Bronwyn is a vibrant German-inspired tavern boasting a fun beer garden and hearty house-made sausages, perfect for casual gatherings and Oktoberfest celebrations.
"Both cozy and lively, Bronwyn serves German and Eastern European classics like house-made sausages, spätzle, pierogi, and schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce in a rustic setting decked out with iron chandeliers and wooden chairs cushioned by velvet. The restaurant also has a charming biergarten, and a fun list of German beers, wines, and interesting cocktails." - Nathan Tavares, Valerie Li Stack
"If you’ve been looking for a place to bring your tight-knit group of friends for a casual night of good beer and hearty dishes, look no further than Bronwyn. The dining room is filled with old-school ornate steins stored above dark medieval furniture, and it’s one of the greatest places to sip some light haus bier, snack on warm pretzels, and order smoky sausages and crispy pork schnitzel. Aside from that, they’ve got 16 wines all available by the bottle or glass that are really good, too. And yes, it will be busy here in October." - tanya edwards, lala thaddeus

"Union Square’s German restaurant Bronwyn has a cozy little biergarten off to the side. It’s mostly covered with umbrellas and also has heaters. Reserve online." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal, Adam H. Callaghan, Erika Adams
"If your idea of a German place is fixed on sausages served to large communal tables by dirndl-wearing waitresses, then Bronwyn is going to surprise you. There are sausages (and a few large tables) but this place is much cooler than the type of spots that look like they belong in a theme park called Deutschland Land. The furniture looks like it came from a church liquidation sale (which, knowing the history of the Catholic Church in Boston, it very well may have), and it’s got a great beer garden for the warmer months.
