"The bright and fun B.S. Taqueria is run by Chef Ray Garcia, who previously spent six years manning Fig in Santa Monica. The menu isn't extensive but it's smartly curated, with plenty of taco options and lots of veggie-friendly variations. The margaritas are notably good, as are the happy hour prices."

Where to Sip Summertime Margaritas in Los Angeles - Eater LA

"The more casual little sister restaurant to Broken Spanish, B.S. Taqueria offers both a classic margarita and spins like the Oaxacan Bramble, built with mezcal, seasonal fruit, and habanero. Soak it all up with a smattering of tacos swaddled in housemade tortillas, and one is nearly guaranteed an exceptional night out." - Crystal Coser

Great guac and fresh chips. Make a reservation. I had the mushroom and garlic taco - filling and delightful. Wonderful purple tortilla handled with care. My husband and I ordered the classic margarita and Oaxacan bramble - both made wonderfully (and we are picky with cocktails).

Small space, big flavor! Party of 4 on a Monday night. We tried almost every taco on the menu, 2 of 3 desserts 3 different drinks for a whopping total of $200 It's a bit overpriced for the amount of protein. In the tacos and size. The flavor is authentic and distinct. Presentation is basic, nothing fancy. We really wanted to try the tlayudas,, only to be told they DIDNT HAVE BEANS! at a Mexican restuarant! Haha I asked for it without it or a substitute and she denied it...so was disappointed, since it was one of the things I really wanted to try. Not sure if I'll be coming back unless theres a special or new menu.

Delicious food! It can be a little spicy but make sure to inform them at the start of the meal if you would prefer to have a milder heat.

Had high expectations about this place. We couldn't afford Broken Spanish, it's sister restaurant, decided to come here. Ridiculous price per taco, although they were good they weren't outstanding. Overall, not good value for money.

The space is really cool, with a great vibe.. the service was great. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. So I tried the tacos, carnitas, shrimp and carne asada. Pass on the tacos! Except for the shrimp taco, the others were filled with lots of what I call filler.. this place has a lot of great reviews. So I'm assuming they've not tried the tacos. Save room for dessert, because the tres leches is why this place has three stars.. the true winner of the night..

Bit pricy but worth it. The baja fish tacos were so filling and zesty with perfect spice and cream seasoning. You are able to watch the chef make the tacos in the open kitchen. Baja fish tacos are $7 a pop. I had two. And you get charged for healthy staff health insurance on bill as well. Which was 0.78 cents on my bill. I had the paloma tequila drink which was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Overall it was a above and beyond mexican experience. I would return if im in town. Parking lots available or take the bus. And close to staple center. Total bill $29.32.

Really good food....some may say pricey but everything in downtown LA is pricey...ceviche tostada is shown here with the side of chips and beans... My friend got the taco, corn and chips with guacamole.....it actually filled me up even though I didn’t think it would.
