Denver’s 26 Most Iconic Dishes

"Word of this salad has spread far and wide since its invention at Boulder’s OAK at Fourteenth in 2010. First the togarashi-seasoned mixture of baby kale, shaved apple, candied almonds, and parmesan in lemon vinaigrette popped up at OAK’s now-closed RiNo follow-up, Acorn; then it made the menu at their fast-casual sibling, BriDer, gaining ever more followers along the way. Rarely has such a simple dish made such a splash." - Gigi Sukin, Ruth Tobias

OMG I loved this place. Service was excellent, super nice people. Food delicious 😋 and my apple cider cold and yummy. We also ordered a chicken sandwich and a chicken Alfredo pasta, so good that didn't make it for the picture.

This was a great spot to happen upon! I loved that they had some real food with smaller portions on the kids menu because I have one kid that will eat anything, just not much of it. He had the rotisserie chicken and Mac n cheese. They also had a great grilled cheese which my picky kid enjoyed. I had the meatball polenta bowl, fabulous. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken which was crispy, juicy and tender but not very hot. With a beer for him and a house made ginger beer for me, our total was $80. The kids and I all have enough left over for lunch tomorrow. Oh and we got one of their famous cookies and it was as delicious as advertised!

Google
Dropped in while we were in the area, and boy were we impressed! Sat at the bar, although they have a nice patio area. Quality cocktails with fresh and pure ingredients, and they have their own house sodas and ginger beer. I don't even like Moscow Mules and it was absolutely refreshing!Won't order it anywhere else. The food was also so fresh, wholesome, filling, and absolutely delicious. I only wish I knew how to make some of this at home! The brussel sprouts were the best I have ever had, and the falafel sandwich was large and mouthwatering, with fresh cucumbers and a deliciously spicy pepper spread. My partner had their chicken wings, which were gone all too fast! For how quickly it was ready, I am shocked at the proficiency of the kitchen. Bella gave us fantastic service. Please do yourself a favor and stop in to experience it for yourself! Well done, Brider.

Google
How this place has this good of reviews is beyond me. The portion size of my $16 salad was criminal and the chicken was old, hard, and grey.

Google
My family and I had a fantastic experience at Brider. I drive by Brider every day and was eager to give it a try. They greeted us with warmth and positivity when we arrived. The food was unbelievable as well! I had a meatball sandwich, brussell sprouts, and sweet potato fries! Definitely a top 3 meatball sandwich I’ve ever had! I’m excited to come back to Brider.

Google
this is my first time here. I came because my children school had a fundraiser. This establishment was kind enough to help out. I enjoyed the two piece rotisserie chicken, serve, brussels sprouts and mac & cheese. I also ordered a side of shrimp and falafel. I was told this is the first time on the menu for this item. I gotta say it was delicious and I plan on being back.

Google
It is a trendy little restaurant and bar concept with a limited counter-order menu, indoor/outdoor seating, and fantastic food. Food is most important at the end of the day, and everything we tried on the menu, including the sandwiches and salads, was unusually good. They offer a variety of canned and bottled drinks, coke/diet coke, some specialty sodas, many beers on tap, and cocktails. The restaurant is cute but forgettable; the patio looks like a great time when the weather is nice. The tables inside have a couple of problems; they are too tall, so the distance between the chair and the table height makes you feel awkward. Also, the tabletop has a finish that feels generally "sticky," which you never want in a restaurant. Still, the food is great and the other issues are relatively minor; that makes this a can't-miss.

Yelp
Grabbed this to-go for dinner last night. Was hesitant because nothing on the menu was jumping out at me but I'm stoked I went with my gut and followed through. You order at the front and the employee was very friendly and patient with my indecision on what to order. The Nashville chicken sandwich was amazing. Probably the best I've had in Denver. Well balanced, slight spice, and it didn't fall apart! Will order again. The sweet potato salad was bright and refreshing - the dressing they use is fantastic. I'd might recommend adding protein to it to liven it up more. The fried rice was great too. Love the edition of the kimchi and the fried egg. Great side dish to add to an entree or sandwich.

Yelp
Overall, this place had a great location, seating area and menu. The chicken sandwich was very good, however it was pretty light on the chicken. The meat on the sandwich was also pretty dry, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The salad had a similar vibe, being very light on the avocado. The dressing was very spicy, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. Service was quick and friendly. I will have to give this place another shot.

Yelp
Went here for dinner last week with a friend. When I first arrived I let them know I was waiting for someone. She showed up a few minutes later. We then waited over 10 minutes for someone to seat us. All the seats outside were taken so we sat inside. There were a few other tables seated as well as people at the bar, so it was not super busy. The positives: The food was really good. I have been here for happy hour before, but had not got the chicken. We ordered a 1/2 chicken with Brussels sprouts, side of sweet potato fries and the couscous salad. It tasted great and we really enjoyed it. The negative: The service. Our server came to the table right away before we even had time to look at the menu. They came back a few minutes later and we ordered some drinks, but weren't ready to order food yet and asked for a little more time. Our drinks arrived quickly. After receiving our drinks our server never came back again to take our food order even though we told her we planned on ordering food. We waited 25 minutes and weren't having any luck flagging anyone down, so we ended having to go up to the bartender and ask for someone to take our food order. We ordered our food about 20 minutes before they closed. By the time we got our food it was 7:55pm and they close at 8:00pm. It was very apparent the staff wasn't super happy as they put the chairs on tables all around us. We felt pretty pressured to finish up and leave. I get that we were there after closing, but if they would have seated us when we arrived and taken our food order in a timely manner we would have been out of there before 8:00pm. I will probably be back for happy hour, but likely not for a sit down meals.

Yelp
Finally got to try this place out. I work down the street and it is delicious! There were multiple items I wanted to try from breakfast foods like juevos rancheros to chicken and meatball sandwiches. I went with the meatball sandwich and it was so good! The service was fairly quick, the place was clean, and they have Gatorade in a can. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
What a fantastic lunch this was at Brider! Love the environment and the dedication to scratch made, fresh food, at a very reasonable price. They have options running the gamut from super healthy to indulgent. Speaking of indulgent, they have a sign that Yelp named them the top chocolate chip cookie in all of Denver. While I am not from Denver, and haven't had lots of chocolate chip cookies there for sure, I can absolutely say this one was one of the best I've had in my life. So, it surely has to be up there. My meal at Brider consisted of their french dip sandwich, and a side salad (which was very well done, lots of fun ingredients), which the owner highlighted as one of his favorites. The french dip was a really big sandwich. The bread was excellent, the meat juicy and plentiful, and of course the dipping gravy just gives it that savory pop. I was tempted here by so many excellent options on the menu, so I would probably try something else next time but... first timers, this would be a great choice for you. I loved Denver, and can't wait to visit again. When I do, another lunch at Brider is probably on deck!

Nikki U.

Yelp
My husband and I had lunch here for the first time today and it was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. We tried both the French dip sandwich and the meatball sub - they were both served on a delicious bread with just the right amount of crunch. One of the best French dip sandwiches we've ever had! And the sauce on the meatball sub was so tasty. Also, they had a sign up saying their chocolate chip cookie was voted best of CO so we had to try it - and it truly was the best I've had at any restaurant or bakery!! Cannot wait to go back to this gem of a restaurant! Wish there was one closer to where we live, but this place is worth the hour drive!!

Yelp
My partner and I stopped by during happy hour from 3-6 pm and it was such a good deal!! We got fries, brussel sprouts, grilled cheese, and 6 wings for $20. All of the food was great, especially the brussel sprouts. They had drink deals as well. Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Got the Huevos Rancheros bowl and enjoyed it thoroughly. Dude at the counter was awesome and helpful while patiently taking care of us. It's a cool spot in a nice, prime location. Go and enjoy.

Yelp
Hands down, best wings I've ever had. I think they were a special because I didn't see them on the menu. Perhaps this was one of those unicorn moments I'll never get to experience again, but I'm grateful those tasty morsels ended up in front of me. If you get to experience the wings, just do it and don't think twice. This is a super casual, incredibly delicious lunch spot. I had the Wagyu French Dip and a side salad with a glass of rosé. I opted to eat every bite even though I was full because it was just that good. We were able to snag a table on the patio which made it even that much better. This is a seat yourself establishment and they had plenty of room for big parties (8-10 is ideal but you could probably get away with 15+ if it's not super busy). Plenty of paid parking lots both covered and not if you can't find street parking or plan to be in the area for longer than 2 hours. This part of town deserves to be explored, but first, fill up on some tasty BriDer before galavanting through The Highlands and downtown. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
This place is dope!!! We ordered the family style dinner and it was awesome. It includes appetizers, two different salads, rotisserie chicken and their famous cookies.!! Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

Yelp
At first when we arrived, my husband was disappointed because he thought it was going to be a bunk dining experience. However, we ordered the charred sesame brussels sprouts, which were a definite yes after, do get them! Then we shared the huevos rancheros bowl, and a yummy Chicken Banh Mi sándwich, a side of half order sweet potato-avo salad with a delectable Thai dressing. Everything was delicious! Definitely worth the trip over there. The service staff was also super friendly and made great recommendations.

Yelp
Had a fast, affordable and tasty lunch here yesterday! I visited right at noon and even with the lunch rush, I was able to order at the counter and get my food within fifteen minutes. At first I was taken aback by the price but the full size salad was huge! I was able to save it for another meal, so definitely get a half salad unless you want a big portion. The dressing was so tasty and the chicken was delicious. I sat on the patio with my dog and there were plenty of picnic tables available. It is also under cover so you can still dine here with your furry friend in the rain or heat. There is also plenty of indoor seating in the modern style dining room. I'll definitely be back before a Rockies game to get a fresh meal and a free beer! They make it super convenient to visit.

Yelp
BriDer is first and foremost a rotisserie, so their roasted chicken is obviously a go to. Their meatballs are also amazing and we love their French dip as well! Consistently high quality but a higher price tag comes along with it - be forewarned. But you do get what you pay for in the best way!

Yelp
My 8 yr old daughter (a picky gal) and her 4 yr old sister (who normally NEEDS ketchup for everything), both were elated to eat here (RARE) and ate all their food. This is a huge deal in our family, as we nearly always have at least one person still hungry, unhappy w the restaurant, or we have to stay in budget. Not tonight. We all got exactly what we wanted, completely full bellies, and didn't break $75 (insane). We will absolutely be back as soon as we can. My oldest keeps saying 5 stars, 5 stars, 5 stars!
google avatar

Meg O.

Yelp
The food here was fresh and yummy and interesting! Choc chip cookies fantastic. Try the San Pelligrino in blood orange.

Yelp
Great happy hour deals! 3-6 PM! I liked their sweet potato fries, Brussel sprouts, and the margarita. Ps if you check in on Yelp, you can claim a free cookie

Yelp
This place was amazing! We did an order through Uber Eats for lunch and everything was excellent. The restaurant has a large variety of menu options ranging from salads, curry, and Nashville chicken. Everything was executed perfectly. Super tasty and fresh. All of our food came packaged perfectly. Would recommend and would come back!

Yelp
My #ThankYouThursday goes to Brider! #1, They have a grrreat happy hour! There are reduced-price food items and drink specials ranging from $4 to $7. #2, the service has always been excellent when I've gone. People seem pretty happy to be working there and that does a lot when they're in the customer service business! Happy workers often lead to happy customers, I think! One time when I was there I was telling the bartender I wanted something to eat but not heavy or fried. He suggested the chicken and veggies on the kid's menu. I said "I can get that?" He said I could, that it wasn't a big deal that I wasn't a kid and he put my needs over the technicalities. It was super good and just the right light meal I was looking for. Stuff like that goes a long way, it's really not always that hard to please people and when I was a server I thought of it that way, too. If I can do it, I will, so I can make people happy with their experience and have nothing but a good time. The space is very open and there are some tables on the patio when Denver weather permits. Across the street is Denver Beer Co. as well as several other establishments in the area. It's a cool neighborhood. If I didn't live on the other end of downtown, I'd be here a lot more often!!

Margie R.

Yelp
I have only used for catering but the food is amazing and definitely a crowd-pleaser! Their sweet potato fries are so tasty but my favorite is the Sweet Potato and Avocado salad. The dressing has just the right amount of heat to be tasty but not to overwhelm.

Yelp
The Scarlet Vetter says....This place was suggested by our Foodie Tour Guide as the place for chicken. The facility is bright and airy with ample seating. Located in the beginning of the Lo Hi neighborhood, the moment you walk in the aroma is tantilizing. The Moscow Mules were fabulous with locally distilled vodka and homemade brewed Ginger Beer made on site. We ate family style starting with the restaurant's famous "as reported in the New York Times" Kale Apple Salad. Chock full of candied almonds and great greens with a lovely dressing, the salad was really delicious. Next were wings with special sauce and fresh cilantro. Crispy outside, succulent inside. I am from Buffalo the original home of wings, and Buffalo has nothing like this in flavor! There is a upper scale Brider restaurant and this eatery takeout place. The meal was topped off with Colorado's best chocolate cookie! Yum.
google avatar

Katlyn D.

Yelp
BriDer specializes on what Americans love most; chicken. Go during Happy Hour for the chicken wings and the sweet heat chicken tenders. Fast, friendly service with open seating.
google avatar

Robbie R.

Yelp
One of my new favorite spots for lunch! Sandwiches are packed with flavor and good size. Highly recommend the banh mi, French dip, or Cajun shrimp but from talking with others I don't think you can go wrong. They are also known for their rotisserie chicken but haven't tried that yet. Great location, tons of indoor and outdoor seating and happy hour specials. Check it out!
google avatar

Michael T.

Yelp
Whoa! This falafel sandwich was out of sight! So filling and SO flavorful. Patio seating is a great place to people-watch. 100% will be back!

Yelp
I love this place. Their chicken is salty and delicious and so is tbe crack green sauce it comes with. We also got the Mac and cheese, fried rice, sweet potato and avocado salad, and sweet potato fries. They were all yummy! This was my second time and I would return again although it is pricey. You order at the counter and sit down and the staff bring your food to you. They are friendly and we got our food quick, which is why I chose this spot. As a mother with a toddler who is a ticking time bomb, we love this place. Also you have to get a cookie! They are so good.
google avatar

Rhianna W.

Yelp
Everything we had was excellent. I would especially recommend the sweet potato fries for the jalapeno dip they come with. I could not get enough. And the service was exceptional.
google avatar

Yelp
Brider is soooo tasty & located on a cute little street with other fun shops/restaurants. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the staff is extremely friendly. Perfect place to grab lunch, drink a beer, and catch up.
google avatar

Tam B.

Yelp
Came here on a food tour and the food was amazing! We had the apple and kale salad which I could have eaten the whole family sized bowl by myself. I usually don't even like kale. We also had the chicken wings with the secret sauce and it was addicting! Not dry, not too saucy, just perfect. The cookie we got with the Yelp check in and SO worth the Yelp hype. Nancy who works there was so friendly and made our whole experience great! Definitely top off with their ginger beer! Would definitely come here again!
google avatar

Gabby S.

Yelp
Lovely lunch spot - walking distance from my work! Just recently discovered this spot and it's the perfect walking distance to come for a lunch during work. Everything was fresh and tasty. I didn't try to rotisserie chicken because it was almost 100 degrees and I was craving salad but I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items. We got there right before a giant lunch rush and our food was out super quickly. The Chicken tortilla soup was soo good, even the soup base had a slight tortilla flavor along with delicious hunks of chicken. We also go two different salads - the sweet potato & avocado with shrimp and the shaved apple and baby kale. You could tell they used really high quality ingredients and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. Seems you can't go wrong with anything on the menu here!!
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
The salads here are amazing, they are huge and so flavorful. I got the kale and apple salad with salmon and it was delicious. They also have clutch chocolate chip cookies and everyone working there was really nice.

Yelp
Torn between 3 and 4 stars. My son (14) said 6/10. So I guess that's equal to 3/5. I liked it a little better than that. We tried the Nashville hot, banh mi and then for sides we upgraded to the sweet potato salad and kale and apple. It was $3 to do the upgrade from the potato chips that normally come with. A bit steep for a sandwich and salad ($18). Anyway...the banh mi had great flavor. The bread was soooo good! The only complaint is that it really like a lot of chicken. More bites lacked chicken than had it. My son felt the same about his sandwich. Too much bread to chicken ratio. My apple kale salad was apple and spinach. I don't know if they ran out of kale or what the situation was because they didn't say anything. I noticed a few bites in that it was supposed to be kale. I would have said something but I'd had a few bites before I remembered. I would have preferred kale. The sweet potato salad was really tasty but it's not a traditional salad with a lettuce base. I liked it but my son (who ordered it) felt like it was ingredients that would go in a salad, but he was wanting lettuce with it. I didn't mind because then I got to eat some! I brought the Rey home and will make a salad out of it with some greens. The staff were super friendly. Don't forget to check in on Yelp for a free cookie. It was also just okay. Super buttery and almost too many Choc chips - I can't believe I even wrote that!! I definitely think they are not made from scratch in house.
google avatar

Sherrin M.

Yelp
Great location and good food. A solid 3.5 stars. A pricier option for a sandwich and potato chips though, come on, no fries?? The chicken pesto sandwich is good - toasted buttery bread, pesto, which is more like a pesto aioli, chicken, cheese. It's a good combo and reminds me of the chicken pomodori panini from corner bakery. The rotisserie chicken banh mi was good - skimpy on the chicken, but juicy and there are carrots, cilantro, mint, jalapeños, and cucumber inside. The bread is a little dry (it needed more sauce). Looks like they serve alcohol and have hh specials. For a sandwich, I don't think I'd be back. $30 ish bucks for 2 that I could probably get elsewhere for cheaper. But they do have ample seating inside and outside and if you're in the city, it's a quick option.

Anthony M.

Yelp
I've gotten better food at a Safeway. Overpriced, no option of potatoes, except for sweets, which are in fry form or in a salad. Not vegan or carnivore.K ahead and go across the bridge to get some decent food

Yelp
I was wandering around in Denver and hadn't eaten yet that day when i saw via yelp this place seemed good and it was happy hour! It was quiet inside because it was something like 4:30 on a Monday. I ordered 5 wings and 2 margaritas. both fantastic. for a pretty decent price happy hour or not. idk why it's hard to come across full wings in colorado? so was hype to see that right off the bat. and the sauce. i don't even know what it was it was sweet and tangy and has some peanuty goodness and i'm usually not a big savory peanut person! they sell it for pretty cheap too in bottles. i bought the hot sauce (so good) and i've been thinking about how i should've bought the sauce for a few weeks now. might just have to make it back to denver. the margaritas were nice too! not too sweet wasn't watered down or anything. Just a good drink:) all the staff was really nice. i think the ambiance has range too. i can see taking kids there, a lil group of teens, a not overly fancy date night spot, and i didn't feel weird being there alone. the rest of the menu also looked pretty good i was tempted but also knew what i wanted. good lil spot to grab a bite. i wasnt having the best day and this helped turn it around. i reccomend.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
This place was great - service was patient and helpful, food was fresh and flavorful, and the ambiance was inviting (trendy music and ample seating options). The cookies (rated best in Denver by Yelp) were average - a nice mix of vanilla and chocolate chips. Prices were slightly high for the quality of food, but service was appreciated!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here with my co-workers for a meeting meal. This place was awesome! Chicken was great, I put it over some mac and cheese. I'd 100% come again. Kind staff, and cute atmosphere.

Yelp
Form their pesto sandwich, to their roasted chicken. Brider is always a go to. I also really love their kale and apple salad with falafel!
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
I was on a mission to get a tasty sandwich for lunch and wanted to avoid the common sandwich chains. Brider popped up on Yelp and I had no idea they did sandwiches! I was intrigued by the rotisserie chicken banh mi...a little critical of the high price point, but I was so hungry that I just went for it. For $16 , plus the usual battle for parking on Platte St., I needed this sandwich to be something truly incredible. And let me tell you, it absolutely was. Every ingredient rocked. Uber flavor and juicy rotisserie chicken, fresh bread, a tangy slaw, wow wow. Half of the sandwich would have been plenty for lunch, but I loved it too much to risk saving the other half and it getting soggy, so I took one for the team and pushed through to finish it. Now the cookie (free w Yelp check-in!). If you're a cookie person, you need to try this cookie. I had low expectations since I'm not a white chocolate fan, but it was genuinely one of the best cookies I've ever had. And also huge. If I could only eat one cookie for the rest of my life, Brider's cookie is a strong contender. Not a cheap meal for the fast casual feel, but certainly a tasty one!

J A.

Yelp
Many tasty options and a solid choice! Highly recommend the butternut squash salad it's our favorite! Mac and cheese is also delicious.
google avatar

Joy Q.

Yelp
Spot for a quick bite. I ordered The chicken Bahn mi, which was decent. They have a big seating area and outdoor patio
google avatar

Stephanie K.

Yelp
Searching for veggies, and happening upon some of the most delightful pulled rotisserie chicken is some kind of serendipity. I found both in my new favorite Sweet Potato & Avocado Salad, which eats like a snappy Asian slaw. So much flavor, generous on the freshest veggies, but a generous portion of Brider's signature rotisserie chicken and Thai-style dressing takes it over the top. Definitely ask for extra dressing if you're taking a full order to go - they don't skimp on portions!
google avatar

M E.

Yelp
The food was incredible; six wings with secret sauce for Krispy, yet moist and tender. They give you the full wing, including the flat and the drum stick, which is very generous. The sweet potato fries were very fresh and delicious!! The staff was amazing, and the food was served piping, hot and extremely fast. This is definitely a must go to place in Denver and they have a great happy hour as well. For my first visit this definitely hit all of the boxes and was five star worthy.

Yelp
GREAT food and service. We have ordered takeout many times over the past two years and have dined in a few times, all excellent experiences. Recommend!!
google avatar

Yelp
AMAZING happy hour will keep me coming back for more! Pictured here are the incredibly crispy sweet potato fries and the delicious margs, all at a great deal. Not pictured are the warm chocolate chip cookie and friendly service! We often stop by for happy hour to enjoy the deals and quick service, and every time we end up drooling over the rest of the menu. Looking forward to going back to try more!

Yelp
Used to come here fairly often pre-pandemic when we were still in the West Highlands, then came back yesterday for lunch with the family. Yep, still delicious. I didn't realize they only just started opening on Sundays. I got the kale and apple salad (large was too much but ate it anyway) and a kids meatball polenta (why not?). My wife got the sweet potato and avocado salad, and kids got the grilled cheese. Everything was very tasty (I got to eat their leftovers for lunch today). Staff were very friendly and quick to clean up spills. This is a great spot for lunch. We also have done their Thanksgiving meals in the past, which were spot on. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Every time I eat here I am reminded how FANTASTIC Brider truly is. The fast-casual rotisserie restaurant deserves every ounce of praise. Mainly because the execution of the food is picture perfect. Every single time. Who grew up going to Boston Market? I sure did. It was always a treat when my grandparents took me there. If you thought that rotisserie chicken was good (it probably wasn't looking back) you need, NEED, to check out what's going on in Brider's kitchen. During the pandemic we ordered from them about a half dozen times. Even taking advantage of the outdoor patio twice. Right off Platte St. in LoHi it's a wonderful place to dine on a nice day. Anywho, last night post workout I placed a pickup order on DoorDash. I ordered the 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken w/ Brussels and a side of Mac. Now, I find myself ordering the sandwiches from Brider more frequently because of how damn tasty they are. But wow. WOW. The herb-rubbed rotisserie chicken is phenomenal. Juicy, moist and fall off the bone tender. I went full caveman and pulled the whole bird apart with my bare hands, burning them. Sweet Mother of Moses, I was in rotisserie utopia. The Brussels are some of the best in the whole city. And the Mac was creamy and delicious. Take advantage of the Yelp check in offer for the free Chocolate Chip Cookie! You'll be surprised how good they are. A+ from me. Consistency is the most important thing when it comes to a restaurant's success. Brider is an exemplary example of how operate day in and day out!

Yelp
Welp if rotisserie chicken is the name of your game than this is going to be one of your top shelf go to spots in the Mile High! It's located in one of the hottest parts of town, across from that REI on the river and they have a pup friendly patio with a vibe for all seasons. Their whole chicken meal deal is pretty fantastic and their signature in-house hot sauce is worthy of obsession! Also they have hands down the BEST COOKIES in town!

Yelp
Decent hors d'oeuvres spot for a quick lunch, or early dinner if you missed lunch. Brussels sprouts are my go-to highly recommended.

Yelp
Quality sandwiches by the Platte Came here after a long bike Ride on a Saturday morning to refuel! We arrived at noon and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for 2 people. The wait staff were really friendly and always asking how my experience was which was nice. They even walked me through the ordering process, what food was good, and how to get my drinks since it was my first time. I ordered the chicken pesto with chips. The pesto sauce was tasty and not overpowering, the cheese was a great texture and the sweet peppers was the cherry on top. I highly recommend since they are a rotisserie and make great chicken dishes.

Yelp
One of the top 5 "sandwich shops" in Denver for sure. Calling it that isn't meant to be an insult to this high-end chef-driven restaurant but really that's what it is. Unlike other competitor sandwich or deli operations that use mass-produced bread and wholesale purveyed meats, Brider either does it in house or uses local small scale providers for its ingredients. And the difference matters. Had the Bahn Mi Chicken today and once you bite into the focaccia-bunned freshly roasted chicken garnished with truly fresh vegetables your mouth knows it's in for a treat. The only reason its not up to the other 5 star such places I've experienced? The bahn mi needed to have a more powerful corresponding pickle punch to off-set the traditional oil-based dressing on the sandwich. And the accompanying potato chips--while clearly locally produced (?)--lacked any real potato flavor like you taste in some of the better small batch chips these days. But those minors criticisms aside, I'm still a great fan of Chef Steve Redzikowski who's made a real difference in Denver-area dining with Oak at 14th (and Acorn before it closed last fall because of C-19) and now for the last 5 years or so at Brider's. So if you haven't tried it yet you really need to head on down to the South Platte Confluence Park area. You'll be surprised at the difference between what's offered there as opposed to what you end up paying almost as much for at your neighborhood sandwich shop. You take care now, David "That'll be to go" M.
