"A San Diego staple since the early 1970s, this classic sports bar has televisions throughout its dining areas and offers happy hour specials and game day deals. Where to Eat Steak in San Diego

"Bully’s is a true stalwart in San Diego’s restaurant scene—it’s been open since 1967 and is still going strong. The interior is mix of cocktail lounge and sports bar and the extensive menu offers a good variety of meat dishes, like the filet mignon, top sirloin, prime rib, rib eye steaks, and porterhouse steaks in cuts ranging from 8 oz. to 38 oz." - Jackie Bryant

Bully’s East delivers on its legacy: generous portions of expertly prepared prime rib, attentive service, and a great atmosphere. the prime rib are very tender and juicy. we have no complaints and will surely come back again if we have the chance to. FYI they do have a take away Prime rib 8lb for $185 (if i remember correctly) which i think its great for home parties

You'll love it! We had our friends birthday party there. The staff worked with us and gave us a small room. They let us come in early to decorate. The checks were individually divided by each guest request. The prime rib dip sandwich melted in our mouths and the wedge salad was excellent. All 10 of us enjoyed our food. Our waiter Jacob was super efficient.

A Disappointing Lunch at Bully's East Our recent lunch experience at Bully's East left much to be desired, particularly concerning the food quality and presentation, both of which were poor. The most egregious offender was the prime rib melt, which was, without a doubt, the worst I've ever had. It arrived on plain white bread – unseasoned, untoasted, and utterly uninspired. The "prime rib" itself resembled thin-sliced lunch meat, completely lacking the texture and flavor common in a prime rib sandwich. To add to the disappointment, the "caramelized onions" were clearly not caramelized at all, tasting flat and without flavor. Finally, the horseradish sauce, which tasted overwhelmingly of mayonnaise, was served in a minuscule portion, barely enough for a bite or two. And there was no au jus for dipping. My side salad, however, was tasty, fresh and ample. The service was average and the decor is dark and confining. Combined with this poor food quality experience, I cannot recommend Bully's East.

I've been here a couple of times, and it has been impressive each time. The primerib meatballs and their sauce A+. The 4 primerib bones were solid A+. The service is good, and any of the bodies walking around will assist you. B+.

We went early for the happy hour menu. Loved our corner booth. Quiet and nice for the four of us. Jacob took good care of us. Food and drinks good and plenty to choose from. Only my second time there. First for others. We'll be back soon for Prime rib.

Google
They definitely held up to their claim to having the best prime rib in San Diego! All three of us really enjoyed our perfectly prepared meals. Drinks were ice cold and service was excellent! Thank you for making this meal enjoyable.

Celebrated a friend's wedding dinner. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was good. I ordered the steak and enchiladas plate which came with a salad. The salad was fresh, the steak was delicious, but the enchiladas were a total fail. The enchiladas were hard and not really enchiladas; they were more like rolled tacos. If it wasn't for the enchiladas I would have given 5 stars. All in all it was a good place and a good experience.

Google
Hosted Dads 90th birthday dinner. They worked w us to create a menu for the event. Room size was good for the 25 people who attended. Server was on point and food was good and timely. Thanks Bully’s for helping our family celebrate Dads big B day party!

Yelp
Our neighbors highly recommended Bully's and we enjoyed our first visit! We made it in time for one happy hour round and my dirty martini was very good, especially for $7. Lots off HH taco options i want to try but we didn't want to spoil our appetite for steak tonight.... My husband had prime rib and I had a burger and we both thought it was very good and perfectly cooked. The sides + salad/soup that come with everything will leave you stuffed!! Would try the Mac and cheese next time. Victoria was a great server and hostess and food runners were super nice.

Yelp
Hi Bully's Ownership/Management, My family and I recently had a very disappointing experience with my family of five (all adults) at Bully's East for Mother's Day. We've been coming to Bully's since it opened in the early 70s, and this recent visit was, unfortunately, the worst we've ever had at any restaurant. We were served by "Angelique," who was friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed since the restaurant was understaffed. We ordered three Bloody Marys, an iced tea, and a Coke. Neither the Coke nor the iced tea arrived, but they were still on the bill. We also ordered Eggs Benedict, and one order was not to have arugula. Angelique came to our table a few minutes later to explain that the arugula was mistakenly added to the order and that the kitchen was making a correction. All the other items were ready, but she was holding them until the order without arugula was fixed. About five minutes later, all the orders, except the one that was being remade, were brought to our table. They were cold and looked like they had been sitting out for a while. The hollandaise sauce was coagulating and didn't look appetizing. My mother's food was so cold that she even took the plate back to the kitchen and warmed it up in the microwave (she was getting impatient). Five minutes later, the correct order arrived, My mother had another Bloody Mary, and Angelique slammed the drink on the table when she delivered it. In summary, our dining experience was a complete disaster, and we'll definitely be thinking twice before going back. Further, I tried twice to contact Bully's management regarding our experience and never heard back from them.

Yelp
This was our first time at Bully's. It definitely has the old world pub charm. With shiny wood walls and rich leather banquets, you walk in and feel as if you are back in the pubs of years ago. Our service was wonderful. The ice tea glasses were refilled often. The food came out a bit too fast however. It is nice to be able to finish the starter before the next course is brought out. The onion soup was good, but lacking in cheese and the broth was a bit spicy. The side salads were a nice size portion and were very fresh. My husband had the Bully Burger. The side of asparagus was stringy and not quite cooked enough. The burger was very good, but the bun fell apart. I had the pub burger. My bun also fell apart and I resorted to eating the rest of the burger with a fork and knife. The mud pie was tasty, but pretty melted when we received it. The crust was tasty, but it was so hard that we needed a sharp knife to cut it. Overall, we liked Bully's. We had a nice time and were not pressured to leave. We hope to try it again and try some other choices.

Yelp
On the quest for better prime rib, this place seemed to be recommended during my research. They do serve a beefy flavored prime rib. Would have been nicer to have more fat in the cut but it was good. Filippi used to be the leading go getter but over time their cut was also less fatty/more lean and was more chewy despite ordering medium rare. This place has the better prime rib experience so far. Time will tell on consistency as I only came here once but I would be open to trying again for my next prime rib dining cravings. Their au jus was very good too. I dunked each prime rib cut into it, too good. I also enjoyed their salad, much more than the salad offered from Filippi. Location is tucked away from the main areas but eventually I found it.

Yelp
The service, ambiance and food are on point here! From the moment I entered the employees were welcoming and friendly. Our server was super sweet and all of the flavors in the food were to die for. The blackened prime rib is my all time favorite and paired with the linguini is so special. I would definitely return for those artichoke hearts each time, they are so citrusy, crispy and delicious. They got a decent happy hour here as well with bites and drinks which we were pleased with. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Best dirty martinis in San Diego. Well One of the best. Food is hit or miss as is the service. But we appreciate the tables being spaced out and the food portions are pretty descent for the price.

Yelp
Over all okay. Service was okay. A bit rushed and no real interaction. Very "sports bar" like, which this pace is. The atmos was okay. Noting great but pleasant. We asked for quiet table and got one so that was great. The fuel mignon Wellington was superb. The prime rib was a bit fatty but tasted great. The mashed potatoes were average at best and the asparagus was hamered. Charred to within an in b of its life. Nearly inedible. The onion soup was good but no crostini and not worth the extra $2.50. The clam chowder was very tasty. Overal okay. $200 for ok is, well... not okay.

Yelp
Always a great time here! Food is consistently good and service is great! On our most recent visit, Valentine's Day, place was packed. We sat in the bar area which is usually our go to spot. Enjoyed the happy hour dirty martinis....YUM!!!! Food was good although had to send my filet back as we asked for medium and it was served medium rare. Overall, great place, wonderful staff and good food!

Yelp
It's been a while since we've been to Bully's East. (Like almost 20yrs lol old souls!) Here Known for thier prime rib and steak dinners. Parking is a little tricky, right after the light turn into the lot and it goes around back like a circle. Parking is limited, if you continue straight, go to the right for additional parking. Stairs and access ramp. It's been remodeled and it's very pub like with the restaurant. Looks like a great bar area, lots of sports TV and drinks, beers, wine variety. Great for groups and parties. Great for intimate lunch and dinner. Now onwards why 5 stars. We value our reviews really on service being number 1 and we go from there. Service was phenomenal, and attentive. Our lucky day with Rachel greeted us promptly, had our order correct and had very good recommendations. She also carries a great vibe and conversation. To be honest she was the 5th star given for us to come back again and enjoy the atmosphere. We ordered prime rib, filet mignon with the sides and appetizer which really could have been a dessert it was outstanding. Portions are solid for anyone to get thier fill, the menu is full of options so I feel if parents wanted to bring thier littles they could....however I don't recommend just in our own sanity...we just get it. Bathrooms are clean, restaurant is clean. Great service, great food, please enjoy yelpers!! Stepping image

Yelp
Prime rib is one of the best around and is consistently good - best choice in my opinion! I also love good desserts! Anna was our server this last time. She was super attentive, got our meals out to us quickly and gave great service. It was nice to see the bathrooms had been updated since the last time we were there as well!

Yelp
Found this place while searching for prime rib. Not too sure what to make of it... fancy? Sports Bar? Vintage? Boston? Still prime rib so had to try it out. Went 16 oz which runs around $60 but does come with soup/salad and side. Also had Salmon, NY strip, and 8 oz cut. Strip came out cooked perfectly. Salmon was better than we expected. Prime rib was waaaaay over cooked and my knife was super hot as our plates were definitely sitting under a heating lamp for a while. One ordered medium other medium rare. Came out well done and medium well. I'm not a fan of au jus, but I HAD to use it with the pieces as they were overcooked. My pictures speak for themselves. Service was pretty good and our waitress was spot on with drinks. For $225 for four people I would expect a little higher standards. Overall not horrible spot, but don't think I'll be back here anytime soon.

Yelp
It was a rare rainy and cold day in San Diego and I was looking for a place to cozy up to the bar, order a couple drinks and a little food. Bully's East fit perfectly. I came in Friday afternoon around 5 and the bar was fairly full, but I was able to score a seat at their "low bar" towards the end. After looking at the copious amounts of drinks on the various menus, I settled on a Guinness on draft. Their Happy Hour is M-F 4-6 and has a good selection of food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Today though I was craving something more comforting and asked about the soups. Their clam chowder sounded great, and it was! A bowl filled me up like a light meal. Creamy with lots of clams and potatoes. The atmosphere was very cozy and semi-dim, but not scary dark. Banquettes line the walls of the bar area. Service was quick and friendly. Someone next to me got the prime rib and it all came out quickly and looked amazing. I'll come back to try that when I'm hungrier. Overall I recommend this place as a good solid choice for food, drinks and cozy atmosphere; and for value on the happy hour menu.

Yelp
Food: The food is just mid. The Pazole and Onion Soup were good. But... unfortunately... the mashed potatoes were bland, they didn't ask how my daughter wanted her burger cooked, the halibut was dry, the roll was burnt, the ahi was unflavored and the prime rib linguini was full of fat. In addition, it took multiple asks for refills of drinks and water. I know it's a steakhouse, so maybe we should have gotten steaks but... anything else on the menu is just mid. Atmosphere: The group room we were in is dark and hard to see... plus people keep coming and hanging out in the doorway. It's not bad as far as the entire scene, just a little dark. Service: Its a Saturday night, I get it. Probably busy. But we waited a long time for our orders, refills, everything. If it's a big group, I would assume that you would want to get a big tip by having great service. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great either. Price: For a steakhouse, it's not that bad of price. Everything else is pretty standard, you're looking at $30 for food and drinks, unless you order a steak. If you get a cut, it would be upwards of $40 or $50 with a drink... and the expensive cut is $60. So it's not horrible, but... see comment above on the food itself. Also, I don't recall seeing that the Onion Soup was an extra charge... and the Cesar salad as well. Overall: I think Bully's is probably made for steaks. The other food was just mid. Service wasn't very good but I understand it was busy, so I'm not trying to dog on that. We only came because it was a family members birthday, otherwise we would have gone to a Thai or Indian place for a place that has more flavor. I think the owners should really taste the food and see if they could do something to update some of the options. Come for a steak and drinks, but nothing else.

Yelp
Old school cool! The ambience is like a place in Chicago or New York where mobsters would hang out - but in a good way! The location is well staffed and the servers are very friendly. I went to check out the football games on a Sunday. Plenty of TVs and they can put the game you want to watch on. As for the food, I tried the bully burger and it's enormous and even comes with soup or salad and one equally large side dish. Looks like they're doing some much needed renovation to the restrooms. This place has a lot of history, character, and potential.

Yelp
Bully's East remains one of my go-to spots off the 8 for strong East Coast vibes and hearty food. The Filet Meatballs are a must -- tender, flavorful, and perfect with a cold beer. Happy Hour is still solid, with great prices, though it's disappointing that it now ends at 6 instead of 6:30. Even more of a letdown is the removal of some classics like the Beef Bone -- a true travesty for longtime fans. That said, the atmosphere, service, and food still make this place worth coming back to. Bully's has that old-school charm that's hard to find in San Diego. Just wish they'd bring back a few of the hits that made it legendary

Yelp
On a recent Monday, I met up with a couple of friends to enjoy a happy hour. We sometimes take the time to look for a good happy hour deal. I had seen the menu for the happy hour specials, and decided that is where we needed to go. We met up just about 5:00 and walked into the bar. The place was definitely packed, though not totally full. It was cool to see a place that is so popular for happy hour. We tried to sit in the tall tables in the bar area, but they were too close together and we couldn't pull out one of the chairs. We were going to sit at the bar, but the hostess helped us to find an open booth, as several had been reserved. I liked the atmosphere, as it definitely has an old school steakhouse vibe going on with dark wood and a bit of a saloon-style bar area. Service was good for a place that busy. We came for the happy hour deals, specifically, as it seems a lot of people dol I tried the happy hour Old Fashioned and a happy hour margarita. I would say that the margarita was better than the Old Fashioned, but both were only OK. Between the three of us we each had a filet mignon street taco, filet meatballs, fried artichokes, ceviche, and chips with guacamole. My favorite items were the tacos and the artichokes. The happy hour menu has some low prices, but as far as value, I felt that it was all only OK. Maybe the food that is not on the happy hour menu is better? Anyway, I enjoyed the atmosphere, but the food and drink were not memorable. I wouldn't mind going back of my friends were having a happy hour there, but I wouldn't plan to go back.

Yelp
We usually come to this restaurant for lunch and decided to try it for dinner Service was great, as the waitress was very kind and attentive. The food was unfortunately poor. Caesar didn't have croutons, the filet had to be cooked twice Ava was still wrong, and the potatoes were being burned. We returned the manager was not considerate. It was a horrible experience unfortunately. Half of us left without eating outr dinners

Yelp
First time here. We came for Thanksgiving. Our service was friendly and nice. We sat in a cozy booth. I liked that they had a Thanksgiving menu that you could choose if you wanted turkey or prime rib and it came with all the Thanksgiving sides like stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans. I really enjoyed my meal. It also came with a pumpkin cheesecake. My bf got the 4 beef ribs and fries. He loved it. I also ordered the onion soup which was good. We definitely will be back.

Yelp
Nice steak house in mid San Diego The steaks were tasty but a tad over cooked/dry Large hot plates makes food look small Waitress was friendly and on top of refills Inside is dark like a typical steak joint Restrooms inside Private parking Next to the freeway 8 and Qualcomm Large parties available Price slightly cheaper than other places Sports playing by the bar

Yelp
Was looking forward to having Happy Hour here. Haven't been here in years. It was also taco Tuesday so I ordered a shrimp taco (recommended by our server) and my friend and I shared chips and guacamole. I was shocked when I received my shrimp taco! Tiny! I'm familiar with street tacos but I don't believe that the menu mentioned that these would be street tacos. The price was $3.75 which sounded like a deal, but according to the size, it was a rip off! Taste was ok, I thought the ONE shrimp in my taco was supposed to be battered, but it wasn't. One piece of shrimp in a taco? Really? It came with a mango salsa. The mango wasn't ripe at all. Oh well, no more tacos at Bully's for me.

Yelp
Loved our mother days dinner here! I had been before just sat in the bar and had some snacks. We decided to get the famous prime rib and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly seasoned and the aus-ju and creamy horseradish paired perfectly with the meal. Everything was fresh and the service was great! Def be back to try some more apps off of the happy hour. Thanks to our server Lauren (i think it was) for giving us fabulous recommendations on the menu.

Yelp
Service slow even tho we there 1pm.... Worst food .... prime rib chewy and fatty....filet mignon dry tasteless.... Two out of 3 dinners bad....birthday big disappointment Mgr did give a credit on the bill.

Yelp
Even though the prices have increased over the years, the old school vibe and amazing prime rib, salad and baked potato remains the same. Sometimes you just need to feed your prime rib addiction and this place is the FIX. So freaking good!! The blue cheese dressing is phenomenal and I always add extra blue cheese crumbles to my salad. The star of the show never fails to deliver, the quality is superb and the au-jus has a crack-a-licious quality to it that is simply addicting. I always go into a euphoric state of food trance after my meal. What can I say? BULLY's is my DRUG.

Yelp
I was looking for a space to host a birthday dinner for 12 guests and decided on Bully's because they have a semi-private area off to the side for large parties. I planned it as a surprise party, so they allowed us to check in a bit early to setup the decorations and arrange the presents on the table before the guest of honor arrived. The server was prompt and all our orders were correct, but we did have to ask for refills a couple times because they forgot our drinks. Everyone, including the kids, seemed to enjoy their food. I shared the special dinner for two they were offering for Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. It came with two filets mignons, a lobster tail, panko broccolini and Lyonnaise potatoes, and there was plenty of food for both of us. For dessert we brought our own cake, and we were provided plates and silverware. All in all, Bully's provided a great location for us to make family memories and celebrate together.

Yelp
2-star because there happy hour is decent. Unfortunately we tried their dinner menu the follow week. #Barf #bday fail 1.service was attentive, cool 80s vibe 2. Beef Wellington should be tossed from the menu. 2 attempts, 30min later my wife ended up eating side dishes. Meat bloody, not med. you'd get better result using Pillsbury tube dough. (Try Red Door in Hillcrest folks). 3. Fancy words for plain old fries. 4. Standard buffalo wings masked as Gochujang hot wings (lmao, im korean and this is not it folks) 5. Coffee w dessert, prob sitting all day, one word description: chalk

Yelp
This is a review for happy hour (4 to 6:30), which we attended on a Tues night. Great price for big prime roast rib for $3 per bone!! Wow, that is a steal, because the bone -- in my opinion -- is the best part!! You get soft tender meat with some fat. Normally, it is roasted in the oven, with some crisp edges. Another option is to have it just cut from the prime rib, which sounded great but was too raw for me (very medium rare). For three of us (2 adults and 1 kid), we ordered 10 bones in total, 3 "rare" and 7 regular roasted, with 3 rounds of ordering. in some instances, the meat was still cold because the fat was solid. We heard another server tell that to the kitchen as well. This is likely because there was a mad rush to get out the food. I still rate 5 stars!! Great au jus sauce! Other appetizers we ordered had varying degrees of tastiness. Too much pepper corn on meatballs (would not order this); Street tacos small but had 3 of them to share; and Artichoke balls fried with mayo/aioli like dressing was good. To my surprise, the shrimp cocktail was really enjoyable as a nice contrast to the beef; the tomatoes, onion, and shrimp had a great flavor with salty crispy tortilla chips Our server was awesome -- she checked on us; warned us when HH about to end; and seemed very experienced. It's dark in the restaurant, has a separate bar area, and had dining areas where you can eat HH or regular dinner. Check this place out!

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed my New York steak dinner here. Juicy and cooked medium well as I requested. Cocktails were also made just right. My Moscow mule was refreshing with just the right amount of vodka and lime to cut through the vodka and the ginger beer. I want to try the prime rib next time I stop by. Great ambience and service.

Drew C.

Yelp
This place has gone way downhill lately. Service is really lacking. Food is still decent. But takes a long time for food, any sort of service. Just seems like being a customer is a burden to this place right now. Hopefully they can turn it around quick, because it's an amazing place to eat.

Yelp
This spot has great traditional steakhouse vibes. PERFECTLY MADE $7 dirty martinis during happy hour Caitlyn my bartender was fabulous. The food is delicious - I got filet mignon and Baja fish tacos for $4 each and shrimp ceviche which was a little salty but still yummy. I skipped chips so don't know about those. Hubby got a prime rib dip sandwich which had onions and provolone, the most delicious and tender prime rib, tangy horseradish sauce and au jus. It came with shoestring fries that we devoured. SO GOOD. This spot needs to be more appreciated. I'll be coming back often. Check out their happy hour menu 4-6p

Yelp
Old school spot. Fun bar. Lots of sports memorabilia. Lots of regulars. Good filling food.

Brett S.

Yelp
The waitresses are good and friendly here but the kitchen is just wildly inconsistent. I've had a good steak here and (most) other times it's just thin and under or overcooked. Extremely poor quality meat and poorly prepared. We got prime rib tonight and the meat was truly pathetic and sad. The pic in my post was is medium rare and look at it. Then look at the other pictures on this yelp. You don't know what you're going to get here. And it's not cheap. I like the vibe here but it's a dice roll, I just can't go back.

Yelp
Prime rib was cold & bloody. Quality has really suffered in the past couple of years, I'm sorry to say. This used to be a favorite of mine.

Yelp
I used to go to Bully's North when I was a kid growing up in Del Mar. Now that I'm moving back into the area had to try Bully's East for old times sake. It didn't disappoint. I came here for lunch with my wife. She ordered a Prime Rib Dip and I ordered the Prime Rib Melt. Both came with Au Jus so we each swapped 1/2 of our sandwiches. Both were excellent. The horseradish sauce was the perfect spiciness for me. The Au Jus was a little bit Salty, but still good. The service was a little slow in the beginning, but once we got our food our server checked back often and my soda glass was never empty.

Yelp
I went to Bully's East for the first time with my spouse to try their filet mignon for a birthday meal. The steak was pink in the middle, like we asked for. However, the meat cut like a cheap piece of top sirloin with no marble: chewy and tough. It was the worst steak I've ever had in recent memory. In hindsight, we should have refused the meal, but we were both hungry, so we covered it with bearnaise sauce like it was gravy, making it digestible. The waitress was nice. The stuffed mushrooms were also good. The chocolate peanut butter dessert tasted like it was 4-5 days old and stale. The blue cheese shallot was pretty bad too, I complained, and the waitress took off the bill. It was not the waitress' fault that the meal sucked so we still left a $20 tip. Never again will we visit Bully's East: what a waste of $141.

Yelp
Pros: The service was excellent. Didn't have to wait too long for food either. The ambiance is pretty nice. Their meatball soup is amazing. Steak fries on point. Plenty of parking. Cons: We ordered short ribs and they were pretty dry and burnt in places. The bbq sauce was ok. Nothing special. But didn't make up for the dry and burnt ribs. Crab stuffed mushrooms had a great sauce but so so fishy. Caught me off guard. I promise I'm not complaining about seafood being fishy but wow. Overall prices are on the higher end for main dishes. Something you would see at Seneca, Eddie V's and Morton's but this place is inland with no views or anything of that sort. Very hard to justify those prices in a non touristy, no view spot, hence minus one more star. Other than that it's pretty ok.

Yelp
Bully's East is a nice cozy restaurant and bar. It's a very casual atmosphere but with really good food. I have yet to have a bad meal here. The go to here is the prime rib. It's probably the best prime rib in all of San Diego. There reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is consistency. I would say about 90% of the time the prime rib comes out nice and tender. 10% of the time it comes out tuff and hard to eat. Unlike most places where the sides are more of an afterthought, Bully's do put a lot of focus into the sides and they do stand out on their own. Even something as simple as a baked potato is loaded with flavor after you top it with bacon and cheese. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive while being very casual.

Yelp
Took my mom out for a treat, wanted to try a new place besides our go to steakhouse. Coming here on a Saturday night that was pretty busy as they had 2 big parties going on but was able to get us a table next to one of the parties we didn't mind. However our server was overwhelmed and didn't check on us as often and was delayed in serving us our water fortunately a bus boy gave use water. Waiter took a while to come back to us to get our order, luckily we weren't starving and was able to wait a bit. My mom ordered a New York steal she didn't care much for the taste, she did really enjoy the baked potato and Brussels. I had the prime rib taste was bland I had to add some salt and pepper au jus lacked flavor, baked potato was yummy. Since we were next to one of the parties we sang happy birthday and watched the celebrant open his presents and thanked them kindly for allowing us to take part in their affairs and we all laughed.. I did have to go up to the hostess to ask for the check and to go box since the waitress was no where to be found. Customer service and staffing could be improved as well as better lighting or at least a battery operated candle on the table. Probably won't be back unless I was a salad, baked potato and Brussels.

Yelp
Just left there right now. Walked in and asked for a table for 3. The restaurant was literally 60-70% empty. The girl tried to seat us next to the bathroom and we asked to be seated at another location. We pointed to at least 6 different empty tables and she proceeded to tell us every single table was not available. All the tables were the exactly the same size as the one by the stinky restroom she tried to seat us at. We literally gave up and told her we will just eat somewhere else if not seated at an appropriate table and she let us walk out the door. The owner should be concerned having employees like this in a down economy when the restaurant is at least 60% empty.

Yelp
This joint was on my wife's brunch list for awhile, so we hit it up on a Sunday around noon... Seated in the back room reminiscent of the Regal Beagle... deep maroon semi circle pleather booths. Server promptly bodied us, and we selected a bloody mary(Sunday special) and a local beer, though none were on special?!? Started with the carne asada fries (Sunday special)...plenty of flavorful meat, though cheese was skimpy and the fries should have been cooked another minute or two... I ordered the Cali burrito...loaded with meat, potatoes, and egg...avocado and cheese as well... meat was great, and was better after I asked for some pico. My wife's Buffalo wings (Sunday special) were perfectly crispy and the sauce was great, though they needed some more of it. Ambiance is 70's supper club, service was prompt and friendly, and prices were slightly above expectation... everything was average.

Yelp
I came to this restaurant from a recommendation of a local friend. I have to say that I was pretty disappointed. Everything was just mediocre at best. The salad was very plain and my main dish, the regular prime rib with baked potato, came out way underdone. I kindly asked to send back the steak to have it cooked a little more and the waitress was very sweet about it. It came out cooked properly but unfortunately it was pretty tasteless as was the baked potato. The food was very disappointing. The waitstaff was great very attentive and kind, so I was very pleased with that. The restaurant itself was nice, but as soon as I walked in the door greeted by the smell of the urine, my appetite was gone.

Yelp
It has been years since I have been here. I was in San Diego craving a prime rib. So I decided to go back to the good old master of prime rib. It was perfect with garlic mashed potatoes

Yelp
I've come here my entire life! I used to come for dinner with my parents as a kid but now I come as an adult for happy hour with my girlfriends . They have great happy hour specials. I had this wonderful tequila coconut cocktail that was damn delicious and then my girlfriend and I shared a Filet mignon dinner and it was made perfectly absolutely perfectly. The meat was unbelievable. Our server was Jessica and she was quite a delight always there. What do we need checking in on us chatting with us about girl stuff and she was a pleasure to meet. I hope we see her next time we go
