"Hailing from Pennsylvania, this national chain has been making good inroads in Los Angeles, starting with a longtime Torrance window and now this prime LA spot along La Brea. With dense, American-style ice cream and hefty flavors, this brand makes its cream locally, which adds freshness and overall quality." - Eater Staff

Originally from Pennsylvania, Bruster’s is a southerners favorite post work spot to catch a sunset and have some amazing ice cream. There are very few locations in LA, so it was an amazing treat to be able to have a home time favorite. The service at this location was amazing. The staff was super friendly and more than willing to allow you to try every flavor on the menu. My two favorite flavors of the day were the southern banana pudding and the banana nut bread. They both were so good, I ended up grabbing an entire pint of them mixed. One of my favorite ice spots and with it being local and easy to get too (plenty of free parking), I will definitely be making a return visit.

This place will fit all your ice cream needs. Prices may seem steep but the sundaes are huge! They are not stingy with their ice cream. The doggie sundae was a great treat.

The treats were very tasty and satisfying, but the prices are rather exorbitant!

The staff is quick and friendly and the ice cream is in my top five for LA. New flavors monthly but my personal fave is butter pecan or birthday cake. Cotton candy explosion is pretty good as well.

A new Ice Cream store for special events. (I want fresh Ice Cream is a special event for me that can happen at any time) I first experienced Bruster's in Atlanta almost 10 years ago, but they are in LA now. All the ice cream is freshly made in each store. Flavors change almost every day. Their peach (in season) is the best. Of course you can try any flavor (or several, as I often do) before you buy. And, very importantly, they put two scoops into one cup. For fresh creamy and flavor delicious, Bruster's ice cream cannot be beat.

Very disappointed. Was craving ice cream and this didn’t not suffice. Ordered a small which was advertised as two scoops and only got one. The only saving grace was that the banana cream pie was pretty good. Boyfriend got cookie dough and it was flavorless. The cherry on top was that for my 1 scoop and his two scoop waffle cone, it was almost $17. Will not be coming back.

The flavor profiles are 10/10. I was very impressed with everything. I would come again! It is nice that they let you sample. The ice cream tastes fresh and creamy. I loved the banana cream pie.
