"Reminiscent of an industrial bait and tackle shop, the Bubba’s Fish Camp building is situated on the outskirts of Myrtle Beach, where you can smell the smoked meats wafting in the air from its 750-pound Cookshack Fast Eddy’s smoker nicknamed Sally. A good sampling is the pit boss platter piled with smoked pulled pork, pork sausage, quarter chicken, and baby pork back ribs, plus sides of crinkle fries, coleslaw, hush puppies, and brown baked beans." - Ashley Daniels

Every time I come to Myrtle Beach, I always go to another well-known restaurant for crabs. But this time I decided to try this one I give them five stars for the atmosphere.. the decorations in this restaurant are outstanding! My husband and I sat and just looked all around at all at fabulous intricate details that went into decorating the restaurant. it was clean. It was neat. Our waiter was friendly and our food was good. I will return.

The food was good I everybody in my party had great meals! The service was good our server was very kind and checked in frequently. The only negative i personally had was I think they are partnered with this photo company and during my dinner we had a photographer take some photos and try to sell them to us at the end of our meal. I don’t love get advertised during our meal and would love if they would be less of that.

When we arrived the restaurant was not busy, but they told us it would be an hour wait. We decided to wait. It was more like 25 minutes tops. Our server Kylee was pleasant and nice. She answered our questions ,but sometimes forgot a refill and we had no silverware when we received our appetizers. The food was plentiful, hot and seasoned. I would return to try something different. We also enjoyed the table cloth to color and play tic tac toe as we waited for our food.😊

The food is amazing and the service is even better! The highly recommend the brisket grilled cheese, the fried flounder sandwich and the peach cobbler! Our server Jordan was really attentive and went above and beyond! He gave great recommendations and was super fast.

First time visit during the 4th of July. Nice place. Liked the paper interactive table cloth. I was there in time for the live music. The young man was good. My family like their all you can eat catfish. The 4 rating is because my brisket nachos were greedy, soggy, and dry hard meat.

The auroma of smoke bbq hits you as soon as you walk through the doors! With great options of food and great drinks make this a great stop if you're in the mood for bbq. My only complaint was I was not a fan of my brisket tacos, but everything else was really good!

We enjoyed our seafood dishes and the attentive service. My son had fried fish and coleslaw and french fries. The fries had a nice crisp to them and they were more like steak fries. My husband had shrimp with hush puppies and french fries and he said the shrimp was good because it wasn't overly spiced so it really went well with the sauces that were served with it and the hush puppies or tender on the inside and crisp on the outside. He also enjoyed the steak fries with a little bit of coating. I had a lovely salad with a grilled salmon on top. The salmon was tender and of a good size and lightly seasoned. Our beverages were good as well. The atmosphere is very nice there. They have decorated the restaurant really cute. The restrooms were clean.

We were disappointed with this place. I hate giving low ratings, but I felt it was necessary. We visited around noon, and despite the restaurant being mostly empty, the service was slow. We didn’t see our server until about 15 minutes in, and after that, the food took quite a while to arrive—especially considering how few customers were there. Do not order the Brisket Burger. At $22 (before tax and tip), it was quite possibly the biggest ripoff of a burger I have ever had at a restaurant. Three of us ordered it, and all of us were disappointed. There was maybe a single drop of "apple chipotle BBQ sauce" on each burger, and unless the 'Bama white sauce tastes like nothing, we couldn't find any of it. The brisket itself lacked flavor, making the burger taste like a plain bacon cheeseburger. Honestly, the burger as a whole was below average. I've grilled better burgers from Walmart, and I probably would’ve been happier with a Bacon Quarter Pounder from McDonald's. Most of my disappointment stems from the price— I know brisket is expensive, but it should be paired with the right ingredients to make it stand out. I would have asked for more BBQ and white sauce, but the server wasn’t attentive enough for me to do so. The saving grace for the restaurant was the French fries, coleslaw, and the TV-filled atmosphere. Unfortunately, we will likely not return.
