Wow the boneless wings are so good. Massive and clearly hand cut / hand battered. They remind me of the batter from fried catfish... Amazing and crunchy outside, soft and moist inside. Do your self a favor and try this place.

The wings and cheese sticks are phenomenal!! The strips and burgers are good too. I haven't tried the catfish yet but I've talked with other customers and they say Bronzeville Wings got the best catfish!!! Definitely a must try restaurant. And the best part about this place is it black owned!!!

Happy that I came across Bronzeville Wingz just in time for Super Bowl Sunday. The owner was very responsive and helpful in helping me place an order for future pick up. She greeted me when I walked in, my order was hot and fresh, and everyone loved the wings. Local business with great customer service and food. Can't go wrong.

Being a buffalo wing fanatic, who has eaten almost every place listed as a go to spot for wings in Chicago, this place is at the top of my list. So many different flavors and options makes it hard to narrow it down, which for me is a good thing. The owner was so nice, friendly, and consistently smiling. She was very engaging and even offered me samples of the sauces. My wait was minimal and my food was excellent. Please patronize her business. Its well worth it.

Love Love Love this place! The wings are crispy and juicy. The sauces are delicious! My husband loves the perch and he usually ask for extra spice sprinkled on top. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed. I call ahead and pick up my order. Great customer service.

I finally made it out to Bronzeville Wingz. I've been wanting to check them out for a while. Their sauces looked really good. I called my order in and my order was ready when promised. Service was also great. There was one girl handling and cooking all the orders. We ordered, Buffalo, mango habanero, bourbon and honey jerk bbq. The Buffalo was good, mango habanero could have used more heat, the bourbon was delicious as was the honey jerk bbq. They have so many options is was really hard to pick four. The wings stayed hot about 30 minutes after picking the order up and perfectly fried. These wings definitely weren't on the cheap side and could have used a lot more sauce. I will with our a doubt be returning but will be asking for more sauce for sure.

Small pieces for a large sum. Maybe improvement is on the horizon. I know it will in order to get my money.

I really wanted to like this place but the wings are just ok. Last weekend, I went for the first time and ordered 10 piece party wings consisting of Gold Butter and Honey BBQ to go. I also ordered a side order of the cauliflower. I was told it would take 15 mins. A lady came in 10 mins after me and her food was ready before mine.. which was 30 mins later. The customer service was good and felt both ladies behind the counter were friendly. I liked the Gold Butter sauce but felt the Honey BBQ one was a little watery and didn't have much flavor. The cauliflower was pretty good but then I love cauliflower. I felt like there's so many flavors and maybe I just picked ones that just wasn't for me so decided to go again this weekend. This time I ordered the 10 piece party ones with Garlic and Strawberry BBQ. Also, ordered a side of onion rings. The onion rings were small in portion but very good! The wings, I didn't care for them. The garlic wings weren't crispy and had soggy chunks on top. The Strawbery BBQ's sauce was watery and had an interesting after taste. Overall, I think this is just a difference in personal preference in how I like my wings prepared.

Black-owned restaurant. These wings were BOMB.COM. Their menu is simple and easy to order off of. I ordered 10 whole wings (you can pick two flavors) in honey lemon pepper and korean bbq. Both were delicious. The korean bbq definitely had a kick to it, but was enjoyable. Lemon pepper is my go-to and I wasn't disappointed. Everything was seasoned well and tasted delicious. Not to mention before even eating them, the smell was mouth-watering. 5 wings were enough to fill me, I had the other 5 for lunch the next day. Fries were average. Ordered to go, it was ready quickly. When I went to go pick up, the store was super clean and the menus were on the walls. The cashier was affable and very polite. 100% gonna be back soon!

Ordered wings from here on grubhub. Ordered Parmesan garlic (1/10) jerk (1/10) Buffalo (5/10) lemon pepper (6/10). I like my wings saucy, but these were DRENCHED in sauce. It just wasn't good. Buffalo Wild Wings tastes better and they're not even that great.

As a true ATLien, I've struggled over the past 10+ years to find a wing that reminds me of home. JR Crickets or American deli are staples in my hood. We eat eat party wings!!! That said one would imagine how excited I was to try this place after reading all of the really great reviews. I visited during black business week and it is exactly as one would imagine a small Mom and Pop sho ran by two women one in which I think is the owner...and a chef that turned out my 10 piece half hot/half lemon pepper(my favorite) in about 15 minutes or so. I asked for heavy flats, they honored this, I asked my wings be cooked hard, they honored this as well. I cannot describe the fries entirely but they have a seasoning I will ask extra for next time. The only draw back is as most small business work to stay in business during this time there was not the option of a fresh veggie stick, which I love a good carrot or celery but it was explained to me that they can go back quick. Lastly the blue cheese was different not sure how to describe that one but I would shy away from that moving forward and have my celery on deck at the crib. Overall, I encourage patrons to support, support, support. The food was fresh and the service was respectful. I won't be eating at wing stop literally EVER again since finding this place.

The grease was old and needed to be changed . Left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Will try them again to give another chance and I'll update the review .

With all of the wing spots on the south side of Chicago I was anxious to see what was different with this one so I gave Bronzeville Wings a try. The first thing that I noticed was how easy to read the menu was. After placing an order, the deals and prices were also accurately displayed across Yelp, their website and inside the restaurant itself. I ordered 4 of the "3 wing specials" to share with my wife. I tried the following flavors: Gold Butter and Honey Teriyaki. My wife had the Bourbon and said it was really flavorful and good. - Gold Butter was amazing! It was nothing like I have ever tasted in a wing sauce. The flavor notes of mustard, and cumin combined with a zesty, sweet hit gave my tastebuds happiness. Just thinking about this sauce while I write makes me want some now. - The Honey Teriyaki was also good. It had a nice balance of sweet and salty which is what you'd expect from a teriyaki sauce. - The Wings were on the small side but they were WHOLE WINGS. I got out the door paying under $18 for 12 WHOLE WINGS and a ton of fries. The wing sauces weren't the only good thing. The wings were seasoned well. They had that type of seasoning that you get when someone is truly taking their time, putting in effort and love to season wings. This great seasoning gives their restaurant a unique fresh fried chicken smell that will have you adding another 3 wing special to your order! - The fries were ok and I hope to see them improve here. They were covered in lemon pepper, a little too much lemon pepper. I'd love to see them add sauce to the fries and maybe just a tad bit of salt and pepper. At least this is how I will be ordering my fries next time, covered in Gold Butter Sauce. Overall I give Bronzeville Wings a 5 of 5 stars. This is a wing place that takes wings seriously, offers whole chicken wings, has unique sauces that taste fresh and homemade giving you flavors that you can only get from Bronzeville Wings all while not breaking your pockets!

This place was good. My favorite out of all the boneless wings were the strawberry barbecue. It's tastes just like you think. My kids loved the honey barbecue. I wasn't a fan of the Parmesan Garlic probably because I'm use to BBW. It tasted like garlic wings with Parmesan cheese on top. They also have daily specials. They asked to payment over the phone which was different. They aren't a sit down restaurant. Parking is a nightmare. It has street parking. There were cars double parked in front and around the corner. I'm assuming because the restaurant next door is just as busy. I will totally go back to try different flavors!!

This food is amazing! I've went here twice just to make sure that it was good, and it was. I've had the garlic Parmesan, ranch, banging ranch, and the golden butter. All those flavors were amazing! They have a lot of different flavors to try, so I plan to go back to try some of the other flavors! The wings are fried perfectly, and they season their fries. They put a lot of sauce on their wings which is a plus for me. The service is great. They gave me a time to come pick up my wings, and I they were ready at that time. I definitely plan to come back again! It is a black owned restaurant on the south side of Chicago with exceptional food and service.

I stopped by this place after noticing that it FINALLY opened after over 2 months of store preparation. Got tires of going to the window and peeping in just to see if there was any sign of life testing the oil for correct frying temperature. Anyway, before I got banned for stalking the joint even before they opened I decided to wait patiently until I saw lights on! Fast forward to Monday, October 22nd - I'm finally in and ready to get my grub on. I quickly scanned the menus and wall specials and decided on the Top 5 Special. Got Cheesy Buffalo and Sweet and Spicy! My clear and undisputed favorite was surprisingly the cheesy buffalo. Excellent wings and I can't wait to go back to try more flavors. Nothing against the East Side, but I'm sooo glad they opened this location [less than 1/4 mile from my doorstep], Welcome to 71st and Western Wingz Around the World!!

Ordered 4 lunch wing lunch specials. They gave us one cup of ketchup for 4 orders of fries every sauce tasted disgusting, like they just was throwing random ingredients in there at this point. Chicken was bland and grease tasted weird like it was old or something. Worst $30 I've ever spent. Not to mention, their pricing was way off online.

Food was great. I got whole wings and the sauces were gold butter, garlic parmesan, and sweet and sour. The garlic parmesan was our favorite. Service was also fantastic and friendly and caring!

We ate our food so fast we don't have pictures! I am not a big wing fan, but my boyfriend is. We followed Bronzeville Wingz on Instagram and the owner is just so awesome we had to try it out! We made the trek and wow wow wow was it worth it! I got my wings with strawberry BBQ and garlic Parmesan. The sauces were amazing! My boyfriend got whole wings with bangin' buffalo and something else (oops - I Will updated this review when I ask him!). He LOVED them. The fries were also amazing. The cherry on top is the incredibly friendly owner! We will be back.

This is the first time I'm writing a review on Yelp. Coming from the land of chicken wings, aka Atlanta, it's been really difficult to find good wings in Chicago. Bronzeville Wingz is the only place I've been so far that did not disappoint. I ordered lemon pepper wings and they were exactly how I wanted them. Loved the fries too. I'm so happy I found this place. Can't wait to try their other sauces.

Called in my order ahead of time and still had to wait an extra 25 min. when I arrived. I ordered a bunch of different flavors, The wings were average at best. One positive is the staff were very nice.

Once my partner and I tried Bronzeville Wingz, we stopped getting wings from anywhere else cause - why bother? Bronzeville Wingz is so mf good it makes no sense. The lemon pepper is something I would do unholy things for, and all the other sauces that I've tried are equally good. Every time I've been, the space is a take out spot where people come in, converse, get their chicken and go. The people running the space are very warm and welcoming. My husband is a transplant from Ghana and he says no other chicken spot reminds him of the rich flavors that he grew up with like Bronzeville Wingz does. We both love love love these wings and we'll drive across the city (sometimes we drive down from Edgewater) for these wings. You might love these too. Please try this spot if you're looking for some life-changing wings!

There is soo much to say about this hidden gem!!! This place has WANGZ!!! Not your ordinary wingstop or other commercial chain restaurant that claims to be the best. This place is amazing!! Cooked to order and let me not forget, 30 SAUCES to chose from!! I mean, they cater to any and every palate!!!!!! Fries are perfectly seasoned as their shrimp is amazing as well, not rinky dinky in size, these are jumbo shrimp!!! Strawberry BBQ sauce is for the adventurous They have their typical BBQ and Buffalo! Blazin' Buffalo is spicy but a fav Gold Butter is a mustard based BBQ that I'm in love with. If I could, I would bathe in it! I always order extra but, you be the judge for all 30 sauces to try! My favorite wing place on the south side!

So glad I stopped by! Best wings I've had in a loooooong time. Whatever they put on the fries is amazing, too. Only thing was - too much sauce. Might be better to have containers with a separator in the middle. Lot of my fries were soaked.

Wings were better than I was anticipating to be honest because the establishment facade does not scream "great wings." Staff are really friendly and honest; they charged me extra by mistake and immediately apologized and rectified the error. Some flavors are unique and worth trying. Wings themselves were typical. Not the absolute best wings in town but definitely worth trying since they are significantly above average.

I'm from Atlanta and it has been so hard to find wings here in Chicago so I was skeptical to try this spot but they DID NOT disappoint!! I ordered lemon pepper and honey bbq ....SOOO GOOD! The wings were delicious, and so were the onion rings. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors

This place was very welcoming and comes with a lot of flavors. They even let me taste two flavors and I found out that was not what I wanted but it was fine. They had a decent deal so I tried the chicken fingers with fries with spicy lemon pepper. Lemon pepper reminds me of hooters and the honey jerk bbq just was a little too different for my taste.

These wings were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I drove from the west burbs just to try them and they were definitely worth the drive. Will be back!!

Bronzeville Wings not only has great food they have WONDERFUL customer service. I tried to order my 20 wings online but had questions so I called. The owner personally handled my phone call and addressed all my concerns. And my food was ready right on time. I cannot say enough good things about them...if you need a meal for yourself or your group of impromptu friends (like me) they are an excellent at what they do!! Excellent food and service!

I've been watching this spot for a while and had hoped to visit in person because wings and fries don't always travel well. Covid had other plans. I took a chance that delivery would do us right....and it sure did! I had a few questions before placing my order and the management was extremely helpful (they even called me back to correct a response they had earlier given - and I didn't ask for a call back). Thankfully, delivery was prompt so the product was fresh! We ordered party wings and they were hot, meaty, and sauced just right. The three sauces we tried were so good. Our mistake, we chose sauces that are similar in taste. Next time, we'll get a little more adventurous seeing as there are 30 sauces to choose from. Even the fries traveled well and that was a sure surprise. So glad we took a chance on this spot - can't wait to try their salads, shrimp and fish. Well done!

I ordered a pan of wings and my family and I loved them. The restaurant offers over 30 different flavors of sauces and we enjoyed the variety. The French fries did not survive the ride back home. The owner was accommodating and provided the option of curbside pickup. We are looking forward to visiting again. Great food and service.

Omg !!!!!!!! This hidden gem is so amazing!!! I said I was gonna be intentional and leave this review right after I ate! Listen!!!! The wings were a hit! The fries were perfectly seasoned and the wings were so juicy and delicious! I'm in such a great mood after experiencing this restaurant! It's owned by a husband and wife and it's a great vibe with great food! I had no issue with my order and their custom service was superb. It's the simple things that keep people in business!!!! Was having a party and needed some wings, so talked to them. Very personable and helpful, and after I placed my order for later that week, sat down and got myself some wings to eat then. The flavors are great, the chicken cooked just right, and the wings were a hit with my party people.

I ordered honey Q, Barbecue, and Lemon Pepper Wingz . I have one word to describe the Wingz, ". "Disgusting". Tasted like old Wingz that we're fried with no seasoning and sauce on the top. The fries were mediocre with no salt and mild sauce was basic. We also had cheese sticks they were ok. Overall don't wast your time or money stopping here unless u haven't eaten in several days as your on the verge of death. I wasted $25. Oh the one star is for the friendly staff.

Went once. Told my order would be ready in 30 minutes. Arrived 30 min later and was told rudely that I'd have to wait another 20 minutes. The cook didn't have a mask on or gloves and SNEEZED all over the chicken. Safe to say I left without my wings. Glad I witnessed it so I knew the unsanitary conditions and lack of precautions taken by Bronzeville.

Incredibly delicious wings and chicken tenders. The tenders are juicy and cooked to perfection -- not crunchy or dry like some many tenders often are. The sauces were delicious too and I can't wait to try more. Mango habanero was out of this world and the spicy blue cheese was like nothing I've ever had. A true diamond in the rough restaurant that people should know more about.

This is a branch off of wings around the world. Food is amazing! Sauce flavors the best I've ever had. Recently tried their sweet and spicy and I've been dying to go back and get more. I've had a number of their sauces and haven't tried one I didn't like. Definitely pricey but they have daily specials. Fries are always crispy. I have t had anything else honestly but based on the quality of chicken and fries I'm sure everything else is good too.

Good food. Very expensive. Good customer service. I love wings but for the life of me can't understand why wing places charge $1 or more for party wings. Very friendly staff. A little,slow but the food was very good. I spent $27 on 20 party wings with fries. I like the selections of flavors although they were out of two that I really wanted. The location isn't great and if I have an extra $15 I may splurge and go back again but I honestly don't think they will be around long. I think it is a little expensive for the neighborhood. I hope I'm wrong.

There's a male manager with terrible customer service. I called to place an order for pick up and he gave me a bad attitude regarding the order I wanted to place. This has happened before months ago, but I was hoping there would be someone else in his place as his terrible customer service can reflect negatively on the restaurant as a whole. If he doesn't like his job, he shouldn't be in the service industry.

Visited this place on a whim while visiting my sister in the city. Hand down money well spent , the two woman behind the counter had top notch customer service and provided all the ins and outs of the menu. Keep doing great things their Buffalo sauce was great out of the smorgasbord of sauces I tried. Definitely will return next time I'm in the city on this side of town

The seasoning on the fries was so good! It's like what Wingstop wants their fries too taste like. So good! I got bourbon sauce on my wings which was really good! The owner, Nichole is very sweet, too! I enjoyed my meal and it was a good price!

This spot did not disappoint. The wings were fire. The sauces were amazing. We tried the bacon ranch, buffalo and garlic. I couldn't pick a favorite. The restaurant is clean and the service is good.

Ordered some wings and they were good. Can't wait to try different flavors and explore the menu. I'll be back.
