Brother Fox is a neat little concept of a restaurant, with the adjoining speakeasy (Sister Hen) being an absolute highlight.
The menu variety and quality of food was immaculate, with pricing being largely reflective of this - big hats off to all of the kitchen staff! It is worth noting that as this venue errs more towards the 'fine dining' end of the spectrum, serving sizes are on the smaller side (as is common in such venues); I'm not including this as a downside, I just thought it worth noting in case you are looking to dine somewhere with a more 'pub fare' sized meal.
The vibe of Brother Fox, as stated above, leans more toward fine dining, but not in a 'suit and tie' sort of way, but rather in a d e m u r e , almost sultry, way. I'd be very surprised to see young children or "unruly" individuals here.
Our experience with staff was fine, but certainly nothing stellar. Toward the end of our meal specially (appetisers complete, still eating our mains, and only ~50% of the way through our bottle of wine), we felt somewhat 'rushed' by our waiter, who repeatedly interrupted us to ask whether we were ready to order dessert and/or close out, even after we stated we weren't ready yet, and would wave them down when we were. Unfortunately, this didn't cultivate the relaxed energy we were hoping for, given that we were catching up with friends we hadn't seen in years, and bordered on making us feel unwelcomed; while I understand Brother Fox is a business, it did feel a bit cold to be treated in a 'checklist item' sort of way, simply looking to take our money and move us on our way.
Fortunately, our experience in Sister Hen afterward served to redeem our experience, and allowed us to finish our night on a more positive note. The staff, the menu, and the vibes were all phenomenal; I would highly recommend visiting here should you be at Brother Fox, or even as an experience on its own.
Also, there is no onsite parking available, however there is a dirt lot a 1-minutes walk down the road, where one can park for free. Just thought this worth noting so you can better plan ahead should you choose to visit.
Overall, I'm not sure I would return to Brother Fox, purely from a customer service standpoint. For me personally, no amount of delicious food (which it was) can compensate for an uncomfortable experience; I can't truly enjoy my food if I can't relax while doing so. Perhaps I'd be willing to visit again on weekday, in hopes it is less busy and therefore staff may be less pushy.
