Waitress Lavonne is super duper. Love their happy hr offerings and the avocado burger with side salad. The speakeasy is a cool venue for groups and private parties. We love the Tues Thur Sat line dancing, too.

Came here for football Sunday, great friendly staff, all the TVs you could want and the bar food is delish! The owner (and his pup) are very present which adds too the atmosphere. If you want laid back, good vibes and great eats come to Bruno’s!

Great little burger spot just off Main Street. Burgers are a little greasy and sloppy but very good, I had to use fork and knife to finish. Drinks are very good, a little pricey but expected being near beach and off main street.

Bruno’s Bar & Grille was the perfect spot for a birthday brunch and game day! The grilled Mahi Mahi fish tacos were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and paired perfectly with crispy crinkle fries and a smooth house wheat ale. The lively atmosphere made it even more fun to catch the Rams game, and we noticed it’s also a popular spot for University of Georgia fans. Owner Darrell added a personal touch by stopping by to say hello, making us feel right at home. With great food, friendly service, and TVs everywhere, Bruno’s is a go-to for good eats and game-day vibes. Can’t wait to return!

This place is fun and has great food. I’d say 9/10 or 10/10. Has tvs with sports all over. I had mahi-mahi tacos and Bruno burger is amazing. Pictures of burger don’t give it justice sorry.

I rarely think of a bar and have such fond feelings! My husband and I ate at Brunos when it first opened (solid food) and met the owner as well as the legend himself-BRUNO! That was cool but what is amazing about this place is that they are open to feedback and they intend to stick around by putting in the w-o-r-k. They have such fun events planned like line dancing, karoake and Wednesday wine nights for the wives! It really is all good vibes and never feels intimidating.

Stopped in to watch the NBA finals and grab a bit to eat. Great happy hour pricing and selection. Had cheese curds, chips n guacamole, pretzel. 1 large pretzel w/cheese and mustard dips and 15 ish small but delicious curds. Had wing special b1g1 50%, grilled veggie flatbread$10 (HH), carne asada tacos, bbq chicken flat bread $10 (HH), fish and chips. 2 Mango cart 10.75 22oz and a wheat beer. $159 + 4.44 ( credit charge). Decent food-definitely happy hour pricing Flatbread would've been $18, wings never saw the break down of full price, then half price just $21.95. All tv's has some sports on it, service was good, seating around bar, booths and high tops.

Great fish and chips. Nice fresh big chunks of fish. Be sure to ask for 1 tartar sauce, 1 ranch, 3 ketchup, salt and a fork. The coleslaw is rather dry and benefits from a touch of ranch or even mayo for that matter, as well as a dash of salt. You need the fork to eat it. I equally like the Brewery X ShhhWheat beer and the Mango Cart beer.

Bruno's was a fun atmosphere to visit during a UFC fight night two weekends ago, Jones vs. Miocic! There were so many TV's and one big projector. They have plenty of seating for large parties and groups. We snagged a couple of big tables to seat 8 of us. Not only can you go for the fights, but this is also a perfect spot for other sports games. The food here was excellent. The Bruno burger was juicy and flavorful and did the job. I didn't notice until I was eating it that it had American and Cheddar cheese on it, which was a unique choice. It was paired with decent fries, but they need to add more to the meal. I'm super annoyed that no one told us there was a cover charge for the fights! It was $10 per person, and it was not announced at the door or on a speaker like the waitress said. We found out when we were paying! I understand places do this, but they should have done it at the door like every other business.

Bruno's used to be Surf City, which we loved, so we were excited to check out the new spot. We went on a Thursday night to watch football, enjoy some drinks, and dive into the food. The calamari was just like Surf City's -- my fav thing to order -- crispy, with the leg parts included (my fav part!). The calamari was lightly battered and cooked perfectly and dipping sauce was great. We also tried the fish and chips, another dish I used to order at Surf City. It was delicious and perfectly battered. I do wish the fries were thicker, like potato wedges; the crinkle-cut fries were just okay. For a little extra, we ordered the nachos with poblano cheese, which were fantastic! Our waiter, Henry, recommended them, and he was wonderful throughout our visit. He was super attentive--my water never ran out, table was always clear, and Martin always had a beer in hand. Lots of seating for big groups and they have a modern jukebox that you can play music from your phone if you download the app which is pretty cool. Overall, we had a great experience at Bruno's and I can't wait to return to this awesome corner restaurant in downtown Huntington Beach!

Great spot to hangout on a Sunday. Especially to watch your game! Bartender Henry makes a fantastic espresso martini. 11/10 would recommend.

What a great place service off the hook shout out to Kyrie Craig and all the all the people have so much fun there so much stuff always going on karaoke line dancing best food they're open till 10:00 or 11:00 in the kitchen it's awesome get away from the norm and come have fun over at Bruno's.. And special shout out to the owner Daryl super cool guy anyways yes there is life after the first two blocks of main Street

ALYSSA is my girl! Awesome hospitality and super fun! If you come to Bruno's ask for her and she'll bring the vibe! Bar staff of great too! Side note: if you're going to be a Georgia Football bar then be a Georgia bar....don't all of a sudden cut in UFC sound when the game is on. Very frustrating.

My boyfriend and I have been to this establishment before it was Brunos. We really like how the owner named this bar after his dog and it is dog friendly. We sat at the bar with our 3 dogs and love how Bruno's has a dog menu! The bartender, Brandt was such a pleasure and a great conversationalist. He had great customer service and we shared many laughs and joked around. The music was also nice and we loved how it was such a chill establishment. The cheeseburger was absolutely delicious and the sweet potato fries were impeccable. I would highly recommend both items. We also got to meet the owner and he came over to pet our dogs. Everyone was so chill and nice we would come back. Usually when we visit Huntington Beach we go to Sandy's but Bruno's is where it's at! Will definitely come back on a next day trip to the beach with our dogs.

Everything is great about this place! It's Bruno, the mascot, that draws your attention first but it's the service and the food that you'll love. They have a good variety of food and drinks so you can feed the group, including the vegan (me) The place has an open layout and you can sit inside or out. The music is super chill and it's an overall perfect ambiance.

Alyssa gave excellent service! I made a special and complicated order and she took care of it no problem.

If you're ever at Bruno's make sure Alyssa is your severer. Her smile, attitude and service was 10/10. Definitely will be back and she's a big part of that. Make sure you get the wings and cheese curds.

We've been coming to Bruno's more often lately and especially for football Sunday! Great vibe and perfect to bring a big group and sit in bar area! Good beer selection and outdoor seating too. Will for sure be back next Sunday

No people in this bar on a Saturday when streets are super busy. Saw the bartender serve alcohol to an underage girl and I'm sure it's because she was cute. He did ask for her id but she said she forgot it in her car. Well, who goes into a bar to order alcohol & forgets her id? Probably someone who is underage. She wasn't even at a table. She walked straight up to the bar where we were sitting & she got served!!

Bruno is sooo adorable! Got to meet the handsome guy. Food was really good, the service was fine. Then place is big and has lot of room for tables and chairs. The vibe is chill and people are friendly

LOVED it! Has a dive bar feel and crowd was very eclectic - to say the least, so at first we were a bit unsure if we should stay as we had our daughter with us, but we are so glad we did! Place was clean. Food was seriously amazing - we all had burgers and sweet potato fries. The burgers were FANTASTIC - our daughter had the Bruno Burger and it was DELICIOUS - our waiter described it as "an elevated Big Mac." I had the avocado burger on a lettuce wrap - it was cooked perfectly! Fries were amazing - cinnamon sugar on them and crinkle cut! Owner spoke to us a couple times and he was very welcoming! We even saw Bruno! Our pup enjoyed being able to be in the bar with us! Food was a bit of a wait, but we didn't mind as it was great people watching ha! Our waiter was kind and attentive. We easily found street parking. Give this place a try - you will have a good time and leave happy for sure!

A group of us went to Bruno's in the afternoon on a Saturday and were seated/helped right away! I ordered a House Blonde for beer and thought it was very good! Our group of 6 ordered all kinds of food too. We had wings/cheese curds/ calamari for apps, and I got the fish tacos as an entree- everything I tried was delicious. Bruno's is also in a great location! Just a couple of blocks from the beach. Overall great experience. Would definitely come back!

Had our names on a waitlist at a nearby restaurant, walked across the street to Bruno's and sat right down, with our own personal tv in the booth to watch the game, perfect! Our waitress was great, don't recall her name. Drinks and food were excellent. The tri tip sammich was so good and my SO enjoyed his burger. My only complaint would be the menu is super hard to read, the tiny white print on black background was impossible for me to read...the folks next to us encountered the same issue. The owner checked in on us with Bruno, and that's always a plus in my book. Will definitely be back.

As much as I really want to like the place I've been here twice and the service is terrible. I would recommend cruisers down the block instead.

Good vibes, there was karaoke which i love. Bartender was nice. I got the tri tip sandwich and it looked small but honestly it came with a lot of meat and was really filling. I literally only ate half. also delicious! Definitely will be coming back.

I Love watching Sunday football here!!!!! tvs everywhere and even mini TVs at the booths, SO awesome. Our server is usually Kira, who is the sweetest and takes great care of us every time. Breakfast is so so I get the 2 eggs and bacon with potatoes. My man gets the breakfast burrito Doesn't look to appealing to me so I refrain from trying it and stick to the basics Next time I need to try their apps menu GREAT prices on drinks and beers Definitely our Go too for Sunday football brunch Owner is always on the floor and helping everywhere Super cool to see

Since my last review , we have been back to Bruno's twice. This time we tried the queso dip and it was great. The TV situation was on point , showing the UFC and the Laker game. It was a nice surprise when we saw a country band setting up so we stuck around to check them out. The band was really good and we ended up staying for the entire evening. Great place, enjoy. Cheers

Came in with some friends for a quick round of beers. Service was great but the price on the menus makes no sense. If you order a pint of their house lager it's $5 but if you order a pitcher with 4 pints in it for some reason it comes to $28. 4 pints by themselves would be $20 so why is a pitcher of 4 pints &28. Considering when you usually order a pitcher, you get a slight discount. Talked to the owner about it and he said I was smart for noticing and that most people do not notice how egregious this price difference is. On top of that, they have the nerve to charge a 3% credit card usage fee in 2025. It's not 2002 anymore, we're not taking carbon copies of cards or using dialup anymore. Anyway the total for 4 $5 pints ended up costing $32. Probably won't come back because this is not the first problem I have had with this place.

Don't bother with this place,unless you want delays on food(Tri Tip)and problems with your Billing.Spent over $100 on food and drinks and was billed separately for some ones additional $160 + bill.It tied up my available moneys while it pended for 5 business days The arrogant owner/GM would do nothing to rectify my being taken advantage of,not even a consolatory Happy Hour discount.What a shame when these Establishments act like it's not about customer its about their own inflated ego s.He made me feel like "Don't go away Mad, Just go away"!

Bruno's is an amazing spot in HUNTINGTON!!! I had the red house beer which was awesome and my wife had an aperol spritz and a house Pinot, which is high quality. BUT don't forget the Traeger smoked TRITIP...fantastic!!! The owner Darrell had put a lot of love into this place! We will be back soon!!!

Worst karaoke experience ... started waaaaay later than advertised, no queue in line/people and songs selected at random, songs in the queue were never played, condescending & laxidaisy attitude Update: I didn't want to name any names but since you wish to deflect by blaming a machine ... the karaoke host is named Tony and you personally introduced me to him

We decided to check this place out newer sports bar on Main St. and to our surprise a really great spot to watch some Sunday Football and Dodger game. Plenty of tables and so many TV's with one game on sound throughout the place. The drinks are decent price and the food is good too. We had Wings and the pretzel both were very good BUT the Tri Tip sandwich is something you MUST try here it's amazing. The owner is super cool and stop by our table serval times to check on us. We will definitely be back for more sports, beers and food.

Had the tri tip sandwich and it was awesome. Would definitely come back and order that again. Ate there with my dog and they were very friendly and gave him some water without asking.

Ok, so we LOVE HB, and visit each year but really struggle to find good food, but always open to try new spots. Today our family tried Burno's and while the Bruno burger was ok, our Buffalo wings had a strange unrecognizable flavor and as dry as they could possibly be. The Wedge salad was warm and the sad lettus had just given up, the accompanying ranch had a confusing sour note. And our beverages were awful maybe a complete tare down and full sanitation on the ice maker and beverage dispenser may do the trick. If today's meal was any indication of the food that is routinely served, it's hard to imagine how it stays in business.

My wife and I were cruising up and down Main St trying to pick a cool spot to hangout. So many options it's crazy. As we're walking by Bruno's sports and bar and we ran into the owner Darrell out front on the street and he was with Bruno his super cute badass Frenchie. Derrell is super genuine and approachable. So we went in...and met Ramon the bartender. They're lucky to have him. Great people, great hospitality, great drinks and food! (Posting for my friend and his wife who don't have yelp)

Bruno's has a fun atmosphere, but, the only thing disappoing is the appetizers, I ordered the nachos, and it could have been better if they gave me more chips. The steak and cheese was on point though.

I just want to complement not only the food, but the service at Bruno's. I've seen this particular location be a few things through the years, but unfortunately, they never succeeded. I decided to give it a shot on a Sunday, and was very impressed! The bartender, Henry, was so kind and accommodating. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, and got the buffalo sauce on the side. I was really craving, honey mustard, so Henry actually made some for me! I've never had that happen before. It wasn't a standard offering on their menu, but he went above and beyond! Not only that, but the chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious! It was a good size, fried to perfection and their brioche bread had the perfect softness. It was so good that I'm craving it again... But I have to wait until 4 PM when they open. Truly encourage everyone to give it a try. Again, I only had the chicken sandwich, but if that was any indication, their burgers and other stuff are probably good.

Would definitely keep walking right past Perqs on Main Street and go directly to this place the service and the staff are great. They stay open to the proper time and still play music right up to close. Unlike the previously mentioned place in this review. Our new favorite hangout where you defiantly feel welcome by the staff!!

Everything was awesome here! The place looks amazing. The service was great with such a friendly vibe. Location is the perfect spot to hangout. Full menu with excellent food and the choices are super hard to choose from.

Stopped by on a late Sunday morning. Super chill positive atmosphere and Bruno was there to say hello :-) Sat at the bar and greeted by the always friendly and professional Henri. Had 2 yummy IPAs and shared the fish & chips (which they spilt for us without us asking - kudos to that!). Our favorite go-to place in HB!

We have lived in Huntington Beach for 15 years and just got around to trying this place. Bruno, the owner, is a French bulldog. That gives you some idea of how quirky this bar is. My wife loved their ribs and I loved their drought Bruno blonde beer. The lobster bisque was very good! In good weather you can sit outside and take in the vibes. Don't come here for a quiet romantic meal. Just come for a good time.

Juat stopped in today after reading a few of the reviews and couldn't agree more with the previous reviewers! Absolutely loved the place! We found out about the place since it will be the viewing home for our Georgia Bulldog Alumni Watching Parity on Saturdays this fall, but we will be there much more often than that. We had the French Dip and Chips with salsa and Poblano Queso. The French Dip was excellent and the Queso is OUTSTANDING! The owner, Darrell, had just put on the TriTip on the grill and the smell has me wanting to go back again today! Great atmosphere. Our server, Talisa, was fantastic. Can't wait for football season to arrive, but this will be a frequent spot for my wife and I. Keep up the great job Darrell! Go Dawgs!!!!!!

One of my best friends and her husband had their rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at Bruno's this past weekend. I can honestly say that the 140+ guests had an amazing time and experience. The staff was amazing and attentive. The owner Darrel was there the entire time to make sure everything was perfect for my friends. Being a new owner, he had basically inherited this scheduled wedding and he went above and beyond to make this a memory we will all never forget! He mingled with many, making sure we all were having a good time. I remember a glass broke on the dance floor. Darrell quickly turned on the lights, and got it cleaned up right away making sure no one got hurt. Food-AMAZING! I'll be honest....I had very low expectations of what the food would taste like. I had the Filet Mignon and mashed potatoes...it was delicious! I had gone to Flemings a month ago and honestly I think Bruno's was better! I had the Cobb salad during rehearsal and didn't leave anything in the bowl. My daughter and another bridesmaid had the Chicken Piccata and they both said it was also very delicious. One bridesmaid had a hamburger and another had the fish tacos that also raved about their meals. Definitely exceeded my expectations! Drinks-I actually do not like ordering drinks outside my home because I feel they are weak and you pay too much money for them. Bruno's is very reasonable and you actually feel you get a great, tasty cocktail...definitely worth the price! Bruno's is downtown; walking distance to the beach. Easy to stop by and grab some food and drinks after a day at the beach or beforehand. It is very clean which is important to me! I will most definitely be back many more times! Thank you Darrell and staff! Oh I forgot to mention we all got to meet the dog Bruno! He is so cute!!!

Bruno's in Huntington Beach is an amazing Bar & Grille. The staff is friendly and very good. We went for a getaway and had great time there. The food is amazing. Excellent atmosphere. Bruno is adorable. I recommend Bruno's to anyone in Huntington Beach.
