The Best AYCE Restaurants In LA - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Despite the name, this place is definitely not a hut —and there’s a lot more than just bulgogi on the menu. Both the AYCE tiers at $39 and $52 include beef, pork, chicken, and seafood, and the spread also comes with corn cheese, ssam, and cinnamon-sugar pineapple. You can even tack on extras like spicy tofu stew and steamed egg for $4. It gets loud during peak dinner hours, so you might not catch what your friend said from across the table, but at least you can keep the soju pours going. $39 per person for the deluxe menu and $52 per person for the premium menu" - garrett snyder, brant cox, cathy park, sylvio martins

Where To Meet Up With Coworkers That Isn’t A Zoom Call

"Bulgogi Hut is maybe the perfect AYCE KBBQ spot of the moment - somehow, it’s able to maintain a party-like atmosphere without anyone getting too close to one another. All of the tables at this Ktown spot are sectioned off by giant fiberglass partitions, the air is properly smoky, plates of meat arrive almost overflowing, and the waitstaff is kind, and eager to help you make your next selection. If you’re not in the mood for grilling, they have some excellent pre-made options, like golden-brown chicken wings (which come with a medley of sauces), Spam fried rice, and galbi bento boxes filled to the brim with tender, glazed meats alongside rice, japchae, and banchan. From the AYCE KBBQ part of the menu, you pretty much can’t go wrong - the deluxe option is only $26, and you and your coworker will have your choice of rib fingers, marinated chicken, black angus beef brisket, and of course, the titular bulgogi - all of which pair really well with a tall glass of beer and discussing theories about whether or not you’ll ever return to the office." - kat hong

I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I walked in feeling pretty nervous since I have zero cooking skills and barely any knowledge of flavor profiles. But once I shared that with our waitress, Sandra, she immediately stepped in and guided me through everything. Thanks to her, I was able to relax, enjoy the process, and even learn a lot along the way. She was incredible, and I’d definitely request her for any future visits. On top of that, the food was absolutely amazing!

I had been here years prior, but coming back again with my sister and niece, it was pretty good. The server was friendly, always checking up on each table. Definitely would recommend for large groups or even a date. Depending on the day, there are times when the line is long to go in.

For my first time going to KBBQ, I wasn't sure what to expect, but the environment was great and the staff were very respectful and patient with us, making sure we had everythijg we needed. The food options were delicious, I just wish I could've tried the Sojuice!

Google
I went solo(yes you can go alone) at noon time for Korean bbq. Ruby the waitress was very kind and even helped cook some of the meat. I thought it was a great experience if you are going alone!

My first time here in Bulgogi Hut,It was a great experience delicious food, delicious sides and also very good service from Jonathan he was really attentive he kept going back and fourth to check on us and filled up our satisfaction. However the place was a bit dark for our preference but overall really good will definitely come back when I’m in LA again! 😊

The staff is super attentive and accommodating. I've been there on nights with just friends. So adult only and it's been a blast. I've also been there with family, and it's been great ( small children).

Google
First time here and it didn’t disappoint! The meat quality was solid, and they were quick with refills. Service was smooth and consistent the whole time. Michael helped us out, super cool and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely a good spot for KBBQ if you’re in the area

Google
Bordering high moderate-expensive in pricing but there's free parking to go with it. Large array of options with reasonable portions(this is an AYCE, you can always order more). The vibe is warm and slow for the most part. The servers are great people.

Yelp
the food here was so good and tasty! I haven't been to this location in years because I don't live in socal anymore & I wanted to bring my bf here to try. The meats were marinated very well and was so delicious. I wanted to shout out our server Arrah because was so attentive and super professional. love her! Arrah and the entire staff were so efficient in getting our orders to us/grill changed in SECONDS. amazing service and thank you (:

Yelp
Sandra at Bulgogi Hut made todays experience the best one we've had there. Incredibly attentive and friendly and a great help at the cooking, which I've never had done at an AYCE KBBQ spot. The meat selection is simple but all of them tasty and of quality. Highly recommend the red wine pork!
google avatar

Yelp
Yum! The Bulgogi Hut was amazing, Sandra was an incredible server. She helped us cook our meats, she had great suggestions for pairings, and she was very quick with everything. This was my first time here and I definitely plan to come back. My favorite meat was the Deluxe Steak and the Brisket but I also really enjoyed the Shrimp and marinated chicken if you're looking for non red meat options.

Yelp
Been here several times since my last review but today was especially worth mentioning because it was mine and my boyfriend's first time having Sandra as a server and she was AMAZING!!! she cooked all the meat for us and even gave us tips on what would taste better. she was super attentive despite how many other tables she was serving. definitely made our dining experience much better 10/10

Yelp
Bulgogi Hut did not disappoint! Food was and service was on point. Michael hooked it up and made sure we were good the whole time. Good energy, good food, and good people. Definitely coming back with the crew.

Yelp
Awesome service and good vibes all around. The food was great, and everything came out fast. Michael was our server and he made sure we had what we needed without even having to ask. Super chill and professional. Definitely recommend if you're looking for great KBBQ and good service.

Yelp
Updating my review with a MASSIVE shoutout to our server today. Sandra!!!! Oh my god Sandra not only recommended some amazing new dishes to us, she was so hands on during our experience and cooked it for us while juggling 4 other tables. My husband and I have been here probably 30+ times in the last year but haven't had her as our server... until today... which became the best experience we've really ever had here. I love Sandra and will be back again!!!!

Yelp
There are two sets to choose from. My 5 friends and I got the menu option closer to $40 which is the base/cheaper one. There weren't many items to choose from when ordering. Steamed egg was an additional $4 ea which is crazy! We weren't particularly blown away by anything on the menu, it was pretty standard meat quality. However, the steak which is limit 1 pp is pretty good. But we won't be coming back here nor would we recommend this place. The price is crazy given the limited options on the menu as far as meats and non-meat options go. Service was okay too, we had to keep re-requesting things with our server. But later that night + early morning a lot of us had pretty upset stomachs :/ didn't get any chicken btw so don't know what happened there. For $40 I would expect the menu and quality to be on par with other ayce kbbq spots around LA and southbay.

Arthur A.

Yelp
Honestly, this place was a letdown. The meat was super mid, nothing had flavor, and the sauces tasted weird--like they just mixed ketchup with soy sauce and called it a day. For what they charge, you'd expect way better quality. Totally overpriced for what you get. Definitely won't be coming back. Save your money and hit up a better KBBQ spot.

R C.

Yelp
Most recent visit in July 2025 was not quite as good as previous experiences. You pay for premium but a lot of the premium cuts are not marinated - they are entirely Bland. The ribeye we got literally didn't even have any salt on it. This wouldn't be a problem if they provided tasty sauces but unfortunately their sauces are quite underwhelming. so you end up ordering less Premium but marinated Cuts anyway. I'm not sure I'll come back. I cannot recommend this place anymore.

Yelp
Food was standard KBBQ fare, and very delicious. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but if in doubt, don't hesitate to ask your server for a recommendation. Price was fair for what it was. The service was fairly decent and timely and friendly. Good atmosphere and vibes, was not too crowded at all, very spacious. If your stomach's craving kbbq but leaning towards the AYCE side of things, fairly solid spot for it.

Yelp
First time trying Korean BBQ and Sandra made the experience effortless and delicious. She helped us with cooking the meats and sent over her favorites, which are now ours! We drove from the Coachella Valley and next time we come to LA we will definitely stop by!

Rene J.

Yelp
The food was delicious. I think it's because I didn't cook it myself but our server SANDRA did all the work for us. I recommend when coming to ask for Sandra.

Yelp
I've been coming to Bulgogi Hut for well over 10 years now-loooong before the prices have climbed to where they are. Bit pricey, but nostalgia, service quality, & their undefeated spicy squid keeps me coming back! Our group chose the premium option for AYCE, which was $52 per person. We opted for this despite the sticker shock because I reaaalllyy wanted the spicy squid--nobody does it quite like Bulgogi Hut! I do miss when it was in little baby octopus form, now it's served in pre-cut strips, but the marinade is the same! Our server, Sandra, was incredibly attentive and exhibited stellar customer service skills! She also provided great recommendations for the meat-sequence order so we could get our money's worth. Also, she was really great about keeping an eye on our table (and from what I observed, all her other tables) and stepping in to cook/swap our grill/check in. Usually I'm the BBQ-er in charge, but after a long day it was nice to be relieved of cooking duties and just enjoy the food. Thank you Sandra! In terms of meat quality, it's pretty good & they've got a decent selection. Unless you're a meat connoisseur (which none of my group identifies as), you wouldn't really be able to tell how the premium meats differ from each other. If you're wanting to get your money's worth & just want a typical AYCE, the deluxe option would serve you fine. The deluxe already has the regulars- brisket, bulgogi, even steak. The only reason I get premium every time I come is the spicy squid, so unless you're craving that, I'd say opt for the deluxe! Overall, because of the price, I would have rated this experience as a 3. I feel that as a patron of many years not much has evolved with the quality of the food (as in it's always been good, but I don't see any significant change resulting in the drastic price increase over the years). However, I raised my rating to a 4 because of the excellent customer service we received from Sandra, which made it feel like a premium experience! For parking, there's the street, but if that's full, the lot next door is available as well. Overall, still a great KBBQ spot, though pricey. At least service is great!

Yelp
Ok let me start off by saying the food is ok. A little pricey. They call it all you can eat, but they are shady. I didn't notice but my wife noticed after them bringing a couple plates they slowed the grill down. Then we figured they do this so you won't eat fast and keep asking for meat. After it was slowed we noticed they kept changing the grill screen. Hello we are not stupid we noticed they were just doing this to us. My wife asked me I told her when they put a new screen it's cold so it will take longer to cook. Don't call it all you can eat when you don't want people to eat all they can eat. Will be ever go there NO. We love Korea bbq and will try other places but will not go there again.

Yelp
The best Korean BBQ! Quality of meat and service was perfect!! Our waiter Marvin was great! 15/10 . This place is a must.

Yelp
Ms. Sandra Lee was amazing! She served everyone well and even prepped/ cooked the meat for us. Very attentive and kind Will come back again :)

Yelp
Okay so I've been hear multiple times. This is my go to happy hour ayce spot. But like this was the first time I was blown away with service, and I have to give credit where credit is due. The food is always good, but I always order the same thing. Sandra, our server, was excellent and made the food and time amazing. . She made great recommendations, let me know when I needed to cook the meat longer, pretty much cooked the meat for us, and was very attentive with water and refilling sides without needing to ask (I ate a lot of kimchi). Some pointers Sandra gave us. Start with beef before heading to pork. Mix the beef brisket with the beef belly (honestly impeccable suggestion that made the beef more flavorful). Fry that pork jowl crispy like bacon. I always love this place on a night out, but like now I must ask for Sandra because I fear I learned so much, including that I'm not a pro of cooking kbbq.
google avatar

Yelp
5 Stars Went out with the girls for some AYCE KBBQ and had an amazing time! The meat selection was top-notch--everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepped perfectly. Huge shoutout to our server Sandra, who was absolutely amazing. She was super attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed the whole night. Great vibes, great food, and even better service. Definitely coming back!
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
This spot is a great deal for AYCE kbbq. But stick with the bulgogi, that was by far the most delicious meat option. Service was top notch as our waitress was very attentive. Fun vibe/spot to come with friends or family!
google avatar

Theresa C.

Yelp
Was craving brisket and came here because another ayce bbq place had a two hour wait. Sooo glad we did! We were seated quickly and got started on the $36 Deluxe menu. They had the best beef brisket and belly I've had in a while, even compared to the more expensive ayce places. Definitely get those, special steak (a seasoned tri-tip), and the pork jowl! Banchan was pretty standard, but they had rice paper and weren't stingy about it. Our server was Sandra and she provided the best service we've ever received. What a rock star! This place is huge and would be great for larger parties. Will definitely be back with more people!
google avatar

Cristina R.

Yelp
We did not had to wait in line service was amazing our waitress was Sandra she definitely made my experience 100% she even help us cook our food check on us very often but not overwhelming I haven't been here in a wile for sure I'm coming back and we will be asking for Sandra to help us out. Meet was juice and soft all the food was amazing Thank you Sandra for the wonderful experience this evening

Yelp
Great tasty food and good service. Ambiance was fair overall it is a plus and I would go back again

Yelp
I came here with a group of friends for a late weekend lunch and it wasn't too busy inside. We had to wait maybe 10 mins for our table. We got the deluxe AYCE option which is the cheaper between the two options (deluxe vs premium). They allow you to order 3 meat options per round. We got the beef bulgogi, steak, brisket, and beef belly. We also got the pork jowl, cheesy corn, pineapple, and the veggies. Our favorite meat options were the beef brisket, steak, and pork jowl. They tasted really good. The bulgogi was good but wasn't good enough to keep ordering round after round. The cheesy corn and pineapple were really good too. Overall the experience at this restaurant was okay. Nothing bad but also nothing amazing. It wasn't super busy, but the service was still a bit slow. Also for the price point of the meal, we were disappointed to see that they didn't offer kimchi fried rice and steamed egg or stew with the AYCE (it's additional cost for the deluxe). There are other establishments in the neighborhood that provide these sides at the same price point. However, they do have a validated parking lot.
google avatar

Carlita B.

Yelp
love bulgogi hut! they have a great selection of meats, the menu is easy to understand, the food tastes amazing, and the workers are super friendly, helpful, and quick! i typically get the bulgogi, brisket, and pork belly. for sides they offer kimchi, cucumber kimchi, noodles,
google avatar

Renee C.

Yelp
Love bulgogi hut i go here whenever im willing to spend a lil more $$ on kbbq bc it is on the pricer side. the parking is just so convenient for being in this area, theres street parking and a lot which they validate for. They have a fair variety of meat but whats worth it is all the sides, sauces are always full, service is usually very good (sometimes its VERY busy and therefore slower) and the quality of meat. They always refill my water and change the grill fast. Just b aware it may be very busy on weekends with long wait times !

Stephen A.

Yelp
A friend of mine brought me to this place a few years ago and I've been hooked ever since! I usually do the happy hour AYCE menu because I'm pretty simple with my kbbq meat choices (beef belly, pork belly, bulgogi, etc) so it's perfect for me. I especially love to order some onions to grill after the meat because they get such a good flavor to them as well. The ban Chan is superb here and I really like how it includes rice and glass noodles! The homemade bulgogi sauce they leave on the table is to die for and I always buy extra to take home. And this is a great place for solo dining as well since you can do half orders! The service is always wonderful and helpful. Fun place to come with friends or a solo lunch. Just don't fill up on a pitcher of beer until you know you're done ordering more food
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty good ayce and priced pretty reasonably. Lots of choices of meats and decent service. I like they had TVs throughout so you can eat and watch the game. Parking lot is in the back off the side street.
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday around 8:30 pm. There were open street meters within a block away that we were able to park at but apparently they have free parking for customers in the back as well. There was a small, few minute wait but a spacious waiting area with seats and tables and tarp protection from the wind and street. The host was friendly enough, she took my name and number down but just called out my name when our table was ready. Our server was also somewhat friendly, he seemed tired since it was the end of the night and there were still busy and loud groups of people so it didn't bother me too much. He checked on us a good amount of times. There were also many other employees delivering the food and replacing the grill when it got dirty. The price is pretty good for ayce Korean bbq. I don't think it's the most authentic (or best I've ever had) but it's definitely a good deal. The meat was flavorful enough and there were a decent amount of choices for the deluxe menu. We mostly stuck with beef options and got a few other sides like the pineapple (which I scraped the cinnamon off of), corn cheese, oyster mushrooms, etc. we had to ask for kimchi because they didn't provide it with the banchan (and it didn't seem to be on the menu). The kimchi was a little sweet and sort of bland but not bad. I liked the raw garlic, pickled onions, rice paper wrap, thinly sliced radish, and soybean paste to eat with the food. The bulgogi was fine but we really liked the deluxe steak (1 order per person), the beef brisket, and the beef belly. I think this is a good option if you're new to Korean bbq and want to get a feel because of their price and it's still very decent. It's definitely a popular spot so I'd recommend going during non busy hours like during the week.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
We arrived with last call in an hour and 15 minutes. Our group of 6 got the deluxe which has your basic beef, chicken, and pork options for $39 per person. There is extra charge for spicy tofu and soy bean soup, steamed egg, and kimchi fried rice ($4 each) They gave us a kimchi fried rice on the house which was very yummy. Our server Sandra was the best! She was very attentive to our table and rapidly refilling our sides as we housed them down at record speed. This place has the servers cooking our food for us so we didn't have to do anything besides eat. Not sure if it was because it was a Monday & we came pretty late but I liked how we didn't have to scream over each other to have a conversation. Overall the service and vibes were really good, especially Sandra but I thought the meat was a little dry and had to drown it in sauce.
google avatar

Raven D.

Yelp
Sandra was amazing. She brought us everything we needed without us even asking, had the best energy, and made the whole experience even better. Been here 8 years and honestly she should work here forever (but I get it lol). Thank you Sandra!

Yelp
By far the best Korean BBQ, this place never disappoints been coming here for years, I don't know why I didn't write a review before. My daughter just came back from her service and she wanted to come here first before anywhere else. This will always be one of our favorite spot. Sandra our server for today was amazing she kept an eye for everything there was no need to ask, she will come to check up on our table to bring more meat, she even when out of her way to turn our meat over.. Definitely, this is the place to come with family and friends. Thank you for the amazing service.
google avatar

Ana R.

Yelp
The waitress was the best part but that fact that the manager wanted me to pay 40 because I literally didn't eat a little bit of meat left it's crazy
google avatar

Yelp
Serbice n Food awesome but prices has gone up but will still higly recommend ! You can reserve thru yelp n he k the line cuz simetimes its a 30 min wait
google avatar

Yelp
I've been coming here for the last few years and every time I visit ktown, I almost always have to stop here. Kbbq is getting so expensive these days and I find that the quality and the service of this place never disappoints at its price point. They're also so generous with the banchan and it's amongst the best I've had. If you're looking for kbbq that is consistent in quality and service, definitely come here.
google avatar

Suhani P.

Yelp
Great KBBQ spot! We came here on a Sunday afternoon and were seated pretty quickly since we beat the rush. They don't have a huge menu like other places do, but they offer really good options on their menu. We had a larger group and it was a bit annoying that we were still limited to 3 meats at a time since we were going through it pretty quickly. Knocking one star because our server was just plain rude. She would walk away as we were still talking to her and she was visibly annoyed anytime we asked her to bring something she forgot. Otherwise, great spot!

Mary S.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! Our server, Arrah, was amazing. She made sure we tried all the best meats. We almost went home without trying the house specials, but she was so sweet to suggest them before we got too full. My absolute favorite was the Flower Steak...unbelievably wonderful.
google avatar

Ashly V.

Yelp
This location is a k town staple, since the castle days. Fast seating and they validate parking! I recommend the corn cheese

Sandra L.

Yelp
Michelle and Alberto was the best everything came fast cheese sauce mushroom is a must for the sides with corn cheese got the premium menu with 21 age and flower steak always first slowly get to the spicy beef belly and marinated galbi and marinated ribs fingers~ then moving on to the pork my favorite would be the garlic pork belly and jowls ! then finally to the pineapple ~~~ good digestion then finish off with a spicy tofu soup good meal good meal
google avatar

Mi L.

Yelp
Honestly, this place was one of my favorite places to go and eat. But It's just annoying that sometimes you will have a group of 7 people and it's uncomfortable to cook and eat squeezed in, you ask management for two grill table and they're not willing to give you a bigger table because you have to have just one more person for that but other days I end up going with less people and get a bigger table, it's a hit or miss with these managers. The waiters are way more willing to help than the managers. Food is good if you do the higher priced menu and you get a waiter that knows what to recommend and keeps the meat coming, you know to leave a great tip then.

Yelp
Decided to be brave on a Thurs evening and make the drive from LB to DTLA to try this place. The hour drive DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Thankfully their was no wait, not sure if it was just a slow night since this place came recommended by multiple people. Everything was great from the serving size of the meats and sides they gave, along with the customer service. They have some street parking and also have parking lot that looks like it belongs to the bank only but restaurant validates. My new fav Korean BBQ spot
google avatar

Yelp
It's Korean BBQ. What more can I say than for you to sport your favorite sweat pants and get ready to have a feast at $51. That noted, I should premise this review by saying that all I can vouch for is the Kimchi Spam Fried Rice, which was my entree as everyone else devoured all sorts of carnivorous servings grilling before our very eyes. Why, you might wonder, would I go to an AYCE Korean BBQ spot, if not to partake in the AYCE tradition? Simple--I have never been a fan of AYCE anything; I get full off one plate and it proves a waste of money. I came here for a buddy's graduation dinner. Everyone at the table was busy eating and laughing off of full glasses of Sapporo Beer as I perused the menu briefly before going with the Kimchi Spam Fried Rice. I placed my order and had my food served in less than fifteen minutes; the service is efficient at Bulgogi Hut, quickly tending to a party of eleven and any late-comers. As for the Kimchi Spam Fried Rice... I love the presentation of this dish. Served in a cast iron skillet fresh off the stove, the kimchi-spam-infused rice is continuously sizzling throughout one's meal. The flavor? All there. I love Spam (childhood nostalgia, for you) and combined with the kimchi fried rice sitting atop a gargantuan egg omelette, it's a delectable and somewhat indulgent dish. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to venture outside Bulgogi Hut's AYCE deal. Bulgogi Hut manages to hold its own among the competitive, AYCE Korean BBQ scene in K-Town. Come for Korean BBQ and stay to split the Kimchi Spam Fried Rice with the table--you'll be satisfied all-around.

Yelp
Sandra helped us today, she was amazing!!! She provided my family great service and was very attentive with everything. She frequently would check in on us. I truly appreciate it! Food was great orders would come quick.

Yelp
My son treated me to dinner here and let me just say it was a good night. The staff was polite and welcoming. The place was extremely clean and the smell of meat cooking on the grill was a pleasant aroma. This place is all you can eat so you should come hungry. We had the premium menu and were allowed the choice of any three meats at a time. We ordered all the sides, which are also all you can eat. I enjoyed the macaroni salad and garden salad as well as the white rice and all the sauces. The garlic chicken, the Louisiana sausage and the Bulgogi were my favorite meats. Everything was delicious and my only complaint has nothing to do with food. I forgot to say that when I arrived at the restaurant I had to use the restroom and it was so clean. They also changed the grill frequently and gave us clean grills in between each set of meats. The service was superb. Now to the complaint. I just wish they had more comfortable seating, the chairs were so hard for my backside. New chairs or more booths is my suggestion but I will return. Thanks again for great food and good service.

Yelp
My server Jenny was awesome. She suggested some great cuts of meat and was totally on point!

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday evening. It's very self explanatory. You select the meats you wanna grill, your order yourbadd ons ans they bring you whatever you ask for. All of this for 36 dollars a person. We had the garlic chicken, the bulgogi steak, the cinnamon pineapple, the cheese with corn and the shitake mushrooms. Steak and chicken were chewy. Pineapple is canned but still delicious. You cook it to your preference and season it as you wish. There is more than enough food for all. The waitstaff was very quick to whisk away empty plates and refill water. Parking is 10 dollars at the lot and they do validate.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait! We were greeted and seated right away. The servers introduced themselves and served us water and side dishes while we decide what we wanted to chose Deluxe was $36 Premium was $48 We decided to get deluxe. The servers were amazing for checking up on us and the food was so good I love the brisket and cheese sauce!! They replaced our grills after each time we cooked and refilled our side dishes. They also offer FREE and LOTS of parking next to the bank by getting it validated!

Yelp
LOVED BULGOGI HUT! Had an incredible AYCE menu and absolutely put it down with brisket, bulgogi, beef belly, squid, shrimp, ribeye and galbi. Multiple plates of each. Michael was our amazing server who ensured our banchan was filled and was very attentive and answered all our questions. Will definitely be coming back.
