"There’s a second location of Brooklyn French Bakers in Park Slope. Founded by three French transplants, it looks like a great place to pick up a croissant before work, provided you keep a lint roller on you: their croissants are a delicious, flaky mess." - Will Hartman, Willa Moore
Randomly walking around Park Slope when I came across this place. Looked through the window and saw the most appetizing Croissants I have ever seen outside of France. Sold. Walked in and heard some of the customers speaking French. Truly sold. Tried the Croissants, Muffin Croissant and the Pain Au Chocolat. Amazing. This place is legit good. So happy with my new discovery!

I first discovered this place last month. The first time I had it was the best & had me coming back. Quite pricey at $5 for chausson aux pommes however I was willing to pay. I've been back about 3-5 times since then & it's been a disaster since. The chausson aux pommes have mostly been filler with air & no apple at all. I even got one today & not only was there no apple pureé but the little pureé seemed like it was water down & didn't even taste like apple at all no exaggeration, just water. Please make enough pureé & share it evenly between all the pastries because I've wasted my money each time buying air. For that price, they should be perfect each time. It's happened atleast 3 times to me so I had to address it...There is another French bakery in the neighborhood & their chausson aux pommes is filled with a beautiful amount of pomme pureé & beautifully flaky pastry (which is another thing that I could complain about but I understand that sometimes the flakiness may be harder to achieve so I was willing to overlook that). The only reason I gave two stars was because of the cashiers that are always lovely when I come in.

Good coffee and croissant was good, very light,I could have eaten 10 of them and not been bloated. Cinnamon roll was fantastic.

Best croissant in the state! I got the almond and the plain croissant, and they are out of this world. Both are buttery, have a good crust and perfectly flakery. The staff is so nice that when I circle back for the second round, he secretly gave me an extra croissant 🫶

Service was good and space was clean. The baguette was very good but croissant was soft and not flaky / crispy. Would come back for baguette next time.

The almond croissant belies a terrible secret; beneath its mantle of bible page thin buttery layers, beyond its outer core of almond paste sits an obscene inner core of thick, delicious gnashy chocolate. This is a crunchy, airy delight, destined to be a mainstay of many a lazy Sunday morning breakfast ritual around Park Slope.

Mindblowing croissants and pains au raisins and au chocolat. Every pastry is a delight. And their crowning achievement are their sublime baguettes - a joy to behold, so simple, yet so perfect. Do yourself a favor and visit.

Yelp
Amazing new-to-the-area French boulangerie in Park Slope. People claim their plain croissant and pain au chocolat are the best in the city. I will concur that flavors and textures are as close to my memory of Parisian croissants as any I've had in the States. The shop is small and busy on a Sunday morning, so I didn't take any photos inside. Suffice it to say the baguettes look amazing. Customer service was friendly and kind. Pricing is also shockingly reasonable, compared to other high profile bakeries in the hood. No space to sit, so eat your goods at home (or on the street like I did).

Yelp
Perfect croissants! Quiche was okay, but not great like the croissants. I look forward to trying the great looking breads.

Yelp
Best croissant in Brooklyn? I don't think so. I bought 6 for a brunch - all of them except one was completely burnt on the bottom. I went early in the morning thinking they might even still be warm - nope - stone cold and while told they were made the same day - they did not taste that fresh. Was it passable? Yes. Was it the best croissant in Brooklyn? No. Would I buy from there again? No. I lived in France, so maybe my expectations are too high but at almost $5 a croissant their standards should be higher. Maybe all the hype has compromised quality due to higher demand?
