When I first walk in there, the atmosphere was great and everything looked amazing. When I went to the counter to ask what I want and the pizza maker made sure to help me choose what it is I’m looking for and I told him that I’m looking for just sauce pizza since I’m half vegan and he made sure to do that for me. I got a regular cheese pizza and when it was done, he didn’t hesitate to ask me if he wanted me to remove the cheese, I said are you sure, he said yes it’s fine and that right there tells you a lot about a person. He made sure to ask me before doing it, making sure that I’m also satisfied with the service he is giving and the pizza. There a lot of vegetables options, so for all the vegans and vegetarians they do custom-made pizza as well. Check them out and you won’t be disappointed.

My favorite pizza shop shop since a little girl. They have this pasta pizza that I tried a week ago & it was amazing. This week I had a regular slice w some mozzarella sticks and my friend got spinach and chicken Alfredo. The customer service is amazing. Totally recommend this spot ❤️

On 4.10 I had the worst experience at this pizza establishment. The girl with the septum piercing was racist. She made a derogatory remark about me to the other lady. She made reference to my skin tone in Spanish unbeknownst to her I'm a Latina so I understood her. I enjoy their pizza but I was left with a bitter taste after this experience. Ppl need to mindful of their choice of words because you don't know who understands. -⭐

Good food. Only issue is the pricing. They charge Tax. On food. I ordered the chicken parm. On a hero. It was 9.75 which already is crazy. But then they taxed me and charged an extra 75 cents to total 10.50

Baby!! I don't regularly eat pizza , it's just never been my thing but one day in between locations at work I decided to stop in and see what they had as im definitely not eating fast-food meaning mickey dees ect... Baby I ordered the meat lovers slice and fell in love. Every time i'm in the area I literally schedule myself around stopping by here. Yes it's that serious. They have a large menu so whatever you want from lasagna to a plain slice.

I ordered using Uber eats. Craving Pasta! I was disappointed in my meal for a few reasons. Eggplant parmigiana listed under pastas dinners doesn’t come with pasta. Pasta is listed as a side. It wasn’t clear that there would be no pasta until I received it. Because I chose a vegetable as a side thinking an Eggplant parm dinner included pasta. Additionally I received a phone call to clarify how I wanted the shrimp I chose as an add on prepared. I was then told that the prices on Uber Eats were wrong and I would be charged additionally. But is that not the responsibility of the establishment to ensure things are correct? Thank goodness this wasn’t a case where I didn’t have additional funds to cover your error. Anyhoo for the $39 I spent the hard garlic bread, warm soda and the pasta with no pasta were a waste. And the shrimp that I asked to be grilled definitely wasn’t grilled and was rubbery.

The best place to get pizza & pasta!! After you have their food no other place can compare. Don’t walk to go there RUN!!

Average pizza shop at those "I love" prices. Not as balanced as your classic NYC Sauce, dough, cheese tang (little soggy and the dough is a little thick) but still yummy regardless. For 25 bucks I got this giant pie 3 bottled sodas, a can, and a pitcher of coke. I mean it doesn't get much better than that. When in this area I highly recommend that you try this place.

The most bland, overcooked, & tasteless spaghetti & meatballs I have ever had. Absolutely disgusting. The pasta is dry, the meatballs taste leathery. Funny enough the lady who took my order raved about how they make them fresh there. Absolute trash.

Superior service! Relatively easy stop off the highway when road tripping and you don't want to go all the way to Manhattan but want a good quality, ginormous slice of NY style pizza! Four slices for two people filled a large box!

They're not bad, but quite honestly, walk west on 231 under the el another block and a half to Sam's for a REALLY good slice. I only come here if I want a specialty slice.

No never, ever will I order from here again. I decided to try something different as I've never had Broadway Pizza before. The GrubHub app stated 75 minutes which hey for a Friday isn't bad. The food got here in less than an hour which was looking promising. The order was correct but upon finishing the two slices and wrap my throat began to hurt and I started to burn up. I couldn't sleep and the next day the bed and bathroom were the only two places I could go. I threw up the food and went to urgent Care to be told I had the flu. Before eating the food I was fine. Either someone there was sick OR someone didn't wash their hands. I will never order from here again. I missed four days of work and spent $75 between urgent care and the medicines. I wanted to try someplace new and got punished.

Good pizza and good people. Everyone here is friendly and the pizza is the best I have tried in Kingsbridge. The have all flavors and everything is fresh.

I've been going to them for years. Tonight I ordered Chicken Frances and it was not good so my husband called them you let them know. They kindly asked if he wanted something else and sent it right over no questions asked. I appreciate that more than anything at a time like this. Btw I asked for fettuccine Alfredo and it's the best I've ever had. Thanks guys great customer service!

OK, it's official -- can't order from here. My kid likes the wings, so despite having some crappy delivery service from them, I kept at it. Cold food arriving way late, 97% of the time. Maybe they are good in house, but delivery service is just straight up bad. And as there are a lot of choices -- and my kid has gone vegetarian! -- I'm done with this place. Strongly suggest you order elsewhere.

I have to say this an establishment I hate to patronize. I want to say in the course of 1 year, I've been to this establishment once. If my son wasn't so hungry, and I didn't have heavy bags, I would've walked to the other pizza shop. And every time I come here I state that I'll never come back, because of the horrible service . The food is good, it's the staff who are beyond unprofessional, obnoxious and rude; with the exception of the person making the pizza. He was the only one who presented with a courteous disposition. I patiently waited while the woman at the front and the delivery man had their little "back and forth" conversation about late deliveries. The woman had an attitude while she took my money and was rude when giving me the change. Additionally, she made no eye contact and did not thank me. What happened between the people who ordered food for delivery and the delivery man had nothing to do with me for that woman to be so rude.Additionally, that conversation should not have happened with a patron in the store. I felt unvalued as a patron.

Pizza was delivered and half of the pie's Cheese was off the pizza and in the corner of the box... they had the nerves to offer me 15% off my next purchase as opposed to a new Pie, how insensitive is that. Super poor customer service. I'm done with them.

Great friendly service. I ate here often in my younger days. Friendly banter you'd expect at a pizza spot. Right near the 231 Street train stop on the 1 line.

The pizza is great but nobody wants to pay TAXES on a slice of pizza, the unwritten rule is "A Slice of pizza should always be the same price as meteo card fare"$2.75 this aint midtown this is the bronx.

Maybe it's just the staff there. The Owners reached out within 24 hours and fixed the problem LIKE THAT! Kudos to them. Like I said the food is AMAZING! Baked ziti slice, penne vodka with shrimp, wings its all good. My mouth is wartering right now I'm so hungry I might just order from them tonight! Kristina you rock!

Road to 2016 #1 This coming from the Bronx in the Kingsbridge area, when i think of a family owned pizza shop,I think of this place! this is my neighborhood pizza shop I always get pizza from so to pay my respect to this place I thought of placing this review showcasing how good this family owned shop is! "Pizza... want more pizza" they have an assortment of pizza and you can basically have any topping you desire(just ask and they will exceed your expectations!) pricing is very reasonable, for a plain slice of pizza it is about 1.75 and if you like extra cheese (my suggestion for those who have those munchies in) its about 2.75 and man the pizza comes out nice and fresh from the oven and you see the cheese ooze out with greatness on your plate. you know its a good pizza when the oil is trying to escape the plate. "the people" depending on the time you take this trip to this pizza shop will determine your experience here, reason being some of the employees could have attitudes so bring a space of headphones and your phone so you can tone them out. sometimes the Bronx way can be a bit rough. overall this is a wonderful spot for pizza with lost of family history and the history is shown in the way they make their pizza.

Soggy slices and sour, slimy mushrooms, my pizza was falling apart no matter how carefully I tried picking it up. Those "garlic knots" were literally dinner rolls with dried parmesan on top. Despite being difficult to eat, the taste wasn't completely inedible. However, customer service here is a wreck. Despite physically coming in here to order my food, they completely forgot to call my order when it was done. So what should have been a 15 minute wait turned into a 40 minute wait after we finally came up to ask about it. My bad for being patient, I guess. Other than it's generous late-night convenience, there's no real reason to come to this pizza joint. It's pricey, the pizza and service sucks, and there are so many other pizza joints on the street.

Fast and friendly counter staff and clean seating. The plain slice for $3.25 feels kind of steep (compared to my neighborhood pizza places in Manhattan) but sometimes you are hungry near the W231 Street 1 train stop and you can't wait another hour and half before you get home.

It had been several years since I moved out of the borough. The pizza is still what I remembered. Quick service too

Amazing Pizza Love it I am a born and raised Brooklyn girl who is very picky with Pizza and I have to say this pizza is exactly like a slice you would find in Brooklyn the only thing I wish was they stayed open a little later on weekends other than that I love it I brought my cousin there to try it we ended up getting 2 slices John your pizza is the best

3 stars! Not four or five as I used to feel about this place. 3 reasons: My delivery took FOREVER to get here. (An hour an a half opposed to the usual 45 mins tops.) Ordered for delivery in Dyckman, and delivery man was pretty rude. While receiving the order, he complained that it is very far and even questioned if anyone had delivered here. Mind you, I've delivered countless times from this place with no problem. Phone girl was a sweetheart (as usual) but unfortunately RAPED me for a chicken-less Caesar salad; $12 for a handful of lettuce with stale croutons and carrot shavings. WHAT! Fettuccine chicken Alfredo was extremely oily, pasta was overcooked and slimy. Seriously Broadway Pizza, the food used to be way better. I don't know what happened man.... Until they improve their service and quality of food, I won't be ordering from here for a while.

Broadway Pizza & Pasta is pretty excellent. Extremely friendly, fantastic menu items & atmosphere. Each and every single menu item that we purchased was super fresh and flavorful. The crew is really welcoming. I really liked that. We will definitely be back to Broadway Pizza & Pasta.

Over an hour and a half wait for the order. Everything was cold. Not sure what all the hype is about this place. A swing and a miss in my book

What the hell?? Went there not too long ago to get a slice and I had to take out a second mortgage. If I was on a date and he paid I know that I would have been obligated to give him the goodness, that's how expensive it was. now I'm expecting some damn good pizza for a the money I paid but lo and behold it was garbage. The sauce was non existent, the cheese wasn't melted, I've had way better slices for $1. Never again and also there were flies everywhere. If you want to throw away money and get less than mediocre food this is the place to go

I always enjoy a plain slice from this place. Good sauce/cheese ratio, fresh tasting, yummy. Chicken slices and such taste not as fresh but still ok. A good neighborhood staple!

I was going to give it 5 stars, but then I remembered how horrible it can be after 2:30. When all the kids come out of school, it's a total mess. Some people are taking chairs from other tables so it will leave you with one chair at a table. I usually HAVE take the food to go. The food is delicious. Just wish it would expand. Delivery depends on where you live. Sometimes they feel like delivering to me, and sometimes they don't & I live on Heath.. Go figure.

Just placed an order for pickup and there was hair in the pasta. When i went to take it back the owner goes "mistakes happens it gets busy in here" hair should not be happening in my food. Horrible !

Pizza is very traditional New York - thin, simple and tasty. Garlic knots are fresh, fluffy and yummy.

This place would get five stars, if only the seating was improved. There's only a few tables, mostly serving about four people each. Therefore, if there's a single diner, that's pretty much one whole table gone. You'll probably find the tables taken. But other than that, the pizza is delicious. I'm very picky about pizza. Some crusts can be too crunchy and painful. However, this pizza is just the right texture to where I'm not left in pain after. The ingredients are fresh and tasty, too. In addition, the service is great. You can tell it's a neighborhood place. There's a lot of families, and a lot of the workers know the customers well. It's pretty cheap, and the slices are HUGE! I've been three times already, and mind you, I live on the complete other side of the Bronx.

$31 for a large pie and wings , a little to expensive for dry pizza and wings with hot sauce.

The Garlic Knots are what I give 4 stars. They are so yummy and delicious, so fluffy and moist that you can not help it but order a few with you home. The Pizza is not bad either. It is a simple New York style pizza with a thin crust and a lot of grease from the cheese. It is good but not great, so what gives it 4 stars is their service, and their garlic knots. The garlic knots are just so yummy that I simply have to mention them again, The staff is very friendly and your order are quick. Even though there is not table service they are always good at coming by and making sure we have what we need. Just a great, friendly place. Did I mention that the price also is a part of the 4 stars??

I think this place really deserves a 3.5 star rating(come on yelp! make this a possibility for us!). The staff is usually very pleasant and the selections are awesome due to their various specialty slices, and yet despite the variety and friendly staff, I still feel that the finished product needs a little work. The pizza just lacks that certain oomph factor that makes me want to go back with any sense of frequency.

Monday afternoon, after shopping, I was craving pizza...I popped into Broadway Pizza shop and discovered a great new to me place... Fresh out of the oven, Mom and I both enjoyed a plain slice. Simply the best: fresh crispy crust- folded in 1/2 and it held it's own for each and every bite of tasty cheese and real Italian pizza sauce!

The best veggie pizza ever.....I have been going to this place forever. And I have never had any complaints for the veggie slices to plain to eggplant parm. The staff as always been pleasant and inviting. Great family neighborhood eatery!!!!!

I ordered from this place with some consistency from 2007 - 2012. I see several other reviews which indicate that this place can be hit or miss. Perhaps I was lucky enough to have almost all hits. If you're going to have pizza from this place, drop in. The pizza is fresh, hot, and ready to go in a hurry. There's usually a crowd so nothing hangs out for very long. I've had regular, sicilian, white, and buffalo chicken slices and they're all good. For delivery, they're more miss than hit. I'd advise against it altogether. If you're dead set on it, make sure you order at least an hour ahead and get your toaster oven ready to crisp up those soggy slices.

What, what, what? I'm surprised by the other reviews - I actually like their pizza! Granted, I'm not a native New Yorker, I'm a transplant. That said, I occasionally CRAVE pizza from here. Edit: I forgot to mention how good the dough/crust is. Looovveee it.

So I just moved back to NY from PA, and I'm looking for a new pizza place to makeup for the lackluster slices I have been subjected to over the last few years. I'm used to Morris Park and Throgs Neck (most of my youth was spent out there), but I'm living in the Riverdale-Kingsbridge area so I need something local. I'm not expecting something to live up to the food in the Italian neighborhood I used to live in, but something close and decent works. My grandmother who has been living around here forever suggested Broadway Pizza & Pasta. Sure there are other places closer to her, but she can't stand them (and I don't blame her). However, this place isn't much better. Granted we have a difference of opinion when it comes to thin crust, she digs it, but this is about more than the crust. Consistent? I think not. First time it tasted like a typical thin crust place (I am not a fan of thin crust). The second time it was far from thin, but I was still not crazy about it. How do you rate a slice that tastes different with every bite? Completely tasteless for the first few bites, then cheesy goodness for a few seconds, until you reach the dried out dough zone halfway through it. What is going on here? I could have been to 3 or 4 different pizza places and not gotten this much variety in a plain slice. I suppose they have saved me a few trips. However I am far from grateful. It's bigger than some other neighborhood shops, but not by much. I suppose eventually I'll have to update this for the pasta in "Broadway Pizza & Pasta". There were people on tables to either side of me saying it was pretty good... I'm guessing they meant good for a little pizza place.

Whenever I go here and eat there food im sick the next day! It never fails!! The prices are a bit to high. The owner and his wife are nice people though.

I downloaded yelp just for this. They have a special, 2 slices and a fountain soda for 5.75. First the sign outside says 5 dollars. I go to pay and end up spending 6.75. Tax? a regular slice is 2.75. Do they charge over 3 bucks for a small and thin overcooked regular slice? Dont know, wont find out. So taking the special I save .50 cents on a FOUNTAIN SODA that is about half a can? Wow, what a deal. NOT. Why not just be honest? If they wanted to bait and switch then good job. If they were trying to make me feel like an idiot then well done. If not they just lost a local customer that gave them a second chance. Their pizza sucks also. Its way too thin and dry, and is usually over cooked, REHEATED all day. I dont mind paying a couple cents more, but to be lied to is unacceptable. To spend nearly 7 dollars for a quick snack is absurd. I could have had lunch anywere else for that. Charge what you charge and be done with it. Dont LIE to me. Never going back.

I have been coming here since I was a child and I'm now in my 20s and this is by far my favorite pizza spot. The flavor is amazing. I always come in for a cheese slice and beef patty with cheese. Thank you for still being around!

Pizza here is not bad. Not that good tho. But what bothers me most is the prices! The prices dont match the quality of food u get. For 2 slices and 2 cans of soda i paid 10$! That ridiculous! And the people that work there are rude. Wont be coming back unless prices drop! Too expensive!

This place has horrible customer service. I had place an order for delivery and after waiting patiently for over an hour, I called to check on the delay. The lady insured me that the food was on route and that it should be there any minute so I waited. A few minutes after we hung she called back to inform me that the food was brought back because "no one answered the door". Meanwhile no one called and/or rang the door bell ... So I told her to just cancel the order and to place the money back on my card. She insisted on sending the food back out with an attitude and since I refused she replied with sarcastic remarks. I normally never write a negative review but I do not appreciate rudeness and the fact that she threaten to write my apt number down to refuse serving me again.

This is some of the worst NY pizza I've ever had. It's really very easy to get NY pizza right (it's another thing to get it very right), but my slice here was the first time in a lifetime of living in New York that I encountered stale crust. They probably don't keep their pizza fresh. Avoid.

Solid plain slice, wasn't terribly impressed with the grandma slice which was essentially Sicilian with big chunks of tomato. Certainly not bad, I would definitely stop by to try some of their other choices. Service was pretty quick, nothing to be overly dramatic about.

absolutely the worst excuse for pizza in the entire neighborhood. it took them over an hour to deliver a medium pie to less than two blocks away. when the pizza finally showed up, it was barely room temperature. worse than that, the pizza was almost inedible. the middle of the pizza was as thick as the crust, unacceptable. my friend couldn't even finish one slice before she tossed it in the trash, where it belonged. do not under any circumstances eat here. throw your money away elsewhere.

All kitchen entrees are delicious, fettuccine florentine is my favorite. i order regularly and always satisfied!

This is awful pizza. Rubbery and sauce out of a can. The main patrons of this place are school kids. So if you like Middle School pizza, then you might like this place. Otherwise, steer clear.
