Overall food was OK. The starter (salmon) was a bit bland and unexciting. The main course (tenderloin) was unquestionably what made the meal worth it. The desert (strawberries with raw milk) was simply average.
The service was unapologetically slow and disappointing. It took ages between courses - nearly an hour between starter and main course. Not once we were asked if we wanted more drinks. Our dinner plates and glasses stood in front of empty for ages, while they were "busy" tidying up the bar, and doing other mise en place for the next day. Eventually they had to be prompted for our desserts, which they seemed annoyed by.
This would've been 2 stars, but a whole extra star goes to the chef who was extremely diligent in accommodating my wife's dairy intolerance.
In summary, I honestly do not understand how this restaurant rates enough to be in the Michelin yearly book.
