Man, this is Southern comfort wrapped up with love. If you’re in DeSoto, Texas, go get this today. Keith Lee said it’s a 10/10, and I second that! If you’re in Dallas—take the quick drive. I have no complaints, Can't wait for them to expand and have done in service because this food was delicious! The gentleman at register was very helpful & courteous! I love my people!!! The Catfish Sandwich, Salmon Sandwich and whatever else we ordered was all 🔥

OMG guys, the food was scrumptious! I ordered the Soulfood Burrito- chicken for my protein, let me just tell you the flavors were immaculate. It was so big and hearty, very fulfilling. I’m definitely going back to order again.

Well… I HAVE NOW FOUND MY GO-TO SPOT FOR CATFISH FROM NOW ON!!! This is by far the best catfish I’ve ever had. I ordered this through Uber Eats and it was still hot when it arrived at my doorstep!!! I asked for peppers/pickles and it was part of my order just as I requested. They also gave me an extra tartar sauce. First, I tried the catfish by itself. It’s seasoned so well that it can be eaten without any sauce. Then, I tried it with hot sauce. It was good with the hot sauce. However, when I tried it with their homemade tartar sauce… OUTSTANDING!!! I don’t know what y’all put in the tartar sauce but I could literally drink it! The only reason some tartar sauce is left is because I kept eating small pieces of the catfish by itself. You all truly outdid yourselves with this meal and I’ll be recommending your establishment to anyone I know!

I had the chicken with fries and a side of Mac and cheese. They use chicken thighs, no bones, but it was really good! Fries were good and had alot of seasoning on them. Mac and cheese full of flavor!!! I'll be going back to try more.

A nice spot with a friendly relaxed ALL inclusive vibe. The service was good. The place was clean with somewhat of minimal farmhouse modern appeal, simple. I'm not a huge fan of soul food. However, I enjoyed their renditions. A good place to meet-up for brunch, lunch, and conversations with friends and associates to hang out. As tasty as the chicken and waffles are, the soul food burrito with catfish is my favorite. While it came be enjoyed by all ages, the age group appeared to mostly be mid 20s & upper 30s.

The Soul Food burrito wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t anything amazing. I was a bit disappointed, it tasted like some stuffing was in it, and I didn’t expect that. The greens also didn’t have much flavor. The catfish was good, though. The brisket Mac & cheese was the best thing there; it was full of flavor. The portion here is good for the price; nothing was small. The service wasn’t amazing, but not bad. I’m not sure if their air was out, but it was really hot and loud, so you had to yell to talk to your friends. We were in and out in under 30 minutes.

I saw you guys on Keith Lee's TikTok, and living in De Soto, I've been eagerly waiting to try your food for months. Today, I finally pulled the trigger and, honestly, I hate to say it, but I'm pretty disappointed. Let's talk about the catfish. It tasted like... dirt. Yes, you read that right--literal dirt. The crispy coating was nice, but the flavor? It was so earthy that I half-expected someone to inform me I'd been served a side of potting soil. Maybe I got a bad batch? I've had bad catfish before, but this was on another level. Then there were the grits and shrimp. Oh boy, they were so salty I thought I might as well have been eating salt straight from the shaker. I had to wipe the sauce off the shrimp just to salvage my few shrimp. And as a self-proclaimed salt lover, I can tell you, this was not the good kind of salty. I really wanted to love everything, especially since I adore soul food! On a brighter note, I did enjoy the catfish dip you included--though I only managed one bite because, you guessed it, I couldn't touch the catfish. The macaroni and cheese? You guessed it again--over-salted. Not over-seasoned, mind you; just plain old over-salted. I really wanted to rave about you guys because soul food is my jam, and if Keith Lee loves you, I wanted to join the fan club! Maybe I'll try the burrito next time, but for now, I'm left feeling a bit sad. Here's hoping for a better experience next time!

Amazing food fish was cooked to a perfection and the fries were crispy and delicious will definitely visit again soon

I legit drove 40 minutes while hungover just to try this restaurant. I got there like an hour after they opened and the line wasn't too bad. The food did take a while to come out but I guess I kind of expected that considering all of the hype they've received from Kith Lee. Everything I had was good but the greens were tooooo salty, like hard to eat.

Let me start this off by saying the containers of hot sauce in both of my containers of food when I opened it they both had spilled out . I don't know if someone did not put on the tops correctly but unacceptable especially for the chicken and waffles the hot sauces can easily be put in the bag it does not have to be in the container because things like this happen. The waffles were not done not edible at all ,nothing to do with the hot sauce they just were not cooked properly the chicken 10 out of 10 The soul burrito 7/10 the catfish was the best part ,Mac didn't have a taste and there was hardly any greens inside of it also lacked flavor . It would also be nice if there was some type of sauce that came with it outside of the hot sauce Customer service was good prices are decent

I was at the doctor, and decided to get something to eat. This place didn't disappoint it was very unique, very much a hole in the wall. I ordered the brisket, mac and cheese and greens burrito. The place is small but luckily they have one table because that thing was not making it home, it looked and smelled amazing and was it good. I am definitely coming back to try more variations on the burritos and all the other food. I haven't made recommendations on yelp in a while, because I haven't been this impressed in quite a while. After covid so much stuff was expensive and mediocre not bruchaholics. Thanks for amazing food. The service was super friendly and very fast.

10/10 and I'm not lying!!! I'm a harsh critic when it comes to food and to be completely honest I do enjoy soul food but, it's not my favorite. HOWEVER, THIS PLACE hits different y'all!!! My husband and I have wanted to try this food for a while and finally got the opportunity. I got the cat fish plate and it was divine. It's perfectly seasoned and slightly crispy and came with a bed of seasoned fries. We also got the 2 soul food burritos - 1 catfish and the other was chicken. The filling is a creamy Mac n cheese with collard greens and then the meat - this blew my mind! I liked it better than the cat fish and I thoroughly enjoyed that! I can honestly say I was a pleasant surprised. Not to mention, both of the cashiers were very friendly and gave honest opinions about what their favorite dishes were. This is a small place and it's truly for pick up not a place to sit down, so keep that in mind. I definitely plan to come back and try everything on the menu! Shrimp and grits next :)

This was so unique! I got the soul food burrito with catfish and I really enjoyed it! Especially with hot sauce. Though I don't think any of the items in the burrito are strong enough to stand alone, they blend together in the burrito perfectly. I only take a star away because the greens are very soggy almost like the texture of spinach. But nonetheless I do recommend this place and have taken a few folks here when they're in town! The service is always quick and good. This is a grab and go restaurant so I can't speak on the ambiance. I usually love to grab it and eat in the car!

My best friend and I could not decide on what we wanted so we bought the Salmon BLT with sweet potato fries and the Soul Food Burrito and split both. The food was awesome!!! The salmon was tasty and I'm not a big salmon eater. I've acquired a taste for it for health reasons. I put some blue cheese on my fries because ketchup doesn't go with sweet potatoes, I've determined. Our food was neatly packaged and still hot when we received it through delivery. It was delivered within a timely manner, as well. I'm sure that we'll order again for dinner during our hangout fun!!

5/5 and I'd add more stars if they added yams! I'm not sure if this is the same brunchaholics that was located in the lower Greenville area, near Ross ave. But if so, I see why the place was always packed. I had gone in a couple times and always turned around when I saw how packed it w. Finally after seeing the soul food burrito one too many times online, my boyfriend and I decided to order to go after a hike at cedar ridge. We had just sweat out pants off, so this level of carbs were necessary'!!! We ordered the catfish burrito, the chicken burrito, and a three piece catfish tray as well!! All three were banging!!! Because I ordered the chicken burrito for myself, it was lovely to still have a bit of fish. The Mac and cheese was creamy, the greens were flavorful but not overtly seasoned and the chicken was perfectly coated. I would use more tender chicken pieces. And I would totally add sweet potatoes just to completely round out the thanksgivingy goodness that the burrito gives. All in all delicious but a bit pricy. And definitely not something to eat everyday but I will certainly be back!!!

Back and better than ever, all you have to do is order online and then pick it up at the window to enjoy wherever you'd like. There's no place to sit down and eat yet, but the staff is still friendly and accommodating if you have any wait for your food. There's a small waiting area inside. The food is still good, the menu is still expanding, and the buzz is still growing. Enjoy.

You may have seen Keith Lee review this place and rave about it, but be assured that this place lives up to the hype. Located in Desoto, TX in an indescript strip center, the food here is anything but indescript. I ordered the catfish, fries, the sweet potato cobbler. The catfish was super flavorful and fresh, with delicious homemade tarter sauce, but the cobbler, WOW, it was literally one of the BEST things I have EVER eaten. And ive eaten at a 3 star Michelin Restaurant. If you are in Desoto, do yourself a favor and stop by and try this out for yourself.

One of those places you just have to try! IYKYK! Food is always amazing, service is always fast and friendly, and you can taste the love that goes into every recipe! We've been eating at Brunchaholics since the very beginning and it's only gotten better and better! Can't really pinpoint a favorite dish because there are literally a few but I will say the Soul Food Burrito is a win...DUH! And the fish and grits are mouthwatering and always cooked/seasoned to perfection! I'm super picky about my grits too so that's saying a lot lol

My kids went down to Desoto from Fort Worth for an event and ran across this gem. I was skeptical at first but when I tasted that Soul Food Burrito it was on. It tasted great even though it traveled over 100 miles to me. Hats off to the cook. Great tasting menu item!! Will I make the trip to get another one?? Most likely!!

I went to this place after seeing the Keith Lee video. The food was good and it was busy because of the video. Nevertheless I got my food in a timely manner after calling it in. I would go back.

Good Service. Kind and attentive manner at front of house. Recommend calling your order in ahead as the store front does not really support dine in service. We had the soul food burrito, and fish n grits with sausage. We were thoroughly impressed. Flavor was great on everything and I definitely will be back again.

Where do I start?! Even before indulging in my meal, I was greeted by the warmest smile the moment I stepped into the restaurant. This cherished family establishment has now become a must-visit every time I touch down in Dallas. Now, let's delve into the culinary journey. On my first visit, I opted for the catfish fillet and it was fried to absolute perfection. It addition to the fillet looking beautiful, the crunch it offered BLEW MY MIND and surpassed all expectations. I returned very quickly because I couldn't resist another round of the tantalizing catfish fillet, this time in the form of a delectable fish sandwich. The transition from plate to sandwich was a stroke of genius. The beloved catfish, already a favorite, was nestled between two buttery, toasted brioche buns, complemented by the delightful addition of sweet pickles and a life-altering garlic aioli.The entirety of my experience, from the impeccable customer service to the culinary delights served during both visits, transcended anything I could have imagined.

Not enough food and food poisoning!!! We ordered their catering service for our wedding. They were supposed to supply plates and cutlery. First, they didn't bring enough plates and cutlery. They left to get more plates, which put us eating lunch back another hour (our guests were starving). While they were gone, they left the food out and by the time the food was served, much of it was cold. They showed up with food and plates for around 80 people, when we ordered for 180 people, so half of our guests did not get to eat. Then, about half of our guests that did get to eat, got food poisoning. On top of that, our coordinator was in contact with Jessie, the owner, in order to try to get more food for us (the amount we originally ordered), and he just stopped responding to her. One of our good friends ended up leaving our wedding to go get some Chick-fil-A platters, so he missed part of our wedding, and by the time he got back with more food, the damage was done and people had already left. He ended up missing half of our reception. My husband and I are big dancers and we wanted to have a big dance party after lunch (we had a brunch wedding). Instead, over half of our guests left early because they either didn't get any food at all, or because they got food poisoning. I'm very thankful that I didn't know any of this was going on until after (my husband and coordinator knew it would seriously negatively impact the day for me), but nonetheless, my wedding day was not what we hoped and planned for it to be because we used this company to cater it. In addition to that, we have been trying to contact the owner for weeks now, with little to no response. When he does respond, he has made excuses and has not refunded us one penny. We changed our original head count from 200 people to 180 people before the wedding, paid in advance, and tipped him 20% when we paid him and he has still not even refunded us for the change in headcount. He has talked about making it right for us, but has continued to drop the ball in every aspect of making it right. Every time we have tried to contact him since our original contact after the wedding (to tell him what all went wrong) he has ignored us. Whatever your event is, Use someone else.

So they have maybe 1 or 2 tables for people to wait while your food is being prepared and that's wasn't a huge deal breaker for me because I was on the go... but the soul food burrito was soooooo good. I have been wanting to try this for a couple of months now and was in the area so I decided to stop by.... And I'm so glad I did. I would recommend they also have a yams, greens and catfish burrito.

We got there early directly after church so we waited in the car for them to open. When they opened they took our order and they were very nice. The ambiance was cozy and the staff made the trip. We talked with the man that makes the desserts while waiting on the food and he was so nice. We took our order to go and when we got home, we noticed they didn't add in our dessert after talking to the guy all that time. We called and they said we can come pick it up or refund. We did the refund since it's not close to home. The food was amazing! I ordered the soul food burrito and he ordered the fish sandwich. Everything was SMACKIN!!! i recommend this place and ww are going back tomorrow. hopefully i get the dessert

In town for a couple days and my sister told me to try Brunchaholics in Desoto. Great choice and the food did not disappoint! Love the catfish and fries. Service was great and everyone was nice. Will definitely be back.

I love to try local black owned restaurants but I've learned to never go somewhere based off an influencers review because I rarely have the same experience. I want to start off by saying they have excellent customer service, very friendly and inviting. My biggest red flag is I didn't smell food. I didn't hear a fryer going or see a cook. People in the back were kind of standing around but I still ordered. 2 chicken and waffles and a catfish plate with greens and Mac an cheese on the side. The chicken was at minimum a day old, not fresh by a stretch. My son picked over it as it was very dry and he didn't like the waffle. The catfish was decent but that Mac and cheese made me want to fight. My son tasted it and said why is it spicy. They top it with like maybe oregeno I'm unsure but hated it. Greens were decent but not great..I probably wouldn't trying again based off the fact the food isn't prepared fresh.

Went to this establishment on a Sunday. We discovered it was a takeout restaurant only, which was fine. We ordered our food online with a short wait time. 1st dish I ordered the catfish and fries which was great. It came with tartar sauce, ketchup, and hot sauce. In all large portions and tasted just as good reheated. 2nd dish was the soul food burrito, & 3rd dish loaded mac. Neither meal disappointed and will be back.

The food is FANTASTIC! Ordering was easy on the app. I walked inside and was greeted by a beautiful smiling, happy face and voice (great customer service is a lost art and truly underrepresented these days), and that set the tone for a wonderful culinary experience. The food was ready within 5 mins of the estimated time they said on the app. It was fresh, hot, and beautifully presented. Catfish Basket Chicken 'n' Waffles Buffalo Chicken Mac was my order and everything was to perfection. That mac & cheese is a winner! I will be dreaming about this dish! The fish was fishing! The breading was seasoned, crispy and the fish was cooked perfectly. By the way, this is not a paid review. I was on that side of town for my sons basketball tournament and decided to stop in. I've been meaning to since Keith Lee reviewed them. I live in Plano but I would drive all the way to Desoto for that food, again. I want to say again that the customer service is what impressed me most. I really appreciate a good customer experience. This food is good y'all.

My husband had the Burrito that was literally an Entree and 2 sides, packed into a tortilla! I had the Shrimp N Grits which was well seasoned and topped with beautifully Blackened large Shrimp! Will differently be back!

I don't know what everyone else is tasting buy my experience was less than enjoyable. I ordered the solid food burrito and peach cobbler. The hot sauce made the food tolerable. Someone reviewed the "southern burrito reminded me of eating in New Orleans" and that is unbelievable. I'm not sure if it was an off day but it was not good. The peach cobbler had a strange taste like old grease. I am surprised at my experience because of some of the good reviews. I paid $24.90 for both and don't think it was worth it at all.

Okay, maybe they had a little too many orders, because my soul food burrito with chicken was not very tasty. The catfish basket was pretty good!!! The music was too loud, I couldn't hear the person asking for my name!!

Was drawn to the creole menu and it did not disappoint. The chicken and waffles were tender! Very, very good chicken. I had the fish and grits. It was also very good. I look forward to going back and trying different items. It's BYOB, so bring champagne to add to your OJ. Also, ambiance is pretty basic. Plastic ware, order and pay on your phone. That kind of vibe.

Okay here is another example of the Keith Lee effect gone wrong. Some times restaurants are just NOT ready. I truly believe this restaurant has good food however we did not receive any today. The picture below was the chicken and waffles my husband received. Aside from that we ordered 2 catfish baskets, Mac and cheese, greens and the soul food burrito. The catfish was soggy, which was disappointing but not surprising considering how long we waited for it. The Mac and cheese was dry, the greens were decent and the soul food burrito was just all of the aforementioned things thrown into one burrito so we also didn't enjoy that. However the people were very nice and apologetic. I will note that we went on a Sunday and Keith Lee went on a Wednesday when they were not busy. When we went the place was PACKED. I think the challenge for this restaurant will be maintaining the quality of food even when they're very busy, bc the difference is drastic. The workers were VERY nice and apologetic. I will give them another try but I'll never be back on a Sunday and at this moment couldn't recommend to anyone else.

Quite honestly I'm on the fence about this spot. I ordered chicken and waffles and a side of greens. To me, the chicken lacked flavor and the waffle and syrup saved the entire dish. The greens were spicy ..... and cold. The one thing that I didn't appreciate was being asked to leave after an hour as they needed the table for another reservation. The staff was nice and not rude about it at all; however, when I placed the reservation I do not recall seeing it was timed. If so, I would not have gone. Lastly, it's BYOB and apparently that means turn up as you wish. It got a bit loud once the bottles started popping and the shots were being done.

The food tasted as if it was prepared the day before. The chicken was dry which surprised me because it's a chicken thigh. The fish was definitely prepared prior to my arrival. Service was decent, nothing out of the ordinary. Unfortunately, we were not able to consume the chicken burrito due to the chicken being burnt. I will not be back and I do not recommend anyone to go here.

Not sure what changed but i ordered 2 soul food burritos, 1 chicken, the other fish...my tortilla was gummy and uncooked! It wasn't even the color they had been advertising let alone the size, the chicken was burnt, Mac was bland, the fish one was better but still no flavor, it's just sad all these foodies that come visit and give rave reviews they get crispy, fresh food but us that are here to support get the bottom of the barrel, not one sweet potatoes was on this thing....i drove from Lewisville and was disappointed idk maybe it was a bad day

So, I was excited to really support a new business but I probably will not be back. The photos and reviews really got me but I was overall underwhelmed. Make sure to get a reservation, but we were on the wait list and it worked out well bc my guest arrived later so that was no issue. They have outdoor and indoor seating. One seated the hostess was kind and showed us how to order food online. I'm excited I ordered two things bc whew I would've been sad. I ordered the burrito with catfish, Mac, and greens. There was no seasoning and the hot sauce was kicking either. I was very bland and I quite underwhelmed. The only reason they get e stars is for the Buffalo Mac and cheese. Although it was a little salty it had more flavor and was a nice combination. The macaroni could've been more juicy if ya get what I mean but it had good flavor. I tried my guest shrimp and grits. So one plate the grits were a good texture with no flavor and the other bowl had good flavor but was extra gritty. Idk I wanted them to win so bad but ya have to master the grits. The vibe was kind of interesting. People were outside smoking weed and truly enjoying themselves a little too much for my comfort. This is a restaurant, but they were giving day club vibes outside. It's byo- drinks but I hope they get their license soon. I enjoyed part of my meal but I would encourage them to flavor(not salt) it a little bit more. Unfortunately I'm not going back, not worth it to me but I hope they were just having a bad day.

Keith Lee went here and gave a great review so here we go. We waited 2 hrs and 10 minutes (Don't ask why) but we support black businesses around here!!! customer service was great. The fish was good but wet. That soul food burrito. nope Chicken good but over cooked for some and under cook for others. I think overall it's probably really good but not under pressure. They were swamped and the food showed. I can't say I won't go back because they owe me some crunchy fish like Keith Lee had and some Mac with cheese not just Mac.

Got the SOUL FOOD BURRITO which wasn't my first time getting it, I am a creature of habit, and it was just as AMAZING as it was the first time!!! My friend got the fish and grits, added sausage at NO EXTRA CHARGE! (they get an A+ just for that) I didn't taste it but it smelled GREAT. I wish I would have taken a picture because mine looked MUCH better than the one they have posted on their own website! However I took one bite and in seconds the damn thing was GONE! I am so glad I don't have to wait to see where they are going to be any longer. I can now run to DeSoto any day they are open and get what I want....... I will be back soon! NOT TO MENTION THE PEOPLE ARE VERY KIND AND FRIENDLY!! Not rude and rushing you like these people today!!! THANK YOU BH!!!! You WILL see me again!!!!

I really wanted to love Brunchaholics when I tried them a few weeks ago. The staff were great when we picked up our order, but my meal fell short. I tried the chicken and waffles. I'm always worried about getting white meat because so many places overcook it. This came with 3 nice sized chicken strips but they were extremely dry and overcooked. The flavor was good but didn't blow my mind and the waffle was just okay. Hate to say it, but it was not worth the $18 price tag. I also got the sopapilla cheesecake for dessert and it was even more disappointing. Barely any filling. Just $7 for a big chunk of bread. You can see it in the pictures I took. It's made by another company and sold at Brunchaholics. My hubs got the fish and grits which he said was good. I think I may give them another try just because they have so many great reviews. I'd just try something different and cross my fingers that it's a better experience.

This is rare for me! 2 stars is me being nice to be honest, the only thing that is giving it that is that the food wasn't bad. The service was just bad. We sat on the patio, their ordering is online so somehow they didn't get our order even though we paid when we ordered, and the waiter never came to check on us while were sitting there with no food for 45 minutes. We asked for a refund even before they started making the food and they didn't want to oblige so we waited some more and just took it to go. I just don't understand how that is going to be your format and you haven't perfected it yet instead of still having someone take your order. For the amount we paid for the food I expected way more than that. Gotta go now, bye bye then!

Stumbled upon this place today and what can I say but amazing! The food is perfectly cooked. I got chicken and waffles and didn't leave a crumb on the plate. My wife got the shrimp in grits with sausage, reminded her of NOLA. She was in heaven!! Just delicious. The staff is exceptional, taking their time to make sure you have the best experience. This is a must! If you don't live close, make the drive, you'll be happy you did!!

This review is about 7 months overdue, so the details are not as fresh. It took me a while to post because I wasn't really sure how I felt about the entire experience to be honest. That said, I'll start with something I was very happy with, the food. The food was phenomenal, packed with flavor, and clearly freshly made. I ordered the shrimp and grits. The sauce was perfectly balanced, the grits were creamy and the perfect texture (you can't eat everybody's grits), and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. I was thoroughly pleased with the food, and while I wouldn't make the trip from Waco just to visit, if/when I'm in Dallas again, I definitely wouldn't mind revisiting. Everyone in my group loved the meal! As far as the overall experience, I don't have anything to complain about at all, but I don't have anything to praise either. My group sat inside, and there wasn't much going on as far as decor. It was simple and intimate; just a few tables, very clean and tidy, everything seemed to flow well. I didn't like that there's a time limit on the table given that we had to wait past our reservation time, but it really wasn't an issue at all as far as having enough time to eat. The food did take a bit, but it came out piping hot, so the give and take was to be expected. As far as customer service, it was non existent, but not in a bad way, we ordered from our phones so we never really saw/engaged with anyone from seating until the food was delivered, which didn't bother me at all...but if you're a needy diner it might not work for you. Overall the experience was ok, but the food was great. If you need a lot of face time with the employees, you probably won't enjoy the process of ordering, eating, paying, and leaving with minimal interaction. But if you're looking for great food you'll find it here!

Did a online order pickup for a time slot...still had to wait a extra 10+mins...no big deal to me. I ordered the "Shrimp and Grits" The wife, ordered "Chicken and Waffle". I must say the Shrimp and Grits was the best I've tasted thus far. The Chicken and Waffle was good, especially that chicken.

Me and my Husband order to go from here last week. I ordered the fried catfish and greens. My fish was cooked to fast because it was burnt and the greens were ok. Not sure if I will be ordering from here in the future.

The food was absolutely amazing!!! The staff was very friendly but there was a mishap with our order...which is why I gave 4 stars. That a not enough parking but that's to be expected downtown. Well worth the price! I'll definitely visit again.

Simple Breakfast is simply the BEST! We almost made the mistake of going to Waffle House, then we found this absolute gem! The biscuits are uncontested, the fried chicken is cooked to perfection, tater tots are out of this world and the sausage gravy is a perfect compliment to the biscuits. The people are so friendly, the music is good. This place has the best brunch vibes around.

After 2 hours, we were able to get our food. My significant other found this place on Yelp, we drove 40 minutes away to try brunchaholics. When we got there, there were allot of cars in the parking lot that wrapped around the building. We thought the line of cars was for parking. After waiting behind cars for 25 mins there was an opening were we could go around the line of cars. Once we broke that line of cars we could see on the other side of the building there were a tun a parking spaces. Not until then did we know that the line we'd been in the entire time was for a drive through. There were 0 signs that said there was a drive through. Nor was this listed anywhere on there Yelp page so yea, we had no idea, because we'd come to dine in. We go inside and they said it'd be a 45 minute wait. This was after being literally stuck in the parking lot for 25 minutes. We decided to just order takeout. That took another 45 mins. We ordered the cat fish soul food burritos. The burritos were super basic and extremely bland. The Mac n cheese in the burrito was over cooked, had a thick slimy texture and was flavorless. The only thing that gave the burrit flavor was the hot sauce they gave us, however they only gave us one tiny condiment container of hot sauce so there wasn't really enough hot sauce to share. I also ordered the sweet potato cobbler. I truly expected somethin so unique to be delicious. I took 1 bite and was shocked by how gross and tasteless this was. I took another bite to be sure it was really that bad. I could not eat anymore. Sweet potatoes are my favorite food, since birth, so it has to be quite nasty for me not to eat it. I don't understand how they have such great reviews but this was not AT ALL my experience and I will not go back. Smh!

After a hectic week I was in need of some comfort food and good company and this restaurant delivered all the above! The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. I ordered the truffle fries, fried catfish, a side of mac and cheese to eat while I dined in and a soul food burrito togo. The catfish was fried to perfection and the homemade mac and cheese was everything! I'm sure my soul food burrito will not disappoint me as well... needless to say I'll definitely be back.

Went here on a Sunday with a birthday party. Kinda confusing at first but everything got settled and everyone was seated. The table I was at we didn't get how to order so we sat there for a while thinking somebody going to come to the table and take out order. The ordering concept is great because everybody is responsible for what the get and no figuring out tickets at the end! My food was great. I probably would come back. FYI: it's BYOB!
