As Hale and Hearty Founders Return to Soup, New Spots Enter the Bowl | Eater NY

"An ice cream shop with locations in Park Slope and Prospect Lefferts Gardens is returning for a second year as a winter soup pop-up; the Locanda Verde and Maialino alum behind the dessert spot has flipped the shop into a seasonal operation serving mainstays like Italian wedding, using the pop-up model to address the seasonality challenge of soup businesses." - Emma Orlow

Local Brooklyn Made ice cream shop 🍦 really unique flavors like popcorn, cold brew, and Girl Scout Samoan cookies. Much less wait time than the gelato place next door. Give them a try… you won’t be disappointed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great new ice cream place in the neighborhood and has a bunch of different flavors and when one is out they replace it with a totally new flavor so that's pretty unique, I had the apricot sorbet along with the classic vanilla which tasted like Haagen-Dazs and it's not too sweet which is hard to find. so definitely my new go-to spot. update: on second trip, had the thai iced tea which was wow with intense real flavors, and the milk n cookies which was a good cookie flavor update: on fourth trip, had hazelnut and coney island fudge, i liked latter wifey liked former

Obsessed with this ice cream! So creamy. So flavorful but naturally and not too sweet. The flavors are fun. I’ve never seen an olive oil cake but had to get it. Came in for strawberry! The strawberry was delicious mixed with a scoop of olive oil. now I can’t wait to come back and try all the flavors.

Great new ice cream addition to Park Slope featuring unique and standard flavors. The prices are also very reasonable. Tried the popcorn this time, looking forward to checking out more flavors

Sabrina is such a treasure! She goes above and beyond and is so welcoming with her warmth and beautiful smile. The ice cream is phenomenal. I love how, alongside the classics, there are those inventive flavors but they're not complicated with too many ingredients. I really enjoyed the classic chocolate ice cream and the fun sweet potato pie ice cream, which I purchased as a pint.

Really fun flavors abound at this relatively new shop—like popcorn, bourbon and waffles, and red velvet. The serving size is formidable. Come hungry, leave happy.

So excited to have Brix Haus open a second location! What sets this ice cream shop apart is their commitment to quality. You can taste the difference in every bite, and the ingredients are clearly chosen with care. Now, let's talk about the ice cream itself – each scoop is a work of art. Creamy, dreamy, and bursting with flavor. The menu boasts a delightful variety of both classic and unique flavors, ensuring there's something for every palate. Whether you're a devoted ice cream aficionado or just someone looking to treat yourself, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back for more scoops (and those really soft sweatshirts)!

Delicious and creative ice cream flavors, mango lassi tastes straight like a mango lassi drink you would get at an Indian restaurant.

Yelp
This has unique flavors made in small batches. Today we got cherry cola flavored ice cream and apricot sorbet along with watermelon sherbet. All flavors were pure and worked surprisingly well.

Yelp
The ice cream is fine, but the portion size is laughably small. The "1 scoop" is the smallest portion I've ever been served anywhere in my life, and was $5.50!! Really absurd. Will not be returning.

Yelp
I stopped in to Brix Haus to sample their goods. It is a tiny shop located on the same block as a well known Gelateria. I tried the Amarena Cherry. It was very tasty, but I thought that the portion was a bit small. Will somebody please adjust the soundtrack from worst of the 80's to something more modern? $5.99 for a tiny bit of Ice Cream? Is everybody in Park Slope rich?

Yelp
Pathetic serving size. $6 for basically 2 tablespoons of half melted ice cream. Limited selection. Not worth it or returning.
