Tips: Pls book in advance. ♡ Must-Try : Morilla de atún! It was heavenly great! ♡ The decoration was nice, suitable for couples & family gatherings. ♡ Their sweet wine was lovely (Jerez) & Hyper Lemonade [mocktail] was refreshing What can be improved: ♡ Despite its beautiful look, the coca de quisquillas de Motril , to me, should have more taste & scent of yuzu & wasabi. I found it interesting yet prefer stronger taste in the combination. ♡ The service was nice and if the management can create the system which the waiters & waitresses have their own zones of service, the service can be smoother. And personally, my man & I preferred the kind of services that adds personal touch to it e.g. the waiters/ waitresses greet us upon leaving, have a little chat during the meal etc. Overaall, it was a good experience.

Love the decor! Had 4 different tuna dishes! The raw tuna dishes were all refreshing and tasty. The cooked tuna neck was interesting!

One of the best decorated restaurants in town. Recently opened and high reviews but food was disappointing. 80% of the menu is tuna based quite frankly i found all these dishes pretty homogeneous in taste. Service was attentive but a bit slow due to the large size of the restaurant. Booked a table in the outside terrace in late summer and was quite hot. Not every table is shaded. Price very expensive for what you get. The name bugao comes from the chef's name, hugo and the difficulty that some local people had in pronouncing his name in his native town Ceuta.

It’s hard to describe the experience on this place ,, the place is fantastic ,, the concept It’s not an ordinary thing. The food it’s tasty all done to a god level ,, can’t really choose a preferred way be all good. Dessert was great. All of them must be consumed as per unit as one. You can break down each one but doesn’t make sense until you take a whole bite ,, a little pricy but it worth it. I have been to great places but this restaurant is on another level. The service it’s second to none. Try it at least once I’ll come back regardless ,, it’s a safe bet to impress anybody.

I was surprised for an established restaurant like this one, no one spoke fluent English. I pointed each item on the menu to order directly but the restaurant manager could still mess up our orders three times. When I asked him to bring me the menu again so we could confirm the order, he walked away and simply said he would just bring over the starters one by one until he made it right. It was very passive aggressive and ruined our dining experience. Not to mention he had no respect for what they’re serving and cared nothing about food waste. When he finally brought over the right dish, he literally said, “It’s such a small portion I thought you would have never ordered this.” which sounded like a personal attack. In the end, he said he added ‘one more piece’ of black truffle to the plate as a good gesture. Pretentious and overwhelmingly cheap….. It’s also obvious that the restaurant didn’t have experiences in serving international guests and any specific requests would mess up their SOP. Food is not that good that would make you want to accept all the chaos. It is very disappointing as we really looked forward to trying this place.

Very, very, unimpressed. Decor is nice. But that’s about all I can say on a positive note. Service is terrible. Slow is an understatement But the attitude is worse than the response time, to the point of arrogant and condescending. The food is unimpressive. Some plates are totally underwhelming. Some are tiny and others, in comparison are huge. Makes NO SENSE. Underwhelming. Unimpressive and just not even worth the space it occupies.
