The 25 Best Tacos In Los Angeles

"Conveniently located at the corner of National and Sawtelle just off the 405, Brothers Cousins is the late-night taco kingpin of the Westside. Lines begin to form around 6pm for the main attraction: a wide, bubbling pan of meats that have been braised into submission. Choose your cut of choice—asada, carnitas, chorizo, lengua, suadero, among others—and the taquero plucks the meat from the pan and chops it to order, scooping it into a warm tortilla in one swift motion. They’ll usually have some soft, fat-cooked potatoes and carmelized onions to help yourself to as well, and the salsa station is always well-stocked and pristine " - sylvio martins, garrett snyder, brant cox, nikko duren

The 18 Best Mexican Restaurants On The Westside

"Meet the late-night taco kingpin of the Westside. Conveniently located just off the 405, you can peel off the freeway for an impromptu taco at Brothers Cousins anytime between 6pm and midnight—just expect lines to start forming as soon as they open. The main attraction at this roadside spot is its wide, bubbling pan of tender meats that have been braised into absolute submission. Choose your cut of choice—asada, carnitas, chorizo, lengua, suadero, among others—and the taquero chops it to order, scooping it into a supple corn tortilla in one swift motion. Pro tip: If the line is down the block, Brothers Cousins has an “annex” location two blocks west with smaller crowds. " - sylvio martins, jess basser sanders, brant cox, arden shore

This is a great example of how LA street mexican food culture is like. This place has one of the best pastor tacos in LA. Their meats are well seasoned and are not dry. Their salsas have great flavor and heat. The lines can be long but it is worth the wait. You just can't beat this place when it comes to taste, quality, and price.

This is a great taco truck. We ordered: Stomach Cheese taco Tripe cheese taco Cabeza Mulita Lengua Mulita Chicken quesadilla Lengua burrito My favorite meat was their chicken and lengua. Very juicy and well seasoned. I found the other meat dry or burned. The quesadilla and Mulita tortilla is much better than the taco tortilla. Great price and very clean food overall. They have all sauces available for you to pack and take home

Hands down for the best al pastor taco so far. Asada mulita was even better than anything we had in Mexico. Regret we haven't tried it earlier. Absolutely the best, we will comeback every week for our taco night.

The best tacos I’ve had in my life!!!! Their Al Pastor is so insanely good. And I love that they give you the burrito unwrapped and let you add all the salsa, onions, cilantro etc and then they re wrap it for you. And their customer service is the best too. Can’t recommend this place enough.

My first time trying street tacos and they were decent! The lengua was by far the best meat, followed by chorizo. Unfortunately the chicken was very dry and the corn tortillas weren't anything special, but I tried the al pastor burrito and it was probably the best thing on the menu. There was a long line when we arrived, so we waited for at least 30 minutes or more, but service was quick once we got to the front. The station at the end allowed us to grab as many toppings and sides as we wanted, including salsa, avocado cream, onion, cilantro, lime, jalapenos, radish and cucumbers. There were seats at the end to eat there as well if you didn't want to take it to go.

It's gonna be really hard to top this place. I would argue the best street tacos in LA! I've tried all of them on the west side and none can compare. Al Pastor is the top choice followed by Suadero. Must get the Al pastor burrito with pineapple. The toppings are endless and the salsas provided fresh and note worthy. Totally worth the wait- cash only!!

Absolutely outstanding! The al pastor is just fantastic. Long lines, but they move quickly.

It’s everything and more you could ask for from an LA taco spot. The wait moves fast but consider this an evening out over the club. Al pastor and pineapple to fill your boots! Ate on our car trunk.
