"I learned that Bruno’s Brewery (24 Ericsson Street, Dorchester) applied for a Farmer Brewery Pouring License, which the City of Boston granted on April 11, and Ralph Bruno said he and his brother met with neighborhood representatives on April 17 and were given the blessing to proceed. They expect to open sometime this autumn and will initially offer seven or eight beers available only onsite — including a New England IPA, a porter, a stout, and a Kolsch — with possible future distribution. The brewery was inspired by 'a big demand for beer,' will start with Ralph brewing himself (with the possibility of hiring a full-time brewer if the operation grows), and will be able to utilize the winery’s event space." - Terrence Doyle
