9 Succulent Barbecue Restaurants in the Seattle Area

"Okay, this one isn’t in Seattle, but it’d be delinquent to skip it here. About 40 minutes outside the city, in the darling mountain town of Snoqualmie, Dave Van Storm’s honoring his West Virginian roots by serving house-smoked, fall-apart brisket, pork shank, and pulled pork out of an historic bank. (The name refers to his grandmother adding an empty bowl to the table whenever she cooked squirrel — “for the buckshot, honey.”) Some standouts are the burnt ends chili with provolone whiz, the pulled pork drizzled in chimichurri with black pepper mayo on challah, and the Oscar Wilde — gochujang-sauced burnt ends, local mushrooms, roasted apples, pickled shallots, sour lacto-fermented corn, and fresh herbs. Or you can have it Dave’s Way: a luscious brisket sandwich with half a pound of meat, roasted onions, pickled peppers, black pepper mayo, and whiz on light rye. It’s a total smokeshow." - Meg van Huygen, Jade Yamazaki Stewart, Harry Cheadle

How to Spend a Luscious 24 Hours in the Snoqualmie Valley - Eater Seattle

"Buckshot Honey offers a Cascadian barbecue menu featuring 12-hour smoked brisket, Filipino adobo pork shank, chimichurri pulled pork, and burnt ends chili. My mom usually doesn’t enjoy meat—especially BBQ or smoked meats—but she took one bite of the Dave’s Way brisket sandwich at Buckshot Honey and immediately said, “This is so good!” She was genuinely impressed. The flavor wasn’t too overpowering, the meat was tender and juicy, and everything—from the roasted onions to the pickled peppers and cheese-whiz—came together perfectly. Even someone who normally avoids meat found it absolutely delicious. It was such a special moment because it’s rare for my mom to rave about food like that. Whether you’re a meat lover or not, this place is 100% worth a visit.

We dropped in on a Sunday afternoon because we were looking for some tasty food, and we weren't disappointed. We had an Uncle Phil sandwich, Burnt - Ends Chili, and a Sequoia Pork sandwich. They were great tasting and good-sized servings. The cook even talked to us. He was really friendly and helpful. They are only open for three hours on a Sunday, but we fortunately got in right before they closed up. The seating is a little limited, but they have inside and outside seating. Check them out for sure!

Google
Phenomenal!!! Best brisket/bbq combo in the Greater Seattle that I’ve had so far. The pictures suck because I started eating too fast, lol. The meat was tender, moist, flavorful. The one piece has both types of bbq sauce, one being a KC style with a Filipino flare and the other being a Carolina style. The greens, the cornbread, the apple butter, the fresh made Marionberry lemonade, EXCELLENT! The service was top shelf as well. No complaints other than I wish I bought more meat. After, you can walk it off through town or by the river. 10/10 👏🏻👏🏻

Google
Love Buckshot! 1st time experience knocked it out of the park! From the brisket was exactly how I wanted it. Fatty! Mac and cheese and collard greens where fantastic! Wife was happy to see the full leafs of collard greens. Even the bathroom was a pleasant experience. Can't wait to come back!

Google
Best barbecue in the Western Washington. We got ribs, brisket, collard greens, and corn bread. All of it was awesome, but the brisket was so much better than other places' that I would strongly suggest making sure to order that. Ribs are only available Saturday and Sunday, and can run out pretty quick, so just a heads-up if that's what you're going for, get there on the weekend and get there early, and be prepared with a backup plan just in case.

Google
Yummy! -Dave’s way sandwhich was amazing! -Add some of their house bbq sauce and oh my goodness! We both were in awe. -The brisket was truly delicious and tender. - collard greens were so good! -potatoe salad, also good but not as much wow factor, but I mean it’s potatoe salad it’s not that crazy, we were happy! -The Mac bowl. Not as much of a fan, it was presented beautifully but we have some criticism: -The brisket on top was really good of course. -The corn bread was, I hate to say this, but it was just straight up bad. No flavor and reallllly dry and hard. I make cornbread from a box that’s better than that. -the Mac, creamy and cheesy and noodles were chewy which we liked, however no seasoning? Personally this feels like a no no to be to have to rely on adding bbq sauce and brisket to Mac in order for it to have spices. -instead of brisket we could have had it topped with collard greens, I honestly can’t imagine that option. We tried a few bites of collard greens with the Mac and it was very odd. One thing I will say, if you’re someone like me who normally eats very clean, not a lot of cheese or fat or heavy greasy porky foods, the Mac bowl may not be for you! 😅 yes I enjoyed it for the most part but omg it was heavy! Not for the faint hearted. Luckily my husband and I were splitting the sandwhich and the bowl together, there’s no way I could just sit and eat all that. If you like heavy foods you’ll likely love it, minus the unseasoned Mac and the dry cornbread. Staff was super friendly and we genuinely enjoyed our meal, most of all the sandwhich and the sides we had with it. We wouldn’t order the Mac bowl again, just not for us.

Google
My family made reservations here for 11am brunch and we loved it! 10 of us + 2 toddlers dined family style with two Si Boards, one rack of ribs (Sunday special), and one extra side of Mac and cheese for the kiddos. We were stuffed, but polished everything off no problem. Everything was super good, but the brisket stole the show. I also loved the collard greens and I'm not usually a huge fan of them. Everything had a unique and local twist that I really appreciated. It was also fun having the owner check on us - shows that he really takes pride in the restaurant. For dessert, they had a limited number of carrot cakes from a local bakery that were the best I've ever had.

Google
Truly excellent Appalachian-style bbq with a PNW flair. Dave and his team have created something amazing. We love trying the specials and recommend this place to anyone in the area and to visitors. It’s pricey but you’re paying for quality and fresh food. The Mac and cheese alone is excellent.

Yelp
The food is awesome! All of it. The owner is very personable and takes so much pride in his recipes, which comes out in the flavors. I have some tough allergies that stopped me from enjoying the barbecue that the rest of our party enjoyed. The owner made me a special salad that was very yummy with fresh local ingredients. Also, my husband's family is from North Carolina and he said that the Carolina barbecue was the best he has had outside of Carolina! Definitely recommend.

Yelp
Fun spot for bbq! The restaurant is small and is set up in an old bank building in the cute town of Snoqualmie. I got the hoggnaw sandwich, and the pulled pork was tender and juicy without being heavy on flavor. I got the mac and cheese and collared greens as sides, which were tasty as well. The portion was pretty filling. You order at the counter and bus your own table. There is inside and outside seating with bathrooms inside. Parking is street parking

Yelp
Absolutely worst experience with these people. They were hired (at great expense) to cater a wedding with breakfast for dinner. Less than 150 guests. They were in the kitchen for hours before serving. They could not keep up with the people wanting to eat. So the first few tables got some food. They were done completely and then two hours later about 5 tables still had gotten nothing. NOTHING! Guests were leaving because it was 8 pm and people were hungry (the ceremony was at 4). And then when I, as the father of the bride, confronted the person in charge of this mess asking where the food was - HE BLAMED THE DJ saying that he was sending people "too fast" and they didn't have time to "refresh"! What??? Have you been to a wedding? Once a table is through the line, the next table goes. You don't wait 10 minutes to refresh. You refresh as you go. You should have planned all this out. Then he got lippy. Because it was so late and people left my daughter did not ever get to cut her cake, people missed the toasts. The DJ left at 10 because we thought we would be done by then. Any apologies? Anything at all? Nope. My daughter was in tears. Her husband was furious. I was enraged. And guests were hungry. DO NOT EVER HIRE THESE PEOPLE FOR ANYTHING. EVER. Truly the most unprofessional caterer I have EVER dealt with. And they ruined my daughter's wedding. She was so excited about a reception with breakfast for dinner and you people ruined it. You owe my kid not only a huge apology but you should refund every dime you stole from them. You should truly be ashamed of yourselves. Update: As you can see by the lovely response below, this is really a top notch outfit. I was in the kitchen only once (never kicked out), I spoke only to him (not "the help" and this was his attitude at the time), and since the unanimous opinion of everyone at the reception was that he ruined the whole thing, I doubt anyone gave him a "fat tip." And finally, he was going to reach out to the bride and groom and buy them a nice dinner, but now he's not because the bride's father hurt his feelings. Sir, your response is all the evidence I need that everything I said was absolutely true. I post this to warn others. They can do what they want with the information.

Yelp
Just went to their cashmere opening. SOOOO GOOD! This place will do so well in the valley. I have eaten at both locations and it was great to see how wonderful this new spot is! Melt in your mouth brisket and pulled pork! Mac and cheese! OMG!!! Order the papaya salad!

Yelp
A friend and I stopped here looking for a quick lunch, and we were very impressed with what we got at Buckshot Honey! The brisket was flavorful and tender, its wasn't super juicy which was nice because the bread didn't get soggy. The cornbread was perfect! I've done a lot of traveling in the Southern US where cornbread is king and what was served here competes with the best of them. It wasn't brittle and had great flavor. The service was extremely quick and the staff was very friendly. The restraint is not very big in size but has a nice open feel to it with the high ceilings. The music selection was good with some classic county to match the bbq food, but it wasn't too loud so you could still have a conversation.

Yelp
Wow! Everything at Buckshot Honey is absolutely delectable! From the mac & cheese to the brisket, everything is top-notch. I just returned from Dallas, and I'd say this BBQ is on par with Terry Black's! On top of the delicious BBQ, the team at Buckshot Honey is so kind and accommodating. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and there's a spacious outdoor, covered patio. I definitely recommend this place--it's worth a trip from anywhere in the state (or the world)! :)

Yelp
Went to this spot based on decent reviews & a lack of other choices in the area. Cool vintage bank building. Great cornbread & brisket. The potat salad was tasteless & the burnt ends chili not so great. If you want to pay 80 dollars for a brisket sandwich, a bowl of chili and cornbread this is your spot.

Yelp
Well it's time to compare Pacific Northwest BBQ to the Southeast as this Bama Boy made a stop at Buckshot Honey. Down South share horror stories about how bad Pacific Northwest BBQ but what I found was a mix of fact and fiction. What I found was fiction was the brisket. This was terrific brisket as it fell apart easily. It also had the outer trim of fat to add flavor to it. The mac and cheese had humongous shells and was good and cheesy. The potato salad was a redskin variety with whole potatoes in some kind of conglomeration that I really enjoyed. The slaw was pretty good too. There are 2 sauces - a mild, tangy one and a vinegar base. But here comes the fact portion of my review and comparison. I'm sorry if you are the owner and reading this. The pulled pork was dry and tough. I came in late so maybe there is some grace there but it was bad. The baked beans are vegan and I didn't enjoy them. But they were made well. They just didn't seem to have a lot of flavor. The only other thing I can say is wow - this is expensive. I'm not from the area so I don't know about the economy. But one meat and one side for over $20 or just a sandwich for over $20 is over-priced. I have eaten at so many BBQ joints across the South and Midwest (if you don't believe me, look at my Yelp reviews) and there are a multitude that I can get a combo meat plate with 2 sides and a drink for under $20. Overall, go with the brisket over the pulled pork. Some of the sides such as the potato salad and Mac and cheese are great but also be prepared to put some money down for it.

Yelp
We spontaneously decided on this place for lunch since it was pretty highly rated in the area. It's a cozy local BBQ spot that had a good amount of customers on a late Saturday afternoon. We got the 1/2 lb brisket with a side of coleslaw which we really enjoyed. The service was friendly - they even checked on us throughout our meal. It's not a huge place so seating was limited but there was also a small upstairs that had bar stools for two and a small sofa and coffee table section to seat about 4. Overall, we liked this place and would come back!

Yelp
Wow - really creative and intentional food here! Not to mention delicious and satisfying. We decided to try this spot on a visit to Snowqualmie per our brother & sister-in-law's recommendation. Everyone was very friendly. Very limited seating inside - this is a small restaurant! More seating outside in a covered patio area. The meat is all locally sourced. The owner spoke to us about how much he cares about finding good quality meats. He shared how they cater for events too sometimes. Highly recommend stopping here!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while exploring outside of Seattle. Great food, friendly service and a unique atmosphere.

Yelp
Wow I've heard about this spot for a minute but haven't taken the time. Dad and I splurged for a fancy lunch on a crappy day and it really helped lift our moods. The food was generously prepared and portions were leftover size but I was definitely planning my next visit with certain folks in the near future.

Yelp
This has become my new favorite BBQ place in the broader Seattle / Eastside area. We stopped by randomly a few weekends ago and were blown away by how good the food was. I committed to coming back on my bike, which I did yesterday, and stopped in for their Oscar Wilde bowl after riding the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. It was so delicious I started texting friends that we need to plan bike rides in the area with a stop here. Great service, friendly folks, good beer, and life-changing (no joke) BBQ that has me already making plans for my next visit.

Jeanny S.

Yelp
We came for brisket and they ran out. We ended up with best pullpork and ipa beer. The service was great

Yelp
Really good food and service. And the manager/owner is very customer-oriented. Closes at 7pm so get there early to enjoy their BBQ platters.

Yelp
We were in the mood for BBQ and stopped in at Buckshot Honey for lunch. I normally eat low carb, but saw the Mac and Cheese bowl on the menu and wanted to give it a try. It came topped with meat of your choice ( I had brisket), crumbled corn bread, and chips. It was delicious and hit the spot. I also ordered a 1/2 pound of meat to share and was glad I did. The meats are expertly smoked, and well seasoned. The service was fast and friendly, and I really liked the ambiance of the building, decor, and views out the window. All in all, a great spot.
google avatar

Chris J.

Yelp
Mac n Cheese is EXTREMELY SALTY. The BBQ is average with very little flavor. The best thing they had was the Blackberry Lemonade. Don't go in expecting too much of the place.

Jo X.

Yelp
Oh my gosh! Best barbecue EVER, and I have traveled and lived in the Carolinas too! Service was great, and it is in a great old building.
google avatar

Yelp
ooh wee!!! The food here is hopping and will order again. The owner is friendly and the restaurant itself has a great historic vibe. There are about four tables downstairs (2-4 chairs per table), bar seating, and one upstairs with a couch and side chair. I have not had any issues getting a table, typically for a party of 2. They also have different hours so may want to check if they are open before stopping by. I could have their food every day it's that good If you're planning to visit with a larger group, I recommend calling ahead to see if they can accommodate your party. They offer both dine-in and carry-out options.

Tyler C.

Yelp
Flavor was good but the food wasnt that hot and the portions were smaller than we thought. Cornbread was dry. But good atmosphere and kind servers.
google avatar

Sara C.

Yelp
Super greasy ribs: vegetables that look and tasted nasty; macaroni and cheese cold, and a bartender who didn't know what beer was local. Thank God was a little portion despite the expensive price, because we became sick after being there. Money wasted. UPDATE After experiencing a series of attacks, slander and insults from the "owner" of #Buckshot Honey, it is important to highlight his unacceptable behavior. Just looking the honest reviews with 1 or 2 stars, not the ones that have been given by your friends (4-5 stars). The supposed owner (David?), justifies his lack of professionalism and education with the excuse of being a "small local business" and claims that he is defending his employees, as well as safety and health rules (which he dont follow). It would be interesting to know the opinion of the employees, because if he treats customers this way, it is difficult to imagine how he treats his staff. I cannot understand why a tourist community as beautiful as #Snoqualmie Valley does not take measures to eliminate someone who drives away tourists as does Buckshot Honey and its owner, who dedicates himself to spying, attacking, insulting, slandering and even threaten all those who do not give 5 stars to his business. I urge all to check out the actual reviews with 1 or 2 stars and the "owner" answers/attacks, to get a more accurate picture of what happens before anyone visit that place, or if you don't give his business 5 stars after waste your money, time and health over there. #yelp.com please, check the owner's answers to the reviews.

Yelp
This is a great spot to eat! Even though I'm a vegetarian and they mostly specialize in meat and barbecue, I found some lovely options. I had the coleslaw which was really flavorful and had a great texture, amazingly seasoned baked beans, and one of the best salads I've ever had! The salad had a combination of roasted, pickled, and fresh veggies and was just incredible. They have lovely sauces, interesting sandwich options, friendly staff, and a great location. I sat outside with the dogs and they even brought the dogs water! It was a lovely experience. It's also walking distance from tons of great local shops.

Bettie S.

Yelp
Exceptionally delicious, fork tender meat. Smoked to perfection. Friendly and patient with us, answering questions about menu. The service was on point and very accommodating. Ambiance had eclectic decor which was unique. This owner/chef knows how to smoke meat. Those collard greens & corn bread "were the truth" and I am very particular about both of those sides. If you are in the area, you must give them a try.
google avatar

Yelp
We were in the area and wanted to try a new place. We decided on BBQ and found Buckshot Honey (I love the story behind the name). This place is in a historic building in Snoqualmie with parking. Yay for parking! The inside was small, but it was a beautiful day, and they had outdoor seating available. The two gentlemen working were lovely. I have eaten BBQ all over this country, and this BBQ wasn't my jam. I liked the bread choice for the pulled pork sandwich, my pork was a little dry. The potato salad is made with red potatoes, and the beans are thick with not much flavor. My husband liked the beans. The sweet tea was not the southern sweet tea I am used to. If you are a bbq fan you should try it for yourself. We all have different expectations when it comes to bbq.
google avatar

Ed A.

Yelp
Do you believe in magic, you will after eating here!!!! We had the privilege of being served the Hoggnaw and the Oscar Wilde, we will absolutely be back to try the rest...
google avatar

Katherine Y.

Yelp
Tried out this bbq spot in Snoqualmie and we will definitely be returning. This is a small place in a historical building that is almost 100 yrs old. Dave's way - great brisket with crispy edges in toasted rye bread and tender meat coupled with all the fixings. It had a great tang to the sauce and the pepper Mayo added a little kick. I got the max and cheese and slaw sides. The mac and cheese was thick and a little cold but still comforting on a Rainy day. Bf got the pulled pork which came with toasted bun and loved the home made hot sauce. He had slaw and collard greens. We got so full that we couldn't finish the collard greens. If you love collard greens and vinegar you would like these. Definitely would recommend and we are looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
If you're looking for an amazing bbq, this is it! first off we felt super safe - we were asked to show our vax cards & it wasn't crowded. The food was AMAZING! and my son loved his first brisket! the sauces were also delicious I wish I bought some to take home. As always, eating out with a toddler ain't easy! I really appreciated them accomodating us with our huge stroller, them having a kids menu & a very spacious restroom in case your babe needs changing. Definitely worth checking out!

Clarice T.

Yelp
The food here was so good! The flavor combos in the sandwiches seemed to be thoughtfully considered to offer very tasty sandwiches. The potato salad was flavorful. Cornbread perfectly made. Both the restaurant made bbq and hot sauce were great! The owner should consider bottling and selling. Very clean and cute inside.
google avatar

Martha C.

Yelp
Food was cold, service really bad And the bartender he doesn't what of the local beer is the best because he doesn't drink
google avatar

Jamey C.

Yelp
I was really impressed with the food. The service was excellent. It is everything you want in a small town restaurant. For sure worth your money!

Yelp
I attended a wedding catered by this company, and while the food was good, the amount of time it took to feed everyone was unbelievable. I am no expert at catering, but I know that it shouldn't take over two hours to feed a wedding of fewer than 150 people. If the kitchen staff has been prepping for multiple hours prior to serving dinner, they should have discovered any problems with kitchen appliances that would impact the production of dinner and made alternate arrangements in a timely manner. I can say with certainty that the reason multiple pivotal people from this wedding cried at some point was because this set back threw off the entire plan for the evening. These were tears of frustration and disappointment at the way things were going. Speeches and dances started extremely late and the bride and groom never got to cut their big cinnamon roll acting as a wedding cake. To add insult to injury, the caterer developed a huge attitude and began name calling when confronted about why everything was taking so long (something well within the right of the person paying them to do). He then only points blame at other people from the event. The unprofessional attitude was truly unacceptable. The wedding was a lovely event despite, not because of, this business.

Yelp
We were in the are after checking out the sights and came across this place. The parking lot is pretty small but there is also street parking everywhere. When we got inside - there was an fenced in area for outdoor seating and couple seats upstairs in their loft area but it's not dining. There was a seating area with a couch and chairs and a coffee table which is where we sat. You order at the counter, sit, and they bring the food. The menu is very limited. I ended up get the wings because i was not that hungry. It did not come with any sides though so I would've had to order a la carte for those. The sandwiches came with sides though so I shared with my fiancé (naturally). The wings are baked not fried. The guy at the counter told me that when I ordered. I said even better. Apparently people have a problem they are not fried. They were juicy inside and I got Buffalo flavored so nice kick. The Mac n cheese was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed the food - the ambiance can use some work for sure. It's probably better to go.

Yelp
I so wanted this place to be good, but everything about it is disappointing. Food is bland, service is rude, and the place has definite Deliverance vibes. There are much better places to visit in Snoqualmie. Edited to respond to owner's message below: There were no 17 year old girls, in training or otherwise, working at the restaurant when I visited last November. However, I think we can all guess who was rude to my group when we were there.
google avatar

Craig F.

Yelp
You know, I really like this place. The menu might be a little light on the selection but the staff is very nice, the food items on the menu have exceptional quality and the pricing is pretty much on par with other bbq places of similar quality. I have been here twice after day hikes in the Cascades with my dog and this place has a perfect place outside with a couple tables. The inside is very cozy space that is warm and inviting. The beer selection is also pretty good with all of the highlights covered. I usually tie my dog onto the light post outside, place my order, then go sit down outside and they bring the food and beer to me. The owner is very friendly and personally checks to see how everyone is doing. I am so glad to see someone like this taking the time to make sure their product is up to par and that everyone is enjoying their meal.

Yelp
BEST BBQ IN WASHINGTON! ! ! Dave & his team never disappoint, you can seriously taste the passion in every menu item, the drinks are well crafted & just as unique as the food. & the service is spot on, every single time! We stopped in by chance when visiting Snoqualmie & couldn't stop thinking about it after! We've brought just about any Family/Friend that have come to visit & even drive 40 mins to eat here for a simple date. 10/10 consistently. If you're considering, don't hesitate!

Yelp
After a recent visit to the falls, we popped in for lunch due to the great Yelp reviews. Cute name, cute old bank building and really great service. There's only a handful of small tables inside, but there's also seating available outside around back. The menu is small - a few sandwiches, wings and sides, but that made things easy. I was really excited to try Dave's Way, because I love me some brisket, but the sandwich definitely fell short for me. The brisket was definitely on the dry side and didn't have much flavor. It wasn't smokey at all. The roasted onions, black pepper mayo and provolone cheez wiz had a nice flavor profile so this sandwich had a lot of potential, but missed the mark due to the poorly executed brisket. My other issue was the the peppers were most definitely not pickled, just sliced fresh and thrown in. The hot wings were not spicy at all, so we ended up taking those home and throwing them in the air fryer with another coat of hot sauce. Things that were stellar- the house made blue cheese, pickled beets, potato salad, coleslaw and Mac & cheese. All of the sides were great. I would come back just for those!

Yelp
Whenever I see a T-shirt with Franklin BBQ, it sets a bar, or level of expectation. Chatting with the proprietor, he divulged a visit to the "Mecca" of BBQ in March 2022, as to learn and take those flavors to heart. Happy to report, he took notes. I visited late afternoon on a quiet Thursday, after the lunch rush, this normally shows the "reality " of Food & Beverage purveyors. I had the Chili, and it checks out! Paired with a local IPA. I held off on the varieties of sauce blends offered, as I prefer to taste the intended flavor profiles. Job well done!

Yelp
Nice folks and a filling meal in a beautiful building! A bit expensive for the flavors delivered and the small town setting. What I had: BEEF BRISKET SANDWICH: This big sandwich and its two sides can be split between two people. The sandwich's condiments were great and it had plenty of the brisket, but I personally would've liked the meat to have more flavor or seasoning. SWEET TEA: Refreshing! Make sure to stir often so you don't get a ton of sugar at the end. MAC & CHEESE: Personally, I found it bland and monotone. Lots of potential though! I'd love for them to make this dish more flavorful. CORN BREAD: A sweeter cornbread, not too dry. Good sized portion, served room temp.

Yelp
David has by far the BEST BBQ in the state. Hands down. I am a recovering southerner, hailing from GA and Eastern NC. I love vinegar on my vegetables and heat on my meat, with a good side of smoke. Buckshot Honey hits all the traditional marks while leaving space for creativity (Wu Tang Dinner!!) and holiday pig roasts. Even my PNW husband, who totes his BBQ sauce over to the table when we get this to-go, always finishes his meal without even needing to add it! The building is clean, and gorgeously historic. In the Sno Valley and Issaquah, we're in a bit of a good food desert. Lots of restaurants relying on tourist attractions or nostalgia. But Buckshot? We ALWAYS get a great meal. The one star review from ol Sara cracks me up. Clearly someone who has no business visiting restaurants outside Red Lobster or Olive Garden after a guided tour of the pavement walking path to the Falls. David greets us everytime we come in, we rep his bumper sticker and our kid often asks for the "squirrel restaurant"! We can't say enough about this place and what a great addition it is to our community. If you want the corporate chain schmooze and reheated items, don't come here. Trust me, we won't mind less of a line!

Yelp
Really disappointed. Bugs in my salad. And I don't mean one bug but multiple. Chewy pulled pork. Very gross for the price. Hopefully it was a Memorial Day weekend fluke. Update: private messaged me insults. I obviously didn't want to review this place poorly. I wanted to have a good time and get good food up to 4.5 star caliber. I choose to come here because it had good reviews on yelp. The food was 2 stars at best and it's expensive. I think that may only be because the owner insults anyone who doesn't review highly into trying to get them to delete review. I would seriously avoid this place at all costs. I only reviewed because I felt other people might be disappointed ordering what I got - the salad with pulled pork. I know I was disappointed with what I got. And I did find a bug on two spinach leaves and the pulled pork was cold and chewy. The salad just wasn't good. My family is in the restaurant business and always take customer reviews seriously.

Yelp
5 stars + 5 more for my favorite restaurant! I should have left a 5 star review the day it opened when we (my hubby and I) serendipitously discovered their soft opening, and my life was forever changed. I'm not kidding. 3+ years later, we still come in every week for the BEST food and even better customer service. Dave Storm created a restaurant for people who want to be better people. That's me. Ethically sourced food, sustainable dinnerware, fair employment practices, elevated ambiance...it's just so good! I'm writing this review only just now because I'm eating my hubby's "saved" Dave's Way (best brisket sando ever), and I don't even feel guilty about it. It's good for my mental health. :) Do something good for your mental health...eat at Buckshot Honey!

Yelp
After a long hike I stopped in for a late lunch. I had the beef brisket sandwich that comes with two sides. I chose cornbread and potato salad. Food came out right away. Very good service. The sandwich has this unique pepper mayo. It was all very good. I will return to try the pulled pork!

Yelp
Buckshot exceeded any expectations. At face value, it can be pricy however you get more than enough food to keep you full and happy or to share with others. We dropped by on Sunday after checking out Snoqualmie Falls. The owner was incredibly friendly and hospitable. He checked on us multiple times out on the patio. We brought our dog with us and it was pooch friendly. Dave's sandwich was full of flavor. There wasn't a bite that didn't tickle my tastebuds. We complemented our sandwich with Mac n cheese and baked beans. The baked beans could have more flavor and the Mac was on the cooler side, however we still ate them up. The owner said to call on Sundays since they tend to sell out. All the meat is from the local farmers fresh each week. You can tell the owner took great care in his business and craft. If I'm ever back in the area hiking, I'll be sure to give Buckshot another visit.

Yelp
I got the Mac Bowl, and let me tell ya it was amazing. Brisket was smoky and flavorful not to mention tender. Max and cheese was scrumptious as well! My wife got the Dave's way protein style (no bread) with no cheese. Potato salad was yummo and again brisket was definitely something you should try. Customer service was attentive and pleasant.

Yelp
Very cool bbq spot in downtown Snoqualmie short distance from the falls. Friendly staff and feel. Variety of meats and awesome Mac and cheese. We will be back. Kids loved it. Grown ups too.

Yelp
Had lunch there. Staff was very nice and friendly. The food was way overpriced and not very good. Had a brisket sandwich with side of baked beans and coleslaw. Only ate the sandwich which was so so. The beans and coleslaw were awful...took one bite of each, left the rest. Will never eat there again.

Yelp
Great place for lunch. Very nice and peaceful area. The staff was friendly and professional. It's a bit pricey in my opinion but the food was pretty good.

Yelp
We looked up nearby places after hiking Mt. Si, and this place came up. What a wonderful place! Small enough to feel like you mattered, with food that left us feeling happy and full! The bbq here is absolutely amazing! Mix in Mac and cheese and cornbread.... No words can describe how great it was after a hike!! Dave the owner and his employees are awesome! We got some history about where Dave came from right from Dave himself, and he gave us his homemade hot sauce to try as well. If you're in the area, check this place out! We for sure will next time we are anywhere near Snoqualmie!!
