Bruno's Ristorante & Catering

This was our first time dining at Bruno's. A waitress at another restaurant told us about it, and we were so glad we went! The waiter, Giovanni, was an absolute sweetheart. Now, whenever we come to Cleveland, we will definitely make a stop at Bruno's. My husband got the eggplant lasagna (he said it was the best lasagna he's ever had), I had the veal with prosciutto, he got the salad and I got the wedding soup (to die for 🤤). We even got a pizza to go! On top of all the good food, a lovely couple paid for our meal! We did not find out until it was time to pay our bill. To the couple, we had small talk with, a huge thank you to you! We appreciate the wonderful gesture; it meant so much to my husband and me. You will leave with a full stomach and food for later on. I wished they catered to where we live!😂😂

I made reservations and as soon as we came in, we were greeted and sat promptly. We were seated in the patio which is under a roof outside with nice lighted decor and a calming fountain. The staff constantly came out to check on us to see if we needed anything. The food was incredible. It came out hot and it was delicious! Even with a full house everything was incredible from the service to the food. I love this place and will be back soon!

We came from out of town and were really flying blind when picking a spot for dinner. My teenage boys said they wanted to eat Italian food, so after a search we found Bruno's. We had no idea that we should have made a reservation but the hostess was so accommodating and kind. She put us at the last available table on the patio. Our server was super attentive and brought out an amazing bread basket very quickly. We decided on the antipasto as an appetizer and it did not disappoint. Everything was super fresh and delicious. We ordered and had a nice time actually talking to the kids while we waited for our food. Initially when we were watching food come out for other diners, I thought that they were ordering family style...I was wrong! 2 of us had Italian Wedding soup and 2 of us had salads with house balsamic vinaigrette starters with our dinners. Both were wonderful, fresh and well seasoned. When our meals came, we were super impressed with the portion sizes...it's always hard to find restaurants with portion sizes that will happily feed teenage boys! The food was phenomenal. The pasta was cooked perfectly. The sauces were absolutely amazing. We ordered a Margherita pizza, manicotti, meat ravioli and linguine Alfredo with shrimp. As picky as everybody can be, we all agreed that Bruno's food is even better than our go to spot near home. The service was amazing from the minute we walked in the door to the minute we walked out. Food was fantastic...we are thrilled that there are leftovers, so we can enjoy the food one more time! Prices were unbeatable, considering the quality and quantity of food received. Bruno's is definitely on our list when we return to the area!!!

Don’t sleep on this place! These are the lunch portions at Bruno’s. A neighborhood staple since 1986. All breads and pastas are house made. The cheese pull on this pasta dish was insane! 🍝 🍷

Bruno's checks all the boxes for an Italian-American restaurant. It's got the ginormous portions, homey décor, delicious free Italian bread, tasty red sauce, and excellent desserts. The space is a little plain, but still inviting. Our food took a while to be served, but once it came we were impressed. I ordered the veal parmesan which was over-the-top in both flavor and portion size. We finished with their limoncello cake, which really ended the meal on a high note. I found it to be even better than the dinner and I think it is a must. We cannot wait to come back!

Bruno’s in Cleveland is an absolute treasure for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine. The lasagna is nothing short of a masterpiece. The chicken parmigiana is a revelation. If shrimp is your passion, the Gamberi con aglio e peproni will steal your heart. And let’s talk about the Linguine a la Pescatore—a seafood lover’s dream! A special mention must go to our waitress, Martha, who made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Her attentive service, friendly demeanor, and excellent recommendations truly enhanced our visit. Bruno’s isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Every dish is crafted with love, every flavor sings, and every visit leaves you counting down the days until you can return. If you haven’t been yet, you’re truly missing out!

Absolutely delicious food! The bread and garlic butter, Italian Wedding soup was absolutely devine! The award winning Lasagna was just that, excellent! The Tiramisu was the perfect 👌 touch to finish off the night. I cant wait to go back.

What an incredibly amazing Cleveland hidden gem! 💎 This place was recommended several times and I finally had the chance to go yesterday—OUTSTANDING!! The bar has several seats and they also have a cute little dining room. (reservations recommended) The artichoke appetizer was phenomenal 🤤🤤 and the salad with balsamic vinaigrette was exactly the right portion. Ended up boxing up my linguine and Alfredo to go so I could enjoy some of their fine desserts. The limoncello cake was absolutely perfect. 🤩 I definitely want to come back to try the eggplant lasagna. The Syrah 🍷 was great and also enjoyed some great conversation with the cutest couple, Marco and Sean, who are regulars to the restaurant. If you haven’t checked it out, this is your sign to go to so!!

Bruno's was amazing. From the hostess to the wait staff everyone was so nice. The food was delicious and portions huge! Definitely leaving with leftovers. I had the linguine alla pescatore and it was filled with so much seafood it was difficult to get to the pasta. Would highly recommend.

I was surprised to learn how many people check these websites to make a decision as to try a restaurant or not... Bruno's has been preparing delicious homemade Italian food for over 19years! Added a patio within the last 10years, bar area, carefully chosen wine menu, & caters all over the state and honesty one of the greatest men I know. A true Italian with family values & an old school way of thinking. Portions are large so no one goes home hungry! Every now and then mishaps happen. Can't make everyone happy, but letting that detour you from not giving it a try would be a shame. Enter his door...smell the fresh garlic & sauce & give the servers the opportunity to wow you!

We had a retirement luncheon catered by Bruno's Ristorante & Catering at our office this week. They came in with all the utensils, china, glasses, linens and set up the entire serving area. They catered for 30 people and everything went just as planned. They came in the day before to see where they were going to set everything up. They waited on everyone from beginning to end. And that is not even the high point - let's talk about the food. It was AWESOME! People are still raving about the food! We had appetizers, salad, several entrees and the amazing Mama's tiramisu. We even had a prime rib carving station set up. They cleaned up, packed up the additional food so we could continue to feast on leftovers the rest of the week. Highly, highly recommend them for any catering event! Thank you to Bruno and his crew for making this a memorable "party".

Ate here late December 2017. We ordered eggplant parmesan. It was burnt and tough. In retrospect, we should have sent it back. The atmosphere was also lacking. We were crowded and it was too bright. The service was lacking.

I've used Bruno"s catering for the past few years to cater my Christmas Eve open house. Their eggplant lasagna is superb, even my meat loving family was impressed. The terra mizzou dessert is refined. The restaurant is great but the catering is even better. Treat yourself and your family- let Bruno do the cooking!
