"One of the newest additions to the pastry case at Bub & Grandma's Glassell Park bakery-diner, this cinnamon roll tastes like falling backwards into a swimming pool of cotton balls. This baby issofffft. The light and supple dough is less gooey and more fluffy, with big swirls of fragrant cinnamon paste and frosting that’s just as airy as the bread (it holds in whipped peaks instead of dripping all over the place). Those looking just for pastries can head to the takeout window in the front, where croissants, doughnuts, and loaves of bread are available. They’re available on Mondays and Thursdays via the Platform Drive-Through, and are (usually) sold at Proof Bakery in Atwater on Tuesdays and Belle’s Bagels in Highland Park on Saturday.
