Loved this Bar/Restaurant in Middle Village. I got there early and there weren't any other customers but after a while quite a few people came in. It seems like a neighborhood bar but it's very welcoming to outsiders. The service is good. They have the best Potato Skins I've ever had. Their Cocktails are good and the pour on the drinks is great. They have lots of Beer choices. The prices are very reasonable. They have lots of options on the menu. The place is big with lots of T.V.s. I hope to return and try something else from the menu

I had a baby shower for 36 people at Bridie’s Grill Room in December 2024. The room is a beautiful separate space from the main restaurant seating. It was decorated with wreaths and other greenery for Christmas. The food and service were excellent. They served a mozzarella arugula salad with bread as an appetizer and we had a lunch buffet of steak, shrimp and pasta, sausage and peppers, mashed potatoes, chicken francese and a mixed salad. Everyone remarked at how delicious the food was.

Sports bar . We had corn fritters medium hot wings and mozzarella sticks. The servers kept the cold beer flowing. Nice draft beer selection. The place is modern but cozy & clean. Very clean. Close to the Q27. Excellent spacious restrooms! No steps... Sorry no photos

I've always heard about Bridie's but after hearing of their closing I felt like I missed an opportunity to try a great staple. Once I heard they were opening back up but in Middle Village I was pumped. We went on a Thursday night, it was pretty packed but we were able to get a seat quickly/ without waiting. This was a trick because even ordering a beer took 20 minutes. I tried browsing their instagram page and saw a few posts saying they are known for a steak sandwich, I then browsed yelp to see the same consensus. We start out with regular buffalo wings. They were NOT good. Very saucy but needed to be cooked more. It took so long to come out I just let it go and didn't even finish the wings. For so many people raving about their wings I was expecting a lot. Next we ordered a burger. It was regular. Nothing fancy, it was a frozen patty heated up and dressed. Fine, it's a bar/ restaurant it's what l expected. Then we order the "famous" skirt steak sandwich. The waitress comes out and gives us its Philly cheesesteak, l tell her it's not what we ordered and I show her the instagram post because I want to specifically try this steak sandwich. I'm not sure why she was confused. We wait 25 minutes for it and when it comes out it's just toast and steak, very little sauce, it was well-done (barf) and to top it off its $21 just for the sandwich. What a scam. Look at the photo of the sandwich attached to this review. Scam. This all felt like a waste of time and money here. They hired so many waiters and waitresses there was no need for service to be so slow and wrong. The only thing going for this place was the size of the restaurant and the amount of TVs allowing customers to watch different games/matches. Definitely not returning.

Google
Awesome spot to kickback and grab some drinks and food while watching the game. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The drinks were made perfectly. The wings are amazing. They were crispy, good size and properly coated with sauce. I might become a regular here.

My wife and I decided to give the new location a try. We called ahead to see if there was a wait. The hostess said there was about a 20-minute wait. She took our names over the phone. We arrived about 20 minutes later and were seated immediately. The place was nice and mostly filled with local people. It was friendly and relaxed. Service was prompt and attentive. My wife was uncertain if she wanted the IPA, and the server brought a sample for her to try. I had the Sheppard's Pie while my wife had a turkey burger with sweet potato fries. The food was good and served in a reasonable time. The only downside was that the music was a bit loud, and we had to wait a bit for the bill to be settled. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. The menu was diverse and not just "bar food." A would recommend and will likely return. UPDATE - Went back with family. Staff was still nice and had wings. Not bad, but a bit heavy on the Chipotle sauce making them very sloppy.

Yelp
The new location on Dry Harbor (moved from Woodhaven Blvd) is much more spacious and brighter. The Cuban sandwich was juicy & tasty, bread nicely toasted and you can choose a (healthier) side without the extra cost. I went for the sweet potato fries (other places usually charge extra). My friend ordered the shrimp quesadilla (sorry no pic) shrimp nicely cooked (not over or under cooked, just right). The service was good, the waitress checked in on us several times.

Yelp
Came here last night for the Super Bowl and it was only an ok experience. First of all, we sat in the back with 7 other tables 2 of which were large parties. There were about 8 servers walking around and they were hovering to the point that it was weird. We started watching to see if it was other tables as well, but no, it was just our table. Not sure why. Food was fine. Nothing was amazing but I only got wings and fries. Wings could have been crispier for sure. What really got me is they charged an "operating fee". For what?? No signage stating you'll be charged this fee either. I've never even heard of this before

Yelp
Ordered for pickup, the wings were amazing! The packaging was great, and the wings were juicy and full of flavor. Super fast and convenient--a great addition to Dry Harbor!

Annie V.

Yelp
This spot has my heart for their unbelievable wings! I'm usually all about BBQ, but tonight I ventured into Carolina Tangy Gold (8pcs)--absolutely perfect. We also shared the Shepherd's pie and grilled chicken with veggies (it was just peppers and zucchini, really guys? No broccoli?) and mashed potatoes. The chicken was tender and perfectly grilled, though the mash could've used more flavor. The Shepherd's pie definitely delivered on seasoning. Their new location is a total upgrade--chic, modern, and always packed, especially during football games. It feels more like an upscale lounge than your average wings-and-sports bar!

James I.

Yelp
First off the staff was friendly & on point. The atmosphere was right up my alley. Plenty of tvs showing multiple sports. The food was great and affordable. I'd definitely come back! Two thumbs up.

Oscar C.

Yelp
Nice calamari the service was very faster and the ambience it's good I can't complain

Deanna H.

Yelp
Went here last night with my bestie for her birthday. We got a table in the back because it was packed due to the Mets game. Could hardly hear each other over the people yelling which kinda sucked. The food was good tho. I got the chicken tacos and they were delicious. Not spicy and very flavorful. The waitress was helpful in helping us pick out a drink since we're not big drinkers and she pointed us in the right direction. The lemonade spritzer was yummy and light. We had churros for dessert. The space is nice in there too. Clean, and they have a back area. They definitely should make it where there's an area for people that just want to eat. Maybe those watching the game could stay seated in the front. I just think it would make it nicer for everyone. I'd go back and preferably on a night there's no game.

Anders B.

Yelp
WARNING: Watch out for the 4.5% Credit Card processing fee. Decided to give it another try and tried their skirt steak sandwich, which was quite good.

Sara B.

Yelp
Normally I only write reviews when something is amazing or truly bizarrely egregiously awful, but here it is. I don't get the love for this place. I did delivery. I got the cheese quesadilla. It was food - limp, cold and lifeless, with what tasted like pre-made stop and shop guacamole. I guess the wings must be really good for them to have so many good reviews.

Victoria M.

Yelp
The new location is a game changer. Let's talk about the ambiance first. If you're a sports fan, there's large flat screen tv's surrounding the place. There's plenty of space both at the bar and tables. You won't feel like you're on top of each other. It's a perfect place to just hangout or go on a date. The bathrooms are clean and spacious. Now, the food. We started with the pulled pork nachos. The presentation was cool. They came out in a large can and dumped in a plate so they were evenly layered with deliciousness. I had the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. The wrap literally tasted like a Buffalo wing in a wrap. I'm a sucker for a good fry and these fries were "banging" as my husband would say. They were crispy and thin like McDonald's fries. My husband had the Texas burger, which he loved as well. Make sure you order a side of chipotle mayo! The service was great as well. We didn't feel rushed and our waitress checked on us and our drinks, which is always extra appreciated on a hot day!

Tyler L.

Yelp
Apparently, Bridie's has been around for 35 years. Overall, it was a decent but average Irish pub. The place is very spacious with two large seating areas, stools around the bar, and even an outdoor patio area. It is in good condition as well for an older establishment. The selection of drinks is very good too. The food unfortunately is just so so. Their french fries look like McDonalds fries and are just the generic frozen variety. The burger was nothing special either. It is on the smaller side compared to burgers I've had at other pubs. I would say this is suitable as a place to only get some drinks and watch sports.

Robert Z.

Yelp
Haven't tried it yet , heard good things about it , I will soon , let you know my opinion,

MercedesL L.

Yelp
We love it here! Can't go wrong with anything you order on the menu! We were hungry- but not starving so we ordered 3 appetizers. We had the Carolina Gold wings, the fried Calamari and the Trashcan Nachos! So good! I had 2 Malibu Bay Breeze and my boyfriend had a pitcher of Stella Artois beer. We came in on Saturday night before St. Patrick's Day. Place was lively, had a great vibe and we had great fun mingling with other patrons. Service was on point as we were continuously checked on. Highly recommend for date night, group game fun with some awesome food drinks! As a neighborhood staple we will forever return!

Mel G.

Yelp
The hubby and I wandered over on a Friday for an early dinner. We ordered a burger and the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. Everything was yummy, hot and served quickly. Wine and beer were excellent, and our server Michelle was perfect. Just the right tone and amount of attentiveness. You felt taken care of, but could still have a nice private conversation. Will patronize again!

Debbie K.

Yelp
One of the best hamburgers I've ever had! Everyone in our group had something different and everyone was amazed. A truly delicious experience.

G G.

Yelp
Used to always see a big crowd go into their old location on Woodhaven while I dined at other places in the area so figured we try this new place. Big fan of wings normally go out to Rockville center but this is closer to the house. Wings are actually good. The mussel pot was OK except that it did not have too much of the stock which made the mussels a little dry. The Lava cake was not hot and moist like in most locations it was pretty tough and dry.It was a hot day in the 80s. AC was not working too well so it made dinner a little uncomfortable, especially when having having a few drinks. The waitress definitely needed some assistance. She was all alone in the back with a full area. But I think I Would go back.

Barbie V.

Yelp
My Family and I love this place. Everyone is amazing. The food is outstanding.. absolute wonderful atmosphere..

Fernando R.

Yelp
I went here to watch the World Series and if you are a Yankees fan in Queens it was outstanding. A bar full of fans and awesome wings I really enjoyed it.

Palmina E.

Yelp
The atmosphere and set-up of this place is fantastic. New, fresh, clean. Hardworking staff everywhere. Food is a bit of a bummer. It's sub-par. Everything you can consider as a 'generic bar meal' appears on the menu - not to mention that the quantity on your plate is minimal. One should not consider this bar/eatery if they're looking for a full, hearty, wholesome meal. Recommended for drinks only (as per food, only if you feel like "snacking".

Nancy G.

Yelp
It is an Instagram scam. Buffalo wings are saucy but needed to be cooked more. Burger was a frozen patty heated up and dressed. It is dark and noisy inside. A waste of money and time.

Valerie C.

Yelp
Came at the start of the knicks playoff games with no reservation so it was super crowded. We did get seats rather quickly in the dining portion of the bar and grill so it was less sports bar vibe, but still had enough TVs around to root for our team. I'd advise on making reservations way in advance and asking for seats in front of house by the bar area if you want the vibes. Food was delish and service was great!

Gerard A.

Yelp
The female bartender on Thursday her name is Nina tried to rob me. I had a pile of money on the bar and ordered a Sam Adams Octoberfest. She took a 20 and gave me $8 change. When I questioned her her reply was " that's weird ". No it's not weird Nina you tried to rob me of $4. I've been a bartender for 37 years. Maybe I made an honest mistake one out of every 25000 transactions. Maybe this was her one in 25000. Wink wink. Count your money if you are in there on a Thursday afternoon

Erickson R.

Yelp
Not sure how my girlfriend came across this place, but she sent to me on Instagram a while back. According to the IG post, they are known for their wings. So we decided to try them out, we drove from Bronx, paid the toll there and back. As for the food, we started with an ordered of buffalo garlic wings which were good. My only comment about them is that they could have been more crispier and I didn't taste the garlic flavor in the sauce. Next we ordered food, my girlfriend ordered the classic cheese burger and I ordered the turkey burger, they both came with lettuce, tomato onions, a pickle, ketchup and a side of shoe-string fries all on the side. We both requested mayo and mustard. My girlfriend liked her burger and my turkey burger was ok. I was expecting more of a customized/ freshly made turkey burger, but instead I got frozen one. All and all, the food was ok, the price on the food we had was decent, on the 3 items we offered plus tax came up to $50, service was good, I gave 20% tip. But would I go back, not quite sure, as I did travel really for there wings. My personal rating scale for them, (3=good)) 1=alright 2=ok 3=good 4=great 5=excellent

Ipaceit I.

Yelp
Best wings in Rego Park . Probably top wings in NYC. No lie! They moved to a new location much bigger and TV's everywhere

Angela P.

Yelp
I went to the new Bridie s tonight with 2 friends. We all ordered the skirt steak sandwich @$21.00. The sandwich was a huge diasppointment. There was more bread and very little skirt steak. It was a very skimpy portion of meat and 1 slices of cheese. Our waitress could not have been nicer and very attentive.

Erica B.

Yelp
This place did exactly what it was supposed to do. I wanted a nice spot, that wasn't too mixy to sit and enjoy some wings. Apparently they have the best wings in Queens but i'd jump in the ring to dispute that claim. Food: I came here on a Football Sunday and the place as pretty empty. I ordered Chipotle BBQ wings and they were tasty and made quick to order. 9 decent size wings were served and hot. It cost $14. Drinks: I ordered an amaretto sour and it was good. You really can't go wrong with an Amaretto Sour. Parking: Parking is tough because it's a main block with metered parking. I was lucky going on Sunday so the meters were off. Overall - i would return here for a nice, whole in the wall pub. Definitely a sports bar type of vibe. No music just chatter and sports.

Trudy T.

Yelp
First time at new location. I liked it. Lots of screens, lots to look at, and plenty of room. Friendly and helpful service.. Drinks and spinach dip appetizer - very good. We both had different chicken wraps (a bit stingy with the chicken in both). Otherwise, great time. Look forward to returning soon. Good luck with your new place!

Patricia I.

Yelp
New location is really nice one of my favorite local bars Good burgers fries wings Really good shepherds pie Every I've eaten here is great

John M.

Yelp
Really have to say place went down hill at the new location. Food quality is not what it use to be. Beer was watered down. And the casamigos shots was definitely rubbing alcohol. Sad to say after many years of going to them the management at the new place and quality. Won't have me going back anymore.

Richie S.

Yelp
New digs same great food. and the new look is off the charts. Congrats and keep up the good work

Sundeep S.

Yelp
Used to go here a lot when we lived in MV. We went over the weekend and found out the food has declined. Wings were pretty good. The Truffle fries were cold. Steak was subpar. My Philly cheese steak was a hero with about 10 grams of meat and subpar cheese. Not good. Wife and friend ordered sangria which were horrible (go across the street to Mario Pollo for the best sangria in Middle Village, maybe even Queens) The Guinness was on point. Not sure what happened but the food experience let us down. Anyway. I hope it gets better.

Mark W.

Yelp
Food was very good. Server was great. Dining room was half full, but very noisy. They need better acoustics. I would recommend.

Dee H.

Yelp
Went for the first time and the food was delicious! It's deceiving from the outside and was surprised at how big it is inside. The bar and back room had several screens featuring different sports. One drawback was the noise level. Extremely loud even in the back room but hey it is a sports bar! Will definitely be back!

Carmen S.

Yelp
Good drinks, friendly staff, and great food nice hangout spot around the way .. very clean. we love this spot my boyfriend and I .

Lauren B.

Yelp
Service was good. Food was hot and fresh. Had the Buffalo chicken wrap and sweet chili wings with vodka cranberry to drink. Would definitely come back.

Maria M.

Yelp
Came here for one of the fifa world cup games. It was interesting to find it very empty. Most sports bars are very packed for the games. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. We ordered the nachos in the picture which were ok. I felt like it needed alot of guacamole and sour cream to taste good because the cheese was very melted almost like water and very scarce. They also did not have many options for beers. I am an ipa kinda of gal and they only had lagunitas which sucks so i stuck with blue moon. Also ordered the wings, the bbq wins were very good comes 9 in the order which is enough for 2 ppl . We also ordered truffle fries which this is prob the worst truffle fries I've ever had. Tasted and looked like McDonald's fries. Sorry i don't have a picture. But this bar would be good only if I live close to it and for some beers and wings.

Danny E.

Yelp
This place sucks, walked up to this spot and order simple bacon cheese burger to go I waited 45 mins to be told my food was given to someone else: I stood there over 15 mins more mins with no one attending to me. Never coming back. Thanks for nothing

Jennifer G.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years for football and wings. Tonight my husband and I came and by half time they ran out of wings. Totally fine. One of the bartenders who I'm assuming was off duty asked us to move down a seat so he could sit at the bar (and get a better view of the TV). He got into it with my husband about the game to the point where he challenged him to step outside and accused him of putting hands on him which did not happen. My husband is 79 and I'm 53 and we've gone to bars probably before this guy was born. Bartenders are expected to hold it together and probably get drunk in other bars. Not the one you work in with paying customers. I understand people drink and sometimes things get out of hand. But needless to say we will never step foot in this place and miss the previous staff who were professional and did not harass the customers. Just STFU and be a professional. Everyone else in the world has to suck it up at work. I had to deescalate the situation and pay a bill for food I didn't even want because there were no wings! Hopefully when they move to their new location they get new staff! We finally got a great Giants win and couldn't even enjoy it.

Josephine M.

Yelp
Excellent food and atmosphere! Might be a bit loud during sports showing on the multiple TVs but all good vibes.

Yanira C.

Yelp
Good place for finger food! Staff is very friendly and the ambiance is fun especially Friday nights.

Patricia A.

Yelp
Great food & drinks. Great place to watch sports. Friendly staff good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend Bridie's Bar & Grill at new location.

Alexia G.

Yelp
Bridies Bar and Grill has been around for such a long time. It is a great go to place for great eats and drinks! I only have a couple of restaurants that I am fond of in the area and I would travel just to come have the wings and wraps. I normally order one of their chicken wraps or Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich with sweet potato fries and an order of mushroom truffle Mac and cheese. I have not tried their truffle buffalo wings yet but they do sound really great. Their other wing flavors are delicious. Honestly, my favorite wing place in all of NYC. Its in a great central location. They have updated their space to be COVID-19 friendly. They have also updated their outdoor seating area which looks and feels great. Their side seating is not directly on Woodhaven Blvd. but on the side street that is more residential. We typically visit on Thursdays, Friday's and Saturday's. The service here has always been hospitable and professional. Ryan is an exceptional bartender And very attentive server! We are so lucky that he is there every time we visit. He makes great cocktails and is always quick with a recommendation if you do not know what you are in the mood for. I would go to the forest hills stadium and take a quick cab afterwards for food and drink. If you are ordering trays for a party or looking to have a party (not sure what their capacity for parties now due to the pandemic) they really provide good food such as Italian dishes, irish specialties and crowd favorite hors d'oeuvres. I am planning a small party and went to their website and they have multiple packages to choose from. If you have any specific or gluten allergies I would contact the restaurant to see what is available as did not specify.

Debra H.

Yelp
A fun place to meet for happy hour. We also shared a delicious Bavarian pretzel with different dips which was unfortunately eaten before taking a picture.

Alice R.

Yelp
Great little Irish bar with affordable, yummy food. Stopped in for lunch with two girlfriends the other day and was not disappointed. We started off with the mild wings which were delicious, both crispy and saucey at the same time, but the mild was very mild. If you like heat, I would recommend getting a spicier level. I had the truffle burger which was juicy and sweet potato fries which were perfectly cooked. My friends had salads and our waitress was nice enough to warn us in advance the teriyaki is quite salty. Overall great little spot, I'm sure it gets fun for happy hour/late night!

Kevin M.

Yelp
It was so hot tonight that I visibly saw a puff of human body fluid like cloud push out from the front door. My burger was burned and took one hour to show up---and included a bill for drinks that were not mine. Won't be back.

Eunice B.

Yelp
The wings here are soooooooo delicious! They have a variety of flavors! My friends and I ordered the Chipotle ranch, Jamaican jerk, habenero, sticky garlic and lemon pepper. The habenero wasn't as spicy as I thought. The Jamaican jerk wasn't that spicy either lol. But they were still good. My favorite was the sticky garlic.

Glenn V.

Yelp
Years have passed since stopping in for some food, drink and pleasant conversation, all of which I refilled my tank upon today. Thinking burger, I transitioned after my thunder & lightning was stolen by my dining partner and quickly went --- Shepherds Pie. And upon reflection, The Juicy Lucy was an interesting description given holding the first burger position on the option on the menu. More specifically, the two four ounce burgers with cheddar cheese in between may have been pre-prepared. So if you were to order extra cheese (American in this case), you'd get cheddar in the middle. Not my observation, but entertaining none the less. My Shepards Pie was georgous to view but lacked a bit in quantities of ingredient percentages. The mashed potatoes atop represented a healthy two thirds of the dish, perhaps thats more tlof an authentic and traditional way of preparing the dish, but at fifteen dollars, the meat should have been more present. I did like the flavor of the chopped meat, in that it was cooked and served in its own light and thin gravy. The peas and carrot were all a bit lost in the lower one third and I honestly didn't notice much about them unfortunately. A lower rating would be assigned due to the food by one star, had it not been for the spectacular service by our server who was mainly holding bar duties. The few high tops in the first room were her domain dyring our lunch and we were so fortunate for that. Sweet, pleasant, cheerful and professional -- she is so very deserving of special mention. Monday 50 cent wings. Tuesday 2 for 1 burgers. Wednesday $2.00 tacos.

Sarah H.

Yelp
Love this place. Definitely go to for delivery. Food is great and large portions. Great wings, Mac & Cheese, burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas, shrimp basket...cannot go wrong.
