Jacqueline is open at the Optimist. Summer’s unofficially here. | Eater Nashville

"Housed in Silo Studios, this fast-casual shop spotlights Philly cheesesteaks that can be stuffed with chicken, buffalo-sauce-infused chicken, steak, or veggies and topped with Whiz, provolone, onions, and a variety of other toppings; it soft-opened in March and is co-owned by Jeremy Smith, John Hoffman, and Nicholas Nathan. The venue features TVs airing game-day matches, an outdoor patio for al fresco beer, boozy (and nonalcoholic) milkshakes and cocktails, and its grand opening event (May 4) runs 11 a.m. to midnight with live music from 4 to 8 p.m., cornhole games, and giveaways." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Stopped by for lunch - the loaded fries are amazing! The philly cheesesteak is solid. Very generous portion of meat. The vibe is chill. Indoor and outdoor seating. Would highly recommend it.

This Cheesesteak was hands down the best one i’ve ever had. I got the Big Bro Combo w/Steak, Whiz Sauce, Peppers, Mushrooms, and Grilled Onions. I have to say it’s on the more expensive side for a single meal($23) but it was extremely hot and delicious. One cool thing i liked is you can watch them cook it through the windows. Great environment(lots of TV options, Sports mainly) Definitely recommend👍

An excellent spot to grab a quick lunch. Prices are fair for the area, service is promt and friendly. The food is delicious with high quality bread surrounding tender steak and fresh cheese sauce. This is a must visit if your in the Nation's area of Nashville.

I ordered food to go from Brotherly Love, but wish I had known it was so cool inside and I would have eaten there and stayed for a drink or two! As a Philadelphian, many places outside of PA say that they have a good cheesesteak, but many do. Brotherly Love, on the other hand, really does have the closest thing to a true Philly cheesesteak. I got the junior with wiz, and it came on an Amoroso roll! I was shocked, I haven’t seen amoroso rolls outside of the Philly area before. The bread was great, the meat was great and the wiz was exactly what I needed. Sorry to all the other Philly cheesesteak places in Nashville - this one is the only good one!

I am always on the lookout for a good Philly Cheesesteak! This place isn't close to home for me, but I had heard good things about them. So, once we were in the general area of them, we had to check them out. We were NOT disappointed!!! This was one of the BEST cheesesteaks in the mid-TN area! It is probably good that they aren't closer to me, because I would be eating here EVERY WEEK!!! I got the Big Bro with Wiz, mushrooms, and jalapenos. My wife got the Big Bro with provolone. Our kiddo got the kids cheeseburger. Everything was delicious! So GOOD!! You MUST check this place out if you are looking for a good Philly Cheesesteak!!

If you are missing cheesesteaks from Philly or just looking for a stellar sandwich, look no further than Brotherly Love. Wiz, no wiz, onions, no onions!. It’s all great! Bread is soft but has integrity (unlike… well anyway), meat is juicy and cheese that actually adds flavor! I highly recommend this place for a slow lunch on a Saturday, grab a beer and enjoy.
