Brixton Brewery Tap Room

25/10/24: Hemel Hempstead and Brixton Weekend. Fantastic tap room, plenty of choice. Doubles as a vinyl store, playing chilled out beats! Plenty of Brixton Brewery merchandise to buy too! Warm welcoming service!

Fun taproom in Brixton! We drink their canned beer and wanted to pop in to try in person. The taproom offers flights of three tastings, we ordered the reliance, low voltage, and off grid. All the beers were very tasty. The bartender was very friendly and conversational. Overall great experience!

My friend was showing me around the area and we went in here for a drink. Serving staff were accommodating - borderline sexy, however the vinyl guy was really rude to us to the point where we were so humiliated we left out of respect for him. I get he’s just there to childmind the records but my friend wanted to buy one and instead of helping us use the table told us we couldn’t listen to the music and snatched everything off us. We did wanna go back later in the evening but we’ve been absolutely devastated by the way he spoke to us literally in tears on the kitchen floor, Ive just now calmed down a bit because I’m going out later but I can’t get her to stop and don’t know what to do.

Great brewery. Flights were a solid way to try their line up. Highly recommend.

Nice vibe and good selection of local beers and ales! The Atlantic pale ale was particularly good. Hosted a get together here which about 15 people came to and they had plenty of standing room for us as well as tables indoors and outdoors.

The last time we came here it was located in a different arch. The tap room is well designed with seating inside and out. There is a men's urinal and a unisex toilet which can be confusing. There is a reasonable selection of craft beers and the prices are reasonable. No food is available other crisps. On the day we visited there was a steady footfall. Well worth a visit.

Took part in the brewery tour which included a tasting session. Our group were slightly late but were still well accomodated as they made sure to start only when we had all arrived. Tasting included the Coldharbour lager, Reliance pale ale and Electric IPA. Both brewers taking us on the tour were very knowledgeable and made it an enjoyable experience. It can be quite cramped in the taproom so if you are going for drinks only, make sure to arrive earlier!
