Bully's East Prime Bistro Sports Bar

Hosted Dads 90th birthday dinner. They worked w us to create a menu for the event. Room size was good for the 25 people who attended. Server was on point and food was good and timely. Thanks Bully’s for helping our family celebrate Dads big B day party!

They definitely held up to their claim to having the best prime rib in San Diego! All three of us really enjoyed our perfectly prepared meals. Drinks were ice cold and service was excellent! Thank you for making this meal enjoyable.

I had a Pub Burger, which was extremely delicious despite being Medium Well rather than Med Rare as I'd asked for. The fries were good but not too special; next time I'll try the French Onion soup. The salad was very fresh. I'll be back for sure.

All was good time. Old school feel. The prime rib is excellent The bully's classic steak and enchiladas are unexpected surprise. Lunch deals are a true value vs. fast food joints. may be a few bucks more, but you get to sit down and enjoy your food at a higher quality.

Marc was our attentive, patient waiter. We ordered the wedge salad, which had loads of blue cheese. My friend had fresh brewed tea. We decided on the prime rib and the potato cheese with some jalapenos in it. It had a smooth texture (not like the lumpy Marie Calendars which I like also). She had the onion soup and liked it. They changed the menu and the Mac and cheese still has the bread crumbs on it, but it is a different recipe than before, it did not have the beefy broth that made it out of this world good. They also do not carry the scalloped potatoes! Bummer. Marc let us enjoy our (large) salads before having the prime rib come out. We chose medium and it was perfect. The horse radish sauce and the broth was tasty, the blue cheese sauce we asked for was not great for us. We took left overs and had to try the Creme Brulee. It had a ripe strawberry on top. The bus boy was on it asking if he could clear plates. Even the napkins were the good quality ones. Some great seventies hits were playing in the background and some games were on the TVs in the other room. We were at a booth with a white table cloth and dark wood around us. The ladies' bathroom has two stalls and hooks for purses. One sink. It was leisurely, no rush experience. Marc was playful with his "French" accent and checking in with us. My friend had never been there before and said she would return. Was it expensive? It was around $66 per person for a large meal. It was not busy at all for a Thursday night. Why not support a local restaurant? I only wish the happy hour had more appetizers.

We had an exceptional experience dining at this restaurant as a group of nine. The prime rib was truly outstanding and ranks among the top five I've ever had. The service was both quick and attentive, even during a busy evening. The desserts were incredible. Highly recommend!

I've ordered takeout from here a few times and always order the Beef Prime Rib Bones! Staff is always super friendly and prompt with the service. The ribs? Best in San Diego! Just came in and ordered some for New Years lunch.

Food is fine. I think they are trying to do too much. I had the horseradish encrusted prime rib and it was more like bread crumbs. Solid food but not outstanding.
