An Ode to the Mexican Mall Candy Store - Eater

My family and I visited Broadacres Marketplace this past weekend, and we had a great time strolling through the stands. The weather was perfect, and since we arrived early, it wasn’t too crowded, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely keep that in mind for future visits—arriving early seems to be the way to go. We checked out a few items we liked, but found that most things were a bit overpriced for what they were. However, if you enjoy negotiating, this is the place to be—many of the vendors are quite flexible with their prices. You can find everything from authentic Mexican food to motorcycle parts and used electronics. Overall, the marketplace was clean and well-organized. We didn’t have any major complaints and truly enjoyed our visit. I’ve also heard that on Friday nights, they have live Mexican music and concerts, which seems to be a popular attraction. I hope you have a great time if you decide to check it out!

$3 for weekend entry cards and cash available. They have everything in the world you need here and also to experience Mexican culture with their vendors, foods and music. Parking are a bit challenge to find if come late.

This was a ten out of ten experience! Best ATV spot in las vegas! I brought my brother for his 25 birthday And we both had a blast.Mind you, he is very hard to please. He has such a good time.He wants to make this our regular boy strip. Both tour guides were amazing. I highly recommend going.

Google
The vendors, security and atmosphere were great. Only reason they didn’t get the 5 stars was because last week I was denied entry because of the event that was going to take place. Their website says they’re open until 5 I got there at 4 and then they said that I had to paid for the event if I wanted to get in . They should update their website and hours to avoid the confusion

Google
Nice flea market full of Latin vendors & food. Just wish they were more specific with their hours as it states they close at 3pm on Sunday but we saw people still come in around that time. We asked around what time they closed and no one could give us a specific answer. We ended up leaving early even though we probably could have stayed a couple more hours

Some of the best food in Vegas... and don't get me started on the fresca! This is a must anytime we are in town. Worth the drive!

Yelp
I fairly enjoyed myself going for the first time. I'm glad I waited to go in the fall instead of summer because the temperature was quite comfortable. Walking around the large area. Lots of food choices. Lots of beer options as a shopping. I saw a lot of stuff but held back because at the same time I didn't need a lot of stuff. LOL . I would definitely go back and take the time to enjoy more of the food options, as I went not that hungry, so I didn't get lunch there. There is an entrance fee and today Sunday I paid $3.50 for an adult to get in. I think there should be an option that they should give the customers an opportunity to do, which is bring in a couple items of non-perishable food items, and they can donate it to a food, pantry or homeless shelter in exchange for entrance fee.

Yelp
Great place to check out, less than 20 minutes from the Strip. Lots of vendors, good food and just something different than shopping on the Strip.

Yelp
Searched Yelp and TicTok for flea markets in Las Vegas. I love to go on Sats when vacationing. 2.00 entry which was very reasonable, 20.00 Uber ride from the strip Area. If you're driving there is ample Parking that appeared free. Excellent selections of goods, food, and music. I'm not fond of the live small animal sales not the pony rides. I am Hoping the animals are treated Properly and checked on by animal Services. Purchased Latin pottery very reasonable prices. Everyone was nice and the bathrooms clean for the most part. Nice band area with ample seating. If you like strolling flea markets definitely check this one out.

Yelp
I was excited to go here after seeing it on social media. This place was huge and overwhelming. The food court alone was impressive!!!! There were so many choices, we had to walk around almost 3 times to finally make a final decision and narrow our choices down. You definitely need to visit the aguas frescas station, so many flavors, even fruit that i've never heard of and the best part is that you can sample anything and there's no limit. We also got the machete which is pretty much a quesadilla and it was really good. The other one that we got was the asada hot dog and that was a total surprise. No one was in line for it but it was actually the best thing we had. Don't get the churros at the food court, it tasted old and it was not good at all, didn't even eat half of it. The things they offer here are just endless. It's crazy the variety of vendors they have here. I really loved the glass containers section and also the Sanrio section. You never see that at a swamp meet. Make sure you get there super early. By the time we left it was early afternoon and people were having a hard time trying to find parking and there was traffic just trying to get in the actual parking lot.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere, food, and products here! it was just good to be able to shop outside in the sun while it is still cold outside. Love the live music and different booths

Yelp
I like this place, "DON'T GO DURING THE DAY IN SUMMER" Go Fridays nights !! Aguas frescas for $8dlls

Abigail G.

Yelp
I don't recommend this place at all unless you want to get your vehicle stolen, they tried to steal my truck today but couldn't, i reported to security and they said they couldn't do anything about it because apparently "this can happen anywhere" the whole security team is garbage most of all their supervisor she has all guards huddled up chatting by the entrance instead of patrolling the lots. Last time going there negative 0 star for me.

Kat K.

Yelp
We had to stop by the swap meet while at Vegas The weather was krazy hot We loved the blanco menudo Once u walk in the entrance , go straight to your right side their stall is on the right side Everything we ordered was delicious Must stop when we in Vegas

Yelp
Typical swapmeet goods, new and used goods, lots of toys and tools used items, clothing. Live music performances by Latin musicians. Food Court and a few rides for the kids.

Yelp
Best large outdoor flea market in town. Not sure why more tourists won't come to this paradise shopping area for cheap goods. It's a very authentic place filled with great deals and bargains. As with any similar markets, bring cash for convenience. I actually prefer this place over all indoor swap meets. Inexpensive. The entrance fee is so much cheaper than expected for the quality of experiences here. Good customer interactions. Huge selection of products to choose from. Good vibes and spacious to walk around. Belts, perfumes, clothes, toys, military uniform gears, nuts/bolts, furnishings, kitchen items, shoes, linens, art, etc. and more. Great place to buy gifts and find useful goods here. They also have an entertainment stage are always packed with people at those tables and chairs. Broadacres Marketplace has a very small horse riding/pony riding area for children too. Looks like heaven for carnivals and local festivals. There are plenty of good spaces to browse around for goodies. Compared to San Jose Flea Market on Berryessa in San Jose, California, this place is at least 3x much better and offers much more at lowest entrance fee price. Inventory selections and sizes are much bigger than most. They really have lots of interesting stuff at this flea market swap meet environment. Parking was free and lot size was huge! No problems looking for spaces here. It feels more empty than most flea markets visited. Not too crowded in my opinion. Yes, we will revisit when we have the urge to eat around here again. Excellent value for the entrance ticket.

Yelp
Fun place to stop while visiting Vegas. Off the beaten path and away from all the madness of the strip. We visited on a Saturday at noon and parking was challenging. Once finally in we were greeted by the sweet sounds of a live Banda and frosty beverages. An extra star for taking credit/ debit cards at the beer stands. This flea market had more used items than others so it was definitely a treasure hunt. A lot to see and a good way to spend the afternoon.

Yelp
What to do on a recent Sunday afternoon in March?! My lovely daughter suggested going to Broadacres Marketplace. Sounds good since I've never been to a swap meet or flea market at Sin City before. We stopped by after 2, The place was packed! We noticed the line reached all the way to the entrance of parking lot. Don't let the super long line discourage you from going to Broadacres. It actually moves fast, the place is huge so there is no waitlist when you get to front of line. There is a security check once you reach the front of line, $3.oo entrance fee on Sunday. This place is loud, colorful, HUGE, tons of vendors, I could get lost here which I did. There are rows and rows of vendors. I usually like to look at plants but only noticed one seller. I was surprised to see rides, games, like a carnival and out door swap meet all in one. There is even entertainment too. For locals and families, $3.00 is a great deal, you can kill many birds with one stone here, shop for stuff, have lunch, the kids can play games, rides, catch the entertainment, have a few drinks, everyone's happy! After browsing part of the marketplace, I got tired and it was getting hot so it was off to our next spot , but what did I end up getting here at Boardacres Marketplace, a nice top for my mom, plant pots, & $4. brand new flats from Target since my foot was in pain from the Tory B. Sandals, thank goodness I scored a cheap flats to get by on this trip! Support local, it is hard work for the vendors here setting up their booth. Wow. I see mattress and furniture sold here too, that is really hard core set up! Please wear those comfortable shoes, your appetite, & bring extra cash, when you visit Boardacres Marketplace!

Yelp
This place is fun, as they've got rides, plenty of food, and shopping. Wish the San Diego swap meets were like this one! Carnitas nachos: Overall, this was tasty, but the chips weren't freshly house made, 7.5/10. Carnitas torta: tender carnitas, but the bread was underwhelming, as it was thick and dry, 7/10. The vendors are inviting, and this place has a relaxing family vibe. They even have a park area, where you can just chill. Although, they even have musical performances at their their stage. This place is worth checking out.

Yelp
My wife and I had a great time at the concert on June 22 2024 with Banda Recodo. Bar staff was awesome and remembered my order each time I went for drinks. However, the event hostest who probably controls the views on this platform was a huge disappointment. She was offering raffel tickets and purposefully passed my wife by while giving her a nasty look. I'm not sure what the issue was? I had already paid more than 50 dollars in tips to our bartender for 3 rounds of drinks. My wife is a good looking woman and idk if the hostess felt threatened or what but that is completely unacceptable. Coming from a hospitality background myself I know that you are supposed to check whatever personal issues you have at the door and provide the best experience for your guests. She failed in this point. The rest of the staff was great. I hope they replace this * lady before our next return. And if there us any confusion I'm talking about the blonde lady on stage announcing the bands.

Yelp
This place is HUGE!! Be sure to bring your walking shoes because this place goes on forever. There are tons of vendors, a food hall, and a bandstand for performers. Plus most of the vendors have great prices. The only downsides were that most of the stands are cash only and that a lot of the vendors have the same items. Square readers are free and so is PayPal/Zelle/venmo ect, so there's no excuse to not use them.
google avatar

Luis V.

Yelp
We visited this place this past weekend first time here recommended by a friend of mine. There is a lot of vendors and they have a lot of variety of stuff they sell. There is a lot of items priced at reasonable prices. The best part after your done shopping they have plenty of food vendors and also live music and entertainment on Sundays. Free parking but arrive early to find a parking spot close to the entrance. The entrance fee was $3.50 per person. We had a great time!
google avatar

Kelmin J.

Yelp
It was by chance that I stopped by, but the timing was perfect. Despite the weather I had a wonderful time and plan on coming back soon. There are a plethora of items for sale, from bed frames to backpacks. The food and snack selection is vast and very delicious. Bring cash because not every place accepts cards. The prices were very good and I did not feel o broke the bank. The vendors were very kind and were helpful when you had questions. I recommend this place

Yelp
Visiting from California and we absolutely loved visiting this sweapmeet. Take a hat, sunglasses and comfy shoes. Cash only, entrance is $2. I have never seen anything like it! This is just a few things I saw. -arcade -kids open play space - pony ride (real ones!) - operating fair (rides) - live entertainment (group singing) - food- lots of it - barber shop (esthetician working) - beer garden - fresh fruit and vegetables - pet store (birds, bunnies, ducks and baby chicks).
google avatar

Cathy C.

Yelp
I went here with friends so we can eat some machetes - not the Danny Trejo kind. There's a $2 entrance fee - cash only which my friends failed to tell me. They have security that check if you have any weapons on you because apparently, somebody got shot here before which again was only disclosed to me on the way out. This big outdoor swap meet has a lot of stuff. Mattresses, toys, clothes, clothes, electronics, snacks, animals, etc. I wasn't here to buy any of that stuff. I went here for the food! They have churros, tacos, fried spiral potatoes, aguas frescas, pizza, funnel cakes, pastries, machetes, quesadillas, burritos, boba tea (yup!), pozole, etc. We got machetes, aguas frescas, and funnel cakes. But I really wanted the spiral potatoes too. There's a food stall my friend owns and I wanted to try but they were closed that day we went. I just have to come back next time before it gets hot again. I can't imagine coming here in the summer - and my friends have tried dragging me here since July!

Yelp
HUGE MARKETPLACE.....the size is well worth the trip. Great food vendors (sit down and standing). Many selections of wares to choose from swap meet to actual quality products. The value for your dollars goes far at this marketplace. The venders give great service and pride themselves on value. Overall, if you're looking for something to do outside the normal while in Vegas or Nevada, check out the Broadacres Marketplace.....it's a lot of walking but we'll worth the trip. Many different foods, cultural and diverse foods and products.
google avatar

Shantel M.

Yelp
Pretty much what you are looking for, you'll possibly find it. From toiletries, ceiling fans, lights, home items. They have it for a good price! They got a whole lot of different types of foods, desserts and refreshing drinks to cool you down on a sunny day. Parking is free. Entrance is $2 for adults. Kids are free from a certain height. Can't recall, I think 54". They are open on Fridays at 4 and Saturday and Sundays are 6am to I believe 4pm. The early bird catches the worm.
google avatar

Rachel M.

Yelp
I moved to Vegas from California so you already know I am a Mexican food snob! This market place reminds me of the swap meet I used to go to with my sister in San Bernardino! Plenty of Hispanic flare with a lot of food choices! Lucky for Ruby's tacos because I wanted empanadas from next door and the lady says "oh you don't want these, they are bad"... ok. So I got a Torta and tacos el pastor from Rubys and I must say, they were delicious!! A great way to spend the Saturday!!
google avatar

Tracee Joy W.

Yelp
New to the area, I looked up swap meets here on Yelp. Chose one at random - which was the Fantastic Indoor Swap Meet. It was aisles & aisles of cheap crap from overseas. Not what I was looking for. (Small "antique" section"). Wanted to try this swap meet, dubbed more of a "flea market", which was exactly what I was looking for! We were in the parking lot for 20 minutes - could not find a spot (nor could the other 50 cars circling the lot). It was an absolute MADHOUSE. Ended up leaving without getting to go inside. Extremely disappointing!

Hilda R.

Yelp
First time at Broadacres Marketplace and it was a great experience. Lots of good food and Mexican treats.
google avatar

Yelp
Looking for a fun place to hang out, look at all kinds of vendor items, listen to music and eat some great food? Look no further!! Broadacres has several vendors who have all kinds of items from new to used, clothing, tools, hats, Knick knacks, appliances, animals, furniture, decor, shoes, boots, work items, jewelry, lamps, handicap items, produce and much much more! You can shop and look for hours easily. Stop and get a great snack or lunch. There are plenty of food vendors to choose from. Their are live bands if you want to take a break. Not to mention their is plenty of parking and it's cheap to get in. So go check it out!!
google avatar

Apple S.

Yelp
I was surprised how large this venue is!!! Enormous! Yet I was able to park easily and get in fast. Entry was $2 on Saturday. There was live music. So many booths! And a huge food court!
google avatar

MIchael D.

Yelp
Biggest flea market in Las Vegas. There is something for everyone. Great Mexican food, lots of items to buy and live band music. Drinks are amazing especially the michellada.

Yelp
Bring CASH! Like a mini county fair for adult is $3 admission! Local fun Flee market/Swap meet with random items, rides, games, concert, and BEST Mexican food I've had. No hard alcohol but there's 32oz beers for $9.50 with spice around the rim (+$3 for clamato added in), $5 seltzers. Speaking and reading Spanish would be very helpful (or else learn via Google translate). Reminds me of back in days SoCal LA Whittier Park festivals, or Santa Fe Springs Swap Meet nights. Everything is outdoor. Food hall is covered from above. Parking is free and gets packed. Very family oriented, lots of kids. Entrance moves fast. Definitely a place for foodies, families with skin dependants, teens, date night or fun with friends over drinks to stroll around. I didn't see any fur babies here. I think we stuck out more being the only 2 Asian looking customers there? We grew up in mixed Asian/Latino community, so we felt weird there wasn't more Asian there too haha But my brother did say the Asian or even ethnic mixed Vegas community is tiny compare to LA. Mexican FOOD we tried was amazing. Hands down better than east LA in price, and quality. BEST carnitas I've ever eaten!! It was moist, not greasy or oily, with great texture. We thought we needed to add our own salt, but not necessary here. I can't eat dairy (popular line was Machetes quesadilla), so we picked - LA Botana (means snack) because I love carnitas! We got the Botana de Carintas $8 plate (enough for 2 semi-hungry ppl). I asked for mixed so they added in skin too. I crave going back. Then at the end of our strolling, we called back for last round at the corner shop called - Gorditas El Fogon with bar seating. The sope was super heavy $4 (like dense pancake), Gorditas $3.50 (cheesey for the SO). Handmade tortillas sold us. I'm not a sope fan or normally every order order sope cause it's usually too heavy for me but liked it for what it was. Booth and bar seating are within and around the outdoor food hall cover. Swap Meet/Flea Market items include used, new appliances to handmade items....Giant straw hats, $50 leather boots, restaurant supplies, appliances, mattresses, incense and stones, belts, jewelry, toys, homemade shoes to more unique homemade good. Snack tents, fruit tents, drink tents. Carnival rides, and carnival games with prizes. Kids and teens buy silly string to snapper poppers to play in public. Adults wanting to play too? Theres foosball, retro video games to play with others, or live music concert. Any gummy candy lovers? Best time to get candy from here is warmer weather like end of May or June. All the gummies are soft!! Gross but other gummy candy lovers would appreciate this haha

Yelp
Food, shopping, music, rides...what more can you ask for! This is a place for families to gather and eat and socialize!! So much fun!
google avatar

Leanne C.

Yelp
So much fun! Went on Sunday. $3.00 to get in per person. Food was so delicious, who doesn't love red beers!! Live music! Go to the swapmeet before it gets too hot. You will have a great time.

Yelp
First time checking out Broadacres. Great place to hang out with family and friends. Tons of vendors, food, music. Parking is a little tricky so we opted to park in a nearby neighborhood and walk to the entrance. Overall, super fun spot to spend the afternoon.
google avatar

Gill P.

Yelp
Big swap meet numerous vendors mostly Latino/Mexican merch. Enjoyed the food court Mechete was a great Mexican spot very tasty and well seasoned meat.

Vegas L.

Yelp
who approved of this ride that has no safety harness to go over the shoudlers of this ride going upsode down

Donnovan A.

Yelp
I thought this was an amazing place to come to but there it was not anything like FANTASTIC! Where is all the sports stuff?
google avatar

Pay D.

Yelp
So many things you can pick up at this swap meet, and most of the food is amazing and inexpensive. A must, If you like thrifting and flea markets! I recommend going before noon during the spring/summer months as it can get super unbearable outside.

Brenda G.

Yelp
Lots of good priced items! Good walk! We go to buy the odd items and you are able to negotiate. Some stuff like construction tools are not so cheap tho.
google avatar

Amanda K.

Yelp
Pretty much of a dump to sell things. Poverty crowd this is not willing to spend more than dollar. Waste of time for sellers.

Berlin G.

Yelp
Best swapmet in Las Vegas . I always have a good time here. There are things for everyone in the family . Great food drinks and vendors .

Victoria H.

Yelp
Too much commercial new products they need to sell elsewhere I want cheap used items not China items
google avatar

Dena H.

Yelp
I didn't enjoy coming here on a Friday night. Some places have lights so you can see but it's very hard to go through everything. Also the layout is very chaotic and you can get lost very easily. Over time the vendors became repetitive *** if you're looking for the lost mail from tiktok they don't have that anymore. Instead it's just liquidation items. Expensive too.
google avatar

Cal D.

Yelp
This place is better then bonanza for Las Vegas souvenirs. Restaurants are also good but the prices on food items is to expensive. Aguas frescas for 8 dollars should be more like 5 dollars.
google avatar

Paul I.

Yelp
This place is huge and fairly clean considering. Every swap meet has its own distinctions and personality and this place is one that you would have to go to at least once to get a better feel for yourself. As far as what is sold by the vendors, I cannot really describe it. I can say that there is a lot more variety at the swap meet than most other swap meets that I have been to. For example there is one vendor who sells only vacuum cleaners, most have been restored and repaired while some are brand new. There are a couple of vendors who sell leather products like belts and wallets they got from Mexico. They have a huge food court with plenty of Mexican food options as well. I doubt I will ever go again but I had a great time walking through the swap meet
google avatar

Tricia D.

Yelp
I absolutely love Broadacres. Since my first review the swap meet has changed so much. I've been coming here a lot this past year with my friends on the weekends. My favorite is Friday night, they serve THE BEST Micheladas in town!! The stalls have so many options, the swap meet is full from gate to gate, end to end. The people are nice, the prices are great. Food is delicious, so many great options!! I highly recommend Broadacres, especially on Friday nights!
google avatar

Row P.

Yelp
It's always a good time at Broadacres! Out door swap meet. Open on Friday night's 4-11pm $3.00 entry, Saturday 6am - 5pm $2.00 entry and Sunday 6am - 5pm. A good place to get your walking steps in, some shopping there's lots of vendors, kids area, live music, food, fresh fruits, all sorts of drinks and desserts. Oh and CHURROS! My absolute fave are the Churros served hot, it's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and nicely coated with sugar. If you haven't gone yet definitely a place to check out.

Alberto G.

Yelp
Each shop has its own service but they're all amazing, they offer a grand selection of things because each shop is unique and has varies of things to buy.
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
I love this place. Brought back old memories when I was a kid and would sell here with my uncle. I came to bring stuff to sell got there a little late but still sold most my stuff. all the remainder things I gave away to all my new vendor friends I made there. :)
google avatar

Pablo M.

Yelp
Had a good time strolling around, searching for plushies for my son...a large percentage of the stalls didn't open early, so I did wind up wandering a bit later than I'd have liked. But plenty to browse
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
Get off the Strip and enjoy some local fun! This is a friendly and authentic place to immerse yourself in Latino food, culture, and music. Bring cash!
google avatar

Pat P.

Yelp
This place is massive and you can easily spend half a day here. You are likely able to find just about anything you need from the vendors that are here. Huge Hispanic influence as far as items, food and drinks. At night, they have live music (Hispanic) and they even have games and rides like a mini-carnival. The swap meet is outdoors so plan accordingly with the weather. Even though you see families and lots of small children running around, the night time crowd can sometimes be a bit rowdy. I have seen a couple of altercations in the last couple times I've been here but they also have security on site and are quick to respond and remove aggressors out.
