We live a block away, so one day when the power was out we walked over for a sandwich. Any time I’ve been by this place it looks kind of empty so I thought maybe it wasn’t good. But we popped in and there were plenty of people in there! There are a lot of fun and creative sandwich options to choose from. We ordered two sandwiches and grabbed some drinks (they had some fun options!). The sandwiches were pretty good, and HUGE. I got the California Club one, it really lacked salt but the ingredients seemed fresh. Maybe I’m just a salty girl. The Italian sandwich was hella good though. Salty and meaty. The cheese and briny flavors were so good. The service was great as well. The cashier was so sweet and happy to see us. I wish they had a couple little tables and chairs! I would have totally enjoyed my meal there. The music was good and I liked the mural inside. Add some places to sit and eat! Will def come back here. I for sure know how expensive it is to rent in Oakland so I will happily return here and support them. 😁😁😁

As someone originally from New Jersey, finding a deli in California—especially in Oakland—was a refreshing surprise. Depending on the time of day, service can range from a quick 5 minutes to a more leisurely 25, but it's always worth the wait. The staff running the shop are incredibly friendly and consistently polite. If you're in the mood for a quality deli sandwich, Brother's Deli is the place to go.

So excited to have a delicious deli in the neighborhood! I've been working my way through the menu and everything is so good. Great quality ingredients and super friendly staff. They've only been open a few weeks and they do get busy so be prepared to wait, but don't worry it's well worth it. Great price for the portions too.

We have been super excited for this new deli to open in the neighborhood and it does not disappoint! The guys there are super friendly and the sandwiches are delicious. There’s a lot to choose from on the menu, including some tasty drinks. Today, we tried the classic Italian Sub with all the veggies and the Brothers’ Choice hot sandwich. Super happy to get a new food option and a fresh local business in the area.

Excellent food, friendly staff, and massive sandwiches! You’ll be full on half but want to eat it all. Very fresh boars head meats, soft rolls. My feedback to the sandwich makers is to go a little heavier on condiments and seasoning. Sandwiches were super tasty but nothing jumped out at us. Ordering online and picking it up when you get there it’s definitely the pro move. I’ll be back!

So stoked to have a good deli in the neighborhood!! I asked for the veggie sandwich on Dutch crunch and it was delicious. My husband got the California club as a large (extra meat & cheese) and it was great. They have a solid selection of drinks, chips, and some candy/granola bars as well. They use semifreddi’s bread. As a vegetarian I’m glad they have the toast menu and can’t wait to try more. I stopped by the day before they opened and talked to the brothers (owners), i love to see a local family owned business and it sounds like they have plans to expand to have more drinks & ice cream.

It's brand new deli place in Park Blvd, Oakland. This was really needed there. Very clean cut remodeled and ready to serve community. All deli are mostly boar's 🐗 head which makes most of them good but not all. Good to consider other brands and qualities. They have build-your-own deli (Subway like) too. Staff are super nice and responsive. Seating on the way to make the space even more vibrant. I wish they don't allow pet inside as I found during my visit a bit turnoff. It's accessible and free street parkings are available. Will be back to try more.

Sandwiches were delicious! Next time I want to request the chopped sando with the Dutch crunch bread that came with the cali club sandwich my husband ordered. Saved half for my kids and they loved the chopped sando. Easy for my 8 year old who is missing some teeth to eat because the bread and the filling is chopped up and soft! Great selection of drinks, chips and snacks as well. There was a line already when we arrived right at noon today (Saturday) when they opened. But the line moved fairly quickly to order and good things take some time to make! Their sandwiches are huge as other reviewers have noted. Really tasty and filling. Appreciated how clean the inside was and that they have benches on the side for you to sit and wait for your order to be ready. Will be back to try some of their other sandwiches!

Brother's Deli opened in Creative Framing & Gallery's vacated space. Space sans decor sells artisan hot/cold sandwiches, toasts. to go only. Seats for waiting for orders only. Limited street parking. Bites: Grinder Sub (14.95) -composite sandwich & salad for those who can't choose between them. Boar's Heads meats used. -ciabatta hosts a medley of cracked pepper mill turkey, ham, pepperoni, salami, & provolone with the former in abundance. The latter flavas merge. -salad of mayo, lettuce, onion, tomato, deli dressing & pepperoncini noticeable by the constant dripping/leakage from bottom of sammie. Individual flavas also intergrated. -all ingredients combined seamlessly for uniform comfort food experience. 4.5 stars no waiting prelunch. Ready in 5ish minutes

A neighborhood Deli, exactly what we want and needed! Friendly staff, accommodating, fresh ingredients providing quality sandos! I've came by twice now within a month, as there were a few items on the menu that I wanted to try. Though, on the top of my list was the Chopped Sando and the Italian Sub. Quite hard to decide which I prefer since they're both great so I think it'd just depend on where I'm having my sandwich next time since Chopped Sando can get messy. There are no tables to eat at inside, only a couple of benches to sit at while waiting for your order. Fine with me. I'll be back next time to try more items on the menu!

Some days, I'm just looking for an east coast style sub or just a dang good sandwich--I think that I've found a place that satisfies the craving. I've been wanting to try Brothers Deli for a bit and finally had the chance to stroll through Park Blvd today. First, the folks are here are cool. He gladly took my order and was very kind about my modification. I got the cold Italian sub - sub mortadella instead of ham. Every single thing from the lettuce to the meat to the bread was so fresh. The sesame roll was perfect - it was soft but held up against all the ingredients. Try it chopped! It's a little trendy but very tasty--I like the texture and distribution of flavor. My wife got basically the same but on the pizza bianche bread (special sandwich of the day) - so good! Ambiance is clean and simple. No tables to sit and eat but there's a couple of benches while you wait. The only complaint that I might have is the parking situation but it's a neighborhood spot so it's all good. We'll definitely be coming back here again and again.

The most AMAZING Panini I've ever had in my life. EVER. I ordered the chipotle chicken Panini. It was extremely rich in all its flavor. You can just tell that they put so much thought into the ingredients to make this sandwich come together to hit every taste palate. Super fresh ingredients also. I really like how they offer both sweet and savory! Such great hospitality & pretty timely service. Very clean environment & welcoming ambiance. Definitely my new sandwich shop!

Some of the best deli sandwiches I've had in a while - my previous go-to spot has now been bumped down the list a position! The menu includes classics plus some creative variations and the sandwiches are generously sized. The toast flight is a great idea and I look forward to trying all the different kinds of toast on the menu. The people who work here have been friendly and efficient every time we've been in, keeping the line moving and getting sandwiches into people's hands quickly. Glad to have this addition to the neighborhood.

Lovely new place! Lots of options. We opted to try the Hot Italian sandwich as first timers. I'd definitely go back to try the Paninis! The service was great, they were out of rolls but they were able to provide the last roll for our sandwich as it was our first time and they wanted it to be a great first impression. Quick walk or drive back to the Lake Merritt to enjoy it with a view.

I've been meaning to drop by Brothers Deli for a few weeks now. The wait has been worth it. They offer freshly made deli sandwiches with good quality ingredients. You can order one of their custom sandwiches or make up one of your own. Service is quick and friendly. There is plenty of parking in a safe well traveled neighborhood. This is best sandwich that I've had since Genoa's on Telegraph closed - Authentically friendly service. Fresh produce. Quality meat and bread with large portions. Owned and operated by two brothers from the community. I usually travel ro downtown when I need a sandwich and hit Ratto's... but now there's an amazing deli in my neighborhood.

Great neighborhood spot. The sandwiches are always made to order with fresh ingredients and they're prices are really reasonable. Every sandwich I've gotten has been HUGE and delicious. I always think I'll eat half and save the rest for later but you know how that goes lol. The staff is super friendly and always nice. It's walking distance for me so that's a plus.

Oh thank you sweet baby Jesus for a fantastic deli back in the area! Finally trying Brothers Deli after several recommendations from my sister. What a delicious sandwich! Such a cute little spot, great service and vibe. Like legit neighborhood deli. I always try the Italian sub 1st at any spot and glad I did here. Great bread, everything was super fresh, and the sub was pretty big! Looking forward to trying some more of their sandos!

The owner was so kind to invite me back to try the complimentary Chopped Sando sandwich that I mistakingly didn't order on my first visit. It was also delicious w/turkey & ham & all the fixings on a fresh soft roll. He mentioned all sandwiches can be chopped by request. Next time I'll try a hot one, they have a great selection of menu items..Very nice and friendly staff..

Solid sandwich shop that was desperately needed in the area. Great price for a sandwich and very solid quality. The sandwiches are mostly your standards but with a few innovations like the chipotle chicken panini. I got the Italian sub and it was a throwback to classic delis I grew up with on the east coast. It was huge!!! The people working there are.. the brothers! In the flesh. And they're super friendly. I am excited to try the toasts next time, they sounded really good. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Sooooooo happy they are here in the neighborhood and SOOOOOO happy they are DELICIOUS! The bread is fresh, the ingredients are tasty and the whole vibe from the staff is the perfect neighborhood friendliness. Def coming back. Would highly recommend a loyalty program. The sandwiches are pretty pricey. But that won't stop me from returning.

Man we eat sandwiches in every city, try anyplace we can find them twice, but Brothers got that flavor that keeps you runnin back. You can get any sandwich there chopped, and if you ask them; you can even have them smash up your chips in the chopped sandwich. Thank me later. Nothing like smokin a fat doobie and an eating a sandwich you barely gotta chew/. Makes cotton mouth no problem.

Let me tell yall 10/10 definitely recommend ! Pesto turkey on ciabatta, bomb. The sandwiches are definitely made with love. The porportions are definitely worth the $14.88 I spent. The service was definitely above & beyond. The workers were very charismatic. The staff hooked us up & left us with a great taste in our mouth. The hospitality made me feel at home, they were very polite. The inside is very neat & clean, a lot of space for a sandwich shop. We took the food to go but when they get some seating, we'll be dining in. My sister got an Italian sub on a sesame roll & we swapped halves. Definitely was worth it. Finally found my favorite deli in Northern California!! Service was great too - they're super nice And I love the huge variety of chips!

I've been here a few times and the service just keeps getting better. They know I always ask for extra pickles but this time they were out yet I was given a small cup of pickle chips. Then I got a sample of possibly the new pickle spear. As a customer it feels great when not only a business recognizes you but also treats you special!

Heard about this place from a coworker and decided to try it out for the first time today for lunch. DELICIOUS, my sandwich was more of a DELECTABLE EXPERIENCE than a meal. The restaurant was clean, staff pleasant friendly and knowledgeable. The service was all around a delight. I had the Hot Boy which was very good. My co worker had the Brothers Choice and I ate most of it . Definitely go, excited to go back.

The Garlic Parmesan was quite literally the best deli sandwich I've tried. The staff were great and the spot itself felt clean and sleek. As an Oakland native, I'm genuinely happy this place exists. Absolutely coming back!

Since Genova closed, I haven't found a place worthy until now!! Brothers Deli sandwiches are amazing (well, I only tried one so far, but their menu looks pretty good)! I'm so glad I searched Yelp & there they were! They provide excellent customer service & are conveniently located right off the freeway.

Love love love that there is a new place to grab food on Park Blvd. Have lived in this neighborhood for 15+ years and would love to see more restaurants survive and flourish around here. Prices were reasonable for the size and quality. One sandwich could definitely be split between two people if you want to share. So far we tried Italian Sub, Cali Club, and Chopped Sando. They were open to me changing the bread up. Fresh ingredients, quality meats. Cali Club has been my and my kids favorite so far (can't go wrong with West Coast!). Hubby liked the Italian Sub. Said it reminded him of East Coast style (don't ask me what that means haha). Chopped Sando was ok but probably wouldn't get it again - everything is chopped up and I wasn't feeling the texture but maybe good if you need or like soft food. I'm looking forward to trying others. Maybe a hot sandwich next time. The owners were kind and friendly. He gave me a lot of pickles last time because I told him my kids ate all the pickles when I brought them home the previous time. I hope they do well and prosper and are open for more hours.

I have been waiting for a good deli to open in oakland, and I finally found it!!! I had driven past the deli while it was under construction and was waiting for it to open. i came across brothers deli being suggested to a food reviewer on instagram. I went that day about two/three weeks ago, and have been back about four times. the first time I tried a build it yourself sandwich and it was delicious. the roll was soft, and the ingredients were quality. when I went back I tried the panini with the peppercorn sauce and it was delicious! the turkey, spinach, thinly sliced red onions, cucumber and the peppercorn sauce in whatever bread that is we amazing!! next I tried the cali club and also, amazing!!! but what has become my favorite by far is the cali club with some modifications... I sub provolone for swiss, peppercorn sauce for mayo and mustard, soft roll for dutch crunch and it is TOP-TIER!! and speaking of top-tier, the customer service provided by the brothers is also fantastic. they are very patient, kind and personable. quality food + quality service = returning customer!!

This deli opened up in my neighborhood so had to go check it out! They are super nice and helpful with picking out the perfect sandwich. I got Italian to start and it's super delicious the meat tastes of quality and will def want to go back and try out some other options. They also have a build your own sandwich as well. The prices are great for how big the sandwiches are. The place is cute. They also have a wall with different variety of chips and drinks which is a nice add on to your sandwich. Definitely come and try this place out!

Got the Cali club. For a $18 sandwich by itself (including small tip) I was expecting more. Very bland and watery veggies. Only could find one small slice of avocado and the meat was nonexistent in at least 4 bites. Subway would've been more flavorful. My coworkers also had similar experiences. This was my first visit so maybe it was a bad choice of a sandwich. I will give it another shot with a different choice then update if necessary. I had high hopes for this place.

When you order ahead you still have to tell them when you get there and then they start to make your sandwhich. They are very slow which is why I tried to order ahead, but still waited 15 minutes after I got there. It doesn't make any sense. Hard to go here because it takes sooooo long

Fantastic sandwich. My friend told me to try Brothers Deli and I went down the next day. I had the Italian Panini which was excellent! I'll be back to try another sandwich soon.

This place is just fantastic. Actually owned by real brothers, Adrian and Carlos, who are super friendly and seem to be having a blast. My favorite sandwich on the menu so far is the Grinder Sub, which is absolutely freaking delicious. And I love that they've got a paper form for custom sandwiches. Design your own masterpiece and let the deli wizards whip it up for you! There is a real lack of great sandwich shops in Oakland, so I hope Brothers Deli lasts!

We had a group and ordered a few different things, but the submarine sandwich was by far the best (the others were excellent also -- Chicken Chipotle, BBQ Chicken, and the Grinder). I've had submarine sandwiches all over the place and I've never had one better than this! One of the Brother's who owns the place took out order, and he was super nice and friendly. This place deserve all the success they are earning with this deliciousness. Support them

I was so excited to see Brothers Deli pop up in this neighborhood since we have limited food options. I came as they were closing but they stayed opened and took me as their last order (thankfully cause I did not want to cook) . It's simple but cute inside & everyone was so friendly. I ordered the chicken & pesto panini and it was BOMB. Generous amount of meat. I loved it! Can't wait to try other sandwiches.

First of all these guys are exceptionally nice!!! I have been waiting patiently but also excitedly for this place to open, having heard all the work these guys did to get ready. The joys of living above them, and trust me when I say these guys are great neighbors and exceptionally good guys. Anyway today I finally got food from Brothers Deli. I started off with a vanilla iced coffee, since this was Saturday brunch for me. To eat, I selected to do the toast flight, which I highly recommend. I started with the bruschetta, moved from that to the avocado toast. I went basic not BLT because I was not feeling bacon this fine day. I topped of my flight with the whipped ricotta and hot honey, which was second favorite to the goat cheese with the fig jam and balsamic glaze. It was perfect sweet, salty, and tangy. While the ricotta and hot honey was creamy, sweet and just spicy enough to say good morning. I look forward to going back time and time again to basically try the entire menu. I think my next trip will be for a chopped sando, or maybe something else will grab my attention. Either way I am happy they are just a quick walk from my apartment.

Had the Italian sub. Good food, big portions--mostly bread and lettuce, but good toppings: peppers, 3 meats and cheese, mayo and lettuce. A bit messy from the mayo, lettuce and pepper juice but good. Really good warmed a bit. Fast and friendly service. Seems to be take-out only, at this time, no tables for dine-in.

10 of of 5, incredible. This deli respects the meat, so much was added that I couldn't have been happier. I ordered the Grinder Sub, delicious. I also met one of the owners, thank you for opening a deli that loads up the meats!! Good food like this makes everything after this sentence forgivable. The sandwich was really wet, the dressing/sauce was delicious so it wasn't like I minded. So much was running out of the sandwich it felt like a waste. It would be nice to eat outside too. Great food. I will be returning

Owners are bilingual and very welcoming. The ambiance is very family oriented, and very welcoming. The bread is soft, doesn't hurt your mouth, and the portion is decent size. It kind of reminds me of the Cafe Best and Fresh 2 on the opposite side of the lake.

Very good sandwiches-- large and filling if you are very hungry. Also, nice people running the place. Clean, kind, and adaptable. Check it out!

Brothers Deli is the best sandwich shop in Oakland if not the East Bay. From the ingredients they use, the options they have and the service they provide, I will always be a consistent and loyal customer. Their chopped sandwiches are absolutely incredible. Not to mention the sandwiches are huge... I love brothers deli and will continue to recommend it to anyone who will listen.

I saw the ad on IG and I had to try it. The staff was friendly and call you by name. The menu is pretty high up so I had to look up. It would be nice to have something at eye level or posted on the exterior. I ordered the Hot Boy and that thang was smackin! I asked for moderate heat. No pepperoncinis or jalapeños but the salad mix was delicious. The bread was perfect. Dutch crunch is usually harder to bite into but there's was perfect. The turkey and pastrami combo paired well together. *chefs kiss* The interior was very clean, the location is quaint for Oakland. The price wasnt bad for two meats.

After Genova Deli closed, I wasn't sure I'd ever find a deli here in Oakland I truly savored. Safeway sandwiches can be good, but it was never the same as a dedicated deli. My mom told me about this new deli and how amazing the sandwiches are. I decided to go in person and give them a try. I ordered a custom sandwich: chibatta, pepper turkey, cheddar, pepperonchinis, chipotle, and avocado (I believe). It was AMAZING! Each ingredient tasted SO fresh, and SO tasty! The sandwich was also really beautiful to look at! I called my order in, so I didn't stick around, but I really liked the sleek interior. I spied a group of customers at tables and knew this place was already getting good buzz. Also being Latin-owned? Supporting ethnic family members? It just got better and better! I'll be returning once I get paid. They are LEGIT.
