Budda Kitchen & Bar

While in New York, my father in law suggested this place so my wife and I decided to give it a try for Lunch on a Saturday. We were first to arrive and had the restaurant to ourselves. The food was delicious, nice variety of food options from appetizers, to entrees and cocktails. Our server was polite and courteous. Strangely the service overall was slow but when food or drinks were brought to the table, they were delicious. The skirt streaks were huge and cost about $35 dollars. Grilled chcken with sauce options of teriyaki, garlic were quite tasty. Yuca fries and tostones were crispy. I'd revisit this place if given the chance when back in NY since the food and drinks didn't disappoint. Maybe the kitchen was just having an off day.

This place is beautiful, the food is delicious and the drink amazing love it . The music in a nice level that you could hear the person talk .the decorating is amazing . 😻 it was weird that this place is nice and good food was a little bit empty . But other than that amazing service .

Today was my first time visiting and this place deserves 5 stars across the board. Me and my finance showed up during brunch. We were seated right away. The environment itself was clean and cozy. The table was decorated nicely with glass cups. We had appetizers and drinks and even though the appetizers are a smaller portion, it was very filling. The chicken dumpling was so good I had 2 orders of them. Frozen drinks were $6 and the cup was a decent size. Each time we ordered we never had to wait too long for our food. Given the place was a bit empty since it’s Sunday the service was still great!! The staff were dressed appropriately and very professional. We definitely will return. I can’t wait to try on a weekend!

I celebrated my birthday with a group of about 20 people and everything was absolutely amazing. The Host, Lilian and our waitress, Juliany were beyond accommodating, friendly and excellent service. The food was delicious. The bartender made me the best Lychee Martini ive had in the Heights, she was super nice and everything drink was on point. A special thank you to the manager and the team for an excellent experience. I loved the restaurant and look forward to going again.

Raidy and Juliana’s service was amazing! The hookah was perfect and the drinks were made perfectly as well. Music and ambiance was also a plus if you enjoy Spanish music and dim lights :)

I was going out with my wife and we decided to go to some place up the block but it was too ratchet. We walked down the block and stumbled upon this place and I’m glad we did. The food is great. The service is amazing. The person serving us kept checking on us to make sure we were okay. Good music and calm vibes. Great atmosphere. I wish I knew the people who served us but they were great. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

A very spacious place, very well decorated... the food is simple, but with a great style and decor. The service is also excellent. The only thing is the loud music...

I really truly love this. Been here a few times and there happy hour is literally the best happy hour anywhere in the city. The drinks always taste amazing. There appetizers are great. This place is one of few I been to in yearssssss that truly can make calamari it hard to find a place that didn't over cook it or make it chewy it literally melts in your mouth. The hookah was great too. I didn't have any complaints or issues anytime I went here.

Budda Kitchen and Bar is the newest hidden gem in Washington Heights! Only been open for about 7 months but Its small and intimate setting makes it the perfect place to come by yourself or party it up with your friends. They offer a happy hour that lasts from 4-10 and has great options from $8 cocktails and $8 appetizers. I got the guava margarita, chicken tacos and the rock shrimp with Sweet Chili Sauce. The guava margarita a 10/10! The flavor wasn't too sweet and blended well with the tequila. It wasn't just a syrup bottom where I had to mix the drink, as they shook that bad boy up in the shaker and poured a juicy margarita that had me feeling like I was in the tropics. The chicken tacos were good but I'll give them a 6/10. They came in a hard shell that was too hard and some parts tasted stale. The chicken was juicy and tender and blended well with the sauces and vegetables they had in it. The Rock Shrimp was to die for! The sweet chili sauce was a great mix of sweet and spicy and with every bite you could you just wanted more. The crunch on the shrimp was perfect and it was so juicy which made it even more delectable. This place is a 9/10 for me!

Went to try this place out and we were impressed by the food, service, and music! Awesome vibe would come again!
