generous, making it ideal for sharing and trying a variety of flavors. The service was also friendly and the staff was useful by providing us with useful information.

Yelp
Pros: Great service, diverse staff, nice tables/ outdoor space on Grove, drink was really good. Food was good, not the best Indian food I've tried but also better than the worst I've had. 4/5, good, not excellent, not okay (for tikka), lamb/ keema samosa was just ok, wouldn't repurchase. But I'm also not a huge fan of any of the lamb or chicken samosas I've tried over the years so take that lightly. Cons: Though I'm not big on meat samosas, outside of this, samosa was also kind of crispy / tough but wasn't bad. Could've been taken out a minute sooner is all. Pretty expensive for what it's worth in some ways but glad I tried the place overall and knew this sitting down. Just feel like Clove Garden is way better for less. But nice for the table view & drink, though with the price unsure if I'd go again. Food runners were on it with getting things out & on being full hands out but not really on top of clearing tables/ being fulls hands in. I'd often have to wave someone down to clear my dirty stuff no longer being used. Not sure if it's a perception thing & they see it as not wanting to bother ppl like some restaurant staff do but I'd rather have a clean table and deal with someone stopping by more often, than to have privacy in a table filling with dirty dishes. Waitress herself was super slow, rest were moving quick besides with clearing dishes and I think that may just be how they were trained. Tho this could be pushed.

Yelp
Had another great dining experience! The staff is friendly and our waiter, Hemanth was incredibly attentive and had an infectious smile. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and tables well situated. The food was authentic and delicious. Nice size portions. I highly recommend Brick Lane!

Yelp
Brick Lane has built a name for itself over the years for offering up fairly authentic British-style Indian cuisine at locations in Manhattan and Montclair. Needless to say, I was pretty thrilled when they opened up on Newark Ave. Brick Lane's claim to fame is their wide arrays of curries, ranging from creamy and mild korma to well spiced tikka masala and fiery vindaloo. All that pales in comparison to the daredevil phaal: a curry spicy enough that it boasts its own challenge (finish a bowl in half an hour, get a photo on the wall + a free beer + a certificate proclaiming you a curry monster). My girlfriend and I dropped in on a Tuesday night. Having mastered the phaal challenge in NY years ago and not wishing to mortify my date, we each went with vindaloo (hers lamb, mine paneer) and an order of garlic naan. The vindaloo was sweltering but immensely tasty, heavy in garlic and spices and not overwhelmed by vinegar. It was made all the better with a blast of toasted garlic from the naan. If you have a serious craving for serious spice, Brick Lane is a must do

Yelp
We lived in Manhattan and ate Indian food every week and after we moved to jersey city we had a hard time finding something similar to our usual favorite spots. Brick lane curry house is hands down the best Indian food in jersey city. The service is wonderful and the presentation is as as lovely as it tastes. We are and will continue to be returning customers!

Yelp
The food is delicious here. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the curry was super rich and creamy. I could not get enough of it and was eating it by the spoonful with my rice and using the naan to dip it in the curry. The chicken was tender and flavorful and the rice was nicely seasoned. The variety of naan is also a nice touch because it's always nice to have options. The place can get crowded during peak times as expected. I was lucky to go one night (Sunday) where the crowd was not too big and we got a nice table in the back. The prices are a tiny bit more pricey than normal but I guess that's the case with all restaurants Post-COVID.

Yelp
The service was very good! Tandoori chicken wasn't fully cooked, not much taste! Won't go back again

Yelp
Server did not recommend food, and inform about the spice level. Food was too spicy. Also she wants us to order more saying, "our order portion is not big" but it was good amount of portion, which resulted us to order more and take everything as left over. She could have given genuine advice. Also, food was just ok. Samosas were over cooked and hard. Biryani was not flavorful, just spicy. Curries were greasy n spicy. Naan was good. Ambience was good.

Yelp
This place was amazing, I would give a 6th star if I could. We came in randomly right after my sister's graduation and were pleasantly surprised. Our servers were very attentive and were able to guide us through the menu. I highly recommend their mango lassi.

Yelp
Easily made my list of top Indian spots in the area! The flavors of the food were top notch and some of the most unique drink choices I've ever seen. Definitely get the rasmali martini! You won't get disappointed by the dessert drink! And the hospitality is absolutely first class. Some of the nicest waiters I've ever met. Definitely coming back here again

Yelp
I have ordered from Bricklane and dined there as well. Shipping was quick and every dish came neatly packed in separate containers with no spillage. Likewise, dining here was also a pleasant experience. They have a courteous and friendly staff. Along with that, the setting is quaint and inviting. Once we were seated they welcomed us with a complimentary hot and creamy tomato soup. It was delicious ! Guests dining at the next table requested if they could get a second helping of the soup (they didn't find it on the menu) and the staff graciously offered another helping on the house. Food wise, I think their chicken tikka masala is phenomenal. Garlic naan was airy, light, flavorful and elevated the taste of your curry. Complimentary (if you order a curry) jeera rice with peas is garnished with fried onions and is very comforting. I also tried Malai Kofta and it was quite good. I was disappointed with Goan fish curry - it was lacking in flavor and the texture was off. My partner set that aside after the first morsel and didn't want to give it a second chance. A lot of guests there ordered tandoori platter and I am looking forward to it next :) Docked a point because I wasn't blown away by any other dish than Chicken Tikka Masala and it is bit on the expensive side.

Yelp
Very underrated, very family friendly, and very delicious! I don't often seek out Indian restaurants, but this place has been a pleasant surprise.

Yelp
I'll start this off by saying I have not stepped foot in Brick Lane Curry House but they have become a pandemic favorite of mine since they first opened. No lie, I've probably ordered in a good 15+ times from here. The Tikka Masala is always a home run. The amount of chicken can vary and the taste can also vary, but it's always a sure bet. The Saag Paneer is another favorite - just know I've gotten some versions that are extremely spicy and some that are not - this dish has varied more so then any other dish I've ordered here. I've had almost every curry on the menu and they are all honestly great. The Lababdaar is a recent favorite. Lastly, the veggie samosas are great and better than the beef. The naan is always a favorite - garlic is great and my favorite but truffle or plain are also good if you want to change things up. They have lunch specials which have perfect portions especially if you are looking to try them out.

Yelp
Firstly, the service was great - Saloni explaining in detail the special Holi dishes. She was very welcoming and offered some lovely recommendations. The poori was a great suggestion and the paneer appetizer a big hit. Also, the nut/cardamom drink was a perfect way to start the meal. This restaurant is a wonderful addition to the pedestrian plaza.
