The 9 Best Restaurants & Pubs In The Cotswolds

"Broadway Deli is Whole Foods for people who are OK with a bit of soil on their parsnips. And if you get excited at seeing a ploughman’s on the menu, you’ll love this treasure trove of a deli. Room after room is packed with produce that you don’t need—bagel dust, black garlic beer, a myriad of chutneys—but will definitely want. In the garden, sausage rolls and hearty toasties are served with sides of crisps, French vinaigrette is liberally applied to all salads, and there's a real affinity for slabs of quiche. Which all feels endearingly old-fashioned. It’s not the best food you’ll eat in the Cotswolds, but we love that it feels like popping for lunch at your grandparents’ fictional farm. Broadway deli is know for produce and the deli but their restaurant food is fantastic. There is a great room upstairs for larger group that is very cozy. Cheese Souffle was the best I ever had. Food was way better than expected. High recommend.

Had no clue what this spot was so I checked it out. WOW! What an amazing place to visit. Upon walking in- you don’t know where to look! It is literally packed from from to ceiling, tables cleverly placed, even food lined up on the staircase- with all types of European goods. You sort of venture around hunting for what speaks to you food wise! (there’s 2 floors & many rooms!) Everything is beautifully displayed (crazy how much stuff they pack in here!) Lots to look at. They also have fresh baked goods, deli selections, and hot food to order! If you're in Broadway, it's well worth a visit! There literally is something for everyone in here (including vegan finds- see picture!)

Broadway Deli is a gem in the heart of the Cotswolds! I picked up some clotted cream fudge, marmalades, and their Scotch eggs, and everything was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and the deli itself is charming and full of high-quality, locally-sourced goodies. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

I just LOVED this place. The store is full of fresh and packaged foods that all look tempting. Their fresh baked goods are delightful. We had the vegan breakfast which was so good.

Had drinks and patisserie in the garden seating area to the rear of the building. Their exquisite Chocolate and Salted caramel tart is to die for (will be back for more). Hot drinks were tepid, rather than hot, which is my only gripe. Friendly and welcoming service. Can't wait to come back.

Deli breakfast here was a delight, complete with thickly cut, buttered toast. This is an original and quirky cafe and deli with a lovely garden out back. Beautifully presented stock and very helpful staff.

Lovely friendly staff, beautiful coffee (in cool little cups!) and a beautiful soup. Gluten free bread was unusually decent, too (Schar, I think, rather than Genius). The shop is a treasure trove of delicious-looking foods (from jams and sauces to beers, fruits and vegetables) and the branded tuk tuk outside is a nice touch.

We visited Broadway last week and whilst wandering around, came across this stunning Deli. There were so many lovely things in here that it would have been easy to come away with more items than the car could carry! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and we’ll definitely pop back in the next time we’re in Broadway.
