Brook Pie & Mash

Wow, found this pie mash shop by chance, was working around the corner. I've tried most pie mash shops in the East end and South East London, these guys are up there in top 10. Pies we're bang on, pastry and meat balance perfect, mash was a perfect portion, liquor was bang on. Staff were friendly, welcoming, what Eastenders are all about. Highly recommend. Back tomorrow x

Fantastic traditional pie and mash shop, went here twice and both times were delicious!

Been coming here since I was around 9 years old. Al the owner is a lovely bloke and the ladies working there are as pure as it gets too. Went this week for the first time in a few months and took my mate from Wales for the first time (see pic) He loved it. Proper east London pie shop with authentic vibes and locals. They've somehow managed to keep the price low too which is unheard of in these trying times! I had 3 single singles and 3 drinks for 18 quid. Can't remember the last time I ate out for 2 people for less than 20 quid let alone 3 people. Bravo.

Pie was delicious, crispy with filling full of flavour. The outstanding thing was a gravy that wasn't tasting so artificial as usual in this type of restaurant. Nice addition are outdoor tables. Prices are very affordable.

You can't beat Brooks for proper pie & mash. It tastes amazing. Waiting for you to open a shop in lowestoft so that we don't have as far to come 🤣. Don't change what you are doing

This pie and mash is seriously the best out there. Before my dad passed away he would drive here from Great Burstead, I never go anywhere else and when we have tried elsewhere it’s never as good. The ladies here are also nice & polite and keep it very clean. Thanks for the extra liquor ladies 😊.

Nice little pie and mash shop that myself and a mate used to go into at lunchtimes. Staff are always friendly and the prices are reasonable but most importantly the food is nice and hits the spot. My friend loves it so much here that she's got them to cater for her wedding in a week or two - not my idea of perfect wedding food but i guess if you love it, you love it!!
