Buc-ee's

This is one of our mandatory stops whenever we're driving through the I-95. It's the perfect place to get refreshed, relieved, and refueled. Many gas pumps, ample parking all around (including EV charging stations), well lit inside & out, fresh/hot food, a variety of beverages, a plethora of merch, clean/spacious restrooms, and all available 24/7. The attendants here are welcoming, friendly, helpful, and courteous. There are 2 entrances but we've discovered that the entrance off to the side gets closed down around 10pm. Also, something to note is that there are no water fountains, so if you wanted to refill your own water bottle, you'd have to pay $1.99 refill fee. However, you could simply purchase their largest cup (99¢). We were initially upset to hear we had to make a purchase even just to get water, but we can totally understand how people can abuse a "free refill" policy. The food is great! They've got everything from brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken/veggie fajitas/burritos, jerky, pastries, fudge, and prepackaged salads/protein kits. Their beverages consist of fountain soda (including some unique flavors), coffee, and slushies. With regards to their merch, they sell almost anything and everything. There are many things you can use for the outdoors and/or camping. They've also got a lot of knick knacks, home goods, books, toys, clothing, shoes, as well as some seasonal items. This location does well to maintain it's appearance, drawing in weary travelers at any time of day. We highly recommend checking this place out because it's quite an experience.

Buc-ee’s is a culinary wonderland that absolutely blew our minds on our first visit. The buzz in the air was palpable, and as we stepped inside, we were greeted by the sight of the infamous beaver mascot and an array of merchandise that could make any road trip worth it. I’ve been itching to try their Chopped Brisket Sandwich ($8.99), and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The sweet and spicy sauce slathered between a sweet potato roll created a taste sensation that was nothing short of smoky, sweet, meaty goodness. I was already in heaven, but then the breakfast options caught my eye. Holy shiitake mushrooms, Batman! The breakfast sandwiches were impressive enough, featuring classics like bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll, but the real stars were the brisket tacos. Yes, you heard that right—brisket and egg tacos, and straight-up brisket tacos. These weren’t just any tacos; they were little pockets of smoky, peppery, and slightly salty bliss. No sauce was needed because the brisket held its own like a champion. At 8:00 in the morning, Buc-ee’s was buzzing with hungry travelers, all eager to indulge in this Texas treasure. The energy was infectious, and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and chatter. Florence, South Carolina, has hit the jackpot with Buc-ee’s. They’ve nailed it on every front—from their food options to their warm hospitality and even their claim to having the cleanest bathrooms around. As a northerner, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. In New Jersey, a meal like this would cost an arm and a leg, but we managed to enjoy a feast for just $30, which included beverages, snacks, and our delicious sandwiches and tacos.

Buc-ee’s in Florence, SC is a great stop with an impressive selection of food, snacks, and travel essentials. The store is clean, well organized, and clearly designed to handle a lot of traffic. I do wish there were more options for those who don’t eat meat. I grabbed a veggie burrito, which was decent, while my boyfriend had a brisket sandwich that he really enjoyed. Meat-eaters are well covered, but a bit more variety on the vegetarian side would be appreciated. It was also very busy during our visit, and the store felt a little understaffed for the volume of people coming through. Overall, still a strong experience and an easy four-star stop.

I can’t believe I never heard of this place. If you’re in the area it’s a must. This is the only South Carolina location. It gets really busy on the weekends. While traveling South I came across Buc-ee’s. What a cool and amazing place this is! 53,000 sq ft. More than I could handle with my sciatica. The travel center has over 120 Gas Pumps, and Diesel Fuel and E85 are also available. The staff is so very nice. They all seem so happy to work there and love their job. They were so friendly and always smiling. Part of the reason is they’re paid very well. Once inside it goes on forever. They sell Drinks, Slushies, Coffee, Tea, Cold Drinks, plus Beer and Wine. Every single brand of Potato Chips, and flavors, all types of Beef, and Turkey Jerky. They have a large selection of Nuts. Chocolate Covered Pecans, Pecans, Almonds, Cashews, Hazelnuts, Peanuts, and Corn Nuts. They also offer Glazed Nuts and Nut Butter. along with a large variety of Snacks. They even have their own Bakery Department with all types of Homemade Cookies, and Handmade Fudge which is made on the premises. The signature snack is Beaver Nuggets, which are described as a caramel-based puff snack. It’s named after the founder Beaver Aplin. Buc-ee’s is also known for their fresh Chopped Brisket Sandwiches and Pork. They also serve Pulled Pork, BBQ Turkey Sandwiches, and Brisket Burritos. They offer a variety of their meats you can order together on a sandwich. Buc-ee’s sells all types of Clothing, from Infant to Adults. Tee-Shirts, Jackets, Gifts and Souvenirs. Traveling like I was doing it’s a perfect place to stop and take a break. I wound up buying some Ice Teas, Mesquite Peppered Jerky, Cherry Maple Jerkey, and Snacks. Parking is free they have a big Parking lot. There’s some Handicapped Parking near the entrance. They have very clean Bathrooms and Handicapped bathrooms.. I will definitely be returning and can’t wait to try some of their recommended favorite foods.

1st time visiting a Buc-ee's in SC and the sheer size of the place reminded me of a Walmart. They have all the snacks you can think of (including fresh fudge!) and their restrooms were spotless. The crowd on Tuesday afternoon 12/23 was crazy (hundreds of people fueling up as well as inside) and there was a very short wait for an available stall in the ladies' restroom. I have never seen a pit stop / fuel location so clean, large, and well-stocked with affordable prices plus fast check-out service. Definitely a must-see if you've never been to one! Side note: This location seems to have many friendly crows 😆

Buc-ee's Florence, SC: Road Trip Essential! Overall Rating: 5/5 Stars This Buc-ee's location is a true phenomenon and a required stop if you are traveling on I-95 through South Carolina. It delivers the full experience the chain is famous for: The Good: • The Bathrooms: Absolutely spotless. They are legendary for a reason—the cleanest you will find on any road trip. • The Fuel: The sheer number of pumps (over 100) is staggering, and the fuel prices are consistently competitive, making it a great place to fill up. • The Food: The chopped brisket sandwich is the star and is genuinely delicious barbecue. Don't leave without trying the Beaver Nuggets (sweet corn puffs) and checking out the incredible wall of homemade jerky. • The Shopping: It’s a retail experience that feels like a cross between a gas station and a massive country market, with everything from quirky souvenirs and apparel to camping gear. The Reality Check (The Crowds): Because this location serves as a major gateway to Myrtle Beach and is the only Buc-ee's in the state, it is extremely busy, especially on weekends and holidays. Be prepared for: • Crowded parking lots (especially difficult for RVs/trailers, which aren't ideally accommodated). • Long lines inside the store, though the staff are excellent at keeping the checkout process moving quickly. Tip: If you can time your stop for a weekday morning, the experience is much smoother. Conclusion: It's more than a gas station; it’s a destination. Come for the cheap gas and clean restrooms, but stay (and shop) for the brisket and Beaver Nuggets. Highly recommend!

This makes my fifth time or so coming to this location. There's plenty of gas pumps and parking for shoppers and spectators. The bathrooms are always cleaned and the staff members are professional and courteous. The original Beaver Nuggets are my favorite and the chopped brisket sandwich never disappoints. The register lines can get quite long, but even so, I've never had to wait longer than 2 minutes. I can't wait until the NC Buc-ee's opens.

Every year, our family makes the long drive from New Jersey down to Georgia. It is a ritual we have kept for a long time, and along the way there has always been one familiar landmark: South of the Border. On every trip, I would look forward to spotting the very first billboard and start counting down the miles as we approached the North Carolina and South Carolina line. But this year, something felt different. There were no billboards, no bright signs, and no reminders of what used to be the highlight of crossing state lines. The decline of South of the Border was obvious. But in its place, something else has risen—a new American landmark that seems to symbolize the changing times: Buc-ee’s. Located at 3390 N Williston Rd in Florence, SC, this gigantic Texas-born gas station has officially taken over our traditional stop. It is odd, enormous, and unforgettable. Buc-ee’s has practically reinvented the road-trip experience with its cheap gas, endless rows of food stalls, and a convenience store the size of a Walmart mixed with a travel plaza. Inside, you will find Texas barbecue sandwiches, fresh bakery items, mountains of beef jerky, walls of souvenirs, and—most importantly—the cleanest bathrooms on the interstate. It offers privacy, convenience, and comfort in a way that old roadside attractions never could. For our family, Buc-ee’s has now become the new ritual. It has successfully replaced South of the Border as our must-stop destination. It is modern, efficient, and just plain fun. While it does not have the quirky charm of the old landmark, it has earned its place as the new icon of American road travel. If you are driving through South Carolina on I-95, Buc-ee’s in Florence is absolutely worth the stop.

But-eve's is really great, this was our 1st time really here. Thee are a few of them on 95 going to Florida from MD. Also a few new ones being build in different areas in between the ones up now. When you first walk in it's WELCOME TO BU-ee's it looks kinda like a Wawa when you walk in and then you see it there's everyone from fountain drinks ( bring your own cup, thermos what ever your drinking from and all refills are .79 hot or cold) jerky counter with 20-30 different types a bbq stand make bbq sandwiches and they sing bathrooms are very clean lots of cold drinks and then there's also the shopping. From kids to adults cloths toys house hold items and about 100 gas's pumps.

This was my first visit to Buc-ee's. Been wanting to go after I saw the billboards for hundreds of miles. Saw the youtube videos and all the hype. It was a real disappointment. The isles were extremely crowded and narrow, long line at the restroom and no room to move. We got sandwiches and they were soggy and tasteless. I took 2 bites of mine and threw it away. I was flossing my teeth with the lettuce. My hubs had Italian sub-too much mayo and old stringy tomatoes. They were not fresh and the ingredient list was longer than a novel. Their food was average at best and much of it was not good and not that cheap either. I thought it would be alot nicer and a good place to stop for lunch after a long drive. The gas pumps moved fast though even though it was crowded. Not a fan and next time we stop at Love's. Less wait, less crowd and and more convenience.

I finally made it to a Bucee's for the first time. All I can say is wow! This place is massive for a gas station. Over 100 gas pumps and a parking Lot. Charging stations for electric cars and a designated doggy area. I visited on a Friday around noon. There were people everywhere, shoulder to shoulder. I honestly had sensory overload. There is a little bit of everything and a whole lot of everything. They have shopping carts and buggies. I spent a little over $100 on just random stuff in here. SMH I can say, they were fully staffed and friendly. Despite how crowded it was, the store and bathrooms were very clean! The bbq sandwiches are a must try! The pulled pork and brisket are on point. The homemade Bucee beaver chips are wonderful. They have over 15 flavors of chocolate. They have a huge coffee station, you self serve and can create hot or iced coffe/tea drinks. They have every flavor of jerky you can imagine and then some. They sell clothes. They have unique handmade household items and the list goes on. I feel everyone should go and patronize a Bucees at least once. I definitely love this place and will go again.

I'm a bit of a Buc-ees fan so I had to make the 76 mile trek to visit in Florence SC. This one is especially large with a whopping 260 gas pumps and 53,000 sf of shopping space. Inside you will find just about anything you could want! It has a variety of clothing-branded, nice women's clothing and a large men's sports department. Lots of great options for kids and babies as well. They also have a ton of options for household and gift items. I can't do a review without highlighting their amazing food options. They have a long meat case with so many varieties of beef jerky, sausage and cheeses. Their smoked meat area is massive and you must have their smoked brisket sandwich! The bbq sauce is just enough to make it one of the best sandwiches to go. Don't ever hesitate to visit one of these fun stores!!

Chopped brisket sandwich is perfect lunch size and the beaver chips are a perfect accompaniment and because of the volume they sell food is fresh. Perfect stop for us halfway home, no need to refuel now

I will start by saying that I am a Buc-ee's fanatic. If I am passing through Florence, Buc-ee's is a must! We did not stop for gas, but the number of pumps available is astonishing. They also have areas for pets, RVs, and plenty of parking. I love the BYO coffee area. Most places only offer hot coffee, so I really appreciate the iced coffee section. We prefer iced all year long! My go-to food item here is the Texas cheesesteak burrito. If you don't try anything else, you need to try that. We also enjoy the brisket sandwiches and fresh baked goods. I am a person that is highly aware of germs in public, which means that I very rarely feel comfortable using the bathroom. Buc-ee's bathrooms are SPOTLESS, cleaner than many many restaurants, hotels, etc. Even if they didn't have the mascot and overwhelming amount of goodies, I think I would still be inclined to stop for the clean bathrooms!

The iconic gas station of the south! I've always stopped by the Florence location to charge up my Tesla. They may not have as many super charger stalls compared to their gas pumps, but there's still enough where I've never had to wait in queue to charge my car. Best way to kill time is to go into Buc-ee's to use their restroom (kept very clean) and grab some snacks. It's a mini market in there. There are stations that specialize in bbq pulled pork sandwiches (which are really good. I usually end up getting 2 to be full). Compared to other gas stations, their snack and drinks selection is definitely better. There are open grass fields behind the chargers for dog owners to walk their pets or just get a quick stretch in. Road trips would be less taxing with more places like Buc-ee's to stop by!

Us Californians don't come across Buc-ee's too often, so we HAD to make a stop when we saw this stop off the I-95! Driving northbound, Buc-ee's did a great job of generating demand with the constant roadside billboards reminding you that you're nearing Buc-ee's, we counted around 12 billboards, starting from 263 miles away! When we got there, it was a madhouse! Tons of traffic going in and out, but no wait for gas since they had sooo many gas pumps available. Parking was okay too since they had a large lot. Once inside, most people were crowded around the same areas, namely the bathrooms, pastries and brisket area. Employees were making fresh food when we were there, and check out was quick and easy with the numerous cashiers available. They have a large selection of beef jerky and fudge and every flavor imaginable, so something to check out if you're into that. We opted for the BBQ brisket slices sandwich ($8.49) and the roasted pecans ($4.49). The sandwich was decent, but underwhelming, as it wasnt hot and buns weren't toasted. The pecans were super good, and still hot in the bag. We didn't have time to explore the souvenirs too much, but they had anything you could imagine (books, paintings, buccees branded merch, and a LOT more!) While it's gimicky and chaotic, it's a fun stop to get the essentials and break up the long drive. Also, they appear to be hiring at very high wages relative to the industry and area (check out the pic posted if interested!).

The Costco of gas stations with BBQ, jerky, and sweet treats. TRAFFIC is a BEAST. Docked one star. Get your gas. Super clean bathrooms. Bio break. They get you in and out quickly with all of the crowd. Tons of registers open. Sweet treats of all kind including Beaver Nuggets. Sweet corn puffs. Crack, addictive. Stay away from it sweet lovers. lol. Unless you want a root canal. Haha soooo gooood Beef Jerky GO TO -- beef brisket fatty. Get 2 pounds and thank me. Moist. Juicy. Fatty. By the pound. Carnivores represent. Bring your patience. Highly recommend.

I had never ever visited a Buc-ees but heard so much about them on my recent trip I got to see one and OMG loved it. They have so much to offer to mention a few stations, Fudge, Jerky, Brisket, deli, bakery, glazed nuts, souvenirs, clothes, and all basic things like candy beverages, coffee, etc.... It was like a whole dept store.wish they had some in S. Florida

I love reading the 1 star reviews. All of them say it was too crowded....no kidding....the gas pumps were so busy ....they couldn't find anyone working there. There are literally 50 people working there at any one time .This is Buc-ee's what do you expect? The place is insane on a good day . That being said yes the food itself is a little expensive for sure but snacks are pretty cheap. Restrooms are clean and there are 900 gas pumps to get gas at. If you don't want chaos then don't go here .

From all the billboards, I figured it was just a trucker/tourist trap. I'm glad I went because they have some pretty good hot food and tons of snacks for your road tripping needs! The bathrooms and huge and very clean despite the large crowds. The staff there are also incredibly nice. The young lady at checkout managed to upsell me on some original "Nug-ees." Nug-ees... they sound stupid, they look like stale corn pops, but holy hell are they delicious and addicting! She wasn't wrong, I'm glad I got some! Honestly, the only complaint I have is about the people that go to Buc-ee's. The gas station is HUGE, something like 100 gas pumps, but there's this weird subculture of entitlement that I only see at Buc-ee's where these rude people feel like they have to use the gas pumps as their personal parking lot as if it was written into the Bill of Rights. Usually it's not a problem until it became one and I struggled to find an open pump because of all the empty parked cars.

I have been here a couple times before making it in for the new year. All of the Buc-ee's locations are similar and there's usually a crowd there. Be prepared to stay for about 45 minutes since it's the world's largest gas station and to take a pee break, load up on snacks, and fill up the car with gas if needed. There are food, drinks, or items everywhere you look. I got fruit mixture since I already devoured on the banana pudding and fudge from the one in Florida. You will not go hungry. The bathrooms are sparkly clean and have staff members working in there making sure it was kept that way. I can't believe how pleasant it was with all the cashiers and staff helping customers. You will spend more than necessary and it's all worth it for the beaver.

What else can be said about Bucess? It is becoming legendary. This location is right next to I-95 and and easy off and on. When we visited at 7am on Sunday morning, it was pretty empty. We had breakfast for the first time and it was great -- self-service coffee bar with all the fixins you could want, and a nice fresh, hot bacon egg and biscuit sandwich. Bucees is always a "must stop" for me. We just need more!

This location was super easy to get in & out. As always; bathrooms clean, Employee's friendly, and gas pretty cheap. If you've never been in a Buc-ee's...there is a lot of fresh and packaged food options from savory to sweet, a huge coffee station, drinks galore, and shopping. It is like a hyped up Cracker Barrel or small Bass Pro Shop. Great to walk around and stretch your legs. AND as a female, the cleanest bathrooms. There are always multiple Employee's in the restroom area directing women to open stalls and keeping everything clean. The brisket. Oh so yummy and always fresh. Check out the meat sandwiches. I haven't tried anything from their bakery but there is always a line. They even have a Jerky bar. Everyone should stop by at least once.

Always open - always a stop on our roadtrip. Seriously Buc-ees is almost a theme park on its own - and for good reason. Depending on when you arrive it could be slow with a few dozen people or packed like an actual amusement park with only elbow room. It's an entire experience. From the delicious brisket that's chopped in front of you, to the roasting nuts and fudge - there's something for everyone at Buc-ees. It's hard to call it a gas station because it's so much more than that. On our most recent stop we grabbed roasted pecans, chopped and sliced brisket, a sliced turkey sandwich, hot sauce, brisket seasoning, blackberry jelly, sour gummy bears, dark chocolate almonds...ok pretty much everything. Try it - it's fun for the whole family and the bathrooms are super clean. Who knew a gas station could be so much fun?!

First time here and .......well at first I said !%#€!. Then proceeded to maneuver myself through the crowd. They do have a great selection of Jerky. You can buy it in packages or at the Jerky counter you can but it in bulk. Soooo many flavors. My favorite energy drinks ( Reign & Bang ) are less than $2.00 here. Elsewhere I have paid from $2.39 to $3.50. Prices are pretty good and a huge selection of whatever. The Beef Brisket is great. With all kinds of bakery treats to be had. I resisted and had none of the bakery delights. Coffee , tea, cold brew in abundance, but no Expresso or Latte. They do have flavors to enhance your coffee not to taste lime coffee. Oh yes a mile gas pumps, well it was pretty long. Prices for premium was very good as that is what I use in my vehicles. In the long to short...... if you have not been to Buc-ee's it is an experience. Are you experienced? You can get Purple Haze here. Bang !!!! Yes , I would stop off here again. Ohhh one more thing. The restrooms were very , very clean. But a line up if you have to go. Be prepared to wait a few minutes.

Customer Service: 5 Affordability: 5 Location: 5 Cleanliness: 5 We're visited this Buc-ee's location in Florence, SC last month as we were needing a refueling stop. We always enjoy visiting this Buc-ee's franchise, because they have great coffee and brisket sandwiches. They are also a very large gas station, and they have plenty of other options for everyone that is looking for shopping options.

We had quite an experience at Buc-ee's--it was surreal. People were bustling around at a wild pace, some even walking forward while looking back! At times, we felt like we might get run over. This place is definitely the "Disneyland of rest stops." They had everything you could imagine: jams, jerky, candy, hot brisket sandwiches--pretty much anything you could want. Their Buc-ee's corn pops tasted just like Captain Crunch, which was a pleasant surprise. And I have to say, the brisket sandwich was tender and absolutely delicious. Plus, for a rest stop, the bathroom was unbelievably clean.

Stopped on a Sunday afternoon and this location was packed. So busy there was a line at the women's restroom! The employee did a great job moving the line very quickly. I didn't stay long, just got warm glazed pecans and nuggets and got back on the road. I suggest they post the price of their gas somewhere inside the store. I might have filled up if I had known the price

Gas prices are great, but you don't get a receipt. We really did like the brisket and the fresh jerky. Hubs and I were not thrilled with the praline. There is nothing better than Savannah for those. We are looking forward to Buckees coming to North Carolina, because they did understand the assignment and we will be loyal patrons.

As a resident from the far north, I couldn't understand all the fervor around Buc-cees. After all, it's just a Speedway on steroids, right? Then I visited. If Cookout and Speedway had a baby, and that baby grew up to have a baby with the offspring of Pilot Flying J and Marshall's Home.... you get my point! The first thing you notice is the 12 miles of gas pumps. [Ok, its not 12 miles, but there are a hellova lot of them] There are 4 rows of about 20 gas pump bays. Sweartagawd. Im not exaggerating. As they say where I'm from.. "Deadass" Ok, I looked it up. There's 160 gas pumps. ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY! Buc-cees is a vibe. You really find yourself liking the place. It's hard to pinpoint the reason WHY this place is so freaking popular, but once you go inside, you'll find 1000 reasons why you'd want to come back. I hadn't realized my 2 previous visits had fully inducted into me into the Buctooth Nation... until my city slicker a$$ got so excited when I saw a Buc-cees on the horizon, I insisted we stop. If you ever get the chance to visit, check out the brisket or pulled pork. No pork on your fork? Try the chicken! Try everything! I'm coming back for that cast iron dutch oven

Smaller than the other Buc-ee locations I have been too- it is just as hectic! Preferred pit stop for bathroom breaks- we have stopped at this location before and remembered that the store is smaller and that getting in and out of the location was a little counter-intuitive. Be careful driving through the lots and parking- it's just so busy! I had to laugh at myself for not thinking of looking for Halloween Decorations at Bucees! I know better for next year- I did snag a couple goodies and John found a grilling apron to give to our brother-in-law, since he is crazy for Buc-ee's (aka a Texan). Happy shopping!

Wow!!! When in Rome...or in this case South Carolina. We had to find a nearby Bucc-ee's and check it out. We've heard so much about it that we couldn't pass up the opportunity. First thing you notice driving up is the gas pumps...double stacked rows...that seem to go on forever. I wouldn't be surprised if there were hundreds. Then, you walk inside and it is just a madhouse of a gas station. Anything and everything you can imagine...food, household items, drinks, clothes, automotive items, toys, etc... To be honest, though, I wasn't as taken aback as I thought I would be. With as much as people talk about it, I was expecting something ridiculous. Granted, it was big...but not nearly as big as I thought it would be. It was cool to see, but it certainly isn't something that I will go out of my way to return to. If you're in the area, it is worth a stop...but, in my opinion, it is greatly overhyped.

Listen when I tell you to believe the hype. I just left Buc-ees, and I wish I could turn back to buy another one of their delicious brisket. Omgg, delicious! That meat is so tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. That bbq sauce slapped. I wish I sampled it before leaving; I would've purchased a bottle to take home with me. The crew were friendly, and despite the heavy flow of traffic there, it's CLEAN. You constantly see crew members tidying up the areas. I love that!! It smells like a clean bakery  with something for everyone.

HELL YES! I've never been to a Buc-ee's and it is so much fun. I am so happy it exists. Clean bathrooms, anything you could think to buy, at a gas station pit stop. They even had my new favorite protein bars (Built Puff) and their hot food actually looked delicious... I'm pretty picky and would ordinarily never eat gas station food and I would totally get a BBQ sandwich here.

Ace sort overload in the best way possible. This place was not the "restaurant in a gas station" I thought. This place was not only HUGE but amazing!!! The employees were so in synch with one another.it was giving cheers when old guy came in.... I loved it!!! The pulled pork/chicken sandwich was freakin PHENOMENAL.. like I was so upset with myself that u didn't order a second one. They had so many perfect things for your own home but also had a million gifts for travelers. If you see yourself near a Buc-ees yard gotta venture in to see the chaotic mess... it's a rest stop-gas station-restaurant-home decor-toy store-gift shop

This place is jumping. So full of people. Lines to the bathroom. But I got in and out with my BBQ Brisket Sandwich. Clerks were nice and friendly. Bathrooms are still clean though I did not see anyone working in the bathroom. Still a great place but they need to build more. This place is Buc-ee's meets Cracker Barrel on crack. LOL Two visits. One going to Clemson and one coming back. June 14 and 19, 2024

As a gas station and rest spot, it is overwhelming. There is so much to eat here. Amazing pulled pork sandwiches and many flavors of beef jerky and candy. We were not expecting to get so much and this was one of the first places that had enough cashiers to keep the lines moving.

Never been to a Buc-ee's before. This place is wild. Packed, coming and going, in and out. Everything from Jerky, to nuts, to t-shirts to bathing suits. Looks like a well oiled machine! Bustling, friendly employees at every turn. Bathrooms are sparkling clean They must have 75 gas pumps. Impressive. I am puzzeled, though... there's tons of food, but no tables to sit at?

Being part of a large chain, the review will not change drastically, pretty much the same from location to location. I try to isolate anything special that I experiene in a different location. I have heard about Buc-ee's for a while now and when I had an opportunity to visit a new location I jumped right in and WOW I am glad I did. This place is also the mother-ship of roadside rest stops. You must be prepared to spend a little time here when you visit just to get the full flavor of everything going on here. Besides the crazy amount of bays here for gasoline, everything is BIG. Every employee here does nothing but and offer assistance and smile. There favorit line is "Is this your first time here?" "We went into the sore after gassing up, to take the 'self guided tour.' The first thing that catches your eye is the fresh sandwich section in the front. Brisket, Turkey, Sausage were the primary. "Brisket on the Cutting Board." You hear that alot as they're cutting and chopping. Today we went with some mini chocolate chip cookies and a coffee. Again, they were both perfect. The cookies are even better when yu like the crispy more than the chewy. They have an amazing fudge section, and the biggest selection of Jerky I have ever seen. Plenty of cloths, nic-nacs and branded items... Lots and lot of branded items. I purchased the Buc-ee phone holder. There are plenty of pictures with this written review. The bathrooms are huge and clean. Again, everyhing here is done on a grand scale. I definitely caught the "Beaver Fever" here and urge everyone to stop by when you get a chance. Everyone has already said what I want to review. This place is awesome and arriving felt like attending a much-hyped concert or playoff game. Before my mother-in-law passed in 2021, we traveled from Charlotte to Surfside Beach several times a year. Florence is halfway so stopping was a no brainer to refuel, stretch, pee, and snack. If Buc-ee's was there then, I would have visited her more often, lol. Buc-ee's is worth the effort and they're price competitive, too. Has my "Give 'em a Whirl" meter rolling on the ground squealing with joy. Just go! PS: Many thanks to Bruce, Edward, and Suzanne for putting this place on my radar. Ok, I'm impressed. The bathrooms were incredibly clean, and everything else was as well. We thought our brisket sandwiches were really good and we bought some t-shirts, jerky and other snacks. The only complaint I have is that there was nowhere to sit and eat my lunch. It would be nice if they had some picnic tables outside or even some big rocks to sit on.

First time at Buc-ee's. It is an experience. A huge gas station with an even bigger store. This store has plenty to choose from if you are looking for a snack or a full meal. Buc-ee has it. There is a section that is all things Buc-ee's. Who can think of all the items they sell with the Buc-ee logo. Another where you can buy clothes, gifts, another area to get many options for eat, and a grocery area that sells beer and wine. Be ready to spend some time if you want to check it out. There is a lot to see. Enjoy

Was driving home and my wife said, we had to stop here! "Your gonna love it she said". Well, I didn't. Don't get me wrong, it's good, totally a tourist stop/massive gas station with a store that carries a bunch of stuff from beer, wine, soft drinks, freshly cooked BBQ, home goods, jerky, touristy stuff...you get the picture. Well, I was dragged around the store and grabbed a smoked jalapeño/cheese kielbasa from the refrigerator. Looked interesting enough. Will try this in a later date. Headed over to the BBQ area and watched a young man in a cowboy hat slicing while briskets. He cut the fatty top half off and set it aside as he proceeded to slice off the ends that, which I assume, has too much fat in them? As I watched in shocked at this practice, he continued to slice off pieces of meat and discarded them into the hole in his butcher block. I assume for trash. I was freaking out watching this. Then he grabs the point again and slices the entire fat layer off and discards that too. (What is going on here?). I thought to myself, can I have everything in the trash? My wife finds me crying in disbelief and tells me to get a BBQ sandwich...so I get the 3-meat sandwich. Turkey, sausage and chopped brisket already pre-sauced! Was just ok. The turkey wasn't to my liking and neither was the sauce. She had the pulled pork, which she always gets when the girls go on a roadtrip here, again, to me...just ehhhh. Seemed like a big tourist trap, but hey, check it out yourself. I prefer a brisket from a roadside vendor with an outdoor pit and smoke everywhere within a mile from the joint.

Strap in for a roller coaster ride! It's high energy and fun!!! Tons of good food, drinks and merchandise. It's always an adventure to stop at Buc-ees. Thanks for the fun stop!!!

The grand daddy of all gas station/convenient stores. Crazy amount of fuel pumps. Crazy selection of snacks and food. Better stop destination than South of the Border.

First time going to a Buc-ee's while on a road trip and I see what all the hype is about. From bathrooms being clean to fresh foods being readily available to welcoming/patient staff.. My first Buc-ee'e experience was one that ill use to recommend other travelers to go to.

You can get so many different things here - banana pudding, fudge (buy 4 pieces get 2 free), and so much more. Everyone who works here is very friendly. And it's easy to fill up to get gas. The restrooms are very clean as well. There are several locations around so if you pass one on your travels you should stop .

Best gas prices going south on I-95. THE BEST. Other nearby truck stops may have matched the price, but if you want to be sure to squeeze every penny out, go here. Many, many pumps. Parking lot is a mess. Too many pedestrians walking in from pumps. Too few places to park. If you go inside, brace yourself.... a claustrophobic would have a panic attack most of the time. Crowded is an understatement. Unpleasantly so. If you can deal with the crowd, there are some things to be happy about. The bathrooms are very clean. The snack section is good but not great (no sugar free anything in the entire store, no hershey's products.) Their private label salty/sweet snacks are very good. Other reviews will tell you about the wall of jerky (great selection) and the freshly made BBQ (meh). The bakery section features freshly made items but some things are only available in the mornings. Beyond that, you are looking at a nightmare of a souvenir / t-shirt / smoker and grill shop. For me, I put this location, at least, in the been-there-done-that category. I'll stop for gas and potty every time but I do not ever need to spend any more time or money in there than necessary.

Things are so big in Texas they are spreading to other states. Now if a Whataburger can start spreading to other areas. When I lived in Texas everyone knows this place Buc-ees. They are starting to branch out in various parts of the country and this is one of those situations where word of mouth draws people to this place. I am sure there are more than a few people who stop here to just say I was at Buc-ees. And yes the rumors are true. They have the cleanest bathrooms. I will say I like the fact that this place offers ethanol free gas and of course they have many plenty of pumps to choose from. Prices are actually decent when compared to other stations where you might fill up. Just keep your head on a swivel as people are so mesmerized by the size they get tunnel vision and can't pay attention to their surroundings. I admit the boudain they sell there is pretty good. Plenty of food selections that will hit any appetite. Literally this place is like WaWa having a child with WalMart. In case you have your doggie with you there is a nice little relief area for them behind the place.

This was my first visit and it did not disappoint. I knew it was big but dang, it's really big. The gas was much less expensive than all the other stations. Add to that an amazing food and shopping experience coupled with super friendly staff members. Of course, I bout some Beaver Nuggets and if you like puffed corn snacks, you'll love them. I also had the steak burrito and it was fresh, hot, and delicious. The wall of soda was mesmerizing and the jerky choices are off the charts. I also bought a couple stuffed toys, a t-shirt, and a coffee tumbler (great price). Ext time I'm in the area, I'll definitely visit and try the brisket sandwich.

Situated right off the highway and easy access. Clean bathrooms. Merchandise was well stocked and organized. Love it here!!

WOW! Huge store. Not just food and drink. Need some new clothes? Some home decor? They've got it. TONS of gas pumps. A huge bathroom that is clean and spotless. It's 24 hours, however, food service closes at 12 midnight. So we weren't able to order any food. There was a ton of staff cleaning, preparing for the next day, and working hard. Since we couldn't get food made to order, I picked a pre-made chicken Caesar salad. The chicken was a weird texture, chewy and I had to throw it away. They also didn't have any Starbucks canned drinks in the cooler section. I was surprised to see that to be honest. Worth stopping. Just don't get that salad.

The sights, scents, and spaciousness is what made my first Buc-ee's trip memorable! I packed sandwiches for the road from home but this spot has some tantalizing treats!! Brisket made on the spot, fresh fudge, a coffee bar that has syrups galore. The bathrooms are clean and a'plenty. The gas pumps..wow how about 2 rows worth!! I tried the sugared nuts, kolache (very doughy bread but the rice one was the best). My bar had a sausage on a stick plus breakfast burrito which smelled divine. Things here sell quickly - I was eyeing an outfit to get later in the week for my trip back home but it already sold out! Love the convenience and food options of this gas station chain!

Talk about busy. This place is huge. There are over 120 pumps and everyone loves to stop here. Inside is just as busy, but they are super efficient and keept things moving. You can get lost in the shopping from awesome food to snacks, even home decor and clothes. One of the places that if you know you know... and if you dont know you have to find out ASAP

What a crazy place.. so many people but so much to see .. big draw if meat counter where they have fresh chopped brisket on the bar!! They make variety of sandwiches and other good stuff.. can't go wrong.. the cleanest well maintained spacious bathrooms I've seen! A must stop if you see one on way somewhere.. gas prices are great plus ice for coolers are cheap
