"Brooklyn Hots, located at 291 Greene Avenue, Clinton Hill, near Classon Avenue, was a restaurant offering its take on the Rochester dish known as the garbage plate. Opened in March 2022 by Brian Heiss, it aimed to reimagine the dish with fresh ingredients, including natural wine and high-quality meats. Despite initial popularity, financial difficulties and misconceptions about wait times led to its closure announcement set for December 30.
