Happening brunch & dinner spot revered for its French toast & patio with views of La Jolla Cove.
"A restaurant in La Jolla known for its scenic views and diverse menu offerings." - Erin Perkins
"Plenty of spots in La Jolla offer great views of the Pacific Ocean, but none of them do french toast the way Brockton Villa does. Their Coast Toast is made by preparing baguette bread soufflé style, making for a thicker, more custardy bite with crisp edges. It’s the perfect base for toppings like berry jam and a hint of orange on their classic option, or the bananas foster version sitting in a puddle of rum butter sauce and topped with caramelized bits of fruit. Parking might be hard to find, and there will likely be some flustered families on vacation with the kids. But it’s all worth it to sit on their covered patio facing the water, watch the sea lions from afar, and cut into some top-tier french toast." - Sabrina Medora

"The historic former residence turned cafe overlooks La Jolla Cove. The Coast Toast is their version of French toast with a souffled center, flavored with orange curacao and Tahitian vanilla. The carnitas chilaquiles with steamed scrambled eggs and slow-cooked pork is another favorite." - Helen I. Hwang
"While they’re finalizing the Barrio Logan location, Barracruda will be previewing its menu on Saturday, April 1 via a pop-up speakeasy at Brockton Villa in La Jolla, pairing new dishes with beer, wine, and cocktails." - Candice Woo
