Brooklyn Fare

I absolutely love this market! Their salmon is always fresh and high quality, and I truly hope they start offering sea bass soon. The strawberries are fantastic, and I’d love to see more South American fruits like mango, chirimoya, maracuyá, lúcuma, and guanábana added to the selection. The Argentinean chorizo is a standout, and their variety of meats and seafood is impressive. I also appreciate the great selection of pastas and sushi options. The fresh bread is wonderful, and their drinks selection is solid—though I’d love to see a wider variety of wines, liquor, and champagne in the future. Overall, this market is a gem, and I look forward to seeing it grow even more!

Today, I had a terrible shopping experience at this supermarket, they refused to sell the goods based on the price tag. I couldn't accept that! It makes me disappointed and angry. I used to shop in this new and large store, and I could always find some special price and a surprise like $8 for 2 dozen eggs, $3.99 for 1 Gallon milk. Indeed, I knew egg prices were high now, however, I found a good price tag for eggs. It showed $8.49 for 2DZ(unit price $4.25 per dozen), I took 2 dozen of them to the cashier, and they showed different prices about $12.99. They called the manager, and after a while, a manager came and explained maybe I had taken the wrong items cause someone might put the wrong goods on the blank shelf. So I went back and checked the price myself, and found it was the correct goods with the right tag and labels. I showed the picture I took to the managers, and they argued with me. They unreasonably denied my understanding of the price and didn't admit anything wrong with the price tag. How stupid they are! I led a manager to the shelf and showed the price tag to ensure my understanding was correct. Eventually, he said it was an impossible price and there must be something wrong with the tag printing. They refused to sell the eggs according to the tag. I was ashamed of them! What a SUPER **** market!

I go to Brooklyn Fare every morning to get breakfast & Bakery in there is amazing the Baker Miss Amal makes some of the pastry and coffee that I ever had in the city. I recommend everyone to go at least once and try it you won’t be disappointed great customer service very welcoming from the moment you walk in you will enjoy everything I promise

I get my coffee here almost every day, and it’s always made with care and a smile. Amal is not only skilled but also genuinely kind, making each visit a great start to my day. Consistently great service and delicious coffee—highly recommend!

Love this place under my apartment, really convenient and nice to shopping for groceries. AMAL is a nice person who always has a smile every day and willing to make coffee, bakery and lots of things, 5 stars of course!!!

Not sure where all of these good reviews are coming from. What was once a plentiful Pathmark was torn down and gentrified into million dollar condos and an overpriced grocery store filled with rotting produce. I wish I took more photos but I was shocked to find these wrinkled, squishy peppers and you can always count on their garlic to be black and molded. Their wet produce like leafy greens are also usually bruised, small, and in the worst form. Disappointing and disrespectful to the community and customers. Take the extra walk and go to Trader Joe’s or Metro Acres if you’re looking for food that won’t be rotting the next day.

As a resident of One Manhattan Square, I can say that I am beyond satisfied with the brand new location of Brooklyn Fare!! They have a wide variety of selections from fresh produce, organic, snacks, fresh food, etc. and everything you could ever imagine. Myself and the residents of OMS are super happy with the new grocery store!

The supermarket is nice to have over the local deli spots in the air. Wide range of products, some reasonably priced. I visit the bakery quite often to get my breakfast, Amal is the sweetest & makes a wonderful cup of espresso ☺️ you won’t be disappointed. The muffins are good too, made on the premise daily.

After 12 years since Pathmark closed down, there's finally another supermarket in its place. The sale prices are not bad and comparable to the Fine Fares and C-towns nearby. It's a pretty large supermarket with a good deli counter with ready-made dishes. It's well-lit and super clean with wide aisles. I'd recommend giving it a try.

This store is a short walk from my home and the 10 PM closing times is very convenient for me since I am always finding out I have run out of something. The sale prices are good and I like the produce and beverage selections.

There are some good sales here, and it's good to have another grocery store in the neighborhood, but it is always a chaotic mess whenever I go in here. The cashiers never seem to know what they are doing, and always have to be told that something is on sale because it does not automatically ring up that way. In the produce department, sometimes the items are not labeled and none of the workers ever know what the prices are. The checkout lines become super clogged because the layout is just odd. This is a store that we have needed in the neighborhood for over 10 years and it feels like a huge disappointment. Even now I am looking at a receipt from just shopping there, and I was charged full price for an extra can of soup which was supposed to be on sale in any case...

So happy we have this convenient grocery store opened close to us. All staff are nice and the prices are very reasonable.
