The lattes are good. Expensive, but good. I got an entree too - $14 is steep for pesto toast but with the prices of things today, alright, fine. I got my meal - $14 for ONE SLICE of toast?? $14. For one piece of bread. Almost no greens. I opened my meal when I got home and was aghast. That’s about a $12 profit margin. One piece of bread?? I thought I’d treat myself - $25 for a latte and a sandwich. But this honestly felt more like an insult. The latte was good and I’d go back to try more, but I wouldn’t recommend buying the food here. For the biscoff cookie latte, I was surprised at how thick it was - it was borderline a milkshake, or at least an extremely creamy latte. Expensive at $8 for a medium and $9 for a large, but it was delicious regardless. I’ll prob come back to try their other drinks.

Brooklyn Brew Cafe is one of this neighborhood’s best! I’ve been going to BBC for years now. My go-to is their cookie butter latte although I’m due to try one of their other many unique flavors (like the key lime pie latte!). Their coffee is delicious, the ambience is cozy. The owners are always there when I walk in and they’re very kind and hospitable. They’re a tried and true local business and I cannot recommend enough!

The owner greets you with warmth and the place has a chill vibe. She seems to know all the customers and calls them by name. It looks like a local business that many people come to connect and enjoy coffee and food. Coffee was high quality, and the baked good was delicious - just the right amount of sweet!

I like this coffee shop. The barista gave me better and more professional advice on the coffee I wanted to drink. Chocolate chip cookies are very crispy and the taste is my favorite one. I look forward to having other flavors of coffee and toast next time.

I ordered the vegan soup and the mousse!! So delicious. The soup was very hearty and filling. I’m a soup person even on a hot day. I like how the cafe is under a tree for shade. The barista brought my food out to me on some cute wooden cutting boards. I thought that was a nice touch. I’ll be back!!

Been going here every weekend for over a year, best service AND drinks I’ve ever had. I love the speciality lattes and food. I’ve never had a bad meal here, each dish is made with complete care and love. Brooklyn Brew is always my number one recommendation to anyone that asks, Best of Brooklyn!! 💜💜

When I and my roommate moves here this was one of the first places we went and we have never left. The atmosphere is amazing and you truly feel at home. He have had almost hours long conversations with each of the employees. On top of that the coffee is to die for!! They 100% know what they are doing with every drink. We have tried each latte on their menu and each are SOOOO good. I recommend the KEY LIME PIE and the DUBAI CHOCOLATE latte. They also make great food and different, fresh soups every week that is so yummy. There’s nothing that compares in Bayridge or the city as a whole. I recommend this to everyone around me. We have found great people at this cafe.

The shop is small and dark, the service is bright and friendly. I ordered an iced coffee and an avocado toast and the total was $18. The iced coffee was good, not sour. The avocado toast was good but could be better. It had an ample amount of avocado, which was a little salty and too much balsamic sauce, which was too sweet given the amount they put on it. While it was still good and I felt like for $15, it could have been better or at least two slices of toast?

Yupp this place has the best coffee in Bay ridge. Barista is very passionate and makes sure you get your cup the way you like it. He knows exactly how to make a cappuccino. This is the number one spot trust me.

Stumbled upon this place while waiting for my car to get fixed. So happy I did because it was lovely. I met the owner, she was very friendly and caring. I ordered a tumeric latte. She told me how she made it a little different and asked if I wanted those additional items. I can tell it was made with love. Small cute spot with a nice quiet outdoor sitting area and some inside as well. I will be back !

Let me start by saying that I'm not a fancy coffee drinker - I drink coffee for the caffeine and not the taste. However, I must say, that I really enjoyed the coffee at this little gem of a spot in Bay Ridge. Even better was the customer service and the avocado toast! This is the type of place where you bring a book, order almost anything on the menu and sit outside and enjoy the morning. It would also be the perfect place to catch up with friends or family. The off the avenue location allows for quiet conversation and uninterrupted reading time. I highly recommend the BBC for their coffee, food and wonderful service.

Excellent fresh coffee and homemade soup, and pastries. Cozy environment. I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese, both excellent , tasty, and fresh. Wide selection of coffee drinks to cater to any taste. Lemon loaf and Nutella coffee both flavorful. Friendly staff and owners.

Delicioussss drinks and food! Definitely coming back another day to try other drinks and food, but otherwise Marina is awesome!

Stopped by my local coffee shop and let me tell you! The coffee was absolutely delicious and the service brought by the barista Samantha was warming! I most definitely recommend everyone that lives near by to try this place out!

If you were wondering if the coffee is made by a trained barista, it's not. It's just people messing with an espresso machine.

The coffee.... I'm always happy with my latte and chai that I order here. You can definitely taste the coffee and get the kick you need. My husband always gets the drip coffee and mentions that it's always too hot at first... so, at least you know you'll get a hot coffee.. It's usually a one man shop when I go so expect that you'll need to give yourself some time if you're on a schedule. Seating space is small. But during covid, the store has been closed and instead they have a take out window. Credit cards accepted.

both the coffee and the service were not good here. the barista was focused on making tiktoks instead of my latte, and the outcome was no bueno. i wanted an iced latte with a few pumps of hazelnut but it came out watery, lukewarm instead of iced, and way too sweet. it also took well over 15 minutes to get a latte and cold brew with nobody else in the store.

This place is amazing! They have the best coffee in the neighborhood always smiling and happy to serve you. Is so cute decorated. Recently they fixed the outside side sitting area. This is my new spot to stop by every morning. Good luck guys. Support local business

Visited the shop in need of some caffeine and pastry's and they sure delivered! Amazing customer service and such a welcoming environment would give 6 stars if I could to young barista who served me, God Bless You!!!

This spot seemed very yummy, but when I got there the workers were not wearing masks. The drink had burnt milk to where it was extremely hot, and the server touched the drinking part of my cup with her dirty fingers. Place would be more sufficient if they followed health guidelines. Another worker inside also did not have their mask on correctly. Maybe next time there will be a different .

Not impressed. Service was slow; coffee was lukewarm; bill too high; and the lid didn't fit on the cup causing a huge mess.

I am so grateful this place opened up so close to me. They have delicious vegan soups and muffins, as well as non-vegan deliciousness. The staff is so sweet and kind, and you always leave feeling great after the exchange. My go-to is the oat-milk latte with the blueberry muffin, apple turnover, or chocolate croissant.... and one of their amazing soups. They also have a cute little area for outdoor seating with about 3 tables nicely spaced out. It's a side street so, you won't find it to be super populated, which is great. Totally recommend. I really love this place.

They have outdoor eating! Masks are required. I ordered a matcha tea and it was wonderful! It was well made and blended. Definitely will be back to try other things on their menu.

Every little thing was great! The prices weren't too bad and the ambiance would be good for conversation or light work/reading. It had a smooth rich flavor. Service was quick and friendly. I had a wonderful experience here in Brooklyn Brew Cafe.

I have been seeing this place on my walk with my puppers, never been inside coz of the puppers, then a former colleague got in touch with me. She want to send breakfast or snack from this place. Stuff was delivered, I pick up, was amazed by the quality of food. Coffee was great and so was the pastries. The coffee sustained the unit the whole day, was even good when cold. Of course the pastries disappeared quick. Also the delivery was on time. I will definitely stop by this place every chance I get. I'm a coffee addict. I love this neighborhood and this is my new favorite place.

Went here for the first time today, I was very impressed! Marina is personable and she makes a great dark roast.

When this place opened, I thought it would never make it. Too small. Off the beaten path. Wouldn't survive the COVID pandemic. I was sure it would be closed by now. Boy, was I ever wrong. The atmosphere was inviting. Very friendly. I am not a big coffee drinker, but then they started serving things like huge waffles and the most amazing soups. My favorite so far was the butternut squash soup and spinach lentil soup full of earthy spices perfectly blended. I wish Marina continued success and can't wait to see what else she will add to their menu

I'm updating my review because for the last month that I have picked up delicious drinks from their sidewalk counter, the employees have been consistently masked.

Love their creative flavored coffees, delicious regular hot coffee, fresh pastries, super cute outdoor tables, friendly staff and the fact that their delivery is always on time. Love supporting local businesses and really appreciate how much they appreciate first responders. Quaint little shop and such a good fit for the neighborhood!

Walked past this cafe a few times in the past but made my first visit last week. It is a cute spot, nice staff and great coffee. Glad to support small businesses especially at crazy times like this.
