Buddha Beer Bar

This place has so much going for it and I really want to like it more than I do. They have 25 or so good craft brews on tap, a great selection of whiskeys, and a good wine list. The food - especially the tacos - is pretty good. The problem is the room and sometimes - okay, usually - the service. The room is big and full of hard surfaces, so it's really loud even when it isn't crowded, and there are a lot of TVs. Like, way too many TVs for one room. The table service is slow and every time I've been there there's been some kind of mistake in our order - maybe because it's so loud that the waitstaff can't hear what we're ordering. To be honest, the burgers are quite good, and so are the cajun fries, and everything else we had. With a little more attention to service, I think this place could be great! But in the meantime, I can't say I'm totally comfortable bringing family back here for lunch or dinner due to the lack of service, which is a bummer.

I came here one time a few years ago and had a beer or two. No problems. This time. Food was decent. Our waitress was inattentive to our table. Appeared to have an attitude with a guest in our table of 4. Also did not know it was custom to charge gratuity for a table of 4 especially when the service was subpar. Will not be coming back. And the place smelled.

Their tap list is amazing (attached is from june 2018)! Good craft beer place in an otherwise spotty area for options. Good options for wings if you like a variety of sauces. Typical pub fare otherwise and solid food. Their trivia night is also solid. They should bring back the lunch beer and food special though, disappointed to see it go!

This place used to have better food. Don't know what happened. Beer selection is a bit too ipa-ish for me now. Change sucks! These tacos are $9.00! Really? This is not worth the money.

A hip local bar with an ever changing list of craft beer on tap, good door and fun specials. They have trivia on Tuesdays. Bottomless brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Also a nice collection of board games. Beer can be a little on the spendy side.

Largest draft beer selection above 92nd. Great place for Drink after a visit to the Cloisters. Wings, curly fries, cubano's, Thin crispy pizza. 26 draft lines and friendly patrons!!

Great atmosphere!! Definitely come back good drinks, lots of games to play.

My go to spot for lunch break during work hours. Nice and friendly staff, lots of TVs to enjoy the news or a football game and very clean. They have an outdoor space to eat when the weather permits and they usually have great music playing. Their buffalo wings and quesadillas are the bomb!
