The food was delicious and the price was right. I was able to order the Brooklyn bowl with shrimp tempura and kung pao noodles and tried out the pork and chives dumplings 🥟. The noodles were one of the best I’ve had. The flavors were on point and the portions were satisfying. I live in Connecticut but I’m coming back again! Definitely a gem, don’t miss out!

Loved every single item I tried! The burger combo with the 3 dumplings was such a good way to try some things out. Flavor was great, quality of the food was delectable. Would definitely come back for sure. Mac and cheese dumpling was perfect and the apple pie one was amazing.

Was greeted warmly soon as we walked in. The owner is great! Lovely interior and welcoming atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and flavorful. Drinks were awesome as well. Definitely recommend!!

Brooklyn Dumpling Shop was a pleasant surprise. I was skeptical that it was too gimmicky but the food is legitimately good. The burger and 3 dumplings combo ($10 plus tax) was a tasty value. I would definitely reorder the BK classic burger and the Korean BBQ beef dumpling options again. The kale and vegetable potstickers, in comparison, seemed under seasoned and needed a dipping sauce of some sort. Thumbs up also to the design of their food containers. The order took 11 minutes to fulfill. There is a surcharge is you pay by credit.

Great food, customer service and ambiance. We were immediately greeted with excellent customer service as soon as we came in and were helped as we ordered, which was super helpful since this was our first time here. The food is self checkout and comes out in a super cool locker when it’s ready. We ordered the Mac and cheese dumplings, kbbq dumplings and dumplings in broth which were all amazing. Super unique flavor combos, and the Mac and cheese dumplings were my fav. Def worth making a visit to Brooklyn dumpling shop!

I came here for takeout and was promptly greeted by the host, who explained the special. Ordering from the kiosk machine was straightforward and convenient. The restaurant has a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. ** I ordered the special deal, which featured a Korean BBQ burger and came with your choice of side (I opted for Kung Pao chicken dumplings). I also included a side of crispy pork and cabbage dumplings.

The Brooklyn Dumpling Shop was wonderful to work with. They catered for our Roosevelt Racers STEM Workshop at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. We enjoyed 3 variants of their Specialty Dumplings, the Korean BBQ, Mac & Cheese, and Pepperoni Pizza. The students especially devoured the pizza dumplings but all were uniquely delicious. The Upper East Side location had pleasant service and a very clean and relaxed seating. We definitely would recommend and hope to work with The Brooklyn Dumpling Shop again in the future.

Korean dumplings were amazing! I loved the chicken scallion dumpling soup. Warm and friendly staff!

Brooklyn Dumpling Shop is a fun little shop. It's an dumpling automat themed shop. When you walk in your order from a digital kiosk. You wait for your food to be prepared, then when available they come out of the cubby in the automat. If you want something quick and aren't in the mood to to anyone it's good because it's free of human interaction. They open till 10 pm and have a bar with beers and wine. I wish it was open later. This is something that would be cool after a late night. I wish I could give a higher rating, but the dumplings are meh and are small portions for the price. The first time I got the vegan dumplings which didn't have much flavor. The second time I got the Mac and cheese dumplings which tasted like stoffers Mac and cheese inside a dumplings. They were fun, but not great. Each order of dumplings is about $12 after tax and tip. Come her for the gimmick and you'll enjoy it. If you come solely for the food you'll be disappointed.

I like the decor of the small shop. The outdoor seatings are nice with a few tables and a lounge chair. Inside there are a few bar stools with a ledge table. This is pretty much self-serve. No human interaction needed, unless you have an issue. 1 staff is there in the back. You order at the kiosk. It gives you a receipt with a barcode on it. Look at the e-board to the right side above the automats (they look like lockers). Find your name and wait for it to say ready. If you scan before then, it will say not ready anyways. When it says ready, scan your receipt barcode, it will tell you the locker number and then that locker will slowly open for you to take your food out. Voilà. Enjoy your food. I had the pork dumplings in broth. That was delicious. Yum yum. Not too spicy. My favorite for dumplings. It is about $9 for 5 dumplings in the soup. It had some rice at the bottom. It is filling, especially since I drank all the soup. That is a meal for me, but if you wanted to try a few types of dumplings, you can share with a friend. I've also tried their fried dumplings, but frankly I don't like crispy fried dumplings. The insides were flavorful, but I'm not totally converted. I would still recommend if you wanted to try out the novelty of the automats since not many places have this.

Fair warning: Little to no customer service aspect. If you need something after you've closed out your order it's not easy to get a staff members attention in the back. I understand this quick serve concept, but it's just a little odd. There are a handful of banquettes inside and tables out side. The order kiosks and lockers are in the center of the room. There are no extra napkins, straws, etc available to self serve. They use single use plastic products and don't have recycling bins. I found the peanut noodles to be next to tasteless- nothing peanut about it. The crispy pork dumplings were good but did not come with any sauce not even soy sauce. Honestly, I'd pick another dim sum or Asian restaurant over this. I'm not sure if I'll return.

I can honestly say that I am glad I came here. The cuisine was simply fantastic. I like that they offer a variety of dumplings. The service here was quickly and simple. Vadym was extremely helpful and pleasant to us. The ambiance was stunning. I love how they have a machine that delivers our meal when it's ready. Pretty cool spot; certainly would return

They have multiple locations, but the Upper East Side one just opened in June. It's easy to either order through their website or from the kiosk at the restaurant. The food is ready quickly and placed in these nifty lockers. I've tried both the Pork & Cabbage Potstickers (dumplings) and the Spicy Pork Soup Dumplings. The Spicy Pork Soup Dumplings were my favorite. They have so much flavor! The combo is a good deal. I LOVE the waffle fries! It's a strange combination, but the waffle fries are well seasoned and taste so good. I'll be a regular here!

Spread the word on this place. Really good burgers! So far I have tried the Koren style and the classic style and both were awesome. A big variety of traditional and unique dumpling options. There is also a bunch of noodles but I have not tried those. Pro tip: $10 lunch special.

Food: Delicious food from traditional dumplings like Pork and Cabbage to Specialty dumplings like Mac and Cheese and Bacon Cheeseburger (wow) and my favorite Chicken Parmesan (yum). They also have amazing Apple Pie dumplings as well as Hot Chocolate Brownie dumplings that are mouth watering. Dumplings in Broth are great for winter season and their delicious waffle fries are great year around. Service: Top notch service, super fast and efficient, order foos through the automated kiosk, pay with card or Apple Pay and food is always cooked fresh and ready in 7-10 minutes, and always served hot. Ambience: Beautiful small local spot that's always clean and fresh inside. Has plenty of seating inside and outside. Wall mounted tables with chairs, also bar seating available where they serve cold beers on tap as well as red, white or rose wine. Highly recommended for anyone who craves dumping. Give it a chance. You won't be disappointed.

To put it simply, this place is terrible. I guarantee the only appliance they have in the kitchen is an air fryer. The food so clearly comes from the frozen section of a grocery store. Great Addition to the UES. My four year old loves dumplings so we decided in this place before we head to the library around the corner. We ordered at the kiosk and while we waited an employee gave him a sticker and paper and crayons to draw. Picking up our order at the automat was so cool my toddler scanned the bar code and waited for the tiny doors to open and he grabbed his food. The kids meal comes with a savory and sweet option, waffle fries, an apple juice and real plastic beginners chop sticks for 10$! The packaging was super cute and easy to take to go. We will be back to try the other options and the beer!

Excellent new addition to the UES! Welcome to the neighborhood. Step up to the machines, order the dumplings and then sit back until your order arrives in the automat. Shop is relatively small but there is counter seating on the inside and seats set up outside. I tried the Kung Pao Chicken dumplings and thoroughly enjoyed them. I will definitely be back to try their other selections. Hope they have a long life here in the UES!

Was stoked when I saw this place was coming to our neighborhood. I've been a few times and haven't been disappointed. I've tried some of the Interesting specialty dumplings - Mac and Cheese, Korean BBQ, Lamb Gyro, and Buffalo Chicken. All served hot enough to make the 2 block trip home, filings well seasoned and really tasty. Dumplings served seared or fried. Add to that the very friendly service, and a great, though small eat-in seating. I look forward to continuing to eat my way through this great menu! I really

Truly one of the worst meals I've eaten in a very long time. Everything is poorly seasoned and poorly cooked. And I tried lots of items. The best thing was probably the crispy shrimp. We tried the noodles, the steamed and seared dumplings, as well as the dumplings in soup all unbelievably bad. The chicken parm dumpling tasted like a worse pizza roll, lol. I would give it a 1 because again some of the worst food I've eaten, but I kinda feel bad dumping on a new restaurant that didn't do anything wrong besides just being terrible. Also at least it was memorable? lol

So this place opened and was great but no matter how many times I have been this place ever single time including tonight. They screw up our order every single time. We started ordering smaller orders hoping they would get it right sure enough the screwed up the order. I wish they would just pay attention to our order. Tonight we ordered Reuben dumplings and we got Mac and cheese not sure how that is the same. Really frustrated and annoyed customer that in the 6 or 7 times we have eaten in or ordered out that the order is always wrong

Avoid. Expensive. Sub-par. Total gimmick. The dumplings were TINY and too much dough. What was this place thinking? Two of us tried it and I also chatted with some others there. Bad novelty. Will go out of business soon. I should have taken a photo of the dumplings. For $7 we got 6 tiny pork and chive dumplings. Miniature dumplings. Mainly dough and very little meat inside. So imagine a mini dumpling with a tiny filling. I used to think Taco Bell took the cake for the worst franchise possible, but I think this tops it. I'm rooting for this place to go under... and if you read reviews (e.g. EastSideFeed), they have the same opinion.

I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but I can see how it appeals to college kids or bar hoppers looking for something small to snack on. The staff was very nice. The take out dispenser box was an interesting touch. Otherwise, I didn't have a particularly strong opinion about the food.

Such a fun new spot on the UES. Make sure to try the sampler so you experience all of their speciality flavors. I got the lamb gyro, Korean beef and Reuben and each were fantastic! The only downside was the wait time but if you're in no hurry this is a great takeout option

Food's good but it's very inconsistent. They're constant running out of things and changing up the menus. I'd go more often if they focused more on having food in stock, and less on fancy food cubbies.

Was, so looking forward to this place. I am disappointed. The few things I tried were adequate. Not great not bad. For me one of the biggest problem is it is too hot to sit outside and the air-conditioning inside is almost nonexistent. The other problem is the customer does all the work! You order on a screen. To find prices you have to look up, really look up to the price list on the top of the ovens .T here are no prices on takeout menus. After you order you have to pay by credit card!!! You cannot use cash!!! (I don't like putting my credit card out there and I don't like charging for a seven dollar order of dumplings.) After you get all this done, you also have to give your phone number! You are standing right there in a very small space you can see when your order comes through. They taut grab and go. One of the things that does not travel well are dumplings. So eating them there would be better. They have been open a few weeks now and I don't see where there has been any improvement in making it customer friendly. Though, you as a customer, do all the work you get no paycheck at the end of the week! :-)

Brooklyn dumpling shop UES is by far one of the dopest spots around herGreat vibes , the ambiance is amazing service is great. And the dumplings are unreal!!! The breakfast dumplings are crack.
