No sign to let you know there’s a $5 per person cover before you want to enter just to buy food and drinks. A wait for a small $16 pizza and it was good enough but mostly cold until we got it. $2.50 per donut. The prices for food are pretty high. We did enjoy the free hard cider tastings but 4 packs are pricey so we skipped taking any home with us. Music was tasteful and good noise level and overall atmosphere was fine but we’ve been to less expensive orchard venues in NY that didn’t have a cover fee and were nicer.

Went in early September and got to pick some apples, try their ciders and German some food. It is easy to spend an afternoon here with friends and family. Super kid friendly space and also super pet friendly. There’s so much space to roam around and lounge. Pizza was great (better than the other food menus) and the price per bag for apple picking wasn’t so bad.

This is a great place to bring the family for a nice relaxing evening. They have two ponds on the property to sit by and they have beautiful willow trees. For food they have great brick oven pizza. The burger is good, but only a bag of chips as a side. I hear great things about the barbecue, however it’s always out when we arrive. They have cornhole and other games. Their cider is good and they let you taste before you buy the glass or a flight. Perfect place to watch the sunset

Entrance fee is $5 plus tax per person. This doesn’t get refunded if you make a purchase. We did apple picking first. The ones they said were ready to pick were past picking, trees were bare. Since we got there early, there was no line for the food. Apple cider donuts were good. $12 plus tax for 6 donuts. Pizza was good. The canned ciders were overpriced IMO. A pack of 4 cans were $20.

We had a wonderful experience visiting an apple farm with the family, where they also make fresh apple cider. The orchard was filled with vibrant apple trees, and the air was crisp with the scent of ripe fruit. We spent the day picking apples, tasting different varieties, and learning about the cider-making process. It was a perfect blend of fun and learning, and there was something special about seeing the journey from orchard to bottle. The whole experience felt cozy and memorable, and it was a beautiful way to connect with nature and each other.

Despite the heavy downpour last week, we enjoyed delicious pizzas and hard cider at Brooklyn Cider House after an 8 hour drive into New Paltz. To get to the food service, you walk through the Tasting Room and down the path to an open air pavilion with the ovens. Due to rain, the pavilion was packed, so we brought our takeout to the Tasting Room for the best of both worlds! It was quiet with comfortable wood tables, and they provided us with plates, napkins and utensils. We shared two cider flights and got 4 takeout pizzas -- 2 Dragon's Breath, 1 white mushroom and 1 pepperoni. The guys in the pavilion had told us each person would eat about 2/3 of a pizza and he was right as we had what amounted to just over a pizza in slices leftover. The Dragon's breath was our favorite with its unusual combination of chorizo, cilantro, jalapenos, sweet onions, hot honey and two cheeses. The hearty slices of mushrooms were full of flavor and a close second, and the pepperoni formed those highly sought after cups with slightly charred edges that is hard to find these days. Kinda dry cider was my favorite cider, followed by raw, but there was little agreement among my family which makes the flight format so fun. We all got to enjoy our favorites.

Stopped here on our way back from up north. The food was amazing. We had a pepperoni pizza with mushroom, a cheeseburger and a kale and beet salad. Everything was good. The staff at the cider house was super friendly. They let us try all of the current ciders on tap and in bottles. My favorite was a strawberry cider. We bought a few bottles home for gifting. The grounds were very nice with plenty of picnic tables. Will definitely return here on our next road trip up north. We were told that would be many crowds and long waits for food during fall or apple picking season, so don’t come here during that season if you hate crowds

Google
Really nice cider house in an idyllic setting. What an amazing place to relax and enjoy a refreshing hard cider after hiking at the Gunks. The menu has freshly made Neapolitan style pizzas and burgers. I opted for the pizza and salad and both were delicious. Friendly staff explained the ciders and helped me choose. FYI they also have beers from Industrial Arts and is dog friendly outdoors. 10/10

Yelp
We got there over the weekend and there was a ten dollar cover charge. After sampling the ciders, the one we wanted wasn't available at the store. We tried some over by the food tent and got the next best one. The pond was nice and there was plenty of seating there. Walking the orchard a bit was also fun. There was live music and plenty of families around.

Yelp
We came here after seeing the good reviews, but honestly the experience was pretty meh. It's a beautiful setting with tables on the edge of a little lake, the orchard in the background and live music. We tried a few ciders. I would've like to try more, but flights were not being sold when we got there around 6:30. The sweetest one was my favorite, but I wish there was an even sweeter option. Most of them are too dry for me. Hard core cider lovers probably enjoy them though! The food was just ok for the most part. We tried three different pizzas. The 3 mushroom one was good, but I didn't taste any truffle at all. The dragons breath was very spicy. Lives up to the name! But the sausage and broccoli one was inedible as served. The broccoli was very bitter. I said it tasted like when you keep an aspirin in your mouth too long. Not good! Without the broccoli it was ok, but I don't feel like I shouldn't have to pick things off a pizza for it to be good. Idk if that was normal or just a fluke. Other than that they were well cooked. They had a nice, chewy wood fired crust. The service was good. Everyone seemed chill and friendly. One highlight was the apple cider doughnuts! Definitely get those!

Yelp
Everytime I am upstate for a hike I try to make my way up here! Their service isn't bad as they keep the line moving. The cashier was attentive and you get a text message that lets you know your order is ready. They accept Apple Pay. The ambiance is one of the best parts about this spot. It is nice and relaxed with plenty of benches outside next to a pond and the apple trees. You can come in without paying entrance or anything and walk to the back for the food area where you also have free range to walk through the orchard. You're also able to purchase cider to go and other goodies like jams in the main building's market. For food, I usually come for the pizza which is always soooo tasty! We had: Appetizer/Sides: -Coleslaw: my husband is big on coleslaw and unfortunately this coleslaw fell widely short. You can tell it's a bit old from the color of both the Cole slaw and the cabbage itself. It was also bland and tasted more like unsalted pickle water. It had a lot of black seeds which he was a bit confused as to why and what they were. Entrees: -Margherita Pizza: YES! I come here for this specifically every time! The dough is flavored perfectly and the sauce is so fresh along with the cheese. -Mushroom Cheddar Burger: (accompanied with potato chips and a pickle) it was juicy, but a bit flavorless. I don't think I would've been able to eat this without the ketchup I added. The burger was also oily and watery at the same time. Preference wise also, I'm not a big fan of potato chips as a substitute for fries. Drinks: -Sparkling Apple Cider: AMAZING! So tasty and a great non-alcoholic choice to truly enjoy you being at the cider house! The apple flavor comes through beautiful and I also feel it is sweetened perfectly! The reasons I didn't give this spot 5 stars are because: -The pizza came out lukewarm on top of a burning hot tray. Didn't make send as to why the pizza wasn't: a. Fresh and b. Hot. -Burger was bland. -They forgot our coleslaw and we had to go and ask for it. I will definitely be back for more Pizza and Apple Cider!!

Yelp
Brooklyn Cider House is a craft cidery that opened at Twin Star Orchards in New Paltz, New York in 2015. It was founded by Korean-born siblings Peter and Susan Yi. After emigrating to the United States, the siblings grew up in Brooklyn. Peter worked in the wine industry for over 25 years with PJ Wine: a successful business that he started himself. During his travels to taste the world's best wines, he eventually made his way to Spain's Basque region. Peter was brought to a 'sagardotegi' (a traditional cider house that also serves regional cuisine) and fell in love with the cider. After returning to New York City, he decided to leave his wine business to start a cider business and Susan agreed to come on board with him. They came up with the name 'Brooklyn Cider House' in 2014 and produced their first batch of cider out of a rented space at Ravines Winery in Geneva (NY). The following year, the Yis purchased land in New Paltz to grow their apples and named it 'Twin Star Orchards'. A taproom was built where patrons could not only taste the hard ciders but also pair them with wood-fired pizza, wood-fired burgers, or wood-smoked BBQ. A second taproom opened in Brooklyn's Bushwick neighborhood in late 2017, but it closed three years later due to the pandemic. My family and I recently visited Brooklyn Cider House for the first time. We had great weather that day and the orchard grounds were gorgeous. After exploring the retail shop, we headed outside to grab a table. There was a live jazz group performing during our visit. My wife and I decided to order a couple of cider flights. She had the "Sweet" flight which featured "Half Sour", "Rosé" and "Kinda Dry". I had the "Dry" flight which featured "Sapsong", "Three of Life" and "Pomme Rouge". They were all excellent ciders! For food, we decided to order some delicious wood-fired pizzas. We all shared the "Margherita", the "Pepperoni", and "Sweet Sausage & Broccoli Rabe". They paired very well with the ciders. Before leaving, we grabbed a bottle of the "Rosé" cider to take home as well as some jars of locally-produced hot honey. We had an excellent experience at Brooklyn Cider House and look forward to returning!

Yelp
Came here after hiking at Sam's Point and it was a great spot! They had a small selection of ciders, as well as some solid food options. I got the rosé cider and little wild cider, dragons breath pizza, and a donut. All were delicious and pretty affordable with $8 for the cider cans and $22 for the pizza which was very filling after 3 slices. The donut was warm, very sugary, and soft. The pizza was very well made but VERY spicy so fair warning my lips were burning from the jalapeños. The ciders were very tasty with the little wild being my favorite (semi-sweet). They have really nice grounds you can walk on as well as a gift shop area that had a lot of cute things! We stayed for most of the late afternoon and they gave us a free dozen donuts (we appreciate no food wasting!). Would definitely come back

Yelp
My friends and I visited Brooklyn Cider House on a snowy Saturday, which was lovely because we were the only ones there upon arriving. The indoor area has a good amount of seating to accommodate visitors, and there's also items for sale lining the walls including snacks, drinks, etc. We all opted for flights, but their machine had an issue processing card payments likely due to the snowstorm. We were still able to place orders and pay later on once the issue was resolved. The dry flight was okay, the sweet flight was a little better. I wanted to order a particular one on tap, but it seemed they had a very minimal selection available for those. It would be nice if there were more tap options, as that form is always the best for ciders. It's worth stopping in if you're planning on hanging around New Paltz, but I wouldn't make an entire trip there for the cidery.

Yelp
Best cider doughnuts in town. I'd recommend getting there early in the summer and fall months as it gets really busy.

Yelp
This place has long been one of my "must-stops" on a fall day trip upstate from the city over the last few years. The apple picking is ample in early fall, the ciders delicious (and also easy to purchase in the city if you are craving!), and the pizza divine. The pizza line is long though (wait time is ~45min to 1 hour on a weekend day), so would recommend ordering right when you get there to get your pizza at a reasonable time. I'll be back!

Yelp
This place is an absolutely hidden gem. After my husband and I did a bike ride up near New Paltz, I was searching for a really good farm to table place, and this place popped up. There were so many excellent reviews that I said, "Let's just go here. We both were in heaven. We absolutely loved everything. The cider donuts just came out of the oven and wow, omg they are to die for . It was very, very delicious and we wanted more but we waited until we left to buy a box. They are marked for good prices as well, $2.50. It's up there but it's real and very, very delicious. My husband and I decided to get the sample flights . He decided to get the fruity, and I decided to get the dry. Surprisingly, I actually really enjoyed the fruity sample better. The prices of the flights were at a great price. The fruity ones were $6.00, and the dry was $8.00 . Not bad at all . The bar attendant was very nice as well and explained everything to us. If you haven't gone here, well you are really missing out and you need to go there now.

Yelp
Really cool hidden gem. They have many variations of cider - some that can rival even the best sparkling wines.

Yelp
Fantastic food and ambience. Great place to relax and refuel after hiking! Family friendly as well.

Yelp
We stopped by here after a fall hike to enjoy some ciders! It is dog friendly so it was perfect for us. I had packed a blanket and we all just relaxed on the lawn. The kinda dry cider is SO good, I brought some home with me but also looked up where it is sold near me! They have pizza but the line was so long that we decided to just have the cider and relax. Highly recommend this place, I'm sure we will be back every time we come up to the area!

Yelp
Date day was amazing here for their end of season pig roast, which tastes heavenly. It was a great time picking out our table and enjoying a nice bottle of cider with the wind whipping through the air over the pond and listening to the live band they provided for the afternoon. We had a nice flight in the barn where a gentleman explained each pour at length. Love the knowledge and love that goes into this place. See you need year!!!

Yelp
Beautiful location with plenty of benches outside some near the pond. I went on a Saturday and there was live music near the water...it was a great way to spend a gloriously sunny afternoon. The pizza was delicious, give it a try! The dough tasted really fresh and was nice and chewy. We did not care for the portobello burger, it was very bland and dry. It's a shame they didn't have any other burger options available for vegetarians. Really enjoyed the apple cider donuts we got here. The donut was dense and you can really taste the apple cider in it. Kids were fans of their apple cider too. They have apple picking in the fall too. Wagons can be rented.

Yelp
Came here on a date night with my husband. Ordered some pizzas, but something happened with the order tickets and they took extra long to come out. The staff was super accommodating and apologetic and gave us some freebie food while we waited. EXCELLENT pizza. Well worth the wait. The cider is also delicious. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
This was such a lovey fall activity to do. I loved how expansive their property is. We walked in here and it was pretty busy. They have free tastings but you must grab food first. I ordered the burger with bacon and cheese - did not disappoint though a tad pricey. They currently rotate only two of their ciders. I was not a fan of the raw but loved the half sour! I would totally be back here for another trip upstate!
google avatar

DJ C.

Yelp
Pizza was perfectly amazing. What a great vibe and atmosphere for hanging and eating. Will definitely be back if my kid chooses to go to SUNY New Paltz. We had the Dragons breath and sweet sausage and broccoli rabe. Both excellent. The views are great. Did not try the cider yet.

Yelp
Brooklyn Cide House/Twin Star Orchards is an absolutely bucket list worthy day trips for anyone to make. Nor a fan of cider (beer)? Well then come hungry because the pizzas are must try. Stunning views, plenty of parking, and a great scenic drive from the Manhattan area. Honestly, its a very smooth and easy drive to take. Once you pull up to the large barn, you can call and place your order OR order via their website I ordered the half sour , dry cider, and another cider. Cans and bottes start at about 7.00 and can go up to 16.00 i believe. That being said, split a 4 pack with someone. There are some bottles and cans that can be sold by themselves. The pizzas are very tasty and a nice surprise for a cidery. its a thin, neopoltian, style crust pie. layered with various toppings, sauce, and cheese. perfect to share on a date, or eat for yourself like the gluttonous pig that i am. my friend grabbed the "dragons breath". he ate it down quick, loved it. I dont think it wasy spicy at all. For me, the non meat eater, i had the 3mushroom white. Love the tender shrooms, perfect amount of cheese, and the hint of truffle oil. a pizza to die for! Keep in mind, theres plenty of pizzas here to get for the non meat eaters! We ate outside at our car since it was a nice day. We were allowed to use the bathrooms as long as we had face coverings and gloves. the inside of the brooklyn cider house smelled amazing and i cant wait to attend when covid is over. Before you arrive, make sure to check the twin star orchards website about whats available for pick up.

Yelp
I'm not a cider kind of guy. I usually stick to beers. But, this place, along with the Twin Orchards farm that it's situated on, is just awesome. Get a free tasting. Buy a bottle of your favorite flavor. And then head out back to grab some excellent pizzas or burgers. Pick some apples. Finally, sit and enjoy it all on the picnic tables on their lawn, complete with its own pond. Great way to spend an afternoon.
google avatar

Kristina I.

Yelp
We have been here so many times. We love it everytime. This past September was the first time we actually picked apples here. Every apple we picked was better than the last. I was upset when we finished them all.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful location - we spent a few hours relaxing at the picnic tables by the pond and eating pizza. The spicy pizza was amazing with the hot honey topping. Exactly what we needed on a girls weekend. Fun place to visit and we will be back when we are in the area.

Yelp
Such a lovely day here!! The space is enormous- so much room to socially distance and enjoy the beautiful views and yummy food + drink. We had the raw cider which was different flavor wise but good! Next on my list to try is the half sour. There were some other drink specials as well- I think some kind of apple margarita and a frozen rose drink. The margarita pizza ($14) was quite delicious, would definitely recommend. We enjoyed it next to the pond, with live music which was perfect too and made our day that much better. Very family friend. Lots of safety precautions and a very timely, organized system for ordering. I'm sure they are much more crowded during leaf peeper season but its great summer fun too!! We will certainly be back soon!

Yelp
Came by after a hike at Minniwaska state park. They have a parking lot but since the weather was beautiful and it's Fall, they had to open up the grassy area across the street as well. If you want to try their food, I would recommend coming earlier in the day. By the time we got in, it was 2pm-ish and they ran out of a whole bunch of things. Their dragon breath pizza is really good! The hot honey gave it an extra kick. They have pretty good apple cider but the star of the show is the apple cider donuts! I haven't found a place that can compare to their donuts. Don't forget to buy a dozen before you head out. For a party of 7, there was no issue finding a table. Another plus is the live music. This will be a part of our itinerary everytime we are in the area
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm and the place was packed! Lovely environment and vibes. People were picnic-ing, dogs playing, people enjoying themselves and drinking. There's also cornhole! The food and drink are also amazing! We got the Dragon's Breath with cilantro, chorizo and jalapenos. Cilantro on pizza sounds odd but trust me, it WORKS. It was neopolitan styled pizza and cooked on the spot. Ciders were also crisp and refreshing. I will definitely be back! Regarding wait times - it is not bad at all. It is the same wait time as if you ordered in a restaurant. There's also a bar where you can order drinks while you wait!
google avatar

Yelp
Stoped here on our way upstate. It was a beautiful spot to Cath a meal and a great cider. we didn't get to see the whole place there was a private party and we couldn't go past the main barn. but that being said the pizza and the drinks along with the staff are brilliant. go and check it out.

Yelp
We stopped here with our family for drinks & lunch and it was perfect. The cider & food were great. We placed a pretty large order of food and it was done fast. There is plenty of seating that is covered. I loved that they were dog friendly so I could bring my dog. We will be back!

Yelp
The ciders here were amazing! I personally loved the Little Wild cider (on the sweeter side). The donuts were also incredible! It was a nice spot to hang out with friends and relax.

Yelp
Brooklyn Cider House upstate is a true treat for any occassion. I went after a hike in minnewaska and I have to say, I truly had a blast. The property is so relaxing, the views are incredible, and there's plenty of food to keep you satisfied for hours here. I know that many people come here for apple picking, but I was there for the food and bar to hang out. You get this beautiful view of a private poks within the facility and plenty of seating for everybody. The food is good and the cider is tasty too. There is a very limited beer collection here, so be prepared for that. They also do not brew their own, I believe. I had the margherita pizza and the sausage rabe pizza. My recommmendafion of the two is the margherita. Make sure you try one of their ciders!
google avatar

Yelp
A nice setting for Apple picking, hard cider and pizza We came for lunch on a weekend and there were plenty of other customers for Oktoberfest. There's a store with hard cider, key lime pie, apple cider donuts and various other farm goodies. Beyond that there's an area for hot foods like burgers and pizza. The mushroom pizza was very tasty with plenty of mushrooms, onion and cheese, as was the margherita. You order and then they text you when the order is complete, which helps because it can get busy. Outside that area there's a pretty body of water with some tables; watch out for the pesky wasps though. Beyond that is the orchard which looked spacious. Everything was a bit pricey, reminiscent of Brooklyn prices. Donuts were $1.50 each and a bottle of hard cider was $5. Pizza was $13-15.

Yelp
Great place to go with friends for cider and pizza! Lots of seating and places to roam. Great for kids and have live music regularly

Yelp
Great spot to take a break from nyc. We were sad to hear the Brooklyn location closed during covid but we're fortunate we were able to drive out of the city to New Paltz. When we first arrived, we were able to do a cider tasting, and our server was super friendly and knowledgeable, so we knew exactly which ones we wanted to drink for lunch and take home. It was great being able to hear firsthand how the cider is made and what makes each cider unique. The Kinda Dry cider and rosé cider were our favorites; we also bought extra to take back home. The food was amazing! Highly recommend the dragon's breath pizza that has chorizo, jalapeños, and hot honey. The prices were a little more on par with nyc prices, but the pizzas are definitely worth it. The outdoor seating is super spacious and social distancing friendly with a great view of the lake and orchards. I definitely hope we can make it back out here again soon!

Yelp
Friend and I wanted to get out of the city for a day and kinda cram all of autumn into one day as well and this place hit that nail right on the head. They have so much outdoor space, beautiful views, amazing cider... I personally like the super dry one the best and decent on the spot made pizza. Would recommend for a nice group trip if you want to escape the city and just enjoy what upstate has to offer, only thing you must have a car to get here and it gets very busy quickly.

Yelp
Loved this place, loved the ambience, fury kids are allowed, strawberries and apples were delicious, of course the cider and the ribs and burger

Yelp
The atmosphere is nice and open. Family and dog friendly. The outdoor seating is beautiful and spacious. A great setting to enjoy a late lunch after hiking in the Catskills. It took about 30 minutes for the pizza to be ready, but it was worth it. The cider was really tasty. Not overly sweet like hard ciders you'll find elsewhere.

Yelp
What's not to love? Tons of great ciders, both on tap and to purchase by the bottle. Great food options, including pop up stands like a German sausage one right around Oktoberfest. Excellent views with outdoor seating and live music. Options for apple picking and last but not least fresh, warm apple cider donuts. Love coming here when in the area.

Yelp
Visited Brooklyn Cider House on a perfect Friday evening in autumn. Enjoyed some of the delicious cider and food as we explored the property. Quality: Ended up making a detour to Brooklyn Cider House on Friday evening. Started our visit with a full Tasting trying all six ciders on tap: Kinda Dry, Half Sour, Bone Dry, Still Bone Dry, Raw, and Solstice. My favorite was their classic semi-sweet Kinda Dry, though I was also partial to Raw, a hazier funky style. At the end we selected a Bottle of Kinda Dry to bring outside to enjoy with some food. We ordered a 3 Mushroom White Pizza, which hit the spot. Covered with mozzarella, onions, rosemary, aged Parmiagiano Reggiano, truffle oil, and mushrooms, the pizza had a slightly burnt crust and rich flavor. It was a perfect match for our cider. Quantity: Tastings come with 2oz pours of each cider. Bottles of Cider contain about two full glasses. The pizza was perfect as a snack for two. Value: $10 for a Tasting of 6 Ciders. $10-$14 for Bottles of Cider. $15 for the 3 Mushroom White Pizza. Ambiance: Brooklyn Cider House is located in Upstate New York in the town of New Paltz. The property is actually shared between Twin Star Orchards and Brooklyn Cider House. They have a large barn near the parking lot that serves as a taproom and store. Behind it you can follow a trail to the food setup or over to the rows of trees. There are plenty of picnic tables under a covering near the food or outside on the lawn overlooking a small lake. There is also lots of room for children and dogs to run around a bit as you enjoy your cider and snacks. Crowd: A small crowd was spread across the property. Some folks enjoying cider in the taproom, others grabbing food, and the largest group exploring the property for apples. Service: Great bartenders who were extremely knowledgable about the different ciders on tap. Parking: Private dirt parking lot located in front of the barn.

Food is non existent...1.5 hours for pizza. Ran out of all other food options. 1 star (because I can't leave no stars). But is at least dog friendly. How bout them apples.

Yelp
Couldn't recommend this more on a fall day. We were driving back from Hudson and this was a delicious pit stop! Pizza was delish and the people were so friendly!

Yelp
While on a long drive back to NYC we randomly stopped at Brooklyn Cider House on the way home and it's such a smart decision. The grounds are so beautiful and picturesque with live music playing while we were there and benches indoor and out as well by a pond. They do warn you the food comes out as it's ready to avoid unhappy customer complaints. Their beer delicious, we were also pleased HH the burger and pizza too. Overall lovely hidden escape on our drive home!

Yelp
Very good hard cider in a very pretty location. During the Memorial Day weekend, they had Live music by the pond which also happens to be perfect for a picnic area. We stopped for cider tasting an ended staying for a few hours to listen to live music, eat some of the things we had brought on our trip and drink some tasty cider.

Yelp
My husband and I stumbled across this brewery while visiting another place in the area., we're so glad we did. We had some cider, beer and food. I had the rose cider and hubbster had some IPA's. We also had the brisket which was amazing along with potato salad which was also very tasty. We also tried the sausage broccoli rabe pizza which was good but wished it would've been a bit crunchier cause it was a tad wet. The crew that works here are all friendly and welcoming. We definitely will be back and recommend this place to everyone. CHEERS!

Yelp
The atmosphere is lovely. The pizza is great- especially the mushroom. It was fun doing a tasting of their ciders.

Yelp
Very good hard cider, excellent Neapolitan pizza and a fun, idyllic setting = great place to spend a few hours. We stopped here on a recent tour of upstate NY cideries and really enjoyed our visit. Brooklyn offers up some really good ciders to try and to take with you, which is reason enough to stop by. If you're hungry, they have limited but excellent food options, including Neapolitan pizzas and burgers. All the food our group sampled was great, and made us thirsty for more cider! ;-) The cider house is nestled on a pond, and there's plenty of open space, with indoor and outdoor seating. On the day of our visit, a local band was playing, and near where the food and drink was sold there was a collection of games (board and otherwise) to keep folks entertained. Of the cideries we visited on our trip, this one had the best food and setting. Throw in some good cider, and it's certainly worth a stop.

Yelp
What an awesome place! There was a free cider tasting which was great! Then we had cider on tap and truffle mushroom pizza. Great food and all reasonable prices. And we even got a beautiful sunset!

Yelp
I loved this place, great friendly staff, pizza and cider was excellent and a hundred acres of apples trees to wander through. Add in the gorgeous views, could not have asked for more.

Yelp
Stopped by the original Brooklyn Cider House on our way back home from hiking in Hudson Valley. They do U-Pick apples in their backyard here - $7.50 for the smallest bag, $15 for the middle bag and $25 for the biggest bag. Pick before you pay.. simply fill up your entire bag and head to the cashier after you're finished. We didn't participate in the U-Pick as we arrived at the orchard when it was already dark out.. We did participate in cider tastings at their tastings bar though. FREE OF CHARGE! What a pleasant surprise. Additionally, they have a "pavilion". Which consists of fast food options like pizza and sausages. They also serve alcohol here. Lots of board games available for you to play if you decide to hang out here!
